Treating herself to a gourmet meal, Rihanna headed over to Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Wednesday evening (May 21).
Joined by a friend, the ?Umbrella? babe was hard to miss thanks to her bright Pink pixie cut wig teamed with a blue top and white denim jeans that hugged her curves quite nicely.
Ri-Ri first debuted the Pink coif last Thursday night at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game.
Afterwards she tweeted, ?Wiggin out!! We raided Nicki [Minaj]?s wig closet for the summer! Bad gals just wanna have fun!?

Joanna Krupa busted out some serious sexiness for OK! Magazine‘s annual SO SEXY event; as to be expected, considering she’s so hot, she could even make a garbage bag look good. I still think I prefer Joanna’s backyard bikini shows to her red carpet appearances though. But honestly, I don’t really care where she is, […]

| Angelina Jolie would run for political office 'if I thought I?d be effective' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Angelina Jolie has really been kicking ass during the Maleficent promotional tour, hasn?t she? And we haven?t even had an American premiere yet ? just think about how good it?s going to be in the next few weeks. Anyway, nothing can really compare to Angelina telling Gwyneth Paltrow-esque privileged moms to STFU, but her interview with Good Morning America does have its moments. First, some media-business stuff: I think it?s interesting that Angelina went to GMA with her first morning show interview. She used to give her first interviews to The Today Show and Ann Curry. But Today jettisoned Curry, so now they don?t get her exclusives. It?s interesting, isn?t it?
As for the interview? George Stephanopoulos asks Angelina is she?d ever consider running for public office. What?s interesting is that you can tell that she?s actually considered it at some point, but she says: ?You know, if I thought I’d be effective, I would. But I’m not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way, and be able to be effective.? Here?s the

| Mark Wahlberg on parenting: 'Always be involved in every aspect of their life' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Mark Wahlberg covers the June/July issue of Esquire to promote Transformers: Age of Extinction. This will hopefully be the last movie in what Mark called, “the most iconic franchise in history.” Esquire’s interviews have steadily gone downhill over the past few years. They attempt to replicate a “day in the life” of a given celeb, but the gimmick has worn thin. Like … they’re visiting the doctor with Wahlberg in this interview. He had strep. The doctor prescribed a shot in the rear, and Mark dropped his Calvins. The journo commented on the paleness of Mark’s bum. So weird.
This interview is all about Mark’s experience as a father of four young children (all under age 11). Why not? Actresses ramble on parenting all the time, so it’s nice to see a dude do it. We know that Mark is pretty religious and tries to forget his law-breaking past. He went back and graduated from high school at age 42. He talks about setting a good example. The guy is completely pompous in most interviews, but he’s not so bad here. The part about punching Harry Styles? He’s joking. Maybe:
Why he went back & finished high school:
“I can’t tell my kids to go to school and get an education if I don’t have a diploma. They’d start thinking, Why do we need to go? You didn’t go and you turned out all right. But I’m proud to have it. If I want to go on and further my education and study film or whatever, I can do that.”
On parenting: “I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life. To give them enough trust that they can share things with you. I don?t want them to be terrified of me, you know?”
His two daughters crush on Harry Styles: “I’m like, ‘Well I?m gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him.’”
He grew up in a crowded house, all the boys shared a room: “Which was great at times and pretty traumatic at times when you were really young. You had brothers that were teenagers and they were doing sh-t that teenagers do, and you don’t understand what it is or why they’re doing it.”
Why did he once say he “didn’t feel safe as a child”? “I don’t know why I said that or where it came from. It probably had to do with how I was feeling at the time or what I was talking about in particular. I think, for the most part, I had a pretty good childhood. It wasn’t until we got older that we realized we didn’t have what a lot of other people had.”
Did Wahlberg ever go hungry? “No, it worked out because my dad drove a truck delivering school lunches, so that meant we got a lot of school lunches. We ate a lot of bologna sandwiches, but they also had those little Oreo packs in there sometimes.”
His newfound dilemma: “The biggest thing for me is, you know, as quickly as I was able to turn it around, to get from there to here, from me having nothing as a kid to me here now, providing everything for my kids, it’s like, I worry that maybe they won?t appreciate things. I worry that maybe they’ll have a sense of entitlement. You don’t wanna give your kids everything without giving them the tools to be great people.”
A nurse gives Mark a shot in the rear: “Yoooowwwwwww.”
[From Esquire]
Mark is appealing to the parents who played with Transformers toys as a child. He wants them to get all riled up and take their whole families to see this movie. That’s the only reason I can see for him using an Esquire cover to talk about parenting. It will probably work. Mark’s parenting struggles are real and will ring true with most parents. Most of us do worry about staying close to our kids but maintaining the “parent-child” dichotomy instead of being best buds. We also want to give our children what we didn’t have as kids, but we want them to appreciate the difference too. It’s hard.
Mark also talked to the Mail about how he hopes Rhea will allow them to see daddy in his silly robot movie. But Mark adds, “I hope they never see Entourage.” Good luck, Marky Mark. Say hi to your mother for me!
Here’s a photo of Mark at the Sydney Transformers premiere.

| Kim Kardashian complains about French weather: please, clouds, make it rain! | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
By my count, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had three major costume changes yesterday in Paris. First appearance: Kim in this beige suede dress while visiting the Martin Margiela showroom. People think Kim is going to wear Martin Margiela now, but I doubt it. Margiela made a lot of masks Kanye wore during his Yeezus tour, so I think it?s far more likely that Kanye will be wearing Margiela. Anyway, after that appearance, Kimye went to the gym together. Then another costume change for dinner ? Kim in that black dress. As for the wedding stuff?
La belle vie! Ahead of their upcoming nuptials, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West shopped in Paris, scoping out designer threads on Wednesday, May 21. The engaged couple was spotted perusing stores in the City of Light, making a stop at the Maison Martin Margiela showroom. Armfuls of Valentino garment bags were also seen being delivered to Kimye’s apartment.
“Kanye is super calm and is so, so in love with Kim,” an insider tells Us. “This is his fairy tale. He adores Kim — it’s amazing to watch. He gets giddy around her and just smiles when she walks into a room. He is so excited to marry her.”
While details surrounding the ceremony are still fuzzy, the parents to daughter North West, 11 months, are expected to tie the knot somewhere in Europe on Saturday, May 24.
[From Us Weekly]
Another Us Weekly story has the pre-wedding rehearsal dinner going down on Friday at Versailles, and it will be a ?theme? dinner where everyone will have to wear vintage French royalty attire (how tedious). Kim and Kanye have apparently been bitching loudly about the weather in France too ? apparently it?s been damp and overcast this week? A witness says: ?Kim made it clear that this bad weather is really getting to her. She?s clearly spending millions getting married in Europe, and if it all turns into a wash-out she will be really unhappy.” Dear clouds: please make it rain!!!!
And finally? guess who?s on the guest list? I mean, we know Kanye really, really wants Jay-Z and Beyonce to show up, but did you know Kim also invited Rachel Roy? Roy was apparently (allegedly) ?the reason? why Solange went crazy on Jay-Z in the elevator ? because Rachel and Jay might have been flirting or whatever. But it will probably be no biggie ? after all, Solange isn?t invited, is she? IS SHE?!

| Kendra Wilkinson named her daughter Alijah Mary Baskett: meh or lovely? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
It felt like Kendra Wilkinson was pregnant for two years, right? We heard about her second pregnancy constantly. Part of that was because she started mommy-blogging for People Magazine, telling Hard Truths about pooping, hormones and why she doesn?t want to give birth to a ?princess.? Anyway, Kendra did give birth to a little girl last Friday. Congrats to her and to Hank! Their newborn daughter has a big brother, Hank IV, who is four-and-a-half right now (yes, that?s true, it?s been that long). I was waiting to hear what Kendra named the girl, and now we know?
Kendra Wilkinson is thanking the heavens for her baby daughter … and it’s pretty obvious from the name they’ve given her. TMZ obtained the birth certificate … and it shows Kendra and hubby Hank Baskett named their baby … Alijah. Alijah Mary Baskett.
According to BabyNames.com … Alijah is an Americanized version of Elijah — which means The Lord is My God. Alijah was born at 8:02 A.M. last Friday in Los Angeles.
[From TMZ]
Thoughts on the name? I?m oddly ambivalent. I actually love the name Elijah for a boy, just because I think ?Eli? is one of the cutest nicknames ever. But Alijah for a girl? Eh. Maybe they?ll call her Allie? Or Ally, like Ally Sheedy. I don?t know. I don?t think I love this. And I actually hoped that Kendra would name her daughter something really normal and Supreme Court-approved, like Elizabeth or Emily.

| Stacy Keibler: 'I couldn't ask for a better father for my children' (cough, cough) | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
I keep going back and forth on how I feel about Stacy Keibler these days. Part of me is really impressed (and sort of proud) that she?s moved on from George Clooney in such spectacular fashion. Within a year of the breakup, Stacy is married and knocked up, which is something that?s never happened with Clooney?s exes before (except for his ex-wife, who moved on with John Slattery, that lucky bitch). But another part of me is sort of annoyed by Stacy?s obviousness. Or is it Clooney?s obviousness? It feels like both of them are trying to passive-aggressively steal each other?s thunder.
Anyway, Stacy covers the new issue of Fit Pregnancy, and the interview is a lot like her People Magazine marriage announcement: full of exhausting prose about how unbelievably happy she is. Oh, and she?s expecting a girl. Did we know that already? I think that?s new information. Some highlights:
Her husband changed her mind about babies and marriage: ?Before we met, both Jared and I had told our parents we didn?t think we?d ever get married or have kids, but when you?re with the right person, everything changes. My epiphany happened shortly after Jared and I started dating and, once we both knew, we didn?t hesitate ? I just knew I was ready and that there?s no one else in the world I would want to do this with.?
Jared will be a better father than a certain salt-and-pepper film star: ?Jared is the most thoughtful, loving, kind person. I couldn?t ask for a better father for my children. Our bond is so strong and special and getting pregnant has made it even more so. It?s been so much fun preparing to become new parents together.?
Her birth plan includes a doula: ?I?ve always been a student at heart and I?m a big advocate for women educating themselves about the birthing process. Some dangerous practices are standard procedures for hospitals, and women don?t even realize they have a choice about them. It?s so important that you get all the facts and understand your options.?
She?s not stressed & she?s keeping healthy: ?I live in the present moment. I can?t control how my labor will be, only what?s going on today? I haven?t felt sick or tired so far ? instead, I?ve had an enthusiastic spark that I?ve been harnessing through exercise. I?ve always been conscious of what I put into my body, but now that I?m pregnant I can recognize the positive effects that effort has had.?
[From Fit Pregnancy via People]
?I?ve had an enthusiastic spark that I?ve been harnessing through exercise? ? who talks like this about themselves? I might say that someone else has an ?enthusiastic spark? but I would never say that about myself (because I don?t ? I?m a cynical bitch and I have no spark). Maybe people with enthusiastic sparks are allowed to say it about themselves?
As for the doula stuff? her body, her choice. I didn?t have any doubt that Stacy would be one of those natural birth types. It would only be noteworthy to me if she came out and talked about wanting heroin injected into her eyeballs to help with the birthing pain.

| Jessica Alba covers EW in a swimsuit, says she's not 'perfect' but 'balanced' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Jessica Alba covers the new issue of Entertainment Weekly to promote her role in Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For. It’s weird to see her promoting a film role instead of her lifestyle company, right? Jessica reprises her good-girl stripper character, Nancy, who never actually takes it off. She just dances in a bikini and chaps. Nancy disrobes in the comic books, but Jessica has a no-nudity clause. Jessica tells EW that she’s grown up so much since playing Nancy in the first movie: “I have a fearlessness now that I didn’t before.”
Jessica also has a new interview with People where she talks about her life organizational skills. She’s chatting up her new Zico (coconut water) campaign and telling us how we can achieve “that famous Alba balance in our own lives.” Sort of:
She’s not perfect: “As I?ve gotten older and after I became a mom, it became more of a priority to be healthy for the right reasons. It?s more important to have a balanced approach instead of trying to be perfect. I don?t deprive myself … I have [junk] if I want it. When I do feel that I am depriving myself, I find that I binge. That?s not a balanced way to go about it.”
Her non-gym days: “If I?m not going to sweat I go for a walk for an hour and a half [with the girls]. I’m not so much into preaching, more into practicing. I like to swim with them, go on family walks. The kids like it too, they go crazy, bouncing off the walls if I keep them inside. They?ll throw balls around, and I?m going, ‘You can?t throw balls in the house! That?s our lamp!’”
A coconut water plug: “I feel good and have a lot of energy when I start my day off with a great smoothie,” she says. (Her go-to recipe: 8 oz. Zico, 1/2 cup each frozen blueberries, strawberries and yogurt, a banana, 1 tsp. flax seeds.) And she was touting the benefits of coconut water long before she was getting paid to. “I was an early adopter! Water can get a bit boring. What?s the alternative to just water? This tastes like a treat. My kids are obsessed [with the chocolate flavor]. That?s all they want. I?ve even brought it when we have a family dinner out. I?d rather them have that than whatever they have at the restaurant. It just feels better.”
Her ideal day: “Sleeping in until I felt like getting up for sure, then having some kind of smoothie, then some kind of workout, because I really do like how I feel after a workout. Then actually to be able to look through a magazine or a book by the pool or beach would be nice. And a massage! Then I’d hang out with my kids by the pool — that’s usually the most fun thing. They love that so much, they?re like little mermaids, it?s so fun swimming with them. Then having dinner with my husband! We’d go for sushi [or maybe] a steak dinner — whatever I was feeling that day.”
[From People]
These excerpts aren’t great. Jessica is a somewhat bland interview subject, which is a change from her old stance about how hard it is to be taken seriously as a beautiful woman in Hollywood. Now she’s courting the diaper & household goods crowd, so she has to appeal to those masses. That’s why she’s giving the standard line about having a “balanced” approach to fitness, life, diet, and parenting. Alba may not be the best actress, but she’s a shrewd businesswoman.
We never covered these photos of Jessica at an LA Mother’s Day luncheon. She was given the “mother of the year” award by the Helping Hand organization.

| Star: Julia Roberts 'is petrified Danny will cheat so she treats him like a child' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
|
This sounds serious! But it?s only Star Mag so it?s probably not true. Still, if I told you that I was having some weird feelings about Julia Roberts? marriage, wouldn?t you say to yourself, ?I bet she?s right?? Julia and Danny Moder have never been big on the public displays of affection or anything like that. Have they ever walked a red carpet together? I don?t think so. Not that public displays are indicative of anything, I was just sitting here trying to remember if we?ve ever been like, ?Oh, they seem so in love.? So they?ve made it 12 years together, they have three kids and now Star is saying that it?s pretty much over.
The warning signs have been there for years: countless public squabbles, questions about fidelity and serious tension with the in-laws. And now, after almost 12 years of marriage, friends fear that Julia Roberts and Danny Moder are finally ready to call it quits.
Trust has been an issue with the couple since they first got together ? in large part because Danny was married to another woman when he and the actress first got together.
?Julia?s whole M.O. is to keep Danny by her side, because she?s petrified he?ll cheat,? a source tells Star. ?So she treats him like a child, checking his phone, looking for emails and texts from other women and monitoring who he socializes with and when. She rules the house with an iron fist and uses the fact that she brings in the bulk of their income to control Danny.”
The drama at home couldn?t come at a worse time for the August: Osage County star. Her half sister, Nancy Motes, committed suicide in February, and reportedly left a suicide note bashing her famous sister ? and Danny didn?t agree with the way Julia treated Nancy, either.
?Nancy?s death really made Danny realize how heartless Julia can be,? an insider explains.
Still, image maintenance for Julia means that the couple may not be able to split right away, and for the sake of their three children, Danny has been sticking around.
[From Star Magazine]
Star also says that Danny wanted to do some work on a documentary about ocean pollution and Julia?s first response was “I’m not funding it.” I don?t know y?all? doesn?t this sound like Julia? I have no problem believing that Julia keeps Danny on a tight leash and that she?s in charge of everything, and when Danny tries to do anything apart from her, she?s not happy. But does all of that mean ?divorce?? Or does it just mean they have a crappy marriage? A Low Vera indeed.
