He?s no stranger to legal drama, and Shia Labeouf appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court today to answer for his sins during a production of Cabaret back in June.
The ?Constantine? star, who was visibly humbled, admitted to the wrongdoing and repented to Judge Diana Boyar during the hearing.
Boyar asked Shia, ?Are you pleading guilty because you are guilty,? to which he responded, ?Yes, your honor.?
In exchange for his guilty plea, the court ordered Shia into six months of outpatient alcohol rehab and if he can manage to ?obey all laws? for the next six months, the charges will be expunged from the record.
LaBeouf?s lawyer G. Robert Gage later told press, "We appreciate the thoughtfulness of the resolution of the matter by the (Manhattan) district attorney's office.?

The actress is currently in Toronto promoting two projects that couldn’t be more dissimilar: Lynn Shelton’s “Laggies” and the Alan Turing biopic (and possible awards contender) “The Imitation Game.” In “Laggies,” Knightley nails an American accent to play Megan, an aimless young woman who decides to lay low for a week after agreeing to marry her longtime boyfriend.
“The Imitation Game” finds Knightley back in familiar period mode, playing Joan Clarke, one of the mathematicians who helped Turing break the Enigma code during World War II.

Whitney recently told press that she?s still making final decisions about her own wedding dress- ?I have a couple. The thing about me is that I?m very finicky and I change my mind a lot so I?ll get set on something and the next, I?m like, ?No, no, no, no.? So I?m waiting until the last minute possible to actually decide what I want to do because I want the planning of the actual day to pan out before I decide.?
Ms. Port also weighed in on whether or not her nuptials will turn into a reunion for ?The Hills.? I wouldn't say a reunion, they?ll be a few people that you?ll see there, but not a full case reunion.?

Katey Sagal of Sons of Anarchy got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. On hand to help her accept the award were her former Married… With Children co-stars, Christina Applegate, Ed O’Neill and David Faustino. I don’t have a lot of nostalgia for that show because it was so dirty I wasn’t supposed to watch it. I still did, of course, especially as I got older. Wiki says that it aired from 1987 to 1997, which was a whopping 11 seasons. I didn’t remember how long it ran, that’s crazy.
US Magazine has details of the introduction speeches that Katey’s Married co-stars gave on her behalf. You can see the video of that on the website for The Walk of Fame. Ed O’Neil comes in at around 11:30 and Christina Applegate begins at 12:40. She makes a self deprecating joke about how Katey is in better shape than she is and then she says that Katey was like a mom to her on set. David Faustino also called her his “second mamma” and “an inspiration.” Here’s more:
The Bundys are back together! Katey Sagal was awarded with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and was celebrated by familiar faces — her Married With Children costars!
Seventeen years after the final episode of the sitcom aired, Sagal, 60, posed for a photo with former costars Christina Applegate, Ed O’Neill and David Faustino. O’Neill played her on-screen husband Al, while Applegate and Faustino played their kids Kelly and Bud.
In a video posted on the Walk of Fame website, Applegate joked, “I met Katey when I was 15-years-old, so it’s been about 10 years since we met?I’ll never forget the day that I met her. I walked into the rehearsal hall for Married with Children and she was sitting there wearing a white T-shirt and jeans and I’ve never seen anyone look that good in a white T-shirt and jeans in my entire life.”
“The fact that your body is better now than it was then makes me sick,” the Anchorman actress went on to joke. “Because I’m wearing a Fitbit trying to get rid of all my baby weight!”
Sagal, who was nominated for an Emmy four times for her portrayal of whiny housewife Peg Bundy, was also celebrated by current Sons of Anarchy costar and hunk Charlie Hunnam.

I had the pleasure of hearing Katey’s Fresh Air interview last year. She’s a very interesting, introspective lady and she’s had an amazing life so far. Her dad was a writer and director for television and she worked as a backup singer for Bob Dylan when she was just 19. I had no idea she could sing! It was fascinating to get to know her a little because she so convincingly plays characters that it’s hard to see beyond that. She’s incredible as Gemma on SOA and it’s a shame she’s only won a Golden Globe for that role, she hasn’t even been nominated for an Emmy. I hope that changes this year.
I haven’t seen the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy yet and hope to watch it when I’m done working today, so no spoilers please! I’m most interested in seeing how Gemma handles the mess she’s gotten herself into.

LeAnn?s mom threw shade at her daughter, LeAnn announced that she was off the Pill and her period was late, then she took a pregnancy test and it was negative, you get the idea. I do wonder if this whole ?LeAnn is off birth control? thing is just a plot line for the reality show. Do you think they?re really trying to get pregnant? Eh.
Meanwhile, after the finale aired and no one cared (literally), LeAnn decided to lash out at all the haters (???) by writing a song in response to the reality show finale. Literally. The song is called ?Alive (Thanks To You)? and it is a MESS. I wish she had called it ?Yodeling About the Tabloids.?

Here are some photos from last night?s Fashion Rocks event. I remember, more than a decade ago, when this event was actually a big deal. Not so much anymore. At this point, I?ve got to wonder why Jennifer Lopez is slumming it on this red carpet. I realize she still hustling her album and her new ?Booty? single, but seriously J.Lo, you are better than this. Her red carpet outfit is Versace. I hate this season?s half-booty-short/half-skirt thing. And it looks like Jennifer pissed off her makeup artist again. Oh, and guess who was there? Casper Smart, of course. Because J.Lo never learns.
During the Fashion Rocks telecast, Justin Bieber was on stage with Lara Stone. This happened and it was disgusting.

Always taking on new projects, Britney Spears showed off her latest labor of love at the New York Public Library on Tuesday (September 9).
The ?Toxic? singer was surrounded by lovely models as she unleashed The Intimate Britney Spears lingerie and sleepwear collection.
From there, Spears headed over to Rockefeller Center to appear on ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," during which she played an impromptu game of ?Pros and Cons: Dating Britney Spears.?
Jimmy informed her that he and his team had created a Tinder profile for her. ?Britney, are you excited to be on Tinder?? asked Fallon. She replied sarcastically, ?Oh yeah, I?m thrilled.?
Even funnier, Jimmy posted a profile pic along with the caption, ?This better work, b*tch!?

I like Anna Kendrick a lot. She was great in Up In the Air, 50/50 and she killed it in Pitch Perfect. But I?ve never been one of those internet people that goes crazy for everything she does. Yes, she?s good at social media and she seems like a she?s a cool person in real life, but I feel like certain people/blogs are trying to make Anna Kendrick into, like, the Hipster Megan Fox. Like, she?s a ?hot girl? but she?s authentic, man, and she does indie movies and she’s REAL so you don?t have to feel guilty for thinking she?s hot. That?s just the impression I get. Maybe I?m wrong.
Anyway, Anna Kendrick has some insane stalkers and fans and those people like to send ?gifts? to her home. Some of the gifts are just regular fan stuff, like teddy bears and epic fan letters, all of which she just throws in the trash. But in a new interview, Anna confessed that one fan sent her actual diamonds. And what did she do with them?
?I got [a gift] with, like, a really long letter about how he really felt like we should be together, and if I would just give him a chance, and he didn?t want to do it over social media because he thought that would pressure me because it was public ? he [wanted] to be a gentleman. And he, uh, sent me a pair of diamond earrings,” Kendrick said.
?Get the f–k out of here,? Maron said. ?For real ones??
?For real diamond earrings,? Kendrick responded. ?I did go and check. And I was just like, these have to go into the trash. I can?t. I cannot. I cannot wear them. I can?t give them to someone. It?s too weird. If the teddy bear goes in the trash, these go in the trash. Just on principle. So, I had to throw them away. If you send something to my house, it?s going in the trash.?
She also admitted that, while she hasn?t had to deal too much with stalker issues, she did have to hire a guy to investigate one person who got a little too psycho.

Okay? so? I think this is wrong. I mean, you don?t have to be all Mariah Carey about it and keep binders full of fan letters and have a room dedicated to all of the gifts your fans send you. And it is creepy that people send this stuff to Anna?s HOME. But at the end of the day? those were diamond earrings. DIAMONDS. If she didn?t want to wear them, she could have just sold them or given them away. They didn?t need to be trashed for goodness sake. Note to all movie stars: if you are thinking of trashing some jewelry sent to you by a crazy person, just send the jewelry to me. I?ll take it off your hands because I have no qualms about stalker cooties.

Here are some new photos of Beyonce, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy in the South of France yesterday. They traveled (by yacht) from Portofini to Antibes at some point this week. They?ve been traveling this whole time with Tina Knowles and Jay?s parents. I don?t know if Solange is traveling with them, but I haven?t seen her in any of the photos, so I?m guessing NO. These photos show them on dry land, taking a family trip to the Picasso museum. I?m still loving Beyonce?s current hair. And I?m loving Blue Ivy?s hair and everything else too. It?s nice to see Jay being hands-on with Blue.
Meanwhile, did you hear how ?pulling a Beyonce? is now THE thing to do if you?re a musician? At yesterday?s big Apple product launch/press conference announcing the big Apple Watch (it?s a tiny iPod watch), CEO Tim Cook was on stage with U2. No one knew U2 was going to be there, and then the really shocking thing happened ? U2 played a bunch of new songs off of their first album in five years. And the album dropped first on iTunes. No press, no advance, no drama, just a big, complete album drop? that?s now called ?pulling a Beyonce.? That?s part of her legacy now too, just like dancing on stripper poles in front of a screen reading ?FEMINISM.?
Bey and Jay?s final On the Run performances are in Paris this weekend. The performances will be filmed and aired on HBO on September 20th. That?s the date I have bookmarked in my mind palace ? I think there will be a lot more clarity about their marriage AFTER September 20th.
PS? If I worked for a tabloid, I would use the multiple photos of Beyonce touching her stomach as ?evidence? that Bey and Jay are having a band-aid baby to save their marriage.

Given the specifications of the blind, I thought it was someone like Demi Lovato or Rihanna, but most people thought it was Katy Perry and those people were probably right. Shortly after Swifty?s RS interview dropped, Katy tweeted this:

Finally! Rosamund Pike covers two major October issues to promote Gone Girl. She covers Vogue UK and Glamour (US). We don?t have any interview excerpts from her Vogue UK piece yet, so I?m just including the cover in this post. I like the Vogue cover WAY more than the Glamour cover, which is awkward to say the least. They cropped out part of her head ? that?s not my cropping mistake. They should have cropped the photo higher on her waist so that her whole head could fit in the frame. Weird. Anyway, you can read Rosamund?s Glamour interview here and here are some highlights:
Doing scenes with Ben: “Ben and I would have these scenes that were very giggly and sort of romantic. And then we’d go to this very dark place…I tried to get us out of that.
Doing scenes with Neil Patrick Harris: ?We were in hysterics in the editing room. It was very funny doing [rehearsals for our sex] scene. David left Neil and me alone on that set for like two hours to make sure we could do it. But when it’s just two of you, basically kind of f–king on a bed, it feels so inappropriate.”
She was unnerved by Amy: “There were definitely moments when I felt very uneasy with how much power Amy had. And the interesting thing is, my reaction was to laugh. To get sort of uncontrollable giggles. That was the most curious part of playing her: At the point where she’s at her most powerful, it unnerved something in me.”
Finally getting magazine covers: “A lot of girls who are high-profile in Hollywood?they’ve been doing cover stories for big magazines since they were in their early twenties. And I haven’t. I feel quite nervous about it! And having to do cover shoots while pregnant. You’re like, ‘Well, I’m pregnant. So, you know, I haven’t really got a waist anymore.’ I don’t enjoy the pregnancy bit of having big boobs, really.”
Motherhood & careers: “The question is really why do so many women?s careers take off just as they have children? Is it because you are risking everything in your relationship and the risk-taker in you carries through into your professional life? You have less time to worry and overanalyze ? maybe that’s it. Or the huntress instinct to provide for your family is awoken. [Either way,] with children you spend so much time reexperiencing the world as a child experiences it, and that has a nourishing effect on your imagination ? in my job, imagination is key.”

I get the feeling that Rosamund is a ?light? person in real life ? she just seems very easy-going and sweet, and I can totally see her getting along with Neil Patrick Harris. They probably had the best time together. But working with the Batfleck? I wonder. Oh, and you know what I learned in this? Rosamund named her son Solo. For real. His name is Solo Uniacke. That poor kid!!

Katy Perry covers the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar in an Asian-inspired shoot. The theme doesn’t stand out on the cover as much as the editorial. Katy thinks she’s super kawaii in real life. At least she’s not committing cultural appropriation again with “geisha style.” This shoot simply favors Japanese gardens as a backdrop. Katy was probably bored, and her poses reflect that attitude.
The interview is more interesting. Katy says Rolling Stone made up her quote about having a baby without a man. She shades pop stars (like Lady Gaga) for talking to their Twitter followers. Katy claims to not care about anything except finding a really smart man. She’s even studying the Dictionary.com app to land this dude:
Her lifestyle: She meditates “five to six times a week and has an “act-out day about every four to six months. I?ll have a cigarette, which I know is absolutely horrible for me, after a few drinks when I?m having a week off. I don?t do black tar heroin.”
Her future love life: “Open. As I?m heading into my 30s I have less time for bullsh-t. I look for the same characteristics: a sense of humor–someone who makes me laugh off the charts– someone who is sensitive, someone who loves and understands music, and who is really smart. A lot of times I?ve ended up with people who have been intimidated by me, unfortunately. They say they?re not, but it comes out in the long run. They?re threatened, or there?s resentment because they don?t know how to handle it.”
She gives “less of a sh-t” as she gets older: “I hear that the 30s are a better version of your 20s, because you know what you want for yourself. I?ve always been very attracted to gentlemen who have quite large vocabularies. One of my favorite apps is the Dictionary.com app.”
On Twitter: “I can go a week without tweeting and be fine. Like I don?t have to say, ‘Goodnight,? to my followers.” She rolls her eyes.
She loves/hates the internet: “When I do these interviews, a lot of these clips people pull out are like, ‘Katy Perry doesn?t want a man to have babies. I?m like, ‘I didn?t say that. I just said, I?m good.’ Why am I a baby machine? Why can?t I be a mogul? I want to have a baby, sure, but I want to have a career. I want to have a record label. I want to have an incredible tour. So I?m going to have all of those things. Let?s talk about that. It?s like, get out of my ovaries, okay? I?ll do it in time.”
She loses it sometimes: When she?s having an off day, Perry gets “quieter. I can snap a little bit, be a little bitchy to the couple of people around me. Tamra, my assistant, is my closest punching bag. But she?s strong and understands that I have a lot of pressure on me sometimes. But, you know, I went to Santa Barbara, which is my hometown, the other day, and I just drove there, laid out on the beach in my bikini like a starfish, and nobody cared.”
Her fashion: “Whenever the Internet will put me on blast about whatever I wore, I?m like, ‘I ain?t dressin? for you. I don?t dress for you bloggers who are still wearing bandage dresses.’”

Okay, I’m a little mean for chuckling over Katy’s endorsement of the Dictionary.com app since she feels bad about not having a great education. Katy did take a cheap shot at hot blogger fashion, so that makes us even. I don’t know about other bloggers, but I have never worn a bandage dress. Our standard uniforms are sweat pants, yoga pants, and tank tops with the bra built in for convenience. None of this “bandage” stuff.
Katy has a right to be upset about being characterized as a “baby machine” if she didn’t really say that stuff to Rolling Stone. No woman should feel like she has to have a baby, but Katy did play that bait-and-switch game with Rusty Brand years ago.
Oh, and the mean-girl blind item that Taylor Swift offered up yesterday? Katy pretty much outed herself on Twitter. Shade!
