When Russell Brand was credibly accused of multiple instances of sexual assault, it was one of the least surprising moments of the past decade. So too with Jared Leto, who falls in the same Russell Brand category of ?It?s Been An Open Secret For Years.? The only surprising part is that it?s taken THIS long for someone to do a serious expos on Leto?s decades of skeevy, predatory behavior. The year is 2025, and #MeToo has finally come for Jared Leto. Air Mail published the expos, in which nine women describe their stories of being preyed upon by Leto. Most of the women were just girls when Leto approached them and began grooming them his type, it seems, is ?girls around the age of 16.? You can read the full Air Mail piece here. Here?s an excerpt:
But the theatrics, the robes, the rituals, and the guru-posturing at this and other Mars-hosted events haven?t fully been able to obscure decades? worth of rumors about Leto behaving inappropriately with younger women in his orbit. I spoke with nine of these women, who revealed a darker side to the 53-year-old actor.
On September 12, 2005, the New York Post published an item on Leto, who had, a few years earlier, appeared opposite Jennifer Connelly in the movie Requiem for a Dream. The story opened with the blunt line: ?Jared Leto likes ?em young.?
Though Leto, 33 years old at the time, had been spotted around New York with Ashley Olsen and Lindsay Lohan?who were both of age by this point?the New York Post alleged that he was more interested in groups of teenage models staying at the Maritime Hotel. ?Girls from IMG, Elite, Next and Women are staying there, and Jared has been hitting on all of them,? an anonymous source told the paper. ?He?s a serial texter. He is constantly texting these other 16- and 17-year-old girls. It?s really kind of creepy.? (A representative for Leto calls the New York Post item ?recycled tabloid fodder and demonstrably false.?)
Twenty years later, the women I spoke to say Leto?s alleged past behavior was not a phase but rather part of a long-standing pattern?one that was and continues to be widely known in some circles and, generally, quietly accepted. ?It?s been an open secret for a long time,? one of the women tells me.
Another woman I spoke to, a model and music producer, says she was 16 when, in 2006, Leto approached her at Urth Caff in Los Angeles, then a popular destination for Hollywood agents and middle-school girls. The woman?s mother was outside waiting for a table. As the woman pushed through the crowd to go to the bathroom, Leto?seated nearby with Olsen, 19, whom he was rumored to be dating at the time?grabbed her arm.
?I looked down and it was Jared Leto,? the woman says. ?We had a quick conversation, and he got my number.? A few days later, Leto called her home in the middle of the night. ?I don?t know if he was on drugs or what ? It was the weirdest, grossest voice?. [But] for me, it?s Jared, you know?? (A representative for Leto says he ?has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.?)
That night, Leto was hosting a party at his house in Los Angeles?s Laurel Canyon neighborhood organized by Brent Bolthouse, a nightlife promoter behind the then infamous Neon Carnival parties?lavish, invitation-only affairs held at the Desert International Horse Park, in Thermal, during Coachella.
Leto invited the woman, but she declined. ?I didn?t even have a driver?s license,? she says. Still, over the next three weeks, the calls kept coming. ?Always at one, two, three A.M.,? she remembers. ?And the conversations turned sexual. He?d ask things like, ?Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a dk??? The woman says the experience left her shaken. She was in rehab at the time and discussed it with her counselor. ?He changed?his voice, the way he talked. It scared me,? she says. ?That was the first time I thought, ?Oh my God, that?s not just in movies.?? (The woman?s mother, who she says overheard one of their phone calls, has confirmed her story.)

I?ll admit that I couldn?t even get through the whole piece, I was so disgusted. I believe all of these women, and I believe Leto has done even worse to even more girls and women. Leto and his people knew this was coming I would imagine that his team has probably had their statements and blanket denials ready since 2017. I bet some of those people are even shocked that it?s taken this long for any of this to come out. This feels like the tip of the iceberg. I hope I?m wrong, but I doubt I am.

This is nowhere near a comprehensive fashion list for last night?s Tony Awards, I?m just trying to highlight some of the best or worst fashion moments from people I recognized! I covered George Clooney?s appearance separately go here to see. Katie Holmes went to the Tonys in this two-piece Prada ensemble. In my opinion, the house of Prada has issues and this is a glaring example of those issues. They have color issues they put funky colors together and when they do bicolor or tricolor looks, it?s always jarring. The top part of this is also just? awful, it?s like a wrinkled sack.
Nicole Scherzinger surprised everyone by winning her first Tony Award for Sunset Boulevard, beating out Audra McDonald in Gypsy. It was also a surprise because Nicole?s time on Broadway has been marred by some off-Broadway gossip, like her coziness with MAGA. She wore a custom Rodarte, which looked lovely (albeit slightly dated).
Cynthia Erivo was the Tonys host, and she had a lot of outfit changes. She wore this Schiaparelli look for the red carpet. Eh.
Sarah Snook won her first Tony! Her gown was Richard Quinn.
Michelle Williams wore Bibhu Mohapatra I LOVE the skirt. I feel like the top could have been different?
Sarah Paulson wore Schiaparelli as well this is so ?1950s.?

I was really looking forward to the French Open women?s singles final on Saturday. It was the dream final between the top two seeds, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka (#1) and American CoCo Gauff (#2). They just played in the final of the Madrid Open, and when CoCo won her 2023 US Open trophy, she beat Sabalenka. They were the two best players during the clay-court swing, and a lot of tennis fans hoped this would be the final. Incidentally, I just love this matchup, and it?s one of my favorite matchups in the current WTA: Aryna is one of the most powerful WTA players on the tour, and CoCo is one of the best defenders on the tour, not to mention one of the fastest.
At first, it looked like Aryna was going to roll through Coco, but then at some point in the first set, CoCo started to get into a rhythm. Aryna began to malfunction, showing waves of emotion and panic. Aryna ended up winning the first set, then CoCo just didn?t go away as Aryna?s level dropped off. CoCo just kept running, kept getting everything back, kept fighting. CoCo easily took the second set, and then the third was all about both women tussling, fighting, scrapping, running. CoCo held her nerve spectacularly as Aryna continued to implode (similar to what happened in the 2023 US Open final). CoCo Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4. CoCo won her second major singles title, and third major overall (she won the doubles title in Paris last year). She?s only 21!
The story of the match was multifaceted: it was about Coco?s mentality, her spectacular defense, her variety, her speed, her grit, her ability to handle the conditions, and her worst shot (her forehand) not letting her down in the last two sets. The match was also about Aryna?s implosion, Aryna?s enormous unforced-error count, her overhitting and inability to power through Coco?s defense.
Unfortunately, Aryna was incredibly bitter about the loss. In her loser?s speech on stage, some of the first words of her mouth were about the wind and the conditions. She also sobbed on stage and said her performance was ?terrible.? Then it got worse in Aryna?s press conference:
On a day where Sabalenka described her 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4 defeat to CoCo Gauff as ?the worst final I ever played?, the world No. 1 concluded her press conference by expressing her belief that had she lost to Iga Swiatek in the semifinals, the Pole would have gone on to clinch a four-peat in Paris.
?If Iga would win me another day, I think she would go out today and she would get the win. Yeah, it just hurts,? said the three-time major winner. Honestly hurts. Ive been playing really well, and then in the last match, go out there and perform like I did.?
Sabalenka notably ended Swiatek?s 26-match win streak at the clay-court major, but Gauff also had a recent win over their mutual rival?sweeping Swiatek over a pair of 6-1 sets to reach the Madrid final before losing that 1000-level championship to Sabalenka.
Upon hearing what Sabalenka said, Gauff understanbly saw it far differently.
?I dont agree with that. Im here sitting here (laughter). Last time I played?no shade to Iga or anything?but I played her and I won in straight sets. Yeah, I dont think thats a fair thing to say, because anything can really happen,? she said.

I won?t defend Aryna whatsoever she sounds like a bitter loser and she needs to clean this up quickly. That being said, I do think she meant to criticize herself and compare herself unfavorably to Iga Swiatek, and basically say: Iga has a better mentality than me, she?s better in finals. But it?s still crazy for Aryna to say it in that way, especially because? Aryna bageled Iga in their semifinal. Iga has been losing to EVERYONE this year. Iga?s mentality and game have been in the dumpster since she flunked a doping test last year. As CoCo said, she beat Iga with ease when they played a month ago. CoCo is actually on a three-match winning streak against Iga! Anyway, Aryna?s inability to give CoCo credit for the win is really awful. Aryna is getting TONS of sh-t from the tennis community for her comments. On Sunday, Aryna did post a statement on her IG Stories, but the statement sucks and shes still going to have to apologize and clarify when she gets to Wimbledon in a few weeks.

In retrospect, it?s really funny how Amal Clooney completely avoided being photographed with her husband in the months where he had a terrible dye job. George Clooney dyed his hair black to play Edward R. Murrow in the stage adaptation of Good Night and Good Luck, and he spent months wandering around New York looking like Lurch. Amal avoided his Lurch Era, but she?s come back now that the show is over and his hair is almost back to its normal grey. These are photos of the Clooneys last night at the Tony Awards. He told People Mag that Amal was ?the happiest person? when he went back to grey. All of the dyed hair isn?t gone though, and now he really looks like he?s wearing a bad rug.
The Clooneys attended the Tony Awards because George was nominated for Best Actor and GNAGL was nominated in the Best Play category. Somewhat hilariously, the Tonys completely shut out GNAGL. Good. George has lost the plot, and during his turn on Broadway, he was an active participant in Jake Tapper?s anti-Biden bullsh-t. CNN was shilling hard for Clooney as well, airing GNAGL and pretending like it was some bold decision to do so. George deserves a lot worse than being shut out of the Tonys, but I?ll take this.
As for Amal, her dress is Tamara Ralph. Amal showcased the dress terribly, slouching over, shoulders slumped, twisting herself in knots to not tower over George. The dress itself is okayish, I guess the pearl detailing is lovely, but the look is very bridal. I feel like the length of the dress was a weird choice too.

The Mail on Sunday had a particularly weird article about the Duchess of Sussex this weekend. No one believes that the Mail has sources in Meghan?s camp whatsoever, but that outlet still tries to convince everyone that they have ?sources close to Meghan? commenting about various faux-scandals ginned up by the British media. One of the big ?scandals? this month is that Meghan and Harry danced in a California birthing suite in 2021 when Meghan was overdue with Lilibet Diana. The British media was scandalized, appalled and nauseous that a pregnant woman would DANCE! The pearl-clutching and performative ?cringing? has dominated the media for days and days. Well, now the Mail says that Meghan thinks they?re all prudes and losers, and something something Meghan?s got a ros wine line coming out soon. These are two different stories, but for some reason, this is the way the Mail reported it:
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, came in for criticism in Britain last week when she released a ?cringeworthy? video of her twerking in the delivery room before daughter Lilibet?s birth. The Mail on Sunday can reveal that, despite the backlash over her dodgy dancing with Harry to the soundtrack of Starrkeisha?s Baby Mama song, defiant Meghan is thrilled by the reaction in America.
Last night a source close to the Sussexes said: ?Meghan is very pleased with the video. In the UK everyone?s reaction has been a bit prudish but everywhere else, particularly in America and especially with young people, it has been a huge hit.?
Meghan is about to launch a series of new products as part of her As Ever line ? including ros wine. The source added: ?She and her team count it [the video] as a ?win?, which can only be a boost for sales. Her new products are marketed at Americans and not at the UK market.?
Meghan launches her ros wine in three weeks, joining stars including Brad Pitt, Drew Barrymore, Kylie Minogue and Sarah Jessica Parker, who all have lucrative alcohol lines. A source said: ?Meghan doesn?t care about the haters in Britain calling her vulgar. Americans thought the twerking video was hilarious and relatable.?
Eric Schiffer, of Reputation Management Consultants, said: ?Meghan wants to connect with Gen Z which demands viral moments. She doesn?t care about the UK because that?s not where the money is. Brits have certain standards they expect of royalty. Americans don?t care. To us it?s a soap opera.?
The duchess has made no secret of her love of wine, naming her pre-Harry blog The Tig after her favourite Italian red, Tignanello. Viewers of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan commented on how often she enjoyed a glass of wine with guests. The ros will be sourced from grapes grown in California, close to the Sussexes? Montecito mansion.
The source said: ?The ros wine is only the first product in what she and Netflix hope will be a substantial alcohol range, which will include ready-made cocktails and luxury items like flower-infused gin. Expect the new products to include more jams like strawberry. She has been exploring lemon curd, which is a very English thing. It?s not something most Americans know about.

Honestly, I hope Meghan does have a wine line coming out. It would be super-lucrative for her most celebrity booze lines mint money. Plus, she does love wine and it seems like a very natural space for her. As for Meghan?s reaction to the British prudes? the Mail doesn?t have any sources in Meghan?s camp, but this is probably close to how she feels. She doesn?t care. She knows that the British media is going to throw a week-long tantrum whenever she does or says anything. She?s not even selling her products over there, and that?s making them especially enraged too. The fact that she doesn?t give a sh-t about the British market. LOL.
