| Nicole Kidman got an exemption on Hong Kong's mandatory 3-week quarantine | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Nicole Kidman worked during the pandemic, and she continues to work through? whatever we?re still experiencing. Like, the Phase 3 of the pandemic, where millions of people are vaccinated but highly contagious variants are exploding through the population. Most countries still have travel restrictions in place, and most countries also have mandatory quarantines set up for the few travelers coming in. Hong Kong has a mandatory three-week quarantine for every person entering the country, regardless of vaccination status or nationality. Except that Nicole Kidman arrived in Hong Kong for work and she was exempted from the quarantine procedures.
Australian actor Nicole Kidman was exempted from quarantine in Hong Kong last week, the government appeared to confirm even as the Asian financial hub braced for more draconian COVID-19 travel restrictions to take effect from midnight Thursday. The citys government did not directly identify the 54-year old Hollywood star but said it had granted foreign overseas film personnel permission to skip quarantine for the purpose of performing designated professional work.
The exemption contrasts sharply with entry rules for residents that are some of the most stringent coronavirus requirements globally, sparking online criticism from residents in the special administrative region of China.
Many travellers to Hong Kong have to do up to 21 days mandated quarantine in a hotel, even those who are vaccinated. The measures have led to many residents not being able to visit relatives and travel overseas for nearly two years.
Kidman was in the former British colony to film an Amazon television series called The Expats, online news site HK01 reported. She was spotted shopping and filming after arriving from Sydney last week, according to HK01.
Australia is battling an outbreak of the fast-moving Delta strain and reported its biggest one-day rise in COVID-19 infections on Thursday. Hong Kongs government has upgraded 15 overseas places including the United States, Spain and France to high risk effective Thursday midnight, meaning only vaccinated people from those countries will be allowed to enter. The measures have sparked chaos for travellers who are desperately trying to rebook hotel quarantine and flights with limited supply available.

I knew that Nicole spent a good chunk of the past year in Australia, working on various projects in an almost entirely Covid-free area, but I thought she was filming the Lucille Ball movie in the US? So has she been able to move freely between Australia and the US this whole time, with minimal quarantines? Variety says that Nicole flew to Hong Kong from Sydney on a private plane, and that she?s in Hong Kong for The Expats, which she?s executive producing. Hong Kong, like Australia, has some of the strictest border controls in the world right now because of the raging Delta Variant. Anyway, the people who actually live and work full-time in Hong Kong are pissed. As they should be. It?s astounding to me that Kidman has been able to travel so freely this whole time. Australia also made a huge exception for her last year, remember?

| Brandon Blackstock was 'extremely jealous' of Kelly Clarkson's success | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It?s always weird when I have really bad vibes about a celebrity or a celebrity spouse and then years later, my initial bad-vibe was sadly dead-right. That?s how it was with Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock. He seemed to give off douche-vibes, cheater vibes, fraud vibes. And here we are. Kelly filed for divorce last year and they were able to publicly keep a lid on the drama for months until it started to spill out in court filings and the gossip tabloids. Brandon and his father likely defrauded Kelly out of millions of dollars. Brandon demanded more than $400K a month in spousal and child support. Brandon was fighting to nullify her prenup. Kelly stayed the course and her prenup was recently validated by the court. So now that the end is in sight for Kelly, it?s time for a little housecleaning on why she left in the first place. According to Us Weekly, Brandon wasn?t just a greedy, disgusting fraud. He was also jealous of her success. Big surprise.
She can breathe for the first time! Kelly Clarkson feels ?extremely confident? as she waits for her divorce from Brandon Blackstock to be finalized, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
?The relationship had been on the rocks for a long time,? the insider adds. ?She was the high-income earner with a wildly successful talk show, and is the star of another hit show The Voice. Brandon was extremely jealous of it and made her know it.? Following her June 2020 split from the music manager, 44, the original American Idol winner, 39, ?can finally enjoy her success without feeling ashamed,? the source tells Us. ?Kelly doesn?t take credit for her success but shares it with the team she works with. It?s just who she is.?
The Kelly Clarkson Show host earns nearly $2 million in monthly income, and according to the source, the Daytime Emmy winner grew wary ?that Brandon was just using her for her money and lifestyle? before they called it quits.
?The marriage was really, really awful at the end. ? Kelly felt that she could no longer trust Brandon. She had a lot of questions that he just couldn?t answer,? the source tells Us, noting that there was ?tremendous resentment? between the former couple. ?She just wasn?t willing to look the other way anymore.?
With ?so much tension in the family home? ahead of the duo?s split last summer, Clarkson appreciates the fresh start she found in her new Toluca Lake, California, residence. The ?Since U Been Gone? singer dropped $5.4 million on the estate in June ? and feels better than ever. ?Buying a new house for the kids was also a new beginning for Kelly,? the insider says. ?It was freedom.?
Along with her new home on the West Coast, the Grammy winner secured the Montana property she previously shared with Blackstock, which she argued was a ?financial burden? in recent court docs. She is also fighting to legally restore her maiden name when the divorce proceedings are made final.
[From Us Weekly]
It?s all worth discussing, but I?m particularly stuck on ?Kelly felt that she could no longer trust Brandon. She had a lot of questions that he just couldn?t answer? and ?She just wasn?t willing to look the other way anymore.? This could be cheating and I wouldn?t doubt it but I think it?s more like that Kelly had gotten wise to all of his financial schemes and the fact that he was actively defrauding her. She began to challenge him on ?where is all of this money going? and he didn?t have any answers. Yeah, I bet it was really awful in the end. I feel so sorry for her. She really loved him and trusted him. And he treated her like sh-t and stole from her.

| Kat Dennings arranged a very special birthday surprise for her cat | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kat Dennings is mom to Millie, eight. Millie, is a domestic long-haired tabby that she rescued as a kitten. If you spend any time at all on Kats Instagram, Millie is featured prominently, as she should be, she?s a marvel in every way. So it comes as no surprise that Kat puts extra thought into her baby?s birthday celebrations. Kat, who is partnering with Royal Canin to promote National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day on August 22, talked about Millie?s guilty pleasure which happens to be the little pouches the chopsticks come in when you order Chinese take out. And what Baby wants, Baby gets. Kat collected all the wrappers she could over the course of a few months so when Millie?s big day arrived, Kat was able to shower her in chopstick wrapper love.
Kat Dennings will do anything to make her cat, Millie, happy!
The Dollface star, 35, tells PEOPLE exclusively about the hilarious habit her furry friend picked up ? and how she eventually catered to it.
Millie has very limited access to anything dangerous. Im an insane helicopter mom when it comes to her. This cat loves anytime I get sushi takeout or delivery or whatever, and you know how the chopsticks come in that little chopstick pouch? Theres something about the chopstick pouch that drives this cat wild, the actress, whos partnered with Royal Canin to raise awareness about their National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day campaign, says about her cats quirk.
She loves the empty chopstick pouch. She hoarded that, she continues. She would find one and drag it upstairs and hide it, and I just found this little stash of empty chopstick pouches.
Dennings once went the extra mile to pull off an insane chopstick pouch feat for Millies birthday.
I saved all the chopsticks pouches for months and months, and I surprised her. She sat on the bed, and I filmed it in slow motion ? again, I know, Im insane. I threw a hundred chopstick wrappers into the air and filmed her reaction, and she could not believe it, she says. So I dont know if that story says more about Millie or about me.
[From People]
Kat said she filmed this chopstick pouch confetti fete, but I can?t find evidence of it. Maybe that was just a sacred moment between mother and daughter on her special day. Looking at photos of Millie on Kat?s IG, I can kind of get a sense of her personality and even picturing this scene is bringing me much joy. I love that she did this for Millie. Think about the planning that went into it and how excited she must?ve been every time she tucked away another wrapper. And the great thing is that, unlike ungrateful children who will call you out on repeating yourself, Kat can make it rain chopstick wrappers every year and Millie will be just as dazzled as if it was happening the first time.
It will surprise no one here to know that I, too, celebrate my pets? birthdays. Growing up, our gift to our Irish Setter was a trash bag full of balloons suspended from a tree. He?d knock it down and chase the balloons down one by one until he?d popped each one. I tried that with my Jindos and they were so terrified, they hid from the bag/balloons for hours. To this day, they regard balloons brought in for other?s birthdays with great suspicion. Another birthday I ?delivered? them mail, because they love to attack junk mail when we bring it in. But they knew it was my daughter who put it in the mailbox and just looked at us weird when we opened the door. Maybe I?ll try the chopstick wrapper thing. My new kitten will love it, I know that.
The National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day is a good initiative because cats really don?t tell us when they get sick. They tend to go off and deal with their issues, not always successfully, so regular vet care is especially important for cats. Low-cost clinics are starting to open back up, so make sure your kitty gets checked out.
Also, I forgot Kat was engaged. She and her fianc, Andrew W.K. seem to have a lot of fun together. Obviously Mille approves of him, or Kat would?ve kicked him to the curb.
