We recently heard the very weird news that Renee Zellweger has started dating Ant Anstead. British peeps told me that Ant is somewhat famous in the UK, but here in America, he?s known more as ?that guy who was married to Christina El Moussa for less than two years.? The ink was barely dry on Christina and Ant?s divorce when Ant and Renee began to see each other. It?s all very weird, and I still maintain that Renee has one of the most chaotic dating histories of any celebrity woman. Well, I guess Renee?s PR people want to ensure that this one works for a while, which is why we?re getting People Magazine ?exclusives? about how Renee and Ant just ?clicked.? Sure.
Rene Zellweger and Ant Anstead seem to be clicking as their summer romance blossoms. Zellweger, 52, and Anstead, 42, first met when working together earlier this month on the set of Ansteads upcoming Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU: Joyride. News of their romance came days after Anstead finalized his divorce from HGTV star Christina Haack, 37.
An entertainment source tells PEOPLE that despite being an unlikely duo, the two-time Academy Award winner and the Wheeler Dealers star are bonding over their common interests.
Sometimes two people just meet and click, and the timing is right, the source says in this weeks issue. Rene is creativeand often goes for guys who think out of the box. Shes smart, thoughtful and always looking to expand horizons and nurture those around her.
Both of them are private and dislike public scrutiny, so they have that in common. Hes a creative guy with lots of interests, and she likes to write and produce, so they have things to talk about when together, the insider adds.
Haack announced news of her split from Anstead in September 2020, writing, Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority. We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future. They share son Hudson, 21 months, and have been granted joint legal and physical custody of him.

Ant is very much a car guy he?s made a career out of being a car guy but he seems interested in other stuff as well. I remember seeing him on Christina?s HGTV show and thinking that he seemed very family-oriented and like he had tons of ideas about decorating, renovations, etc. I bet that?s something he and Renee talk about, because she flips homes. But beyond that? yeah. They?re an odd couple. Which is fine, just be an odd couple and embrace it. Don?t pretend that this dude you?ve been dating for a minute shares all of your interests.

Either Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have both moved on with new partners and everything is healthy and fine, or they?re engaged in some kind of ex-lover tit-for-tat in the press. You decide! I honestly haven?t figured it out yet. I think Olivia moved on quickly with Harry Styles and Jason was hurt, or his pride was wounded. But I also think he has plenty of options and he quickly began dating Keeley Hazell, his Ted Lasso costar and longtime friend. Jason and Keeley did their first pap stroll in New York several days ago. So? it honestly looks like Olivia saw those photos of Jason and Keeley, immediately booked a flight to Italy and bum-rushed Harry Styles on what was his quiet Italian holiday. Thankfully, someone went to Page Six to paint it as a romantic getaway:
Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde were spotted enjoying a romantic vacation together in Tuscany, Italy, on Wednesday. The pair were seen looking very much in love in photos taken by fans as they strolled with their arms around each other in the picturesque seaside town of Porto Ercole.
?Harry has been seen taking a break on the beach in Porto Ercole after he finished filming ?My Policeman? in London,? a source exclusively told Page Six. We?re also told Wilde added the Italian getaway to her schedule after spending time with her son, Otis, 7, and daughter, Daisy, 4, whom she shares with ex-fianc Jason Sudeikis.
?Olivia has also been in London, spending time with her kids, who are there with Jason,? the source said. ?Olivia stayed behind with her kids, then she flew into Porto Ercole to join Harry.?
The ?Watermelon Sugar? singer had been spotted frolicking alone on a Venice beach on Friday ahead of Wilde?s visit.

Maybe Olivia has been in London, but she was in LA last week, and Jason has been in New York this week with his girlfriend Keeley. Where are the kids? In London, or in New York with Jason? Or in LA? I think Page Six got the cities wrong. But the Harry Styles-watchers knew that he was in Italy for several days before Olivia arrived. So? it is what it is. I find them to be an odd couple and I?m very curious about what Olivia will say about him once they do break up.

Early in Britney Spears? statement in court last week, she told the judge that she didn?t know that her lawyer could file to terminate her conservatorship. The news was somewhat lost in the larger narrative of abuse and the lack of disability and reproductive rights within Britney?s statement. It?s clear that Britney has been deeply unhappy and flat-out traumatized by her conservatorship. But it?s negligence from her lawyer that Britney didn?t even know that she could ask for the whole thing to be terminated. All Britney?s lawyer has asked from the court is that they make changes to the conservatorship. In fact, Britney?s heart-wrenching statement came as part of the ongoing hearing to simply remove Jamie Spears as permanent conservator. One week later, and the judge has denied the request:
A judge has shot down Britney Spears? request to have her father removed from her conservatorship ? at least for now. New court documents that were filed by the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday show that the judge has denied a months-old request by Spears? attorney, Samuel Ingham III, to remove her father, Jamie Spears, as her sole conservator. These documents are not in direct response to last week?s hearing, where Spears gave an explosive testimony; though Spears delivered a powerful 24-minute statement, the judge cannot make any ruling based on what she said as she still has yet to file a petition to terminate her conservatorship.
?The conservator?s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice,? the court documents filed on Wednesday stated.
The new court filings are another legal setback for the singer, but the judge?s denial is nothing new. Samuel Ingham III had filed the request to remove Spears? father back in November 2020, stating that his client was ?afraid of her father? and would refuse to perform again, if her father continued to be in charge of her career. At that time, Judge Brenda Penny declined to suspend her father from the conservatorship, though she did not rule out future petitions for his removal or suspension. Also, at that time, the judge appointed financial company Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator.
Today?s paperwork was solely intended for the judge to approve Bessemer Trust as the co-conservator, but also reiterates the judge?s decision to not remove the elder Spears from the pop star?s conservatorship. However, it?s significant that the document was signed by Judge Penny on June 30 ? after the singer?s explosive testimony where she told the judge that her conservatorship was ?abusive.?

It?s not good news, and it?s basically showcasing the sh-ttiness of the laws around conservatorships, which are seriously lacking in fail-safes for abusive conservators. That being said, Britney needs new lawyers. This ruling didn?t happen because Britney ?doesn?t have a case.? This ruling happened because her lawyer sucks and he?s terrible at his job. Britney needs legal representation with people who know they?re working for her, people who know conservatorship law backwards and forwards, and people who will give Britney a lot of options about how to proceed.

We?re always talking about how some pregnancies feel like they last an eternity and some whizz by. Gal Gadot?s latest pregnancy feels like the latter. To be fair, we just found out about her third pregnancy in March. I guess she was already well into her second trimester by then because on Tuesday, Gal announced the birth on Instagram. She posted the sweet photo above of herself, her husband Yaron Varsano and their daughters, Alma, nine, Maya, four, and the newest family member, Daniella, with the following caption:
My sweet family ??I couldn?t be more grateful and happy (and tired ?) we are all so excited to welcome Daniella into our family. I?m sending all of you love and health. GG ????????????

I absolutely love the vibe of this post. First of all, it?s the perfect complement to the announcement photo with the family smiling and touching Gal?s belly. Secondly, it?s such a relaxed photo, it looks like an album cover. Like they were all in the middle of a family sing-along when mom needed a small break to give birth, then they picked up at the second stanza. It?s sweet and everyone does look happy and tired in a newborn-just-arrived kind of way. Daniella Varsano is a pretty name. Daniella also fits in well with the Alma/Maya flow (and works with the whole Varsano Sisters Album I?ve created in my head).
I somehow missed that Gal told us she was having another girl in April. When she appeared on Kelly and Ryan, Gal knew Daniella was a she and announced it at that time. She asked Kelly for any advice on having a third and Kelly graciously told her the third would be her easiest because ?it?s like they come out knowing you have your hands full.? That?s nice. Usually people are like, ?it?s chaos! You?ll never know peace!? Kelly waded into that territory later with Gal after Ryan asked what thing Gal intended to do differently with baby #3. Gal said they?d ?messed up? the whole sleep training with Alma so they really wanted to make it a priority with this one. Kelly said people think once a baby sleeps through the night the parents sleep soundly from then on. But the reality is that when the kids grow up, the parents stay up all night worrying about them. I can?t really fault Kelly for this, it?s true. Except I?m sure that won?t happen with Daniella because she?s part of the Varsano Sisters. They sing folk songs when the mood strikes them and protect world peace when not recording.
