Stepping out for a social call, Halle Berry met up with a gal pal in Tinseltown on Monday afternoon (September 15).
The ?Swordfish? starlet showed off her new hair extensions as she and her friend hit up Miele International, a high-end designer store for appliances and furniture.
And despite her new longer tresses, Berry previously told ELLE that she actually prefers her hair to be cropped.
?I love short hair - that?s me, that?s who I am. I just feel confident and feel like my best self when I have short hair. But it?s fun to change sometimes. I get a little bored and, as a woman, I want to change my shoes, my outfit, and my hair. And thanks to extensions, it?s easy to do.?
She added, ?I've had long hair until I was about 18 or 19, when I first started acting. I would go to auditions and see every other girl in the room with long, curly hair -- whether it be natural or weaved in. I remember thinking this isn?t working for me. I have to somehow be different from these girls, so I cut all my hair off. I went to my manager?s office and he almost had a heart attack. He said, ?You?re never going to work. You are no longer commercial.? And I said, ?That?s exactly it. I look like every other girl and they?re never going to notice me.? Two weeks after I did that, I got my first acting job.?

Back in July, we heard that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were expecting their first child. The reports were weird, mostly because Eva has been keeping a very low profile for much of this year, so much so that many outlets claimed that Eva and Ryan were already done. By the time the pregnancy was sort-of confirmed, Eva was allegedly seven months along. Well… it looks like that was about right. She and Ryan have welcomed a baby girl.
Hey girl, indeed! Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcomed a baby girl on Friday, Sept. 12, multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.
Us confirmed in July that Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, were expecting a baby together. At the time, rumors swirled that the Urban Legends actress was already seven months along.
Earlier this year, Mendes laughed off pregnancy rumors during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “It’s so ridiculous,” she said back in February. “It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out.”
Mendes kept a low profile during her pregnancy, making her last red carpet appearance at a Violet Grey dinner honoring the late Elizabeth Taylor in L.A. on Feb. 26. After news broke, she went to considerable lengths to cover up her baby bump with several pieces of clothing and a large bag while leaving a parking structure in L.A. on June 10. Gosling, meanwhile, quietly stepped out to pump his own gas in L.A. on Aug. 5.
Gosling doted on Mendes as the couple prepared for their newborn’s arrival. “Ryan goes out and gets the groceries. [Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he’s cooking her meals,” a source previously told Us. “Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be.”

As for LL?s recent Telegraph interview, where she claimed she ?rolled a body bag for Whitney Houston,? TMZ spoke to the LA Coroner?s Office and guess what? Crack lies.
Lindsay Lohan is lying when she says she had to roll Whitney Houston’s body bag at the L.A. County Morgue … because Whitney was never in a body bag. An official from the Coroner’s Office tells TMZ … Whitney was NEVER in a body bag and no one in the probation program came in contact with Whitney’s body.
Lindsay — who was ordered by a judge to spend time at the morgue to teach her a lesson about drinking and driving — claimed in an interview she was singled out to roll Whitney’s body bag.
Whitney died on Saturday, Feb 11, 2012. The autopsy was performed the next day and her body was gone by morning. No one from any court-ordered probation program came in contact with the body … according to the Coroner’s official.
The official says Whitney was wrapped in plastic with a sheet cover the entire time she was at the morgue. In fact, she was taken out in plastic — not a body bag — from the hotel where she died.

I mean, of course Lindsay is a crack liar and everything that comes out of her mouth is utter nonsense. But if your efforts to refute Lindsay Lohan involve some kind semantic argument about what constitutes a ?body bag? versus a plastic sheet, you need to come up with a better argument. That being said, LL is always full of it. I have no idea what the Speed-the-Plow producers are thinking.

As I mentioned yesterday, Kim Kardashian was riding with Kanye West during his Australian tour dates. She had her own stuff to do, of course ? she made appearances on behalf of her empire, and the impression I?ve gotten from the Australian press is that many Aussies sort of like Kim more than Kanye. Especially after Kanye yelled at some people in wheelchairs. Which is no biggie, because he?s a married Christian man and we all know that being a married Christian man makes one immune from criticism. Anyway, Kim decided to chime in on Wheelchair-Gate 2014. She posted this to her Instagram:

She?s sort of right about Kanye ?never asking anyone in a wheelchair to stand up.? Kanye DEMANDED that everyone in the arena stand and until they stood, he would not perform. He did say that everyone needs to stand unless you?re in a wheelchair, but then he waited specifically on two people, not taking the audience?s word for it that they could NOT stand. It?s like Kim and Kanye would never consider the idea that perhaps he shouldn?t have stopped the entire show because of a couple people who just wanted to enjoy his show without being yelled at for their disability? Still, TMZ has another video from Kanye’s concert and he says he’s not going to apologize because HE is the victim. Of course. And there’s a rant about Matt Lauer too, #NoDisrespectToBenAffleck.
Kim also told Aussie media outlets that she and Kanye are ?trying? to conceive a second baby as we speak and ?I guess it?s, like, all in God?s hands.? YES! So it?s possible Kim and Duchess Kate could be pregnancy twinsies again!!!!

Jennifer Garner covers October’s InStyle, and I’m pretty sure she’s wearing all Burberry Prosum. I’ve seen that gorgeous wrap, which can be personalized and retails for $1,895, on Olivia Palermo and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. I think she’s wearing this silk dress accessorized with this belt and scarf. That outfit is worth more than my car and it’s gorgeous.
Inside, Garner gets somewhat candid, judging from the quotes that have been released so far. She talks about her marriage of nine years and how it’s been a whirlwind of babies and responsibility from the get-go. (At least that’s what I read into it.) She also discusses the parental roles in her marriage, and how her husband Ben is the fun one.
On her marriage
“You can’t expect to be courted all the time, and I don’t want to court him right now ? I don’t have the energy!” Jennifer Garner says of husband Ben Affleck in InStyle magazine’s October cover story.

On making time for each other
“When we had our first [child] we had only been together a year. We were babies. It happened so fast, I hardly remember what we were like before the kids got here,” says Garner, 42, of Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and Samuel, 2. “Now we’re just starting to go away for a night here and there.”
On their different roles as parents
“I know who wants what lunch, and I’ve done all the school paperwork and filled out the emergency cards. Ben doesn’t know that stuff exists,” says Garner.
“He is in charge of laughter. No matter how much I tickle them or toss them or chase them around, it’s not the same. If I’m the slow, steady drumbeat, he’s the jazz.”

Affleck has pretty much said the same thing about his parenting style in earlier interviews. He’s said that he finds downtime with the kids hard, that he doesn’t want to be a stay-at-home dad and that his wife is a “saint and does so much of the work [parenting] because I?m inept and she?s a genius.” I don’t know, I don’t think it’s fair for one parent to have all the responsibility while the other one swoops in to play with the kids. These two have day nannies, it’s not like Garner is shouldering all the responsibility. It would be nice for Ben to help out somewhat and try to understand what it involves, though.

He?s a man of the world and Orlando Bloom showed up on an arriving flight at LAX International Airport on Monday (September 15).
The ?Pirates of the Caribbean? star looked to be in great spirits as he scurried off the plane and greeted fans and shutterbugs before hopping into a chauffeured car and speeding off.
Orlando is the new global ambassador for British Airways, and he recently shared his top tips for avoiding jet lag while traveling abroad.
Mr. Bloom suggests:
1. Adjust your sleep to the time zone you?re entering.
2. When travelling with the little ones, bring lots of entertainment. When I?m with my son [Flynn, 3], I have books and games which we play until he falls asleep.
3. Avoid alcohol
4. Drink lots of water to help to keep hydrated
5. Wear comfortable clothes when you fly- my preference is T-shirt and jeans.
6. Take time to enjoy the flight ? read a good book, watch a film, catch up on emails and sleep
7. Eat well. When it comes to meals, there?s always a fantastic choice on British Airways.

Back in August, Katie Price welcomed her fifth child, a baby girl. We knew at the time that the baby had arrived early, and sources said the girl came two weeks premature. Now Katie says that the baby was born SIX weeks early. And it?s taken a month of Katie and her on-again husband Kieran Hayler to come up with a name for the little girl: Bunny. Her name is Bunny Hayler. Bunny?s older siblings have names like Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther, Jett Riviera, Junior Savva Andreas Andre and Harvey Price. So, really? Bunny kind of got off easy. Katie debuted the baby on the new cover of OK Mag UK, and here are some highlights from the cover story:
It has taken Katie Price more than a month to decide on a name for her newborn daughter – her second child with husband Kieran Hayler – who she has called Bunny. Up until now the reality star has struggled to name her fifth child after giving birth to the newest member of the family on August 4. The 36-year-old revealed the exciting news to OK! magazine, out Tuesday, while posing with her little ‘miracle’, who was born six weeks early.
According to the mother-of-five, Lady, Disney, Precious, Bambi and Peggy were all in the running, before the couple settled on Bunny, OK! magazine stated. Katie already has a daughter called Princess Tiaamii with former husband Peter Andre, as well as sons Harvey, Junior and Jett.
‘We really struggled to decide on a name. I wanted to call her Duchess Kate or just Duchess, but Kieran didn’t like that, so we’ve chosen Bunny, which we both like’, the star told OK!. ‘It’s really cute, isn’t it? I considered it being spelt Bunni with a heart above the i, but I don’t think that’s really a part of the English language. I love Duchess Kate, though, so I’ve told Kieran that if we have another daughter that will be her name! I think it goes well with Princess. She would have been Duchess Kate of Brighton’, she added.
Last week, Katie wrote in her Now magazine column that she was suffering serious baby name block and felt pressure to match it up with her seven-year-old daughter’s name.
‘It’s so difficult to choose a name as I set my standards with Princess,’ she explained.

It would have been AWESOME if Katie Price had named her daughter Duchess Kate Hayler. That would have been amaze-balls. As for the tackiness of the name given to this innocent child? well, it?s fine. I mean, what can you do? It?s not even that bad, honestly. Lots of society women, past and present, have been nicknamed ?Bunny?. Of course, they have proper names but everyone knows them as ?Bunny.? So it?s not so bad.

She and Jose Antonio showed PDA when they popped up on the beach to hang out with tennis champ Serena Williams. The two female stars greeted each other on the sand and then lounged together under an umbrella. Serena wasn’t the only star Eva met up with during her Miami trip, as she also shared a fun snap of herself hanging out with Gloria Estefan and her family.

Taking full advantage of her time in Australia, Kim Kardashian got up close and personal with an adorable Koala in Queensland on Monday (September 15).
Joined by husband Kanye West and daughter North West, the ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? star made sure to snap up plenty of selfies, including one with a Koala.
Kim posted the image to Instagram along with the caption, ?Thank you @AustraliaZoo for having us today. So many good memories #AustraliaZoo.?
An eyewitness explained that Kim and Kanye scored a ?private visit? at the zoo, including some behind-the-scenes privileges that are unavailable to the average customer.
?It was pretty exciting [to see them], it seemed like they were having a great time. They were on a private tour of the different enclosures - there were lots of sections cornered off and they had a huge entourage. At one point Kim got up to pat a Cheetah, but Kanye stayed with North as they don't let children near the big cats. They seemed like a tight loving family.?
