This might seem like a tremendous reach by Tatler, but I actually think they have a point. Tatler wondered if the Princess of Wales has changed up her ?signature color.? For years, Kate has tried to make various shades of blue her ?signature.? She must own about 200 blue coats and 300 blue dresses. There was even talk that Kate and William thought blue was ?theirs? while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex embraced shades of green. There have also been many stories about Queen Camilla and how she believes HER signature color is blue, and how she will often demand that Kate and Sophie should avoid wearing blue around her. Because all of these royal women have too much time on their hands and too little sense. Well, Tatler is now pointing out that Kate seems to ditched the blue and now she?s trying to make red her signature color.
The Princess of Wales may be slowly returning to royal duties, but it seems Kate Middleton has taken a liking to a certain shade of red for her public engagements. While the late Queen was known for her love of rainbow colours, carefully selecting a spectrum of tones for her outfits over the years, since her death, the senior royals appear to have taken a different tack.
The Princess of Wales has taken to wearing a whole host of tonal reds over the last few years, with a seemingly particular preference for a vibrant scarlet tone. Stepping out for the Commonwealth Day Service, Kate opted for a red Catherine Walker design which she paired with matching accessories, including a Gina Foster hat and Miu Miu Clutch. Days earlier, the mother-of-three opted to wear a coat by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to visit Wales, which she had last worn mere weeks before to attend her Together at Christmas carol concert.
Kate Middleton has also worn the colour for other significant royal engagements over the past few years, including for an appearance at the Royal Ascot in 2023. She opted for the bright tone when she attended a ceremonial welcome at Horse Guards Parade, for the President and the First Lady of the Republic of Korea. That same year, she wore a coat in the same vibrant hue to visit the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards on St Davids Day Parade, and to attend a pre-campaign launch event, hosted by The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, at BAFTA.

Now that I?m thinking about it and going through the photos? it absolutely looks like Kate has made an effort to not wear a lot of blue in recent years, and she?s been wearing red, burgundy or muddled brown/wine colors a lot. I actually think burgundy and darker shades of blue-reds suit Kate and I?ve always wished she would lean into that. Her ?signature blue? did nothing for her coloring, but I have to say? the scarlet red doesn?t do much for her either. Camilla has the same problem she wants to wear all of these bold, vibrant colors, but she looks better in pastels, light greens and silvers.

If you ask me, Gwen Stefani has always been more of a small-c conservative than her fans were willing to acknowledge. She?s a devout Catholic who tried for years to get her first marriage annulled, and she ended up married to a country singer from Oklahoma who loves to drink. Over the years, she?s revealed enough to convince me that she holds very socially-conservative opinions in her private life. That being said, Gwen has always been a Democrat she?s hosted fundraisers for Democrats and she was especially politically active for Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Well, the conversations about Gwen?s politics have begun anew because she?s promoting some Evangelical huckster who is associated with Tucker Carlson? Ugh.
Gwen Stefani sent her die-hard fans spiraling thanks to a social media post that proved, in their eyes, that she was ?officially lost? to President Donald Trump?s MAGA movement. Stefani praised actor Jonathan Roumie as a ?powerful inspirational human? in an X post last week, while gushing over his interview with far-right commentator Tucker Carlson.
?What an enlightening intelligent beautiful interview thank you for being you gx,? wrote Stefani, 55, of Roumie. Roumie, who portrays Jesus in the evangelist TV series The Chosen, spent the conversation peddling the power of prayer and fasting as part of his pitch for the ?Christian and Catholic? prayer and meditation app, Hallow.
Stefani, a devout Catholic who has made several pious posts in partnership with Hallow, appeared to be holding up her end of the deal by backing Roumie. Actors Mark Wahlberg, another devout Catholic, and Chris Pratt, who compared himself to Jesus, are also involved with the company.
The app costs $70 per year with a premium subscription. And as much as many were surprised by Stefani?s involvement with Hallow, many others weren?t.
?Gwen as a long time fan you?re making it harder and harder to keep supporting you please don?t platform Tucker Carlson the Russian propagandist good lord,? wrote one X user in response to her praise for Roumie and Carlson?s chat. Another commentator added, ?You honestly need a reality check God this is heartbreaking.?

My guess is that Gwen is coming at this through religion, not politics, although most people don?t have the privilege of separating the two. As in, Gwen thinks she?s supporting Hallow and the people involved with Hallow, but she was literally promoting and platforming something involving Tucker Carlson, who was too much of a whackjob for FOX NEWS. So no, I don?t think Gwen is MAGA. I think she?s not doing enough research and due diligence on the people and companies she partners with. Oh, and she followed some really tragic people on social media too, but when people pointed it out, she unfollowed them. Maybe there?s some hope?

One of the things I learned from watching With Love, Meghan was that people can mix their own bath salts. It honestly never occurred to me, that you could use epsom salts as a base and mix in essential oils to create custom bath salts for yourself or your guests. Well, the Skincare/Bath Salt community is apparently up in rashy arms about Meghan?s DIY project, which was part of the first episode of WLM. Apparently, Meghan should have measured the arnica oil and lavender oil she used, and she should have added something else to stabilize the mixture? or something. Honestly, I?m not a dermatologist or a bath salt expert. But the Mail contacted several YouTubers (?) and they?ve all come to the conclusion that Meghan?s bath salt controversy will bring down the monarchy AND that this is the smoking gun to prove that Meghan doesn?t know what she?s doing about ANYTHING!
While many critics mock the inauthenticity of the duchess show, With Love, Meghan, some have found more serious fault with a potentially harmful do-it-yourself project. Herbalists and skin care specialists are red-flagging Markles bath salt mixture, which they fear may damage and even burn users skin.
Dont try this at home! warned Jennifer Christopherson, a longtime esthetician and YouTuber who produced a video warning about Markles concoction. I dont even know if she really knows what shes doing, she said.
The mixture of Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, arnica oil and lavender oil looks harmless enough. But the wanna-be princess turned wanna-be domestic diva fails to measure the ingredients, prompting one of her crew members to ask from off-camera, Is there a certain amount of salt that Im dealing with here? Markle doesnt concern herself with specifics, saying only Quite a bit because she is clearly winging the recipe.
I am not modest when it comes to the amount of salt I put in the bath, she tells him, looking a bit irked by his emphasis on measurements. As it turns out, her mixture doesnt come close to filling the jar she planned to put it in. Lets bulk this up, she says, hurriedly adding several more scoops of Epsom salt to cover up for her miscalculation. She tops the jar with a dried lavender and rosebud-filled sachet, which she calls a tea bag for the bath.
Instead of comfort, however, many plant extractors and skin care experts are warning that Markles bath salt mixture may cause rashes, hives or even burns to the skin because she failed to add a so-called carrier oil to ease the potentially volatile effects of arnica and lavender oils. Carrier oils such as those pressed from jojoba, coconut, almond, primrose or grapeseed dilute the plant compounds in essential oils, easing potentially irritating effects on the skin. Sellers of essential oils insist that those being used topically must be mixed with carrier oils in ratios of at least eight to one. Yet Markle seemed to use no carrier oil at all when drizzling her salt mixture with three drops of lavender, plus at least two full eye droppers ? known as pipettes ? of arnica oil.
Christopherson described that amount of undiluted arnica as a crap ton.
So thats why I was just absolutely cringing when I was watching that, she said, noting in her 18-minute video that essential oils are unregulated substances that, if overused, can irritate skin. You cant just dump an essential oil in, give (it) to a friend and be, like, hey, have fun, Christopherson said.

A friend gifted me some facial ?recovery oils? last Christmas and I tried one and I felt like a greasy mess and I haven?t touched the stuff ever again. I have sensitive skin I break out in a rash just looking at poison ivy, and when I find a soap or lotion which doesn?t irritate my skin, I tend to just use that brand forever. I guess my point is that people know their own skin?s sensitivities and most people with sensitive skin aren?t going to try some homemade bath salts anyway. Meghan wasn?t telling people: this is the exact way to make DIY bath salts. She was offering an idea for gifts you can give your guests. It?s funny though, that the Mail is now clinging to this one thing as definitive ?proof? of Meghan?s ?inauthenticity.? They are Bath Salt Truthers! It reminds me of the Obama administration, and whenever Pres. Obama made one small mistake or misspoke in some minor way, people were screaming ?IMPEACH!? It really is the same with Meghan she throws together some bath salts without measuring and the Mail is like ?NETFLIX NEEDS TO CANCEL HER SHOW.?

Last December, there was a wealth of reporting mostly tabloid reporting about Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ines de Ramon, divorce, money and the six kids who want nothing to do with Pitt. Some of Jolie?s fans thought that Pitt was organizing certain stories as a way to derail Angelina?s Oscar campaign. I thought there was something to that theory, although I also think that Hollywood was probably always going to ignore Jolie?s performance in Maria anyway, especially after Netflix stopped putting money into her campaign. Anyway, just days after Christmas, Angelina and Brad managed to finalize their divorce after eight-plus years. Pitt has been pretty quiet since then (other than this notable story). Now that the awards season is over, it?s time for Pitt to get back on track with his regular programming: reminding everyone that he has a girlfriend and that he and Ines are ?happy.?
Brad Pitt is looking ahead after his divorce from Angelina Jolie was finalized, a source tells PEOPLE. The F1 actor, 61, and the Maria star, 49, reached a divorce settlement in December 2024 after an eight-year legal battle.
Brad Pitt is happy that the divorce is behind him, a source tells PEOPLE on Wednesday, March 12. Things are low-key for the family.
The insider adds that Pitt is happy in his relationship with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, whom he has been dating since late 2022.

More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.

This reads like filler, but I guess this is probably the start of Brad?s ?promotion? for this long-gestating F1 film. He was filming that back in 2023, during the writers? strike and the actors? strike, and they were still filming it as late as December 2024 (which is insane, to have what amounts to an 18-month-long production). I don?t know obviously, this film is not for me, but it feels like they just spent a lot of time, money and effort on a film which is probably going to be a huge bomb? Maybe there will be a market for it. As for Brad?s happiness with Ines?I guess they?re about to ramp up their photo-ops?

No other Netflix show gets breathless ratings reporting other than whatever the Duke and Duchess of Sussex produce. Recently, I binge-watched the docuseries Court of Gold on Netflix, and I?m sure it made Netflix?s top-ten, but I didn?t see much chatter about the ratings or how many hours people watched or whatever. There?s only this kind of fevered mainstream reporting when it involves the Duchess of Sussex specifically. Well, in any case, With Love, Meghan is a hit. It?s a hit globally, its a hit in America and an even bigger hit in the UK. LMAO.
Meghan Markles lifestyle series With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix last week, and the viewership numbers are in.
As of March 12, the Duchess of Sussexs show ranked tenth on Netflixs global Top 10 Shows Overview list. According to the streamer, With Love, Meghan has amassed 2.6 million views and 12.6 million hours watched since its debut on Tuesday, March 4.
More specifically, With Love, Meghan ranks seventh on Netflixs Top 10 Shows chart in the United Kingdom and tenth on the platform?s Top 10 list in the United States.
Season two of With Love, Meghan has already been filmed and will hit Netflix queues this fall. Michael Steed returned as director for the second season, as the first season of the Duchess of Sussex?s show premiered at number six on Netflix?s U.S. Top 10.
Meghan, 43, is in good company on the charts as her friend and With Love guest Mindy Kaling also has something to celebrate. Kalings basketball comedy Running Point, starring Kate Hudson, is ranked number one on both the global and U.S. lists. The series premiered on Feb. 27 and imagines Hudson as an overlooked executive whos unexpectedly named president of her familys sports franchise.

I?m so happy for Mindy that she has another hit show with Running Point Mindy has turned into one of THE top television showrunners/writers/producers out there. As for WLM? making the Netflix Global Top Ten is no joke. Being one of the top-ten most-watched shows in the UK and US is no small thing, especially for cooking/lifestyle programming. I?ve said from the start that Netflix would have supported WLM even if the viewership was initially low, just because WLM is so inexpensive to produce. But now it?s inexpensive to produce AND it?s a hit show? LOL.
In case you?re wondering, the 2022 Harry & Meghan docuseries made it into Netflix?s top-three (I believe it topped out at #2, behind Wednesday) within days of its release, and people watched 81.6 million hours in three days. Tom Sykes at the Daily Beast is gloating about how WLM ?barely? made it into the top-ten, but this is looking like long-delayed justice for the success of the H&M series, after the British media spent years mocking that series as nothing special. Like, wow, people really watched the fk out of the 2022 series, huh? It will be the same for WLM long-term people will keep coming back to WLM to chill out, and there will be word-of-mouth viewers too, especially among the mom-set.

That insider added that Affleck usually acts happy around Garner, who is currently dating John Miller, and said, She doesnt seem to mind. For years, Prince William was actually the honorary patron of the Irish Guards, but it was always expected that his wife would turn up on St. Patrick?s Day. It?s the tradition for the Irish Guards, to have a female royal come to their barracks every March 17th to pass out shamrocks to the guards and pin shamrocks on their Irish Wolfhound. In 2023, William had to step back from the Irish Guards patronage he was given his father?s old Welsh Guards patronage, because he cannot have both apparently and so that was when Kate was officially made the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards. Her first St. Patrick?s Day as the stand-alone honorary colonel was last year, and she did not show up. Obviously, she was ill and in hiding. But she will make her grand return on Monday. No mention if William will join her.
Kate Middleton is set to toast with a pint of Guinness this St. Patricks Day! On March 11, Kensington Palace confirmed that the Princess of Wales will visit the Irish Guards at the St. Patricks Day parade in Wellington Barracks on the holiday. Kate, 43, was named the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022 but was a regular at the annual March 17 event even before that, often accompanying her husband, Prince William, who held the position before her.
Mondays appearance will mark a return to the event for Princess Kate, who missed last years parade amid her health battles. The royal was recovering from a January 2024 abdominal surgery, and she revealed later in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
The Irish Guards kept the Princess of Wales in their thoughts, giving her three cheers at the end of their celebratory parade.
At Mondays parade, Princess Kate will take part in various traditions. Shell award long service and good conduct medals to soldiers within the regiment before joining the parade to present sprigs of shamrock to the officers and guardsmen. Their Irish Wolf Hound regimental mascot also usually receives some shamrocks as well as a sweet pat from the royal. The parade will conclude with a royal salute and march past where Kate will take the salute as colonel.

I?ve always wondered why Kate didn?t embrace this more, or take on more military patronages before she was forced to when QEII died. It?s a pretty easy gig for a female royal stand around in a dress or some kind of military cosplay and flirt with men in uniform. Diana used to love all of her military patronages, but she had a thing for men in uniform. Anyway, I hope Kate has a good time. They?ll expect her to have a pint of Guinness too.

Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, married his wife Olivia last year, in what was called (by the British press) the ?wedding of the year,? if not the wedding of the decade. They hyped the wedding so much, I was really expecting something very grand. It? did not turn out that way. Hugh and Olivia got married at a local Chester cathedral, and the wedding planners (??) decided to lay down beige-carpeted plywood as a sort of ?platform? for the wedding party. The whole thing looked extremely budget. I wasn?t a fan of Olivia?s bridal look either, but others thought she looked nice. Part of the reason why the British press hyped the wedding so much was because Prince William wanted everyone to know that Hugh invited him and NOT HARRY. As it turned out, Hugh did invite Harry, and Harry declined the invitation.
Another reason why the Grosvenor/Westminster wedding was so hyped was because the family is stinking rich. The Grosvenors own a wide swath of prime London real estate and a grand country estate (which basically supports a whole county). When Hugh and Olivia married, they promised to recommit themselves to the country estate and start a family. Well, not even one year later and Olivia is expecting!
Congratulations are in order for the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, Hugh and Olivia Grosvenor, who are expecting their first child.
A spokesperson for the couple said in a statement released on March 12: The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are very pleased to share that the Duchess is expecting a baby in the summer. The couple are delighted with the news and are very much looking forward to starting a family together.
The child has some royal ties even before its birth, as Hugh is close friends with Prince William and Prince Harry. The Duke of Westminster is also a godfather to both of their first sons: Prince George and Prince Archie.
The Duke and Duchess tied the knot on June 7, 2024, with Prince William serving as an Usher for the ceremony at Chester Cathedral. Princess Eugenie was also a guest at the high society wedding. While Prince Harry declined an invitation to the wedding, a source told PEOPLE at the time that his absence from Hughs wedding was an understanding between the two friends.
Hugh and Olivia met through friends, and he proposed to her at Eaton Hall, his familys ancestral seat on the outskirts of Chester. The couple gave back to his hometown before their big day, visiting the childrens programs that the Westminster Foundation puts on at Chester Castle.
Hughs ties to the royal family trace back generations. He is a godson of King Charles and his mother, Natalia, is a godmother to Prince William.

They honestly seem like a pretty lowkey couple when I wrote about them last year, I could not find any photos of them attending society events or even charity fundraisers. It?s a different thing when you?re British and you inherit that kind of money, I guess. Which is why it was so tacky that William was briefing about Hugh?s wedding to the Times of London Hugh and Olivia clearly wanted no part of William?s childishness and look-at-me-Harry antics. Whenever this child is born, I predict that William will go on another briefing spree about how Hugh asked him AND NOT HARRY to be the godfather to this next-gen Grosvenor.

Obviously, people are still talking about the Duchess of Sussex and her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. Bitter people have thoughts, Daily Mail columnists have thoughts, random comedians have thoughts, British chefs have thoughts, trade paper ?critics? have thoughts and on and on. Who would have thought that a gentle little food/lifestyle show would become one of the biggest cultural conversations of the year?
One big discourse from WLM is about Meghan?s name. There?s a scene in the Mindy Kaling episode where Mindy called her ?Meghan Markle? and Meghan corrects her, saying ?I?m Sussex now.? You would have thought Meghan slapped QEII?s surviving corgi, the ink that?s been spilled over analyzing that one brief moment. Meghan was ?rude? to Mindy (nope), Meghan was wrong to use her title as a surname (nope), Meghan is breaking every royal protocol out there (lol). Well, Vogue and USA Today have already run ?explainers? for the ?Meghan Sussex? controversy, but I wasn?t expecting the gdamn New York Times to join in with their own piece: ?Wait, What Is Meghan?s Last Name?
