Getting ready to take the stage once again, Kristen Bell chatted about her hosting gig for tonight's (June 4) 2014 CMT Music Awards.
Tending to press duties in Nashville, TN, the "Frozen" star said that emceeing the live event is ?not be the hardest job in America.?
Miss Bell previously hosted with Toby Keith and Jason Aldean, and is going solo tonight. During her chat, Kristen talked about her duties and said, "In truth what I do during the show is change into a variety of fancy outfits and read a Teleprompter.?
Bell further discussed her love for country music and explained, "I think it's the most melodic of all the genres and they are easy songs to memorize 'cause they are telling a story, and as a storyteller I gravitate toward that."

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in LA yesterday, having lunch with her mom. Are we seeing Kim?s ?married style? now? Now that she?s married, she?s going to be more covered-up and conservative? Because I will be sad if that?s true. One of my few pleasures in life is seeing what bizarre and unflattering ?sexy? clothes Kim tries to pull off. I won?t know what to do with myself if she?s trying to do ?prairie chic? or whatever this is. Amish chic?
And here?s where Kim is consistent ? she really never understood how to dress her body. Ever. This dress might have looked like chic 1970s wallpaper on someone built like Keira Knightley, you know, straight up and down, slender with small boobs. But on Kim, it looks like a tent. It would look like a tent on me as well. Girls with curves learn early on not to wear this kind of excessively fabric-y dresses. These dresses make us look shorter, squatter and bulkier. Plus, Kim tried to pour herself into this piece ? look how her boobs are jammed in there. Never a good look.
One more thing, and this link is kind of NSFW. Kanye West apparently gave Kim a wedding gift. That gift? A portrait of herself done by London artist Bambi ? it?s a portrait of Kim naked except for a g-string, looking over her shoulder. You can see it here. It doesn?t even look like Kim.

Here are some photos from the one-year anniversary event at the NYC Gucci store for ?Chime For Change.? Chime for Change is a charity that promotes women?s advocacy (in economic and political terms) in developing countries. Gucci?s in-house model Blake Lively was there, as were Beyonce and Solange Knowles. The other blonde woman in these photos is Frida Giannini. I?m guessing Beyonce and Blake are tight these days? Blake appeared in Beyonce and Jay-Z’s silly ?Run? trailer for their tour too, and Blake managed to make Beyonce look like Meryl Streep.
Blake wore this Gucci Fall 2014 dress which? eh. I actually don?t have a problem with the color ? I like a blonde in yellow, usually the effect is rather ?sunny.? I do have a problem with this 60s ?mod? design on Blake?s body though. She has an incredible body, but this dress makes her look like she has WAG-style breast implants, hard and high. While I do think Blake has a boob job, please give her some credit ? her boob job is excellent. They don?t look this Barbie-ish usually.
As for Solange and Beyonce and all of that? I have no idea. My theory is that Solange sort of loves all of the attention she?s gotten from The Elevator Footage. She seems incredibly smug these days.

These are photos of Cameron Diaz not-so-subtly flipping the bird outside her gym last weekend. She veers so often between gregarious and rude with paps, but she was probably makeup free and didn’t want her photo taken. I covered a story a few weeks ago about how Cameron was probably dating Benji Madden. He’s Joel’s twin brother, and they’re both members of Good Charlotte. They also just formed a new band called the Madden Brothers. Joel is married to Nicole Richie, and Cam’s tight with Nic. It makes sense that Cam and Benji would eventually hookup.
Now E! has photo proof of the two new lovers holding hands on a coffee date. A source says, “They seemed relaxed and looked like a happy new couple. You can see the pictures here. What do you think? The bitchy part of me thinks Cameron’s face is like, “He’ll do for now.” That’s a shame because Benji has a reputation of being a super nice guy. He did dodge questions of his new new romance during a Ryan Seacrest interview. I think he’s a keeper even though, physically, I still can’t tell him apart from Joel. It’s true — Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are dating, or at least locking lips.
Reports that the two were an item surfaced in recent weeks when they were photographed together at a Los Angeles gym and Madden stayed mum on the romance when asked by an Australian radio show, but Star Magazine confirmed the pair is together with exclusive photos of the duo smooching over the weekend.
“Throughout the entire meal, Cameron and Benji couldn?t keep their hands off each other,” an eyewitness who spotted the A-list actress and Good Charlotte rocker having breakfast at Manhattan?s ABC Kitchen on Sunday. “They were whispering to each other and laughing, just having the best time together.”
According to Star, Diaz, 41, and Madden, 35, were with a group of six people but appeared to be in their own world together.
“Everyone else at the table was talking and catching up, but Benji and Cameron were completely removed from the conversation. They were totally consumed with each other,” the source said. “Benji kept his arm around her, and she?d just rest her head on his shoulder and stare at him, grinning. It was obvious that she?s crazy about him.”
Madden?s brother, Joel, is married to Nicole Richie who is said to have set him up with Diaz. “I wouldn?t be surprised is they are together for a very, very long time,” the source added.

I don’t know. This story paints a picture of Cameron being completely into Benji, but my instincts are that Cameron is gonna break Benji’s heart. Then Nicole will get mad at Cameron, and there will be all sorts of girl drama in the tabloids.

It will never NOT be weird to me that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have the most stable relationship of all the Kardashian sisters. Scott and Kourtney have been together for? how long? Scott managed to change from a self-absorbed douchebag to a slightly less self-absorbed douchebag who loves his children. And now he?s going to have one more kid to love: Kourtney Kardashian is knocked up again.
Thrice as nice! A little less than two years after welcoming daughter Penelope with longtime love Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again and expecting baby No. 3, multiple sources reveal exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“She is only a few months along,” one insider tells Us of the third-time mom-to-be, 35, who nonetheless has a pregnancy glow already. Says a guest at the Trump SoHo hotel, where the star stayed after returning to New York City from sister Kim’s European wedding week in late May: “Kourtney looked really pretty. She had a nice flush on her cheeks.” (Another telltale sign? During a double date with Disick, sister Khloe, and rapper French Montana in NYC, Kardashian abstained from drinking wine and sipped ginger ale instead.)
“It was planned,” a source tells Us of the new addition, who will join older brother Mason, 4, and sister Penelope, 23 months. “[Kourtney] wants to have a handful of kids.”
Indeed, Kim and Khloe’s older sister joked on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians back in 2012 that she was done with birth control. “I need to see what it’s like when I have two, but [having kids] is what life is about,” she said at the time. “I’m not going on the pill. I don’t believe in it anymore!”
The couple will welcome their new little son or daughter in December, a third insider confirms to Us. “They don’t know the gender yet,” the source says. “They just want the baby to be healthy.”

My mom pays attention to the Kardashian sisters, and she tells me that Kourtney practices attachment parenting and that Penelope and Mason sleep with her more often than not. And I guess Scott sleeps in a separate bed or bedroom? Something like that. Apparently, Scott and Kourtney have had fights on camera, on the reality show, about whether to have more children. Apparently, Kourtney didn?t tell him, pre-Penelope, that she wanted more kids and that she wanted him to keep impregnating her. I guess Scott got with the program. Anyway, I?m not too worried. Kourtney seems like a good mother (she way more present in her kids? lives than Kim is in Nori?s) and Scott seems to enjoy his kids immensely. Congrats, Lord and Lady Disick.

Miranda looks great, she looks much different after her weight loss and she’s showing it off without resorting to lingerie or cutoffs so tiny we can see her butt cheeks. So far all Rolling Stone has released is a brief excerpt from their article, in which Miranda gushes about Beyonce and Blake Shelton confirms his wife’s bar fight with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback. This is Miranda and Blake’s default response to gossip about trouble in their marriage: they focus on the most ridiculous aspects of the coverage. Maybe that’s their way of dealing with it, just joking about it, and it helps them put it in perspective. To me it means they’re not denying it directly, but that’s not their style I guess.
Miranda also covers the June/July issue of Cowgirl magazine, which I’ve never heard of until I went into a Tractor Supply store yesterday to look for bird houses. She’s promoting her new album, Platinum, which came out yesterday and is getting positive reviews. They have a new interview with Miranda and she gives some personal information but it’s not highly quotable. Miranda says that her “perfect girlfriend getaway” is “a weekend at the Kentucky Derby,” and that on the weekends at home she loves “playing with my dogs, riding my horse, cooking and hanging out with my family and watching TV.” She loves “being outdoors and connecting with my animals.” She loves hunting too, and not just for meat. A few weeks ago, Lily Allen participated in a Reddit AMA. The AMA was full of arse-kissing, which I?m sure pleased Lily to no end. That?s the whole reason she ?returned? to the music industry ? she?s a drama queen, she loves free crap, she loves trash-talking other celebrities, she loves to be the center of attention, and she?ll go to the opening of an envelope. Anyway, during the AMA, Lily was asked about her brother, Alfie Allen, and his part as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. This is what Lily wrote:

Lily: Well, that was about a 5 year disparity between the two! She?s wearing Gucci on the cover, and in the editorial, she wears Saint Laurent, D&G and MiuMiu. In the interview, she talks about her new movie, Begin Again (that?s the one with Mark Ruffalo) and she touches on The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch a little bit. Some highlights:
She doesn?t want her future daughter to be a child actress: ?Oh, 100%, I?d absolutely tell her not to. I would 150 million trillion per cent be totally discouraging. Johnny’s costume jeans don’t come with the official Wrangler tag, but they’re pretty close to the smooshed-booty look that I see so often in my native Oklahoma. Johnny is shooting in Boston, but that locale doesn’t rule out Wranglers.
A new story in this week’s issue of Grazia (via the Mail) says that Amber and Johnny are completely enamored and preparing to marry this fall. Grazia isn’t the most reliable source, but they quote Amber’s dad, David Heard. David and Johnny are super tight for one big reason — Johnny believes that David is “the closest thing to Hunter S. Thompson that I’ve ever met.” That pretty much guarantees credibility of these quotes from Amber’s dad:
After recent reports suggested Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were expecting their first child together, the actress’ father has said the couple will wait till after they’re married… which isn’t likely to be too far away.
The 28-year-old and her Hollywood actor beau, who got engaged at Christmas, are planning to wed in the autumn according to her dad David, Grazia reports.
“There is a right way to do things and she and Johnny are the type of people that do it right. We will have grandchildren, but after the wedding,” he told the magazine from his Los Angeles home. “They are both so busy right now, both doing films, so they have no date but it will be sooner rather than later. Probably this Fall.”
He went on to say that it was Johnny, 50, who was keen to marry Amber, after previously splitting from his ex Vanessa Paradis in 2012. “It’s the time in Johnny’s life where he is thinking he can spend more time with the kids,” David added.

One variable is left: Did Amber make this sh-t up and feed it to her dad like she does when she tests her friends? I doubt it. Amber is a proud daddy’s girl. He wouldn’t talk without her permission either. We’ve already heard from Johnny that he wants to make 100 babies with Amber. Enjoy that visual.
One minor sidenote: George Jung was released from prison on Tuesday. He served almost 20 years for his role in pioneering the US cocaine trade. Johnny played Jung in Blow and visited him in prison to research his role. That’s not too important, but I found it interesting — especially since Johnny’s playing another bad guy now.

I?m not completely heartless, you know. I am cynical, but there are moments when I look at celebrity couples on the verge of splitting and think, ?Oh, come on. You could make it work! TRY HARDER.? Like, I was actually sort of happy for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas when they seemed to work through their rough patch/separation, and they seem to have reconciled for the most part. Theirs was a marriage worth saving, for their children, for their shared history, for themselves.
But I don?t understand Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart ? how is their relationship ?worth saving?? What is keeping them together other than ?she has money and he gets an allowance?? For Jennifer, I think she?s just sticking with the relationship to save face. Like, she doesn?t want to admit to herself or the world that she?s been dating a huge loser for more than two years. But following the revelations about Casper?s ongoing affairs/sexting relationships with two transsexuals, Jennifer might have to finally (at long f?king last) pull the plug on this huge mistake.
A few months ago, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart “hit a rough patch,” a friend says, but the singer has been trying to be supportive of him and work through their issues.
“Now,” notes the friend, “all this stuff comes out about sexting. They’re still together, technically, but no idea for how long.”
Internet reports claim that Smart, 27, a former backup dancer for Lopez and now a choreographer, has sent Instagram photos and steamy messages to somebody else. (Reps for both have not commented.)
“There were issues that pre-date these new reports,” says another source, who adds that Lopez’s mind is currently on things that go beyond rumors over her and Smart’s romance.
“She has a really busy three weeks and doesn’t have time to deal with this,” the source adds. “And she’s on the East Coast and he’s working on the West Coast.”
Indeed, Lopez, 44, is trying to stay positive and focus on work. She’s in New York for her State Farm Neighborhood Sessions concert on June 4 in the Bronx.
“She is excited about where her life is right now,” says the friend. “Her new single (“First Love”) is on fire, and her album is about to drop, and she has movies, and hit TV shows (The Fosters) that she?s producing. She couldn’t be in better shape professionally. Personally, it?s a bit more tricky.
How tricky? A second source says, “Put it this way, they were having problems before the sexting. You do the math.”

Why all the drama? Why all the build-up? Why is Jennifer?s manager (this sounds like her manager Benny Medina) dropping these quotes to People Mag? Why not just do a clean and efficient break up, for the love of God? Dear Jennifer: this relationship is not worth saving. It?s just not. Stop with the drama and just dump him.

The weather is getting warmer as of late, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley set out to find some new summer threads on Monday (June 2).
The ?Transformers: Dark of the Moon? starlet headed over to West Hollywood where she browsed the wares at several boutiques while shutterbugs looked on.
And of course, Rosie wore a fabulous ensemble including a white peasant top with printed trousers, nude heels and a white Dolce & Gabbana bag.
Meanwhile, Ms. Huntington-Whiteley recently visited the slums of Cambodia as part of her work with UNICEF.
She told Vogue, "The slums around Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh, are crammed with children running around without shoes. They live in the most basic conditions, surrounded by dirt, rubbish and sewage in searing 37 degree heat. There's limited access to clean water, medicine and food. Every day is about survival for these children. It was shocking and sad to see.?
?In one slum I met a mum whose story really touched my heart. Sareth, aged 42, told me how during the rainy season last year, the river that they live next to flooded their home with unclean water and sewage. She was powerless to stop her baby daughter, just six months old, from getting diarrhea and tragically dying.?
Rosie continued, ?Losing your precious baby girl is no less painful when you live in a slum than if you live in a big city like London or Los Angeles. A mother's broken heart is a mother's broken heart. And Sareth was so clearly heartbroken. Shockingly every single day, around 50 children under the age of five die in Cambodia, most - like Sareth's daughter - due to diarrhea or pneumonia. It's unfathomable to think that children are dying from illnesses that are easy to prevent and cure. We have to change this and change this now, so that the next baby who gets diarrhea doesn't die.?
?I was moved by Sareth's determination to give her three remaining children the best life possible. Every day she collects and sells rubbish from the streets, earning not much more than 1 a day to pay for food, rent and healthcare for her family. Her adorable six-year-old son, Chamroeun, misses out on school to help her.?
?Their story will be featured in the appeal film I've made for Soccer Aid, which will be broadcast on ITV on Sunday June 8. Please watch it and support Unicef, so more vulnerable children like those in Cambodia's slums get clean water and life-saving medicine."
