I havent been covering the latest details in the domestic violence case against Hayden Panettieres boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, because its just too sad. In May Haydens boyfriend was arrested for felony domestic violence after an abusive incident involving Hayden. Brian was charged and ordered to stay away from Hayden, which he allegedly did not do as there were follow-up stories that friends and family were worried about her. Brian is facing up to four years in prison if convicted, and the details revealed during the hearing for the protection order were disturbing. The prosecutor revealed that the police report claimed Brian hit Hayden on the face late one night when they were drunk, followed her upstairs after she went to bed on then choked her. Police saw bruising on Haydens eyelids, marks on her neck and bruising and a bite mark on her arms. According to the Police report, Hayden described Brians attack, and said he had abused her the day before when they were in Puerto Rico. It just sounds awful. I hope he gets the book thrown at him.
In this latest story in People, a source urges Hayden to leave Brian.
As Hickerson faces a felony charge in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident, a source says Panettiere?s loved ones ?are begging her to straighten up and move ahead.?
?It is totally out of control and she has to get over this guy,? the source says.
?Her friends and family have been worried about her for quite a while, and things seem to have gotten worse,? the source adds. ?She needs to do some soul-searching. For whatever reason, she continues this relationship, but it has done nothing but take her down lower. It?s a sad situation.?
?Hayden needs to surround herself with different types of people and get a hand on both her personal and professional life,? the source says. ?It?s hard to imagine things getting any worse, but they could.?
Kaya has apparently been living in Ukraine with Klitschko, 43, ever since their breakup, although the actress posted a photo from vacation with her little girl in February.
?Her life is in flux with her daughter living away, and she has other issues weighing on her mind,? the source says.
?Hayden is a wonderful and talented girl who was so happy with her family,? the insider says. ?I hope she can wade through whatever has gone wrong and get her life back together.?
Panettiere could not be reached for comment. Hickerson?s lawyer did not immediately respond to PEOPLE?s request for comment.

These quotes lack a basic understanding of abusive relationships, the cycle of abuse and coercive control. Its not a matter of her doing soul searching, or needing to get over Brian, Hayden may be legitimately afraid for her life if she leaves. She needs to escape and have support in order to do that. Whoever is giving these quotes to People sounds like theyre blaming Hayden for being a victim. Also I still maintain that Hayden deserves so much credit for letting her daughter stay with Wladimirs family. She knows shes not in a good situation for Kaya.

Kate Winslet talks a lot of nonsense. I don?t want to offend anyone when I say this, but? I get the feeling that Kate isn?t very bright? I always think back to this interview she gave where she talked about quitting therapy when she realized she could ?outsmart? her therapist. She also lied about how she gave birth to her daughter Mia? for no real reason. There are other little lies that just accumulate and leave the impression that A) Winslet is a fantasist and B) she talks a lot of nonsense. Anyway, Kate participated in the UK version of Who Do You Think You Are?, the show where celebrities work with genealogists to trace back their ancestry. Winslet comes from Swedish peasant stock, and she couldn?t be happier about that because even though she worth tens of millions of dollars, she wants everyone to know that at heart she really is just a working class peasant.
She now lives in a 4.1million Sussex mansion and is worth an estimated 62million. But Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet has revealed she would be ?upset? and ?disgusted? if she discovered that her ancestors had been rich or royal. The Titanic star, 43, told how her ?socialist? parents ?frowned upon the wealthy? after tracing her family tree for the new series of the BBC?s Who Do You Think You Are?
?I would have been upset and disgusted if I had come from wealth or royalty,? she told the Radio Times. ?There was never any money in our family, but I always felt very fortunate because I came from a lovely, wonderful, loving family. My roots are socialist, working class and, in a funny way, my parents frowned upon the wealthy.?
She learned that her maternal great-great-grandfather came to the UK from Sweden in 1884 to work as a tailor, a fact which ?basically means I?m an immigrant?. The most heartbreaking discovery for Winslet was that her great-great-great-great-grandfather, Anders Jonsson, was imprisoned in Sweden for stealing potatoes and honey to feed his family; one of his five children died from malnutrition. He died in prison from typhoid. He was kept as a ?slave? in Sweden, where he worked as a groom and was paid not in money but in tokens which could only be exchanged on the estate owned by his employer.
Winslet said: ?Mum and Dad went to Oxford for their honeymoon and we always had holidays out of the back of the van with a tent.? She told Radio Times that discovering how poor her ancestors were made sense of her life. ?I come from a long line of impoverished people on both sides of my family, which perhaps explains why I?ve tried to instil my parents? values into my kids. People never believe me, but my children aren?t over-privileged. We just don?t live like that. They are very balanced. Humble.? Winslet has three children, the youngest with Edward Abel Smith, nephew of Sir Richard Branson and previously known as Ned Rocknroll.

Yes, everyone knows that one should only research your genealogy to reconfirm your preconceived notions about socioeconomics. Kate Winslet is such a poseur, right? She?s basically an immigrant, people! She?s basically a peasant, please praise her for being super RILL. It also bugs me that Kate would truly be angry if she learned that she maybe had a king or queen or aristocrat in her lineage too I come from a long line of Indian communists, politicians, doctors and intellectuals, but here I am, a late-stage capitalist who writes gossip for a living in a declining empire. My point: your genealogy doesn?t define you. This focus on learning about your ancestry should be an interesting exercise in discovering more about your family, not an excuse to brag about how humble you are.
PS? I can?t help but remember when Gwyneth did the American version of this show and on her mother?s side, she came from peasant stock and Gwyneth was SO MAD. But then on her father?s side, Gwyneth was basically Jewish royalty, so that made her happy.

For the past three years or so, Kim Kardashian has been on a major weight loss/fitness kick. Kim and her sisters have always shilled for weird diets and weird appetite-suppression gimmicks, and add to that, all of them have on-call plastic surgeons. So no one really believed that Kim?s weight loss was A) natural or B) all that healthy. Last year, she talked a lot about her new, slim figure and how she got it. She claimed at the time that she had been doing heavy weight-lifting with a bodybuilder-trainer for about a year, and that she really wasn?t doing much cardio at that point. She also said that she was eating a mostly plant-based diet. Now she claims that she?s gone full vegan?
Kim Kardashian West says her vegan diet has really helped maintain her curves. In an Instagram Story clip, the reality star?s pal Anastasia Soare, founder of the cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills, raved over the size of Kardashian West?s waist.
?Please explain to me how it?s possible,? Soare remarked, while focusing the camera on the mother of three, 38, who wore a form-fitting bronze dress.
?Oh come on,? Kardashian West replied, with a smile on her face.
?This waist!? Soare exclaimed, adding that while she?s known Kardashian West for many years, she had never seen the reality star?s body look like this.
?Did you remove your ribs?? she jokingly asked the mother of four, who explained that cutting out meat and dairy has definitely been a factor.
?I think that honestly being a vegan now helps,? Kardashian West shared, before turning around and examining herself. ?It does look really small today.?
?Today? Everyday,? Soare replies, making Kardashian West laugh.

Is she lying? I don?t know. I believed her more last year when she talked about how she was ?mostly? vegan, but that she still ate non-vegan things sometimes. I do believe she?s probably cut out dairy and most meat, and I believe she?s mostly plant-based. I also believe she works out a lot. But yeah, it just looks like her body has been carved up by plastic surgeons too. I don?t know what to tell you don?t go vegan with the idea that you too will suddenly have a disproportionately tiny waist?

I don?t have patience for people who body-shame. I also find discussions of people?s butts bizarre. I don?t understand why people care that someone else?s butt is more round, more flat, or something in between. So, I had no idea that people cared about Chrissy Teigen?s butt. But apparently, it became a point of discussion on Twitter, thanks to a photo that?s making the rounds, and Chrissy wasnt amused.
Chrissy is standing in a hot tub (?) on a boat and is holding Miles and giving him a kiss on the side of his head. John is sitting in the hot tub next to and behind Chrissy and Miles. From the camera angle, it looks like he is looking at her butt. Had that been all, Twitter might have left it alone, but because his face is slightly scrunched, someone on Twitter decided that John was reacting negatively to Chrissy?s backside. Chrissy retweeted it and admitted she had no ass.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood comes out in a few weeks, which means the promotional tour is ramping up. I was a little bit surprised by how lowkey OUATIH was at the Cannes Film Festival yes, there was a splashy premiere and photocall, but didn?t it seem like it was kind of a minor event? I felt that way about Cannes in general this year, it was definitely missing some glamour and excitement. In any case, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie will probably all make the TV rounds in some way or another.
