Here’s a few shots ofCara Delevingne in a bikini from what I’m being told is one of her “movies” because she’s totally a “real” “actress” and not just another model who gets hired for movies because she looks good walking around in a bikini. Anyway, as an added bonus, there’s also a couple of Cara […]

| Kim Kardashian is 'very hands on' with Chi West 'especially in the first week' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I haven?t really thought too much about Chicago West since we discussed the name last Friday. Now that we?re several days past the name, has it grown on you? I honestly didn?t hate it the first time I heard it, and I almost love it now. Isn?t that crazy? Then again, I never hated the name Saint either. I thought (and still think) ?Saint West? sounds cool and looks cool in print. I feel the same way about Chicago West, or Chi West. Chi West (SHY West) sounds great. It?s simple. Anyway, Kim wants you to know that she?s super-hands-on with Chi West.
Kim Kardashian is loving life as a mother of three! The reality star is ?very hands-on? with her newborn daughter, Chicago West, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
?Kim gets up for everything, in the middle of the night, especially in the first week. It?s really important they bond with the baby. Kim?s a very hands-on mom,? the insider tells Us. ?Baby is settling in beautifully. Chi is sleeping a ton for now.?
As previously reported, Kardashian and Kanye West?s daughter was born via surrogate at 12:47 a.m. PT on January 15, weighing in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Days later, the KKW beauty creator announced her newborn?s name, Chicago, via her app. A source told Us the couple chose the name Chicago in honor of the city where the rapper was raised. Kim?s sister Khlo Kardashian, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, revealed that Chicago?s nickname is Chi, which is pronounced ?shy.?
?I LOOOOOOOOOOVE her name ? hey Chi (shy),? the Revenge Body host tweeted on Friday, January 19.
[From Us Weekly]
Granted, I?m not a mom, but is this funny? ?Kim gets up for everything, in the middle of the night, especially in the first week.? Oh, ?especially in the first week? like that?s the most important time? After the first week, it?s less important so Kim starts to delegate the middle-of-the-night stuff? The thing is, I actually believe Kim is more hands-on with her kids these days. The Paris robbery changed her, and she figured out that she wants to be with her children more and be more of a hands-on mom. But the way to convince us is not by emphasizing the first week??

| Duchess Kate repeats a blue Seraphine coat in London: super-cute? | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Man, I have not been keeping up with the Duchess of Cambridge?s schedule. Usually, her schedule is so sparse that her events are announced a month in advance, and they?re spaced out to, like, twice a month. But Kate is actually doing more work in January than she?s ever done in before. And I can?t keep up! Today, Kate was in London for two events highlighting postpartum mental health for moms. Her first stop was the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute, and her second stop was the Mother and Baby Unit at the Bethlehem Royal Hospital.
As she rounds the corner into her third trimester, Kate Middleton is highlighting an issue that affects millions of mothers. The royal mom, 36, stepped out in London on Wednesday for back-to-back engagements focusing on postpartum illnesses ? the day after she gave a rare speech highlighting the need for children?s mental health support.
Today?s schedule kicked off with a visit to King?s College London, where Kate ? wearing a blue Sraphine coat and the same floral print Sraphine dress she has worn twice before ? stopped by the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute. Her agenda included visiting the on-site laboratory to receive a briefing on its work on perinatal research before meeting with experts conducting research in perinatal psychiatry.
Kate?s next stop is set for the Mother and Baby Unit at the Bethlehem Royal Hospital, part of South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The unit specializes in the treatment of postnatal depression and postpartum psychosis.
[From People]
Sometimes I have great recall for Kate?s clothing, but this was not one of those times. I completely forgot about this Seraphine coat, which she?s worn before. Looking at the old photos, it feels like Kate took an off-the-rack piece and had it awkwardly tailored, and she definitely moved the hemline up. I still think that she did that in these new photos? Then again, all of Kate?s Shades of Blue coats have all started to blend together for me.
All that being said, I think she looks super-cute here. I love it when she wears a ponytail, and I always think pregnancy ?softens? her so much. She?s one of those women who will look ?suddenly? pregnant too – like she?s barely showing for months and then all of a sudden, she?s waddling around with a sizeable bump. She?s got months to go though!

Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams have been best friends since their Dawson’s Creek days. Busy often attends events with Michelle to events and they are often photographed together. I’m sure many people in Hollywood have strong friendships but we don’t generally see them, especially after they start families. It’s great that these two are so close. Good friends are a treasure. And it’s nice to know someone always has your back:

| Denzel Washington on Trump: 'God puts kings in a place for a season and reason' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Denzel Washington is still promoting his now Oscar-nominated role in Roman J. Israel, which is how he got the cover of the UK?s Sunday Times Magazine. I generally enjoy British people interviewing American actors, because there?s generally an anthropological vibe to it, like the Brits are studying the Americans for clues about their politics, thoughts on racism, and more. This is particularly true of this interview with Denzel, arguably one of the most famous and beloved African-American celebrities in the world. Denzel has been around for a while though, and he?s able to walk that weird apolitical line. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
He wished he had kept a piece of his Roman J. Israel afro: ?Maybe it?s a black-community thing. When my first son was born, we cut the pieces of hair from his first year and you keep it. I guess it?s like keeping baby teeth.?
On the Dallas Cowboys kneeling, and the owner?s threat to kick them off the team: He shrugs. ?You gotta pay the cost to be the boss. You can take a knee ? but don?t complain if you go home, you know? It?s a free country. You have the right to protest. Are they being benched? I don?t think so. You can?t bench a whole team.?
On the #MeToo conversations changing Hollywood: ?I?m sure it already has. I?m sure there are those who thought they could get away with anything and they don?t feel that now. I mean, I hope they don?t. I think it will change the industry for good. Hmm, Harvey. It?s about 10 years. I haven?t talked to Harvey in about 10 years.?
He gave up alcohol on his 60th birthday: ?I just had enough. Some things you can have enough of. Not peanut butter yet, but all alcohol. I gave it up with the idea of putting my best foot forward. I tried everything else, let?s try this.?
Whether he cares about awards: ?Of course people care about them. First of all, it?s an opportunity for the industry to celebrate those who have achieved. I don?t know if it?s a measuring stick … I remember they all used to go to Swifty Lazar?s party at Spago?s after the awards. There used to be a parking lot and you could look down over Spago?s, and I remember seeing people going in ? Warren Beatty and people like that ? and I said to myself, someday I?m going to get in there. It wasn?t so much about getting the award, it was, like, I wasn?t invited to the party and I needed to be.?
Whether America will ever ?recover? from going from Obama to Trump. ?What do you mean, ?recover??? Obama was a good guy in charge. A good president and a good man, and now we have the opposite. ?Well, it?s early days yet …? Really? ?It?s not like Barack and I are old pals, you know. I think he watched someone and was inspired by someone and someone will be inspired by him,? he says obtusely. Does he think the current regime is inspiring? ?Is it not?? he replies. He seems determined to remain ambiguous on politics, and although he?s sitting in front of me, in his head he?s already left the room. But after we meet, I notice he looked mesmerised while watching Oprah Winfrey at the Golden Globes.
His final thought on Trump: ?There?s a pastor who talked about this. I think his name is AR Bernard and it?s Daniel, chapter 10. He says that God puts kings in a place for a season and reason, and we don?t always know the reason, so this is what it is right now. There?s a reason behind it and I say to people that, if nothing else, we should be more unified. All the more reason to work together.?
[From The Times]
Denzel is basically saying what so many people said, trying to find some kind of silver lining in the sh-thole that is American politics today, which is that ?well, at least people are organizing and focused now.? That?s not a silver lining, peeps. But mostly I think Denzel is just trying to sell his movie and not piss people off by talking about his views on politics and race. Which is his right, absolutely. But at some point, do you judge apolitical people for staying silent publicly when we?re in the midst of all of this fascism and racist terrorism?
