Following Time Magazine’s cover featuring Jamie Lynn Grumet breastfeeding her three-year-old, Alanis Morissette has come out in support of attachment parenting. Alanis says her 16-month-old Ever Imre is still popping her tit in his mouth and she’s not going to stop him until he’s ready.
Alanis tells Access Hollywood, “I breastfeed and I’ll be breastfeeding until my son is finished and he weans.” She casually explains, ?I think it affords the child, when he grows up, to have a lot less therapy to go to. For me, I protect his safety and his well-being and his attachment. That stage of development is a very important stage.?
I’d think this kid will eventually need more therapy. Especially after all his friends make fun of him for still sucking on his mother’s teat and pucker their lips and make sucking noises and then ask him if they can suck on his mom’s tits too.
Alanis continues that even though she, her husband and her kid all sleep together, this hasn’t put a damper on their sex lives.?He?s a very robust, virile man,? she says with a laugh. ?You gotta take care of your husband.?
Sweet Jesus. I hope they’re not having sex while that kid is sleeping next to them. At the very least, they better give that boy some earplugs and a blindfold and setup a future therapy fund.

What is going on with Harper?s Bazaar lately? I remember, I had a subscription to Bazaar? maybe in the early years of the aughts, like 2001 and 2002. It was a good magazine back then, with interesting writers and sometimes moody, evocative, beautiful black-and-white pictorials. I guess they have new editors and I guess those editors are bored out of their skulls, because they keep hiring Terry Richardson for seemingly ALL of their photo shoots, and they all look the same, and they are all so budget and boring. With that in mind, here?s their June cover and cover shoot with Kate Moss.
Bazaar says that Kate is ?modeling the best of the collections on location in Jamaica.? You can see the full photo shoot here. I was going to grab even more images from the shoot, but it?s like Terry and Kate both decided to completely phone it in. I swear, she only uses two ?model-faces? throughout the whole shoot. Her two looks: ?Wow, I did too much coke last night? and ?OMG, I shouldn?t have just done all that coke.? You know that?s exactly what Kate and Terry did ?on location in Jamaica.? They did lines and wandered around on the beach.
Incidentally, CB and I were talking about possibly covering this story about Kate?s claw-toes yesterday, but we decided against it. Because, honestly, her feet aren?t all that bad or good. She just has long toes, too-small shoes and no pedicure – you can see the photos here.

Continuing to dish about her beauty offering, the 31-year-old explained, ?This fragrance is different because it really changes on your body. When you spray it, it keeps on evolving, and you want to keep smelling it to figure out what that really is.?

Kaiser’s already covered these photos of Rihanna at the Battleship premiere, but I pulled out some more from the set because of how physically drained Rihanna looks at this event. Sure, her body looks great, but her eyes tell a different story. This premiere took place just a few days after the Met Gala where she wore that fantastic Tom Ford dress and then proceeded to allegedly land herself in the emergency room after partying hard and tweeting that freaky photo of an IV in her arm. This week’s issue of the Enquirer builds upon the events of the past few weeks and also refers to Rihanna’s blunt-filled, alcohol-laden Hawaiian vacation from this past holiday season. The tabloid has also talked to a couple of medical “experts” who have not treated Rihanna for their take on her downward spiral:
Rihanna is in a desperate life-or-death battle with liver damage caused by years of boozing and out-of-control partying, sources tell The Enquirer exclusively.
The 24-year-old Grammy winner was hospitalized after an early May bender, and her reckless behavior, couple with her grueling work schedule, has friends and experts warning that she’s on a fast track to becoming the next Whtiney Houston.
“Rihanna is spiraling out of control and is headed for an early grave,” said one concerned insider. “It never seems to be one beer or one cocktail. Once she gets started, Rihanna pounds drinks all night long, sometimes until the sun comes up. She definitely goes on binges. She’s been a hard drinker since her teens and her friends and family are desperately urging her to get into rehab.”
Medical experts say the sexy singer’s drinking habits could be deadly. “Rihanna could be dead tomorrow from liver failure,” Orlando-based, board-certified physicial Dr. Gabe Mirkin told The Enquirer. He noted: “Anybody who drinks alcohol for more than two hours a day, even if it is binge drinking once a week, is looking a premature death. Once the liver is permanently damaged, it’s over.”
Dr. Robert Waldman, consultant to the Cliffside Malibu treatment center and a 25-year veteran of addiction medicine, agreed. “The earlier you start to drink, the more the body becomes dependent on alcohol. It can cause deadly cirrhosis of the liver and alcohol poisoning — even at her age.”
Rihanna’s world came crashing down earlier this month. She missed an “SNL” final dress rehearsal and needed a shot of penicillin to make it htrough her May 5 performance. And on May 8, she tweeted a picture of her arm hooked up to an intravenous drop, claiming she was suffering from a nasty bout of the flu, a day after attending the Costume Institute Gala in New York. She was reportedly hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration.
Ratcheting up her stress, she’s coming off a grueling tour last year, and she’s been flying all over the world to promote her film Battleship. Rihanna recoverd from her frightening hospitalization to make it to the May 10 L.A. premiere, but then she alarmed onlookers by skipping dinner, opting to chew gum and drink a lime cocktail instead. Two days later, she was seen partying until 4 a.m. in a New York nightclub.
Sadly, the entertainer, whose father is a former crack addict, appears to be continuing her nonstop pace — blazing a round-the-world party trail since shse started the year knocking back beers and smoking pot during a Hawaiian vacation.

Questionable medical ethics (on the part of those two physicians) aside, I agree that Rihanna needs to slow down in several regards. She needs to take it easy professionally and whittle down her schedule a bit, and she needs to stop boozing so hard. Perhaps she truly seeks to ease the pain associated from her past (?) relationship with Chris Brown, but hardcore drinking is (obviously) not the way to accomplish any long-term healing. As Kaiser also mentioned recently, Rihanna strongly identifies as a Pisces, and (speaking as one myself) that astrological sign tends to have their head in the clouds if left unchecked. It’s probably safe to say that Rihanna really has been drowning her stress and sorrows in too much liquor, and I would suspect that a visit to rehab is in the cards.

I totally think this guy is nothing but a K-Fed, but I also think this is probably the exact gender reversal of whatever George Clooney has. That being said, I do believe Rutler probably earns his keep in ways we can?t even imagine. There?s wrangling a drunken Christina every single night. Babysitting. Cleaning up all of the orange-makeup stains which are on EVERYTHING. ?Performing? in bed every time drunk-as-hell Christina wants it. He?s part gigolo, part babysitter, part maid, and part assistant. Basically, she should probably be giving him more money. Or she could just put a ring on it. Maybe that will shut him up.

Whenever I think of mama?s boys trying to pass themselves off as Hollywood heartthrobs, my mind always goes straight to Bradley Cooper. I swear, poor Zoe Saldana AND Renee Zellweger spent more quality time with B-Coop?s mother than they ever spent with Bradley. But would you peg Ryan Reynolds as a mama?s boy? I don?t know much about his family, but I?ve heard general things about his family being tight-knit, nice, normal Canadians. I just looked them up – his dad has Parkinson?s, which is just awful. Awful for his dad, and awful for the family. Ugh? anyway, by all accounts, they?re a tight-knit family, as is Blake?s family.
So, a few weeks about Ryan took Blake to Canada so they could spend some time with his family, after they spent many, many mini-breaks and holidays with her family. I?m positive that this is not the first time Blake has met Ryan?s family, but according to Star Magazine, there was something about this trip that pitted Blake and Ryan?s mom against each other. Tammy Reynolds thinks Blake is a diva. Blake thinks Tammy needs to mind her beeswax. Who shall be victorious?
As they blissfully prepare to share their lives together in a new home, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively?s whirlwind eight-month romance has hit a major snag. The couple?s recent visit to his hometown of Vancouver erupted into a showdown between Blake and Ryan?s mother Tammy – causing a furious Blake, 24, to storm off, a source tells Star.
Ryan?s mom, a retired salesperson, ?is a straight-talker who speaks her mind,? says a source. ?She hasn?t really warmed to Blake.?
?Tammy would like to see Ryan with a woman who?s not in the movie business because she feels that, ultimately, actresses put their careers first,? says the source. ?And she thinks Blake is pressuring Ryan into settling down before he?s ready. He also rushed into his first marriage, with Scarlett Johansson.?
Indeed, Blake and Ryan are ?unofficially engaged? and planning to wed in the summer of 2013 at the $2.6 million estate they recently purchased in Bedford, NY, the source reveals. But Tammy is urging them to relocate to Vancouver full-time.
?She says when they have kids, Blake and Ryan should raise them in Canada because it?s safer,? says the source. ?Blake refuses to even consider that, saying that she has to be in NYC for work.?
Despite her objections to the hasty wedding, Tammy ?has also been trying to take over the wedding planning,? says the source. ?She wants to invite all these family friends Blake doesn?t know.? The mama drama came to a head during a May 6 dinner at the Reynolds family home.
?When Tammy started grilling her, Blake left the room and had a meltdown? she told Ryan she wanted to stay at a hotel for the rest of the trip.?
Blake cooled down enough to dine with the actor, his brother and sister-in-law the next day, ?But she made it clear to Ryan that Tammy was not welcome.?
Now tensions remain high. ?Tammy says it proves she?s right: Blake?s a diva? Ryan is torn between them – and in an impossible position.?

While I think Tammy has some good points – especially about actresses prioritizing their careers and about Blake pushing Ryan so fast – I do think Tammy needs to butt out. Moving to Canada? No. Interjecting herself into wedding plans? No. I mean, was Scarlett Johansson the perfect daughter-in-law? No. And Blake won?t be the perfect daughter-in-law either, but Tammy?s son has a thing for big-boobed blonde actresses, and if that?s his prerequisite, he could do SO much worse. I know I?m about to get many, many lectures from mother?s of mama?s boys, but seriously ladies, why can?t you let your sons just make their own mistakes? Why does it always have to only be about your future daughter-in-law being a Leo DiCaprio-boning, workaholic hussy? That?s obviously what your son likes.

I hate to admit it, but I think Kanye West is actually achieving the impossible: he?s improving Kim Kardashian?s style. These are photos of Kim and Kanye last night in London, leaving their hotel and then attending the Fifi Awards (awards given for perfumes).
This is exactly what happened (in my mind): first, Kanye spends hours going over Kim?s look, vetoing several dresses (?Girl, imma let you wear something ALL CLASS.?) and even describing the ?look? he wanted for Kim to her makeup artist and hairstylist. Kim was probably exhausted by the time the ?preparations? for the evening were over, and she still had to show up at the Fifi Awards. So, Kim and Kanye walk out of their hotel together, knowing they?ll be photographed by the hordes of paparazzi waiting for them. Then, once they get to the Fifi Awards, Kanye doesn?t even walk on the carpet with her!!! For real. He went WITH HER, they?ve been photographed together constantly, but he draws the line at holding her hand on a red carpet. All class.
Anyway, I do think Kanye is helping her out. This dress is actually rather pretty, although her makeup is totally drag queen, per usual. Kim had to go to the Fifis because her ?signature fragrance? (?Gold??? Right?) was up for an award. While on the red carpet, Kim posed with a bottle of her new fragrance, True Reflection (Of A Kat-Face). Unfortunately for all involved in this mess, Kim did not win her award - she lost out to Justin Bieber?s ?Someday?. Sigh? maybe that?s why Kanye didn? walk the carpet with her. ?Girl, you can?t even win a damn Fifi? That ain?t right.?
PS? Does anyone else think Kanye might be encouraging Kim to stop jacking her face too? Because her kat-face actually looks less waxy and frozen.

Following fizzled out relationships with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal, it looks as if Taylor Swift may be ready to give romance another go.
The country darling was spotted out on a lunch date with Foster The People frontman Mark Foster at Caffe Roma in Beverly Hills on Thursday (May 17).
Trying to keep their day of togetherness out of the spotlight, Mark quickly parted from Taylor as the paparazzi arrived on the scene at the Italian eatery.
The lunch outing comes just as it was announced that Miss Swift is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
The donation made by the country cutie marks the largest grant given to the museum by an artist, and the money is said to help fund an exhibit and classroom space dubbed as the "Taylor Swift Education Center" - which is expected to open in 2014.
Of the sizable gift, museum director, Kyle Young, said, ?It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I?m happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who?s in touch with a young audience??

Stepping out to grab a bite to eat, Amber Heard was seen arriving at the valet of BOA steakhouse in West Hollywood, CA on Wednesday evening (May 16).
The stunning blonde actress gave a leggy entrance in a full length flowing, high-slitted white skirt paired with a striped tank top and sunglasses as she handed the keys of her classic Mustang over to valet service before heading in for dinner.
In career news, the "Zombieland" beauty has nabbed a role in the upcoming 2010 "Machete" sequel "Machete Kills." The film, which is set to start production this month, will bring back previous stars Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez as well as series-newcomer Mel Gibson.
The Robert Rodriguez directed sequel is described as follows: "The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space."
No release date is set yet, but you can expect to see the action film in 2013.

Showing off her effortless style, the former reality star strutted to her car in colorful sandals wearing an extremely short tie-dye dress under a beige button up cardigan and carried an over sized nude purse.
Port recently tried her hand at designing jewelry and is preparing to launch her "Bits & Bobs by Whitney Eve" line of accessories this fall, but fashion designer recently dished to People about the most challenge part of designing the range.
?I really had to explain and translate what was in my head to the people that know how to make it, I can?t make it on my own. So that?s always a challenge.? Port admitted.
The 27-year-old's jewelry collection features, ?a lot of mixed metals and chains,? Port explained. ?It?s vintage-y looking. It?s kind of like punk mixed with a little feminine edge. Lots of golds and silver. It?s pretty exciting.?
Although Whitney is pumped about launching her jewelry range, she's still busy doing what she loves the most, ?My clothing line is really my main focus right now.?

Miss Olsen was spotted enjoying herself last week at the annual 2012 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City as she swept the red carpet in her silky gown.
