Not letting a highly successful acting career stop her from educational desires, Eva Longoria has announced that she plans to get a Masters degree.
The “Desperate Housewives” beauty will be enrolling in Chicano studies and political science to gain knowledge about her heritage.
Talking about her educational endeavors, Eva told Hola magazine she plans to “learn more about the history of the country we come from.”
While she has yet to announce her college of choice, Miss Longoria currently carried a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M.

Teaming up with Frigidaire, the former “Alias” actress is hoping to raise support for Save the Children as she spoke at the event held at Gary’s Loft.
“I am proud to be the ambassador for the Frigidaire ‘Make Time for Change’ campaign to help give the littlest Americans the best start possible,” Jen said to the crowd.
Fresh off of an appearance on the Martha Stewart show earlier in the morning, the 37-year-old added, “There is nothing more important to our future than protecting theirs.”

Having just recently arrived in Italy, Janet Jackson attended the Armani Fashion Show during Milan Fashion Week on Thursday (September 24).
The 43-year-old took her prime seat as she enjoyed the catwalk exhibit, currently staying in Italy ahead of amfAR chair duties during a charitable fete scheduled for September 28th.
Meanwhile, Armani was short-winded with press during the day’s festivities, letting his new looks do the talking.
During his short time talking with press, he told, “Body Art is a form of physical language, a fusion of performance and gesture, movement that displays an attitude and unleashes creativity.”

A lot of people in the world want to make out with Megan Fox, and she’s good. She has a lot of lips. We both have a lot of lips. It was very feminine.”
And though the film boasts the must-see moment, it didn’t fare all that well at the box office, making less than $7 million in its opening weekend.

Enrique Iglesias and tennis player Anna Kournikova have been dating for almost eight years now - but rumor has it they may be hitched soon!
The couple was spotted spending the afternoon at the Cartier Champs-Elysees boutique in Paris, where they spent 40 minutes inside the fancy jewelry store, but it is unknown if they walked out with any bling.
The 28 year-old tennis star has avoided engagement rumors and has said she is “never getting married,” but boyfriend Iglesias, 34, has been vocal about wanting to marry the athlete.
“I always try, but she pays me no attention,” Iglesias told reporters a couple of days after Kournikova made her marital comments.
Back in 2004, rumors surfaced that the twosome got hitched in a private ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, when Kournikova was seen wearing a wedding band on her ring finger - but said it wasn’t true.
The couple continued to face speculation in May 2007, when Iglesias told a Swedish newspaper, “We’re divorced. I am single now, but that’s okay. I don’t mind being alone.” He later retracted his quotes and told reporters it was simply a joke.

Earlier this week, Carrie Underwood had the opportunity to honor Randy Travis for his excellence in the country music industry over the past twenty-four years.
At the annual ACM Awards, Miss Underwood was among those to take the stage during a night full of tributes to the great singers in the country music industry.
Asked a few questions during the course of the ceremony, Carrie replied to chat about an upcoming performance and if it would include Randy, to which she replied, “Nah! He’s just going to sit back and enjoy..well, you never know! He likes surprising me!”
Last year, Travis surprised Underwood while she was on stage singing and also invited her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Underwood joked, saying that every time she sings, “I Told You So,” she makes sure Randy isn’t there behind her.
Carrie also added that it was nice to see faces she doesn’t always get to see. She was able to greet Miranda Lambert and was interested to see Patty Loveless and big icons in the industry.

Taking to the courthouse, Kirsten Dunst told all about her super handbag that a Manhattan mechanic is accused of taking from a suite at the SoHo Grand.
Wearing all black, the Spiderman actress smiled for the jurors and waved to the judge as she told the story of how she and co-star Simon Pegg found the thief.
“It was probably a $2,000 purse,” Dunst said of the brown Marc Jacobs handbag. “My purse had $2,000 in it, a pair of sunglasses, my wallet with all my credit cards.”
The 35-year-old James Jimenez is charged with slipping into a penthouse suite in August 2007 and taking the handbag, a $13,000 Balenciaga purse and Pegg’s iPod and camera.
The costars returned to the suite just before the sun came up, where the actors and crew entertained Harvey Weinsten, watched YouTube clips and feasted on takeout.
“It was our last night of filming, so we were celebrating,” she said. The actors and Dunst’s assistant then realized what was missing.
“It dawns on you slowly because, obviously, you don’t want to think that happened,” said Pegg, who supplied the voice for Buck, the one-eyed weasel in “Ice Age 3.”
Jimenez may face up to 15 years in jail if convicted of burglary. An accomplice, Jarrod Beinerman, is doing four years in prison after pleading guilty.
Manhattan prosecutors say the two men were seen in the suite by a production assistant, and also captured by a hotel surveillance camera.
“They said they were from engineering and they’d come to fix a drain,” said Henry Mackintosh, who worked on the movie. “I said we hadn’t asked for engineering to come up.”

I?ve mentioned this before, but I love the Bridget Jones character, and I love Renee Zellweger as that character. Even though I didn?t care for the sequel book or film, I still love the franchise, and I was thrilled when they announced the third film over the summer. At the time of the announcement, the start date for the production was left up in the air, and many people assumed that was because it would take Renee Zellweger months to put on her Bridget Jones pounds.
For the first film, Renee put on something like 25 to 30 pounds to play Bridget, and she looked lovely with the extra weight. For the sequel, Renee seemed to put on even more weight, and ended up looking rather puffy and sketchy. I was hoping for a return to the first film?s weight gain, but my hopes were just dashed. A source just told the British magazine Reveal (story via the NY Daily News) that Renee isn?t interested in gaining weight for the role for a third time, and that she?ll most likely wear padding and/or a ?fat suit?.
Renee Zellweger famously packed on the pounds to play “Bridget Jones,” but she’ll be faking the fat for the third installment of the popular film franchise, according to a report.
“Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film, as it took her a while to lose the weight last time,” a source revealed to British magazine Reveal. “She’s also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body.”
While some fans and bloggers are worried Zellweger’s portrayal of “Bridget Jones” will be less authentic the third go-round if she dons a fat suit, the actress has voiced concern over gaining weight for the famous role in the past.
“My body is whacked by the time we finish one of those ['Bridget Jones' movies],” Zellweger told the Daily Mail in December 2007.
She went on to tell the Mail how the 2004 fast-food documentary “Supersize Me” scared her.
“I had a panic attack with all the specialists talking about how bad this is for you, long term, putting on that much weight in short periods of time and they’re all saying, ‘You must stop this now or you’re going to die.’ “

Oh for goodness sake, Renee. It?s like she never stopped to think that maybe she didn?t have to take off every single little pound she gained for the Bridget Jones films. It?s like she never looked in the mirror and said, ?Yes, I am scary skinny, maybe putting on five pounds would be a good thing.? I like her and everything, but I do wonder if she has some serious body image issues. From her too-thin frame, to her trying-too-hard posing, I think Renee has gotten weird.
I also wonder if she?s refusing to put on the weight because she?s in a relationship with Bradley Cooper now, and she thinks that if she gains some weight, it will affect her relationship in a negative way. Maybe it will - God knows what kind of body type Bradley goes for, but I tend to think he would be understanding about the situation.

?It will be a guilty pleasure with a lot of eye candy.? That?s how Peepshow star Holly Madison described her new reality TV series Planet Holly to me in an exclusive interview. Holly will film it entirely on location here in Las Vegas starting Oct. 12 — one day after E! Entertainment launches a two-night premiere of the new season of The Girls Next Door. Those two debut episodes have Holly?s former love Hugh Hefner leading his new three-pack of blonde beauties to reunite with her to watch her perform in the topless burlesque cabaret here at Planet Hollywood! Holly will continue to make several guest appearances on The Girls Next Door this season as a continuing ratings booster — and great cross-promotion for her own new series.
Holly told me: ?There will be elements of GND in my show because there is such a fan following for it. It?s all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows. I?m really excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It?s not a vanity credit. I?m super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities.?
??I fell in love with Vegas since moving here. So I want to show a lot of the Vegas few people know about, it?s hidden treasures away from the Strip. The interview, which was conducted by Robin Leach, is comically long. Not that it?s a bad story or anything, but after a while you?ve scrolled down enough that you?re like, ?Still? We?re still talking?? I got the impression he didn?t want to let her go a moment before he absolutely had to. Robin probably figured Holly?s known for hooking up with rich old guys, so he?s got a shot. I can?t explain why but I really love Holly. I think it?s because she strikes me as genuinely nice and not a complete airhead. I doubt she?s trying to do advanced physics or anything in her spare time, but she doesn?t act like a drunk bimbo either.
I find the whole concept of Vegas confusing. Isn?t it basically just L.A. to the right? And without the ocean? I honestly don?t understand why hookers and gambling make a place more intriguing, but it?s the height of popularity right now. I?m sure I?ll catch the show at least a few times ? according to the article, Holly convinced Robin Leach to make a guest appearance. That sounds so frightening I?ve got to tune in.

Gray’s Anatomy heartthrob Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart are still angry about the “naked people hanging-out” tape of them distributed by celeb gossip site Gawker.com. In fact, they’re ready to take it to court. It’s been reported that the couple is filing a lawsuit against Gawker for more than $1 million in damages.
Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart are looking to settle the score with the website that published their naked non-sex threesome tape.
Dane and Gayheart filed a lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming Gawker.com had not only unlawfully posted almost 4 minutes of the private video that was shot behind closed doors, but “maliciously” distributed the video and included nude shots of the fabulous threesome — the third wheel was former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche.
Dane and Gayheart want more than $1 million in damages. Their lawyer — legal pit bull Marty Singer — is also asking for an injunction to pull the plug on the video.
UPDATE: 5:30 PM ET: Gawker’s publisher, Nick Denton, just twittered his response to the lawsuit: “To quote the great Marty Singer — Eric Dane’s lawyer — if you don’t want a sex tape on the internet, ‘don’t make one!’”

It certainly is embarrassing, and I wouldn’t want video of me naked circulating the Internet. But $1 million? Really? Has this video hurt their careers that much? And what about Mindy McCready, who is rumored to be the one who stole the tape and sold it to Gawker in the first place- where does she fit into the law suit? It would have been hard for Gawker to post it if she hadn’t dangled it in front of them, right?
Anyway, it looks as though the couple may be getting their wish to start a family. Rebecca Gayheart was photographed running errands recently, sporting what appears to be an early second trimester baby bump. Unfortunately, the photos also show Rebecca smoking a cigarette. If she’s smoking, I’m kind of hoping she isn’t, in fact, pregnant. If she is pregnant, I hope she quits smoking quickly. I don’t think I need to go into the mountains of studies done on this topic - one only need look at the warning labels on the side of a pack of smokes to get the abridged version. Anyway, this couple has been through a lot lately, so I hope things start to look up for them.

And though she’s long overdue for a new release, it seems Shakira’s record company has pushed the street date of her album from October 13th to November 17th.
In the meantime, we can look forward to her new single “Did it Again,” which was produced by The Neptunes. Of the track, Shakira told press, “It’s very electronic and dance-oriented, club-oriented. It’s designed for people to have fun and enjoy themselves and forget about their troubles and the crisis.”

It’s no secret that Brad Pitt has plenty of money - and he loves spending it.
The stud actor is reported to be trying to buy property around his and Angelina Jolie’s French estate, Chateau Miraval, to construct an airport so the family can just fly in with no cameras or paparazzi.
The couple already spent $60 million for 1,000 acres in the South of France which includes 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest and a moat.
“One thing he loves about the estate is the privacy it affords,” a source gushed. “Nobody can get near it. So with Angelina completing her pilot’s license, their own airstrip would give them total freedom to come and go.”

Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart are heading to court and suing a blog that posted their nude tape last month.
The couple, who were in a 12-minute home video alongside former teen queen Kari Ann Peniche, 25, are now suing Gawker Media for copyright infringement for more than $1 million.
The publisher of Gawker, Nick Denton, hit up his Twitter account, saying, “To quote the great Marty Singer - Eric Dane’s lawyer - if you don’t want a sex tape on the internet, ‘don’t make one!”
Singer also had argued that Gawker had multiple warnings about posting the video on Defamer. He violated the couple’s legal and privacy rights, but that the blog “went on to maliciously distribute an uncensored copy” of the tape.
Dane and Gayheart, “were partially and sometimes fully disrobed in the video, recorded it behind locked doors in Peniche’s bedroom,” the lawsuit reported.
Singer, Dane and his publicist were not available for comments.

As for balancing their working relationship with their real-life romance, Moyer told press, “We are very relaxed together on set, off set and that can only help with some of the things that we get asked to do.”
Stephen also revealed that he and Paquin were an item long before everyone found out about them. “We were very, very caged. We kept tabs on our own relationship, let alone telling anybody because we were very concerned about how it would play out given that anybody who signed up to do one of these series signs for seven years. So, you don’t take a decision like that lightly.”

Taking her hit-filled high-energy stage show to Anaheim, California, Miley Cyrus gave a killer concert at the Honda Center last night (September 23).
The “Party in the USA” songstress hit the stage with a big smile as the massive crowd of teen fans screamed with enthusiasm.
Speaking of her new album “The Time of Our Lives,” Miley told press, “It is a transitioning album. ... Everything is like a stepping stone. And that was really to introduce people to what I want my next record to sound like and with time I will be able to do that a little more and timing is just everything. So it is really about us working our way up to being able to do the music you really love.”
Miss Cyrus also explained that doing her film “The Last Song” was a nice departure from the norm. “I really do get to do a little bit of everything. It is not like getting away from it at all, it is just showing more of a side that I want to show. I love doing ‘Hannah Montana,’ but I want to continue doing things that are a little bit more darker roles. That is kind of who I am and where I find most of my inspiration in movies like that.”

The past few weeks, there have been a few drops of Jessica Biel news here and there. Jessica signed on to a new film - The A-Team, where Jessica will be playing Bradley Cooper?s character?s girlfriend - it?s a very supporting part, not anywhere close to the lead roles Jessica thinks she deserves, but is somehow too beautiful for. There are also rumors floating around that Justin Timberlake has dumped Jessica, and is now dating Rihanna. I don?t buy those rumors, but whatever. I think JT and Rihanna are just hanging out, but I?m sure Jessica is pissed all the same.
In nicer Jessica news, she?s just signed on to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in January as a way to raise awareness for the global issue of clean, accessible water. It?s a great cause, and Jessica is going to have to train like hell to make it up:

The entertainers have signed on to climb the continent’s highest peak ? Mt. Kilimanjaro, at more than 19,000 feet ? to raise awareness about the need for clean water worldwide.
The Summit on the Summit expedition, set for January, is the brainchild of singer and producer Kenna. His father suffered from waterborne diseases as a child in Ethiopia.
Biel, 27, said she was “astonished” to learn that more than a billion people across the globe have no access to clean water.
“This is a basic human necessity that needs to be addressed now,” Biel said in a statement, adding that she’s proud to climb Kilimanjaro with the celebrity team “to help any way I can in order to raise awareness toward the life-threatening clean water crisis happening not only in Africa but around the world.”
Justin Timberlake ? who’s been romantically linked with Biel ? may also be joining the climbers: He told GQ magazine earlier this year that he was preparing for a major mountain climb.
Representatives for the climb declined to comment on the 28-year-old singer’s possible participation.
Kenna said more celebrity climbers will be announced in the coming months, and he urges fans to follow the climb online. A donation as small as a dollar can provide 1,000 liters of clean water to those who need it, he said.
“We wanted to make sure there was a way people knew this was an issue and a way for them to do something about it,” he said Wednesday. “This is a global issue. It’s not an Africa problem. It’s not a South America problem. It’s a world, global problem. In America, 11 million people go without clean water.”

Justin might be joining her - even though, reportedly, he?s bothered by her superior athleticism and her hardcore workouts. My guess is that Justin will write a check while Jessica actually does the climb, for which I applaud her. Jessica is following in some great celebrity footsteps on the global water issue. Matt Damon does a ton of work with African and Asian clean water projects, and Jay-Z is an ambassador for the United Nations program Drop In the Bucket.

Jessica Simpson is moving on.
Days after calling off the search for her dog Daisy who was snatched by a coyote last week, the star, 29, is in Uganda, Africa, filming more of her upcoming reality show, The Price of Beauty.
“WTF?!?” she Twittered Wednesday after posting a photo of herself surrounded by protective fly nets. “Do I really have to sleep like this?”
Simpson, who is in Africa with pals Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, is “focusing on work” after the loss of her 5-year-old maltipoo, a source close to the star tells Usmagazine.com.
“She’s so happy just seeing the world and opening her eyes to what’s out there,” another source tells Us. “This is a good project for her.”
The star is also set to visit Mumbai, India, for the show, which does not yet have a premiere date.

She’s no stranger to traveling all over the globe, and earlier today (September 24) Lindsay Lohan was spotted at the F1 Rocks TV program in Singapore.
The “Georgia Rule” actress was more than happy to ham it up for the paparazzi, sporting a white cardigan over a black cleavage-baring top with a floral skirt and black open-toed heels.
And it sounds like LiLo’s new gig with Emanuel Ungaro has caused some tension between herself and pop icon Madonna, who was overlooked for the job.

He’s accomplished more than most actors in showbusiness during his lengthy career, and now it seems Johnny Depp is taking a turn behind the camera.
The “Public Enemies” stud was spotted at the helm of a music video shoot for the band Babybird on Tuesday afternoon in the UK.
Depp chose Hatfield House in Herts, England for the shoot, where he spent a total of two days crafting the video. As could be expected, Johnny stayed away from the paparazzi as much as possible, though they caught him having a smoke break.

Back in 2007, her room at the SoHo Grand hotel was burglarized, and today (September 24) Kirsten Dunst is scheduled to testify against the thieves.
The “Crazy/Beautiful” actress will take the stand in a Manhattan courtroom hoping to put mechanic James Jiminez and Jarrod Beinerman behind bars.
The burglary saw Dunst lose a $13,000 Balenciaga purse, a $2500 Marc Jacobs handbag, cash, credit cards, an iPod, two cameras, and her cell phone.
Yesterday, the court showed the surveillance video in which Jiminez and Beinerman were seen leaving the hotel with Kirsten’s belongings. Dunst’s “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” costar Simon Pegg is also expected to testify.

Continuing her gig as a sometimes runway model, Pamela Anderson was spotted working it at the A Muse photo call earlier today (September 24) in Auckland, New Zealand.
The former “Baywatch” beauty was all smiles as she hammed it up with designer Richie Rich for the press and paparazzi.
Unfortunately, Pammie’s Pink screenprinted scarf-turned-dress didn’t seem to want to cooperate, and ended up almost falling down completely before she managed to hold it up while Rich made the necessary adjustments.
Thankfully everything ended up working out, though it wouldn’t have been the first (or tenth) time Miss Anderson found herself in a wardrobe snafu.

We don?t have access to these great new pictures, but if like seeing the Jolie-Pitt kids, you should definitely check these out. Angelina took Zahara, Pax and Shiloh out to the Toys ?R? Us in the south of France (who knew there was a Toys ?R? Us there?). People are already analyzing in great depth Shiloh?s missing front tooth - she?s 3 years old, which does seem young to start loosing teeth. Perhaps Shiloh and Empress Zahara got into a big fight, and Zahara clocked her? Or perhaps Shiloh is just knocked out her own front tooth with that epically awesome sword she?s carrying.
Zahara looks like she?s turning out to be the great beauty of the family, and she?s wearing a little purple peasant skirt and white tank. Too cute. Meanwhile, I think Shiloh decided to dress up like some kind of? pirate? She has that sword, a hat and a ?f-ck off and die? look on her face. Awesome. I love generational bitchface. Pax looks cute too - he got a haircut, and he looks like a sweetheart. He?s missing one of his front teeth too!
In one other little piece of Jolie-Pitt news, does anyone remember the weird rumor floating around last month that Brad Pitt was called in to film some emergency scenes for Guy Ritchie?s Sherlock Holmes? Within a day, the rumors were denied, but they still struck me as totally odd. First, how even starts a rumor like that if there isn?t some kind of basis? Secondly, Guy and Brad are friends, and if Guy was going to turn to anyone for a little emergency stunt-casting, it would probably be Brad. Now the rumor mill has started up again, and Brad?s name is still being thrown around? this time for a possible Sherlock Holmes sequel:
Brad Pitt has been the subject of a whirlwind of internet rumors that would mystify Sherlock Holmes himself. The “Inglourious Basterds” star was pegged for a cameo as the nefarious Moriarty, the titular master detective’s arch-nemesis, in the Guy Ritchie-directed “Sherlock Holmes,” but denials from Warner Bros. and other official parties effectively squashed that rumor.
Do you think the real Moriarty would reveal his identity so easily? No, he’d confuse his pursuers with misdirection and false leads. But just like legends, a good rumor never dies.
The Hollywood Reporter is getting in on the rumor mill by suggesting that Brad Pitt has had discussions with producers to star as Moriarty in a potential “Sherlock Holmes” sequel. The report acknowledges the previous Pitt rumors, but states that “those familiar with the script say the character [of Moriarty] is in shadow and cannot be recognized,” verifying director Ritchie’s statement that the Holmes villain is slated for an appearance — just not with any specific actor in mind.
Perhaps more important than Pitt’s potential enlistment in a “Holmes” sequel is the very existence of a sequel itself. The Robert Downey Jr.-starring action-mystery-what-have-you flick doesn’t even hit theaters until December, and there are already active plans to turn the film into a franchise.
According to THR, screenwriters Kieran and Michele Mulroney have been hired to pen “Sherlock Holmes 2? for Warners. The screenwriting pair are also mentioned as the writers behind “Justice League: Mortal,” the WB’s defunct superhero team-up project. They also wrote and directed “Paper Man,” the Jeff Daniels and Ryan Reynolds-starring dramedy about a man accompanied by an imaginary superhero pal.
So, not only is Brad Pitt maybe-possibly starring in the “Holmes” franchise after all, but a sequel is actually being fast-tracked in advance of the initial film’s release. Seems a little early to be talking about “Sherlock Holmes 2? to me, when we don’t even know if the first movie is any good or not.

Maybe I?m completely off-base, but I kind of think Brad might have done some work on this first Sherlock Holmes film, due out this Christmas. I think it was supposed to be a surprise, and it got out, and the studio tried to shut it down. I?m not saying Brad filmed a bunch of scenes or anything - but if Guy Ritchie was smart about it, Brad could have done some voice work, and maybe one scene, the ?reveal? of Prof. Moriarity.

In the videos I’ve seen of Miley Cyrus and her family being filmed by the paparazzi, they’re invariably gracious, friendly and smiling. They answer the questions photographers throw at them and sometimes chat with them casually. (I used to watch the celebrity videos on Hollywood.tv, but now they’re invite-only. You can still see some on YouTube, and here is a video of their photographer chatting with Miley in April. She hugs him and gives him a high five and says she wishes he could have followed her on a trip.) Maybe Miley only had a good relationship with certain photographers who were nice to her, though, and given the other videos I’ve seen of paparazzi asking obnoxious questions of celebrities it’s very possible that Miley has heard some inappropriate things too.
Miley tweeted on Monday, September 21 that “Being a paparatzi [sic] is the most DISGUISTING job imaginable” and that “Being followed around by creepy photographers is NOT in the job description!” She’s only 16 and prone to exaggeration, so I guess I don’t need to point out that there are much more disgusting jobs that either involve literally gross things, or exploiting people in some way. Maybe she has a point, though:

The ‘See You Again’ singer has blasted photographers who follow her everywhere and has branded the profession “disgusting”.
The 16-year-old singer wrote on her Twitter page: “Being a paparazzi is the most DISGUISTING job imaginable.
“Being followed around by creepy photographers is NOT in the job description! YOU try being stuck inside cuz creepers are waiting for u. [sic]”
In reply to her comments gossip blogger Perez Hilton defended photographers, saying: “But some of them are your friends! You’re always chummy with that one videographer!”
Miley - who has sold over four million records - has previously revealed she has bad dreams about being photographed.
She said: “I have nightmares about paparazzi. I always have these flashing things in my dreams. They’re so scary.”
Miley has also released a song, ‘Fly On The Wall’, about the pitfalls of fame.

I think Perez is talking about the Hollywood.TV guy who Miley is chummy with. There’s video on X17 of Miley out at lunch on Monday before she made that tweet later in the day, and she smiles and poses with fans. One photographer asks her about her upcoming concert, and she grins but doesn’t answer him. It looks like just another day in Miley’s life. It’s likely there were a ton of paparazzi there that you can’t see in the video, though, as several of the agencies we subscribe to have those photos.
Does Miley have a right to be annoyed and to find the paparazzi “disgusting” or should she grin and bear it like she always does as it’s part of her job? We don’t know if someone said something to her that set her off, or if she’s just tired of being followed around and photographed all day. No matter how rich or famous you are, that’s got to get annoying. To Miley’s credit, she’s still being super nice and smiling and is just venting her frustration online and not at the moment she’s being taped. The girl may do some dumb things, but she’s very savvy in her way.
Miley has a new interview with the Associated Press that popped up for me right as I was about to publish this story. She talks about how she loves to get feedback on Twitter from her fans, about her new album, tour and acting career. When it comes to her personal life, she says that she’d like to keep more things private, and that people shouldn’t judge her parents for the way they’re raising her:
I think everything I do is exaggerated a lot. I think that no matter what, I think it is all about respect. People forget that when you are in the public eye, people forget you still have to respect people and you still have to (respect) their privacy. And also respect my family and trust the fact that my parents are raising me just like everyone else is raising their kids. They are doing it the way they want to. It is not for the media or for any one else to judge how they should or should not raise me.

Katherine Heigl went on Ellen two weeks ago, in a segment that aired Friday September 11, to announce the fact that she was adopting a special needs baby from South Korea. Even though Katherine rolled her eyes when she said that the little girl’s birthday was right before hers, something she considered a sign at first but then realized she’d “basically forfeited my birthday for the rest of my life, which is not cool” most of us praised Katherine and thought that she was doing a wonderful thing by giving that little girl a home. Last Thursday, September 17, Heigl shared photos of her new daughter, Naleigh, 10 months, on the website for her animal foundation.
Then yesterday we heard that Heigl’s costar on Grey’s Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo, had given birth to a girl, Stella Luna, last Tuesday September 15. Many of us wondered why it took Pompeo so long to make the announcement. We may have our answer in this piece from The NY Post, which wonders whether Heigl timed her adoption announcement and release of baby photos to specifically upstage the birth of Ellen’s new baby. Kaiser made the comment in our first story on Heigl’s adoption that she was “stealing Ellen Pompeo?s thunder” and it looks like she was right, whatever motivation Heigl had for it. The Post is technically incorrect when they say that Heigl made the official announcement on the same day that Pompeo gave birth. She made the adoption public on September 11 when her segment on Ellen aired and then released the photos on September 17. The timing is still suspicious.

Heigl hosted Pompeo’s baby shower in late August, so surely she knew when her friend and co-star was due to give birth. On one hand, Heigl may be entirely innocent of trying to one-up her co-star with her adoption announcement. She told Ellen that she started the adoption process a year ago and it’s possible it all came through now and she was so excited to share the news she didn’t consider Pompeo at all. On the other hand, maybe Heigl did know that this would take the spotlight away from her friend and maybe she relished that. This woman is generally a self-righteous bitch who constantly complains about her charmed life so I wouldn’t put it past her to try to dominate the press at an important moment in her co-star’s life. After all, she earned the cover of People Magazine this week. If she stepped on some toes so be it. She pretty much does that whenever she opens her mouth anyway.

The “Gimme More” songstress met up with one of her biggest fans at her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to give him a free ticket to her show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Miss Spears was all smiles as she arrived and greeted him, sporting a conservative-yet-sexy black dress along with a pair of red sunglasses.
Earlier in the day, Britney was spotted doing a little grocery shopping at her local Ralph’s market as she geared up for her concert last night.

The “Umbrella” hitmaker sported a sexy ensemble complete with bright red shades and matching heels as she strolled through the departures terminal.
Having been working on a new album as of late, Rihanna has nabbed Justin Timberlake as one of the producers.

Showing off her growing baby bump, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted making her rounds in Calabasas on Wednesday (September 23).
The E! reality cutie was first spotted out at Marmalade Cafe for breakfast with babydaddy Scott Disick, then dropping her man off at home before hitting the gym for an hour long yoga session.
Meanwhile, Kourtney spent the previous day out shopping with Scott and sister Khloe, proudly proclaiming, “I love being pregnant.”
Piping in, Scott then said, “I never in a million years thought she’d like to walk around with a belly and be happy. She’s actually been on her best behavior somehow, which is weird. I thought I was gonna be in for a lot more than I am...She has an attitude even not pregnant, so I was used to it. She’s actually been pretty wonderful the whole time, through it all.”
And while they’re anxiously awaiting their first child, it doesn’t sound as if Scott’s ready for more… yet.
He tells, “I don’t want her to get ahead of herself and think we’re gonna do this right away again.”

Keeping up a busy schedule, Audrina Patridge was spotted making her way around town on Wednesday afternoon (September 23).
Dressed casually in a white top with jeans, the MTV beauty first grabbed up lunch at Breadbar in West Hollywood before hitting up a studio in Santa Monica.
As of late, Miss Patridge has been finishing up work on the sixth season of “The Hills,” which premieres on MTV on September 29th.
Ready to start her very own show, Audrina previously told press: “I’m almost done with ‘The Hills’ - we’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving then.”

D-listers galore have spawned this week — “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar, “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Ellen Pompeo, and sometimes-model-turned-Jude-Law’s-drunken-bootycall Samantha Burke all gave birth within the last four days. People magazine says
Sarah Michelle Prinze and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze on Saturday, Sept. 19. This is the first child for the couple.
They go on to say
Jude Law is a father ? again.
Samantha Burke, the 24-year-old aspiring actress whom Law met while filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year, gave birth to a daughter Tuesday night.

It’s a girl for Ellen Pompeo!
The Grey’s Anatomy star, 39, welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, on Sept. 15 in Los Angeles.

The search for a new pad comes as rumors of a baby-on-the-way seem to be more and more certain with Miss Gayheart’s growing figure.
