| Anna Faris on being a competent mom: 'I question every single thing' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Anna Faris has a lot going on right now. Her CBS comedy, Mom, is a lock for renewal (in part, I assume, to the buzz around her co-stars Allison Janney?s award season). She also has the Overboard remake coming out in April. The first trailer dropped last month. Anna, as we now, is divorcing Chris Pratt. They share a five-year old son named Jack, whom I always find adorable. Anna recently told Us that she constantly doubts herself as a mom and holds Kristen Bell and Reese Witherspoon up as her ideal for Mom Goals.
Anna Faris has a mom crush on Kristen Bell and Reese Witherspoon.
?I like how they combine humor with raising kids, but also how they tackle motherhood and work without being pretentious,? the 41-year-old tells Us Weekly. Faris, who shares Jack, 5, with ex-husband Chris Pratt, especially appreciated Bell and Witherspoon?s honesty about the ups and downs of raising kids when she first became a parent. In opening up about their mistakes, they made Faris feel less alone. ?The first few years,? says Faris, ?I was like, ?Oh, my God. Everyone else seems to know exactly what to do and I don?t.??
The Mom star admits she is ?still figuring things out? and struggles with self-doubt. ?I question every single thing, like, ?Oh, I shouldn?t have changed lanes,? or ?Why don?t I have hand sanitizer?? and ?I should have applied more sunblock,? she tells Us. ?There?s just so much pressure for parents and it?s tough to let yourself off the hook and be like, ?You know what? He?s happy. It?s OK.?
[From Us]
?Oh, my God. Everyone else seems to know exactly what to do and I don?t.? I have been a mom for almost 13 years and I think this weekly. Everything I do I judge by other mothers, who seem to do all this cool stuff for their kids which I only do a tiny fraction of. My kids are happy and intellectually I know it’s ok, but one visit to Facebook will strip me of my confidence as a mother. (Even if I recognize the fantasy vs. reality of Facebook.)
Incidentally, although my initial response is to empathize with and encourage Anna, I started judging her at one point. She mentioned a time when Jack ate five balls of butter at a restaurant to the horror of her friends. Her point being that it was one of those funny moments she?s learned to laugh off. I should support her and think, ?we?ve all been there,? but instead I got judgmental and thought ?well, I?d never have allowed that.? I?m sure Anna is a great mom and I imagine Jack will let her know in every way. I hope that she and all of us other moms realize that one day too.
I also hope that Life and Style is wrong about Anna rushing her divorce so she can marry her new guy. Slow down, Anna!

| Jennifer Garner shares sweet note her 5 yo left in a book: kids think like that? | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Garner really lets her Type-A supermom flag fly on Instagram and it’s been a great thing for her. I would be somewhat mortified to be so open on social media, but I’m a writer not a video blogger and she’s not doing anything different than other people. In case you think I’m exaggerating, watch this video of her making the dough for biscuits. See what I mean? She loves all that stuff, she likes to share it with people, and she?s changed from just leaking stories about her family (although she and/or Ben have PR people who still do that) to sharing anecdotes about her life. She doesn’t post photos or videos of her kids but she did recently post a note, Samuel, five, left in a library book. It reads ?Hello, You are loved. I believe in you? and has a little heart after it. Here it is.
When the librarian finds a love note your son tucked into a picture book…???????? #actsofkindness #spreadlove #belikemlkjr #lovenote

| Kim Kardashian hints that Baby Girl West's name might involve 'Louis Vuitton' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Y?all can yell all you want about how Kim Kardashian is ?over? and no one cares about her, but you know you?re still waiting to hear what she names Baby West #3. Kim and Kanye?s surrogate gave birth to a baby girl on Monday, and Kim and Kanye were reportedly in the delivery room with the surrogate. TMZ says Kanye was behind a curtain – presumably for the surrogate’s privacy – and Kim was the first to have skin-to-skin contact with the baby girl. And we still don?t know Baby Girl?s name! We?ve already run through the same old list: Wild, South, True, Queen, Donda, Swift, Tres, etc. But what if Kim is trying to give us a hint? This is what Kim posted on Instagram yesterday:

| Justin Timberlake was 'absolutely' able to resolve the situation with Janet Jackson | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This will make me sound very old, but I always associate the Justin Timberlake-Janet Jackson Super Bowl scandal with the Iraq War. It happened about? what? Nine or ten months after America and the ?Coalition of the Willing? invaded Iraq, and the war was quickly descending into a gigantic clusterf–k. Even back then, I was one person among many who believed that Fox News in particular used the JT-Janet Super Bowl scandal as a ?bread and circuses? controversy to distract from the Iraq War mission creep and escalating clusterf–k. It seems almost f–king quaint to look back on it now and realize that for weeks on end, we were being force-fed all of these news segments about what happened and who was to blame and what kind of penalties there should be? and yes, I?m talking about Janet and JT, not the fact that there were no WMDs.
In the 14 years that followed, Janet Jackson has still had a career, but her career has never really been the same. She got thrown under the bus by everybody, including Justin. Justin flashed a simpering smile, threw out a rehearsed line about a ?wardrobe malfunction? and his career went on. Hell, the controversy made him even more famous and popular. And in the past 14 years, he?s barely said one word about Janet. Because he?s rarely even been asked. Now that Justin is returning as this year?s Super Bowl Half-Time performer, he?s finally getting some questions. And his answers are no bueno.
Whether the 2004 performance was brought up when he signed on for this year?s Half-Time show: ?Naturally, that?s something we talked about. To be honest, it wasn?t too much of a conversation. It?s just one of those things where you go like, ?Yeah what do you want me to say? We?re not going to do that again.??
How he responded to the wardrobe malfunction in real time: “Yeah and I stumbled through it, to be quite honest. I had my wires crossed, and it’s just something that you have to look back on and go, like, OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it.”
Whether he was able to ?resolve the situation? with Janet: “Absolutely…And I don’t know that a lot of people know that. I don’t think it’s my job to do that because you value the relationships that you do have with people.”
[From E! News]
?I had my wires crossed? - that?s as close as he?ll come to taking responsibility for what happened, and look what happens in the next breath – he absolves himself by characterizing it as a learning experience. Yeah, Janet Jackson lost millions of dollars in potential revenue, touring, album sales but at least Justin learned a lesson, so it?s cool. I?m also SMH at ?I don’t think it’s my job? to let people know that he and Janet resolved their sh-t. Ugh.

| Michelle Williams might be engaged to her low-key 50-year-old boyfriend | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Before the Michelle Williams-Mark Wahlberg/par-disparity story took hold last week, I was going to cover something a lot nicer about Michelle. She has a ?new? boyfriend, although I think she?s been dating this guy, undercover, for months now. His name is Andrew Youmans, and People Magazine did a lengthy story about him. He?s not shady in the least – he?s a financial consultant, he?s not connected to Hollywood or Broadway, he?s 50 years old (Michelle is 37), and he just sounds really smart and really solid. Michelle has apparently been wearing a heart-shaped diamond ring on her left hand and now people think she?s engaged.
Michelle Williams said ?yes?! The actress has been quietly dating New York financier Andrew Youmans, and though they?ve yet to make an official public appearance together, it?s the real deal. In fact, multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly that the pair are engaged!
?She wants a good guy and a stable family life,? says the insider.
The All the Money in the World star set off engagement speculation when she showed up at the Golden Globes on January 7 with a heart-shaped diamond ring on that finger. At the time, she brushed off the accessory as simply ?beautiful jewelry.? Williams, 37, also sported the ring while wearing a red one-piece and floppy straw hat at the beach in the Bahamas, where she spent New Year?s Day with Youmans and Matilda, her 12-year-old daughter with the late Heath Ledger.
When Ledger died at age 28 a few weeks after he and Williams broke up, Matilda was just 2. Following the tragedy, friends say the Brooklyn-based actress was hesitant to date again.
?Michelle was totally focused on giving Matilda the best upbringing possible,? says pal. Besides, says another, ?It took her a long time to get over Heath.?
[From Us Weekly]
I always dislike how magazines paint Michelle as the forever-untouched widow of Heath Ledger. She was devastated in the wake of Ledger?s death and I believe it?s taken her years to find her footing. But also: she?s 37 years old, and she?s had plenty of serious relationships and casual relationships since Ledger passed away. I?m not shading her for that – good for her for still believing in love and for dating and enjoying herself. I am throwing shade at the idea that we need to treat her with kid gloves, like she?ll burst into tears if she even thinks of another man besides Heath. Anyway, I hope she is engaged to this guy. He sounds really solid and I like it when actresses date accomplished men outside of the industry.
