| Gwen Stefani is a Hot Mess in 'Used to Love You' Music Video: Watch Here! | Added 9 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

Two months ago she announced her split from husband Gavin Rossdale, and Gwen Stefani just released a new music video that captures the emotional turmoil she?s been enduring as of late.
On Tuesday (October 20) the ?Hella Good? songstress dropped the clip for ?Used to Love You,? a tragically beautiful song that?s clearly written in response to her failed marriage. And in the video Gwen simply shakes her head, breaks down in tears and grows increasingly angry.
Stefani sings, "Never thought this would happen / Gotta let it sink in, you're gone. You can keep all the memories / I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you / I thought you loved me the most. I don't know why I cry / But I think it's cause I remembered for the first time / Since I hated you / That I used to love you."

It?s an exciting time to be a Netflix subscriber, as the streaming service just revealed plans to produce a new batch of ?Gilmore Girls? goodness, including the original cast and creator.
According to multiple reports, the ?in-the-works continuation? is slated to yield four 90-minute mini-movies to be penned by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino.
Furthermore, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson are all in negotiations to return for the project. In fact, way back in 2009 (3 years after the series ended), Ms. Palladino hinted to Entertainment Weekly, ?The beauty of Gilmore, and the beauty of family-relationship shows, is you never really run out of story. You?re going to battle your family until you?re all in the ground. Those things never resolve, doesn?t matter how much therapy you get. Ten years later, there?s still going to be [material] there to mine and to delve into.?

| Sandra Bullock has taught her son about racism, bias: 'He fully understands' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Sandra Bullock is doing promotion for Our Brand is Crisis, the George Clooney produced film in which she plays a campaign manager hired to help the Bolivian President win reelection. The film costars Billy Bob Thornton and Anthony Mackie and is out October 30.
A couple of weeks ago, we saw Sandra on the cover of Glamour, where she opened up about her fears for her son, Louis. Sandra adopted Louis, now 5, from New Orleans, and she told Glamour that she worries about his future in our country. She said “I want my son to be safe. I want my son to be judged for the man he is… If I could ride in a bubble with him for the rest of his life, I would. But I can?t.” In a new interview with BET, Sandra expanded on that, stating that she’s taught Louis about racism and other forms of bias like sexism and homophobia. She added “He doesn?t understand why people judge each other based on color of their skin, but he knows they do.” It was a kind of sad reality check, considering that she’s talking about a kid who’s kindergarten age. Here’s more of what Sandra told BET:
On if she teaches her son Louis about racism
Absolutely. It’s an open conversation we have. He fully understands what that means. He doesn?t understand why people judge each other based on color of their skin, but he knows they do. He also knows there?s sexism, he knows that there?s homophobia. He knows a lot for a 5 and 3/4 year old, but I think if you don’t start the conversation very early on you’re doing them a disservice. I’ve said it before I can’t ride in a bubble with him. I want him to know the truth but I also want him to know the good in the world as well but those are hard conversations to have.
“Do you find that difficult to balance sometimes?”
Not at all. It’s not a conversation any parent wants to have with their child. It?s not any conversation any parent wants to have with their child, is that you?ll be judged by the color of your skin rather than the content of your character. But it exists, and I want him to be safe and I want him to be aware. Once he leaves that house and I?m not with him, it?s his life and how he approaches it is his decision. But I want to know that I did the best I could as his mom to educate him on the ugliness in the world, and also the beauty.
[From BET via US Magazine]
That was incredibly well put, especially considering that Sandra was on a press circuit and was likely fielding questions all day. She could have given a half-assed answer, but this is something she cares about and thinks about deeply. I have a son and I also taught him early about prejudice, but we have the benefit of being white and all the advantages that go along with that. It’s got to be harder when you see the dangers that your child can face as a person of color.

| Zooey Deschanel named her daughter Elsie Otter Pechenik, 'like the animal' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Zooey Deschanel at last night?s NYC premiere of Rock the Kasbah, a film where Zooey plays a rock star and Bill Murray plays her roadie/tour manager or something. It looks sort of stupid, honestly. It looks like the ?comedy? is based on Bill Murray making fun of Arabic-speakers because they speak Arabic. Anyway, Zooey looks pretty here. She?s made very few public appearances since giving birth in August and she?s probably just enjoying her time at home with her new husband and baby. While on the red carpet, Zooey did confirm her daughter?s name too, and this is the first time we?re hearing it. Zooey, the Forever Manic Pixie Dream Girl, has named her daughter? Elsie Otter. Elsie Otter Pechenik.
It took a few months, but Zooey Deschanel has finally spilled the beans on her baby girl?s name. The New Girl star and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, have chosen Elsie Otter for their now 3-month-old daughter, the couple told PEOPLE Wednesday at the Rock the Kasbah premiere in New York City.
?It?s Elsie?? Deschanel began, while Pechenik finished, ?Otter.? ?Like the animal,? the actress explained, with her husband adding, ?Sea otter.?
Born in late July in Austin, Texas, Elsie is the first child for the pair, who announced their marriage and their daughter?s birth in August.
[From People]
Elsie Otter sounds like a children?s cartoon character. Elsie Otter is BFFs with Beverly Beaver, Alonzo Alpaca and Mary Meerkat. A lot has been said about Zooey and her twee hipster nonsense, but I really and truly thought that when Zooey met a real, adult dude (Jacob), she grew up a bit. But I guess there was still a lot of twee left in Zooey. Either that or Zooey is just a massive Benedict Cumberbatch fan and we never knew.
