Grifter Barbie Goes To Court: A Trump Family Adventure. Yesterday, Ivanka Trump made her long-awaited appearance in a Manhattan courtroom to testify as part of the penalties phase of her father?s civil fraud trial. Donald Trump has already been found liable of fraud, so right now the judge is trying to determine the penalties. Previously, the court threw out any charges for Ivanka, so she was there purely as a witness to her father?s long history of lies about his finances. Ivanka ended up getting high marks from the reporters inside the courtroom because she was calm, she never raised her voice and she stayed on topic, if the topic was ?I do not recall.?
On Wednesday, Ms. Trump appeared not as a top executive of the Trump Organization, but as a former employee, albeit one with a highly personal connection to the case. She played a key role in establishing some of the company?s relationships with lenders ? particularly Deutsche Bank ? and answered questions about the loan terms.
The attorney general?s team presented Ms. Trump with a 2011 email in which she told a Trump Organization colleague that the favorable terms of a deal would be possible only if backed by a guarantee about her father?s net worth.
?It doesn?t get better than this,? Ivanka Trump said of the generous terms in 2011. ?Let?s discuss ASAP.?
The bank?s offer required the Trump Organization to maintain a minimum net worth of $3 billion, excluding any value tied to Mr. Trump?s brand, illustrating a central contention of the attorney general?s case: that loan terms were predicated on Mr. Trump?s wealth, and that his annual financial statements were submitted each year to uphold those terms.
In another email exchange, the family?s banker at Deutsche Bank, Rosemary Vrablic, offered the Trump Organization another set of favorable terms, prompting Ms. Trump to thank her profusely, saying, ?You are the best Rosemary!?
Yet Ms. Trump, when asked about the annual financial statements, clammed up. At one point, she was asked about an occasion on which she was called to defend them. The meeting was with a government agency that was evaluating her company?s bid to develop the Old Post Office, a federal building in Washington that became the Trump International Hotel.
?I don?t recall them having discussed financial statements specifically,? she says. ?The whole meeting was mainly about our vision for the project.?

Last November, Donald Trump announced that he was ?running? for president again. That same week, Ivanka Trump announced that she wouldn?t be supporting his run in any way. As in, she wouldn?t work on his campaign or hang out with him whatsoever. She refused to be his fascist baby-whisperer. It wasn?t some bold show of integrity Ivanka is no longer welcome in the same elite circles she moved in for years, and she?s trying to rebuild her life down in the American Taliban state of Florida. All she has is billions of dollars she grifted from foreign governments and no friends or political allies. Well, People Magazine has an update on that situation.
Ivanka Trump is continuing to keep her distance from her father, Donald Trump, as a grand jury weighs whether to indict the former president over an alleged hush money payment made to a porn star in 2016.
Even though Ivanka loves her dad, she knows how impossible he can be, a social source tells PEOPLE ? though another person close to the former first daughter alleges there is no tension in their father-daughter relationship, and that shes simply focused on raising her children and building a life in Miami.
The initial source says that 41-year-old Ivanka is recreating her business life and raising her children which are her priorities. She is through with politics.
According to insiders, Ivanka has spent recent months traveling with her family and trying to ignore the negativity around her.
She misses her active social life in New York, but is enjoying Miami and all that it has to offer, the social source says. She has started over and pursues interests in business, design, and being involved in the lives of her children.
As far as the legal problems facing her father, the source says Ivanka is aware there is nothing she can do. Donald does what he wants, and she cant help him now, the source says. His help is in the hands of his lawyers and advisers. She is no longer working in that capacity.
Another source, who ran in New York and Florida social circles with the former first daughter, told PEOPLE Ivanka misses her New York social life.
She basically wants a new life to compensate for what she lost when she spent four years in her fathers Washington, the person says. She misses her active social life and group of friends.

I wasn?t actually following the raging debate about the January 6 committee and holding public hearings. When few public hearings were held in the year following the Jan. 6th insurrection, I cynically believed that the American public had zero appetite for learning the ins and outs of just how and why a sitting American president and his unhinged cronies incited one of the largest acts of domestic white-supremacist terrorism on American soil. I?m sort of pleasantly surprised that the January 6 Committee has been doing solid work behind-the-scenes, and that they got their wish to hold public hearings in primetime on American broadcast television. Thursday was the first night of those primetime public hearings, and it was a doozy.
Obviously, I?m not going to cover everything that went down during Day 1. WaPo did a ?six takeaways from Day 1? story which was a good read. The committee holds Donald Trump responsible (because he was responsible). As Liz Cheney said, ?President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob and lit the flame of this attack.? Trump also told people that Mike Pence ?deserves? to be hanged, and that he was rooting for the insurrectionists to murder his vice president. The committee previewed their strong case for the post-election ratfking operation Trump and his cronies tried to implement. The committee not only introduced never-before-seen footage on the ground at the Capitol, they also released clips from the testimony given by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. Here?s more about that:

I mean, big surprise, Ivanka knew her father was full of sh-t and she said nothing like that publicly. Worse yet, she even tried to placate her father and the terrorists who attacked the Capitol. The clip of Jared Kushner is fascinating and grotesque as well, because it?s about how the White House counsel threatened to quit and Kushner dismissed it as ?whining.? That?s how out-of-touch all of these people are.

Ivanka Trump has spent the first three months of the Biden Administration hiding out in Florida with all of the other MAGA swamp creatures. I know that shes seriously considering some kind of run for office, hey, maybe she should carpetbag her way into Matt Gaetzs district. I had a theory that most of the people around Donald Trump got vaccinated in the last days of that Confederate administration, but apparently not. ?He said it?s an insult that she would even want to engage with the crooks that are trying to bring him down,? The Daily Mail said. ?The president told his daughter that her presence at the inauguration will cost her thousands of supporters and would be the worst decision she could ever make.?

If Ivanka does attend the inauguration, the only silver lining is that the FBI could arrest her right there for her part in inciting the terrorist attack full of murderous ?American patriots? as she called them. Ivanka is desperate to A) save her own skin, B) somehow retain her father?s unhinged terrorist base, C) get attention and D) not be charged with any crimes. I have no idea how or why she believes attending the Biden inauguration would help with any of that though. Besides, I doubt the Biden people will save an invitation for her, so this whole thing is moot.

Ivanka Trump made an ass of herself during her father?s state visit to Great Britain. First of all, she had no business being there. She had no business being included in the state dinner or the 10 Downing Street meeting. But there she was, baby-whispering and looking all kinds of ?80s busted, like the worst Diana-drag effort ever. She barely got photographed with Prince Harry, and she didn?t get a photo-op with any other royals except? Prince Andrew! LOL.
As it turns out, Ivanka figured out a way to skip off for a day in between the D-Day events in Normandy and the UK state trip. So she went to The Hague for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2019. These photos are from her appearance there. What was funny is that Ivanka breezily announced it on Twitter and everyone made the same joke.

If you watch the clip, notice how Ivanka seems to launch into that ?I knew literally almost nothing? argument on her own, without prompt, and how she then steps onto her own lie by detailing how unimportant this Trump Tower Moscow Project was, because you know, she didn?t know anything about it. And of course she?s lying about not being concerned too. Ivanka looks hunted she?s wondering how she?s never, ever been asked to give any kind of testimony and whether that makes her one of the subjects of the investigation.

Im always suspicious when Ivanka Trump is too quiet. It?s been happening a lot over the past few months Ivanka will wordlessly show up to some of her father?s events or meetings, but she won?t make any public statements about anything. Plus, Ivanka and Jared do that annoying thing with the media, where they talk off the record with journalists to give their point of view and further their own agenda, then when the articles come out, Javanka denies the story. It?s how they amuse themselves, I think. Like children.
Anyway, these are some photos of Ivanka in New York yesterday. She, Jared and her dad are in town for the United Nations opening session. Trump?s UN visit has been largely ignored because of the dual Kavanaugh and Rosenstein dramas. Ivanka is probably just happy to pose for photos like a Stepford Daughter and give interviews about how she ignores the haters:

This news actually surprised me: Ivanka Trump is shutting down her eponymous clothing, shoe and accessories line. While Ivanka?s label was doing poorly in American stores, the Deplorables were buying her sh-t online, and from what I read months ago, her brand was still pretty strong in Asian markets. Still, her clothing was made in sweatshops and her most of her sh-t was overpriced. I haven?t seen any recent numbers, but I would assume that the Deplorables eventually stopped buying her tacky sh-t too. I?m also pretty positive that Ivanka is NOT shutting down her label because of any ethical concerns. LMAO. How quaint to think this feckless C-U-Next-Tuesday would care about ?ethics.?
Ivanka Trump?s namesake clothing, shoes and accessories brand is closing its doors. After 15 years in the fashion business, the First Daughter?s company, which she re-launched in 2014, will soon close down its operations, according to a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
?When we first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve. After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners,? Trump said in the statement. ?I am beyond grateful for the work of our incredible team who has inspired so many women; each other and myself included. While we will not continue our mission together, I know that each of them will thrive in their next chapter,? she added.
The move comes after Trump discontinued her fine jewelry line back in March 2017, a decision that was due to ?commitment to offering solution-oriented products at accessible price points,? the New York Times reported. The jewelry line, with prices in the thousands of dollars, had already been dropped by Neiman Marcus before it was officially discontinued.
Just last week, it was also announced that one of Canada?s largest department stores, Hudson?s Bay, had pulled all merchandise from the brand off its 90 stores? shelves across Canada, along with its website. The company also owns U.S. department stores Lord and Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Plus, as I said, her label is popular in Asia. No, I think Ivanka is ending her brand because GULP she?s about to take a bigger role in the administration.
