Never lacking in the sex appeal department, Julianne Moore is as hot as ever in her cover shot for the Spring 2015 issue of Los Angeles Confidential magazine.
The ?Boogie Nights? star says she?s thrilled to be nominated for an Oscar for her work in ?Still Alice?- ?To be even in conversation about it, to have people be excited about your work? You know we all love praise. It?s an honor to be discussed in this way. Of course?of course?I?m thrilled. And for a little movie like this, which we barely finished, that people made because they cared about it?and it?s a story about knowing what it means to be a human being, that?s what?s great too. And it makes you feel hope, right??
Additionally, Julianne has a strict rule about leaving her work at work- ?All I know is that I feel like I need to accomplish stuff and I guess I try to do it and just forget it. I really care about it when I?m doing it, but then when I?m done with it I have to be done with it, because there?s nothing else I can do.?
Of her role in ?Still Alice,? Moore notes, ?It?s so very rare that you get anybody?s subjective journey through anything in a film. We all say that we?re aware of our own mortality, but we?re not. It?s always present but we choose to deny it. In this case there?s a woman who?s forced to say, ?The end of my life is coming, and I?m going to have to experience it disappearing.?
And it turns out her husband is a fan of the movie, too- ?I was sitting taking notes and heard these sounds, and I was like, ?Bart?! Are you crying?!? What?s interesting is in as much as Hollywood deals with externalization?with what people look like and that kind of thing?Alzheimer?s really gets to what?s most important, which is who are you on the inside??

She?s one of the most prolific posers in the modeling industry and Bar Refaeli just signed on for yet another high-profile gig.
The Israeli-born stunner showed up at the Hublot Boutique in New York City last night for a special ceremony as she was named the first female brand ambassador for the luxury Swiss watchmaker.
Refaeli was joined by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, fellow brand ambassador Dwayne Wade and LVMH Watches President Jean-Claude Biver as she accepted the honor, showing off her flawless figure in a gorgeous black dress.

And now for me, it's about trying to keep muscle on and gain muscle, so that, yeah, I don't look too thin. It's very easy, because I have no curves, that I can look really skinny and I don't like that look. So, yes, I'm drinking protein shakes, I'm trying to put on muscle and I'm lifting very heavy weight right now."

She loves to keep up on all the latest trends, and Katie Holmes was planted in the front row at Desigual?s Fall 2015 presentation at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week on Thursday night (February 12).
The lovely ?Dawson?s Creek? actress sat next to supermodel Adriana Lima and Desigual managing director Manel Jadraque as she watched a slew of gorgeous models (including Behati Prinsloo) parade past in some stunning offerings.
Prior to the show, Katie told press, ?I really love the colors for women that will be coming out for the fall, but I have to admit that I do love to wear men?s pieces. Long men?s trenches are the way to go .?.?. I have long arms, so they reach the length of my body better than a women?s coat can.?

Will Smith covers the March issue of Esquire to promote Focus, his heist film with Margot Robbie. Will’s aiming for a comeback after some underperforming films. This is probably Xenu’s fault. Will’s bummed at how After Earth didn’t strike gold. It’s no wonder. Critics described the film was incredibly obvious Scientology propaganda. Hollywood still hasn’t learned lessons from Battlefield Earth. Get thee behind me, Xenu.
This is a long interview. Smith waxes philoshophical about his career, fame, fitness, Ferguson, and parenting. Will’s haven’t attended school in years. Remember the whole quantum physics discussion with Jaden and Willow? They said “education is useless.” Will says Jaden is basically living like a monk (in a fancy mansion) because “the younger generation is less of an ownership generation.” HA. My feeling on Jaden not caring about money is this — it’s easy to think money isn’t necessary when you aren’t hurting for it. Some highlights:
On fame: “I have the spirit of desire to make people’s lives better. Being famous is such a gift for me because small things make people’s lives brighter. You just shake somebody’s hand. You just smile and write your name and people will talk about it for the rest of their lives.”
On Ferguson: “It’s been rough for me trying to find my position in the struggle and where my voice is needed and helpful. You know, I grew up in Philadelphia, and Philadelphia has a really rough police-brutality history. I grew up in a neighborhood where it was very clear that the police were ‘them’ and we were ‘us.’ I also know that when I was seventeen years old, I had a $20,000 car, which made it certain that I got pulled over all the time. I had a red IROC-Z, the full stereo system and the rims and the paint job.”
On staying “cut” at age 46: “I like to look good, but I like my body to function well more than anything. For me, it’s as spiritual and intellectual as it is physical. And emotional. I enjoy pushing myself. There is nothing like having to change your physical form to put you in contact with every weak part of yourself, to train yourself in discipline. You get confronted with all of the things you’ll be confronted with in your marriage, confronted with in your parenting, confronted with in your job. Put somebody on a treadmill and I’ll tell you how good they are at any other thing they do in life.”
On living like a pseudo monk: It’s such a strange thing. Jaden, my sixteen-year-old, he has one pair of shoes. He has three pair of pants and he has five shirts. Total. He has refused to be a slave to money. I so respect that. The younger generation is less of an ownership generation, anyway. And it’s such an interesting thing to watch, because I came from a middle-class background, but, you know, our lights and gas would be cut off from not paying the bill. I grew up in a house where you would need the kerosene heaters in the winter in case the bills didn’t get paid. And he’s from the complete other end of the spectrum. And it’s so interesting to me that from growing up in that space, he could see the need for things in a way that he’s rejecting. He’s like, ‘I’m not gonna let myself need things in that way’ — but I would like him to get another pair of shoes.”

Smith also says, “I’m past cars and jewelry, you know? I don’t even wear a watch.” Well not as many people wear watches anymore. Everyone has a clock on their phone. Unless you enjoy wearing a watch or need GPS capabilities, there’s no reason to wear one. Yahoo says Will is full of it because he and Jaden raved about Cartier watches in a 2013 interview.
I don’t think it’s a matter of Will consciously lying about Jaden’s austeric ways. Will is simply clueless and has no idea what’s really going on with his kids. Jaden is extremely materialistic without realizing it. He pitched a fit on Twitter about not being invited to the Grammys. Oh, and he definitely has more than one pair of shoes. Jaden Instagrammed photos of himself wearing both Uggs & Nikes during the past week.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Blake and her handsome hubby Ryan Reynolds named their baby girl James. An insider told E! News that the happy couple settled on James rather than the previously-stated moniker Violet.

It?s been a decade since she?s given birth and Liv Tyler was thrilled to say hello to her newborn baby son on Wednesday (February 11).
According to multiple sources, the ?Armageddon? actress went into labor about six weeks earlier than expected, and Tyler and her family were initially concerned about the premature birth.
However, Liv?s rep told press that everything is fine so far- ?He?s healthy and everyone is happy.? Baby Tyler has a 10-year-old brother named Milo from Liv?s previous marriage, as well as a 7-year-old brother named Miles from proud papa David Gardner?s prior marriage.

I?ve never gotten Botox or fillers, but it seems like it takes a few weeks for injectibles to ?wear off,? right? Like, at first your face will look puffy and frozen and slowly, the stuff wears off a little bit and everything sort of ?deflates? and you can move your eyebrows and cheeks a little bit. I?m wondering because of the ongoing debate about Uma Thurman?s face.
If you asked me on Tuesday if I was 100% sure that Uma had overdone the Botox and fillers, I would have said ?of course she did.? Then on Wednesday, we heard from Uma?s makeup artist, who claimed that Uma?s new look was simply the product of no eye makeup. While I thought he was full of it, I also have to admit that the lack of eye makeup really did throw off the look of her face. Then on Thursday, Uma appeared on the Today Show and she wore eye makeup and her hair is a little bit different, and she looks relatively normal. Did the Botox and fillers wear off quickly? Or was it all a makeup-induced optical illusion?

When asked about the comments about her Botox work, Uma laughed (or tried to laugh through the ?Tox) and said: ?Um, I don?t know. I guess nobody liked my makeup!… I mean, I?ve been doing this for years and years and years. People say things nice?and they say things mean. It?s just, like, whatever! You know, you take the good with the bad.?
So, she?s still sticking with the story that it was just makeup. Which, granted, I?m now saying that the makeup fail was a big part of this. But I paid close attention to how her face moved as she was speaking, and there?s certainly enough evidence to suggest that she has had injectibles. Her forehead is like granite! But the cheeks aren?t quite so puffy in this interview.

Reese Witherspoon is not your America?s Sweetheart. Maybe she was at one time, but that ended as soon as she drunkenly mouthed off to a police officer in Georgia. Ever since then, she?s been ?leaning in? to her new persona of the anti-sweetheart. Perhaps she?s always been this person and now she?s just owning it more and more. So, should we hold that against her? Does every woman have to aim to please? Does every wife have to be dutiful and submissive? Not at all. But would it hurt to be mildly pleasant to your husband?s coworkers?
Maybe the devil really does wear Prada. That?s certainly the sentiment going around CAA?s offices when Reese Witherspoon drops by.
?Reese is anything but sweet,? says a source inside CAA, where Reese?s husband Jim Toth is a high-powered agent. But while the CAA crew is accustomed to their fair share of A-list visits, Reese is the only one making employees scatter with her icy attitude.
?The staff are terrified of rubbing her the wrong way, so they bend over backwards to please her!? admits the insider, revealing that Reese always likes her favorite brands of tea, bottled water and juice to be on hand. But don?t expect to receive a please or thank you. ?She won?t ever take off her sunglasses because she doesn?t want anyone to make eye contact.?
Jim Toth ?doesn?t want his coworkers to see it, because he?s such a bigwig. He wants the staff to think that he has the upper hand but it?s obvious she wears the pants.?

We should note that Reese is also a CAA client, in addition to being the wife of one of the major agents. I would imagine all of the CAA employees have to scurry around to meet every whim of one of their A-list clients, and it gets a little bit extra when that client is married to one of the agents. But still, can?t you see it? Reese comes storming in, still wearing her sunglasses, and hisses at the first peasant, ?Iced tea, NOW.? She takes in the room and snaps, ?You do not meet my gaze, bitch.?
And in case you?re wondering about the validity of Star?s assessment of Jim and Reese?s marriage, just take another look at Reese and Jim?s arrest video and how Jim is flat-out embarrassed by Reese?s crazy, drunk diva behavior. She?s the mess and he?s the enabler/handler.

Kendall Jenner covers the March issue of Allure magazine. This is her biggest cover so far. She’s fronted Teen Vogue and a few other minor magazines. She’s appeared in US Vogue (a few times) and fronted Vogue Australia. There will probably be a US Vogue cover sometime in the future (because Anna Wintour has completely lost it and given big sister Kim a cover), but Allure is a pretty big score for Kendall.
I’m not a fan of most Allure covers, and this one is no exception. Kendall’s editorial (by Mario Testino) is all about massive, Kelly LaBrock-in-the-1980s hair. Kendall wears several swimsuits and poses with a very famous capuchin monkey. You can see the photos here — the monkey is Marcel from Friends. He’s 21 years old now, which makes me feel old. Here are some interview excerpts. I misled you about the tattoo quote, which actually came from Kim’s mouth first. Kendall holds the words out as truth:
She has acne: “I had just started ninth grade when I got my acne. And I had braces. I wouldn’t look people in the eye. It was not a good time for me — it just killed my self-esteem. I thought when I didn’t look at someone, they couldn’t see my face.”
On coming out of her shell: “I still have a hard time looking at someone when I’m talking to them, and I get nervous. When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out. It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself.”
She has no tattoos: “I have a really weird thing about ‘forever.’ And my sister Kim always said, ‘Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.’
Her modelling dream: “Kylie and I had to grow up in front of people, and it was hard sometimes … but it was never a negative thing. I would read magazines, and I would look at pictures with these women who looked so powerful. I wanted to be that to some little girl or little boy.”

The quote from Kim — tattoos as bumper stickers — is hilarious. I guess implants, Botox, and fillers are no big deal. A tattoo? Now that crosses the line into crassness. The rest of the interview doesn’t do much. Kendall admits to getting a few pimples as a teenager, which made her shy. I’m pretty sure she’s growing out of her shell.
