Kelly Brook is gorgeous so I’d expect rich foreign businessman regularly offer her a million dollars to sleep with them as was the case here.
During a photocall at the Majestic Barriere hotel, a French businessman, only known as Frederic, interrupted the photo session to hit on Kelly Brook. He offered her a $1 million check in return for a one night stand.
At first, Brook thought she was being pranked by Lemon, whose film she’s promoting at Cannes, because no one can be thaaat pathetic. But then the 30-something Frederic kept hassling her and then tried to grab her shouting, “Just one night! Please, one night! I have money!”
That’s when Kelly realized this wasn’t a joke. A bodyguard came, escorted the man away and kicked him out of the hotel.
Geez, man. Have some dignity. Stare at her from outside her bedroom window at night like the rest of us. At least offer her more than $1M. That’s a slap in the face right there.

He?s always a festival favorite, and Brad Pitt was in fine form as he attended the 65th Cannes Film Festival premiere of his new movie ?Killing Them Softly? today (May 22).
Joined by his costars, the ?Mr. and Mrs. Smith? star looked dapper as he worked his magic on the fans and paparazzi outside the Palais des Festivals prior to the screening.
Making for quite the site to be seen, other celebrities packing the glitzy red carpet included a red hot Irina Shayk and her model gal pal Karolina Kurkova, as well as Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Sean "Diddy" Combs, tennis ace Novak Djokovic, Kelly Brook, Alec Baldwin, Cassie, Michelle Rodriguez and Jeremy Irons.
When asked if he was concerned about the level of violence in the film and its affect on his kids, Brad explained, "Not at all. Violence is an accepted part of the gangster world. I'd have a harder time playing a racist than some guy who shoots another guy in the face."
Pitt added, "Ever seen them butcher a cow for hamburger? It's incredibly brutal and violent. We live in a very violent world."

Making her arrival in the South of France, Nicole Kidman was spotted at the Nice Airport earlier today (May 22).
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress looked to be in good spirits as she strolled outside, en route to the 65th Cannes Film Festival.
In a recent interview, Nicole explained her passion for her craft- "I think I still like getting lost in somebody else's world.?
"It's just very rewarding. I don't work as much now because I have a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old that require an enormous amount of time to raise them properly and to be there. So when I go and work, I've got to really feel it. I've got to feel the desire to tell the story."

As I discussed in those halcyon hours before Verizon decided to murder my soul, Brad Pitt told reporters earlier today in Cannes that Angelina Jolie had not come with him for this very special Cannes Film Festival extravaganza. Apparently, Angelina is hard at work, and by that I mean ?she?s boning her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton in his leathery sex shack, of course.? Sigh? I would like to see her other ex-husband?s leathery sex shack. Do you think Jonny Lee Miller has a sex shack nowadays? A question for another day.
So, with Angelina nowhere to be seen, here are some photos from the Cannes premiere of Killing Them Softly, which was produced by and stars Brad Pitt. I can feel Brad looking at Ray Liotta and thinking, ?Sure, he?s a nice guy. But I wish I had a bony hip to clutch and fondle right about now.? WHY DIDN?T ANGELINA COME?! Brad?s tux is meh. From the just-released photos I?m looking at, he didn?t take off his sunglasses for the premiere either. Probably because he looks really old without sunglasses.
Everyone is talking about the very violent content of Killing Them Softly – it is a mob movie, and I believe Brad plays a hit man. During the photo call, Brad was asked about making violent films, and whether he was bothered by playing such a violent character. Brad said, ?Not at all. These are some new photos of Kristen Stewart at LAX yesterday. We had a nice story about Kristen yesterday too – I really liked the way she talked about her cat ?roommate? and her co-parenting relationship with her ?child? – a mutt named Bear that she and Robert Pattinson (mostly him) adopted in Louisiana. K-Stew is cute when she talks about animals, and I had the realization that she?s probably more of an animal person than a people-person, which makes me like her a little bit more. But I?ve also come to this conclusion: Kristen is so much more likeable in small doses. When she does a major magazine or newspaper interview, her personality starts to grate – at least on me. Kristen has a new interview with The Guardian, which? is not very good. It’s not bad, it’s just a whole lot of Kristen. The Guardian?s intensive interviews are notoriously difficult, so I wonder what idiot publicist let Kristen speak to this outlet. The full piece is here, and here are some highlights:
How Kristen decided to become an actor: Her parents were crew members, and she had spent time on film sets where there was a feeling that: “we were all in this together, and we were making something worthwhile”. She takes one of many deep, meaningful breaths. “And then I would see a kid walk around and people would be like: ‘Shhh, that’s the actor, don’t talk to him.’ And I was like, I want a job, I want you guys to talk to me like I matter!”
Feeling trapped in hotel rooms: “I mean, if I walked out of this hotel” ? Claridge’s ? “obviously I’d be screwed. But in London, I am perfectly fine, unless I have a trail of parasites behind me.? The paparazzi are at the hotel entrance when I leave. “But I’m good at evading those little twits. Once I lose them, once no one’s trying to make a buck off you, you know, I’m fine ? I know at this point that there’s a buck to be made, which is weird considering I’m just walking down the street with dirty hair.”
The original Disney Snow White: “In the original she totally represents what a woman wanted to be back then: the ultimate maternal figure. She cleans house really well. It’s just that [women] do more than that now.” Instead they created a “bad-ass, girl power movie”, she says, in which the character’s strength is represented in a realistic way. “We’re not built to take out big guys in armour. So it was really more about being faster and smarter.”
On beauty: She starts talking about how beauty is ruined “if you’re not cool as well. If you don’t have the heart to back up your looks, you are ugly. I’ve met so many people that I thought were so gorgeous and talented and amazing. And then you meet them for one second and you’re like,” she heaves another breath, and spits out emphatically, “‘you are wearing a costume, you are a fake, you are so unattractive’. And it doesn’t always come across in a picture, but you can be really beautiful in a still frame, and then, in life, moving around, you’re ugly. And that’s kind of what the movie’s about.”
Comparing Twilight and SWATH: There’s a big similarity between Snow White and Twilight, she says, in that, “there’s a stage of life represented in both movies that is so impassioned, and it doesn’t know why yet. Do you know what I mean? That was what I really liked about Bella. The fact that she trusted that at some point these feelings are going to make sense, and that she’s not going to let everyone tell her she’s f–king crazy. Also, it was just so,” she takes a big breath, “it was so intense,” she laughs.
She?s intense too: “Yeah, I’m still a very intense person.” She’s 22 now. “I’m chilled out about some things. I’m cool. But definitely, I take things far too seriously … I am just a serious person. I love joking around, and it’s obviously about mood, because sometimes I can definitely be a silly idiot. But most of the time I am like this.” She makes a sound as if her mouth has been suctioned shut. Quite private? “Yeah,” she says. “And I’m overtly aware of f–king everything. I’m always like,” she mimes picking things out of the air, “details, little things. Just obsessive, analytical.”
On Twilight and whether Bella is weak: “I always just very honestly said that that’s not why I did the movie, and it’s not why the book was written,” she says, adding that she finds it frustrating when people read the characters differently to her. “Mostly in this idea that Bella is a weak girl who is just obsessed with these two boys, and doesn’t really think beyond her own needs, and is selfish. And she is, completely, but that’s like the way to live, man! You’ve got to follow your heart. That is actually a really bold way to live, not making concessions, or giving things up … I don’t know why people ignore the sacrifices that Edward makes. I don’t know why the power thing has been viewed the way it’s been viewed, because I just view it so differently.”
Seriously, she always goes off script: “I think in order to do [On the Road] right, in order to make everyone happy ? because there’s a lot of people sitting around going: ‘OK, let’s have it’ ? it had to be spontaneous, it had to have that feeling of never quite knowing where someone’s going to jump or scream,” she says. “So sometimes it was a truer reading of the line to just forget it, and say it your own way.”
On being a commodity: “When you make moving pictures, it’s so easy to become disingenuous,” she says. “It’s so easy to just become a commodity, and I think that’s so embarrassing.” And with that, she finishes her milk.

The Guardian also notes how twitchy Kristen is, and how she?s not the most eloquent young woman, but they also say that it seems like Kristen tries very, very hard to come across as genuine and honest, and that quality is endearing. Still, I have to think The Guardian would have been better off interviewing Charlize Theron or Chris Hemsworth. Poor Kristen – some of this stuff isn?t her fault. She gets bad advice from publicists.

Last year, Angelina Jolie debuted her new jewelry line in association/partnership with jewelry designer Robert Procop. The profits from the ?Style of Jolie? line go to charity – we covered a preview of some of the pieces here. While I don?t think the ?Style of Jolie? line is full-on awful, I do see Angelina?s 1970s-style-influences all over these pieces. She loves a smoky topaz. She loves emeralds. She loves yellow gold, and she likes jewelry that I would call ?chunky?. Best case scenario: I like some of earrings and I would probably wear some of the rings. But in general, this is not my aesthetic, although I should note that ?The Style of Jolie? is getting some love from Hollywood.
Anyway, Procop and Jolie have designed even more pieces for 2012, and Procop gave an interview to People Magazine to talk up the line:
Her engagement ring caused quite a stir, but Angelina Jolie is hoping the latest gems from her jewelry line, Style of Jolie, attract even more attention.
?It?s a labor of love,? Jolie?s co-designer, Robert Procop, tells PEOPLE. That?s in part because 100 percent of profits benefit the actress?s charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. In fact, she?s planning to break ground on a school for girls in Qala Gadu, Afghanistan, using funds from jewelry sales.
?Our commitment is always supporting the children?s charity, which remains the overall intention and purpose of the collection,? Procop adds.
But there?s fun involved, too; Procop says the pair ?strive for nothing less than artistic innovation with every jewel,? like the newest offering, a sleek emerald bracelet.
?She is very classically chic,? he says of Jolie. ?We cultivated this style, which echoes a woman?s timeless allure. When you see the collection, it has a distinction. When you look at it, you recognize that it?s the Style of Jolie.?
Last year, Procop told PEOPLE that Jolie was involved ?every step of the way? in the design process. ?[The collection] is what she enjoys wearing on the red carpet, but also what she enjoys when she?s at home,? he added.
She enjoys wearing it on her ring finger, too; Procop created her engagement ring with input from her longtime partner, Brad Pitt. According to a rep for the jeweler, ?the feedback [on the ring] has been wonderful. It?s all about love.?

We can’t use the image of the new emerald bracelet (it?s just an emerald tennis bracelet set in yellow gold – it?s pretty but kind of dated), but you can see it at People online. I also looked around and Procop does have a site and there are lots of photos of The Style of Jolie line, which you can see here (I?m including some images below). I could totally see my mom wearing this stuff – back in 1979, while wearing a fashion-forward muumuu.

We haven’t paid attention to the Usher custody drama yet, because to be honest the stories broke late in the day yesterday. This Usher story is juicy gossip-wise, but there are kids involved so that makes it more sad than salacious. As background, Usher and Tameka Foster divorced in the summer of 2009. They have two boys together: Usher Raymond V, four and a half, and Naviyd, three and a half. It’s been about three years since Usher filed for divorce and they are still fighting over custody issues. It may have to do with the on-off nature of their relationship, at least toward the end of their marriage, (Usher’s song “Papers” is said to be about Tameka) but it sounds more like petty fighting. If Usher’s testimony is to be believed, it’s all Tameka’s fault.
As background, Usher, 33, has a history of dating older women and letting them take over as managers of his career. He did this with Tameka, pushing his mom out as manager, and he did this about a year ago with his current girlfriend, 44 year-old music executive Grace Miguel. Usher testified in court that during a routine hand-of of Usher, Jr., Tameka spit on Grace, took a swing at her, and threw a plate of food at their car. According to Usher, Grace was back in the car at the end of the driveway. Tameka got so mad at him for daring to bring him with her that she trounced down to the car and started screaming at Grace, saying things like “I’m going to kick your ass,” and “Bitch get out of the car.” When Usher tried to block Tameka from attacking Grace, she hit him instead.
Usher blasted his ex-wife in court today — testifying that Tameka Foster flew into a jealous rage, hitting him, throwing food, and worst of all … spitting on his girlfriend.
Usher took the stand in his ongoing child custody trial with his ex, and under questioning by his attorney, revealed how Tameka once went ballistic and “wanted to fight” … when he showed up at her house with his new sidepiece.
Ush testified Tameka walked to his car and said, “I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?”
He added, “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.”
Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka … who then hit him. Usher said he pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims “she threw a plate of food at the car” … as he fled the situation.
You gotta hear Usher describe the intense showdown — and remember, Tameka previously testified she once told the gf, “I will f**k you up.”

Usher seemed really earnest, and honest, when he was recalling this. (Video is below and available on TMZ) Either he’s an excellent actor, which is possible since he’s a celebrity and an entertainer, or he’s telling the truth as he saw it. We’ve heard all sorts of stories about what a whack job Tameka is, so I believe it. Usher married her, though, and he knew what he was getting into, considering that he backed out of the first marriage ceremony at Clive Davis’ house at the last minute. He probably realized within a few months that he never should have gone back and made it official.
TMZ has another clip from Usher’s testimony, in which he cries over allegations that he’s a bad dad and parties in front of his boys. He denied that, and it was hard to hear but I think they showed a photo of him smoking pot. He countered that he was in Holland at the time. This whole thing really made me feel sorry for Usher.

Tomorrow, Kristen is scheduled to attend the premiere of her new flick ?On The Road? as part of the 65th Cannes Film Festival.
Based on the book by Jack Kerouac, ?On The Road? also stars Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, and Garrett Hedlund.

Here are some photos of Brad Pitt at the Cannes Film Festival photo call for his latest film, Killing Them Softly. Bitch got old!!! I mean, I like Brad and everything, and I?m not trolling for 20 million comments about ?Angelina sucked out his hotness.? But he looks really old here. Part of it is that he?s rapidly approaching 50 years on this earth, and he doing it (somewhat?) naturally. Another part of it is that Brad doesn?t seem to be taking very good care of his skin, right? Maybe it?s less about Angelina sucking out his hotness and more about Brad needing to borrow Angelina?s night cream, moisturizer and ?eye lift in a bottle?. Sidenote: I think Brad and I are wearing the same white V-neck. Sidenote #2: Is Brad?s haircut ?The Rachel?? LOL.
Speaking of Angelina, she?s not there. She didn?t come with Brad to Cannes, like everyone hoped she would. Brad told reporters that she didn?t come because ?she?s prepping a movie? (Maleficent), so no Brangelina photos on the red carpet tonight. That?s so disappointing! WORST CANNES EVER.
Brad was also asked about his wedding plans, or lack thereof. He told reporters, ?We have no date. We actually, really, truly have no date.? He dismissed the story of a summer wedding as just a ?rumor? too. And he made it seem like the wedding would be a long way away, saying, ?I hope we figure out marriage equality in the states before that date.? Good God! Did Pres. Obama come out for gay marriage just to get Brad and Angelina down the aisle?!?
Brad?s Killing Them Softly costar, Ray Liotta, was also at the photo call. Would you still hit it? Liotta is looking pretty rough too, but I have to admit? I have such a residual, long-standing crush on him, I would probably still hit it. I love his eyes and his voice.

Kelly Brook is what the Brits call a ?glamour model?. That basically means that she has a career based on posing in various bikinis and bras. She?s not a runway model, but Kelly does have some high-profile ad campaigns here and there. She does some acting too, mostly B and C-rated stuff where she plays a version of herself. Which is why she?s at the Cannes Film Festival – she has an appearance in some funky-sounding British film that screening at the festival, and Kelly has gone all out with costume changes and red carpet appearances. These photos of Kelly in the silver, one-sleeved gown are from last night?s premiere of Vous N’avez Encore Rien Vu. She looks beautiful, I think, but? I mean, Kelly just seems like a sweet girl and not much else. She?s got a great figure, a pretty face and a sweet personality and? that?s enough, isn?t it? That?s enough for her to build a career and a sizeable fortune and most men are absolutely crazy for her.
Which brings me to this story, via the British tabloids. Apparently, just before this red carpet appearance, a man accosted Kelly in the middle of a press conference – and the man offered her $1 million to spend the night with him. She was publicly Indecent Proposal?d.
She may only be starring in Keith Lemon’s film, but Kelly Brook is already being thought of as a Hollywood star. The 32-year-old model was recently approached by a French businessman who wanted her to re-enact a moment from hit film Indecent Proposal where Demi Moore spends the night with a stranger in return for $1million.
Following the bizarre request, Brook put the incident behind her and wowed onlookers at the annual event wearing a stunning silver dress. According to The Mirror, the businessman who is known only as Frederic, interrupted a photocall session which Brook was attending at the Majestic Barriere hotel and offered her a cheque for ?1million in return for ‘one night’ with her. Brook was a bit confused at first and thought it was nothing more than a prank set up by Lemon – whose film she was promoting at the 65th Cannes Film Festival.
But Frederic, who is said to be in his thirties, wouldn’t give up and allegedly tried to grab the brunette.
‘Just one night! Please, one night! I have money!’ he shouted as Brook suddenly realised there was a problem. A bodyguard came to the rescue and escorted the man away and was ejected from the French hotel. And despite perhaps being a bit shaken up, Brook continued her photo shoot and showed no signs being freaked out as she graced the red carpet today.
In fact, the model-turned-actress looked stunning as she arrived at the Vous N’avez Encore Rien Vu premiere. Wearing the metallic floor-length gown, the Piranha 3D star showed off some leg as it featured a thigh-high split and teamed the dress with a jewelled boxed clutch bag.

Let?s set aside the fact that this man probably had some mental health issues. I?m always interested in the Indecent Proposal question, because (my opinion) most women would probably do it under a certain set of conditions and stipulations (like, no butt stuff). In the movie, it was Robert Redford who did the ?indecent proposing? – and let?s face it, many, many women would probably pay Robert Redford for one night with him – especially back in his heyday, when he was so amazing and beautiful (I would pay to have one night with him circa Three Days of the Condor). But if a normal, relatively sane man offered you $1 million for a night?s activities, who would take it? Who wouldn?t, in this economy? Get your money upfront, ladies. That?s my only word of advice.

The 2012 edition of Maxim’s “Hot 100? list has been revealed by the men’s magazine, but this year is a bit different because readers were actually allowed to participate within the election. The very top spot on the list has been secured by none other than Bar Refaeli, and I actually agree with this selection. Bar is gorgeous and has a very well-proportioned body that just doesn’t quit. She also seems to have an adventurous spirit and (for a supermodel) a relatively quick wit as well. In a (well-rehearsed?) display of humility, Bar has spoken out on her surprise at being named in the #1 spot by Maxim’s readers. Surely, she can’t be surprised at being called utterly gorgeous on a near daily basis, right?
The supermodel (and Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend) tops Maxim’s Hot 100 list this year – and it’s not hard to see why.
Refaeli tells the magazine in its issue, on stands May 29, that she was “shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I’m number one.” Meanwhile, Maxim’s editors say the Israeli beauty “puts the ‘promise’ in the Promised Land.”
Refaeli has made the list before – landing in last year’s top 10, in fact.
Other beauties included in the new issue include Blake Lively; Charlize Theron; Rihanna; and Amanda Knox.

The rest of the list is, well, interesting because for some reason, Stephen Colbert shows up at #69. Amanda Knox also sneaks in towards the end of the list as well. I can?t really say that Jay-Z?s thoughts on gay marriage were the most concise endorsement of the human rights agenda, but Jay – to his credit – got the ball rolling, and now more and more black entertainers are coming out in support of gay marriage. In the Jay-Z story, I gave my reasons for why I thought it was important for black entertainers and prominent, respected African-Americans to speak out in favor of gay rights – go here to read it. So, 50 cent has now joined the fray. And surprisingly enough, he comes out in support of gay marriage, saying in part:
?I?m cool. I would like people to actually be happy. Technically I don?t see where it fits into any religion. The Bible that they would read to marry you, it doesn?t have anything in it that says same-sex. If it does, then I would like someone to point out that interpretation. I?ve encouraged same-sex activities. I?ve engaged in fetish areas a couple times. I?m for it. I?m wondering if I?m bad for promoting it when the president says it?s fine.?
?I think everyone should be happy. I think a fool is going to go against same sex marriage at this point? Look how long it took him [Obama] to say he was for same sex marriages. You understand? I?m up for it. If everyone else is for it, then hey, to each his own. I don?t have personal feelings towards it because I?m not involved in that lifestyle. I want people to be happy. It makes for everything to be better.?

But of course, 50 giveth and 50 taketh away. In the same interview, 50 cent claimed: ?We need organisations for straight men. We do. We need organisations for straight men in the case you?ve been on the elevator and somebody decides they want to grab your little buns. Times are changing. Those organizations are set up for at one point they were being attacked for those choices. Now its completely different. Obviously [homosexuality] is more socially accepted.? *insert John Travolta joke*
Of course, 50 cent has a long history of homophobic comments, some of which kind of border on hate speech and the promotion of anti-gay violence. GLAAD issued a fatwa against him back in 2010, that?s how bad it got. So? is this a whole new 50 cent? Is he just finding out that gay rights are trendy now? Or did he just have a gradual change of heart? I don?t even know. Eh.

I?m not going to pretend that Bruce Willis?s Esquire cover story for the June issue is a laugh-a-minute. Bruce Willis is not a good interview. At all. And Esquire’s Tom Chiarella (a writer who has done some of the worst & bitchiest profiles for Esquire, but who also did that Liam Neeson sob-fest) makes that very clear by spending too much time writing about Bruce?s bathroom trips (he pees five times in two hours) and pear-eating (he eats five pears in two hours). Bruce agreed to the cover story because he has five movies coming out this year: Moonrise Kingdom, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Expendables 2, The Cold Light of Day and Rian Johnson’s Looper. And he?s currently filming the fifth Die Hard, of course. Now, Chiarella does make an excuse for Bruce?s lack of humor, personality and interest – the interview took place just a few days before Bruce?s wife Emma Heming gave birth, and he obviously wanted to be with her and not sitting down with Esquire. Bruce says, ?All I want right now is to be with her, to stare at her belly.” Which is kind of cute, until you realize that he?s using that as an excuse to not give a good interview. On the latest Die Hard: “I’d call it what it is: Die Hard 5.” But he gets no say, so this time John McClane will live through A Good Day to Die Hard? No matter, he says. “I’m glad to have John McClane. There is no turmoil about it for me. I eschew turmoil. I just try to go to work, and concentrate on coming home to my girls.”
He isn?t into drama: “I don’t have an ax to grind,” he says. “I don’t have anything I want to say. I might have gone off once. I might have started in ? Hollywood! With the ‘tough town, tough business, tough life.’ Generating a little context for me and my turmoil. But I don’t have a tough life. I know that? I’m happy. Actively happy. I eschew turmoil.”
Working with Wes Anderson in Moonrise Kingdom: He’s surprisingly great therein, although he claims he’s not an actor. “I don’t think I’m very good at it,” he says of acting. “But I like doing it, and a guy like Wes, even he’d say this movie was outside the body of his past work. And that was me. So I listened to what he was saying, and we got the work done.” As a sheriff and a kind of childless father, Willis plays the first-ever full-blown-adult Wes Anderson character to possess a true moral compass, one stripped of eccentricity, contrivance, fetish. Likable and unself-conscious, Willis quietly out-acts Anderson’s usual stable of pajama-wearing accents, unclipping real human kindness from the sherbet palette of the film, treating said kindness without pride, like something you might find in a desk drawer. “Storyteller,” he says of Anderson. “The movie is a kind of eternal children’s story. The kids adventure, the adults worry. But it’s a brand-new creation, and it felt very unusual to me.”
The gym: Willis details nothing about the workout, calling it only “the gym.” He’s going back at 4:00. The gym. It’s not a requirement. “That’s just me,” he says. “I’m coming off a phase where I allowed myself baked goods. I sought them out. I did not hold back on baked goods. So, the gym? The day this job gets tough will be the day I can’t run. The day I can’t move quickly or knock somebody out ? at least look like I knocked somebody out, convincingly. There is a limit. An end point. It’s mostly physical. So, the gym.”
On politics: “I get cranked up, I start talking about Hollywood and what’s wrong with what. Or politics. I might start in on Mitt Romney.” Romney? “Yeah, Romney. He’s just such a disappointment, an embarrassment. Chin up, hair up. He’s just one of those guys, one of those guys who says he’s going to change everything? And he’ll get in there, and they’ll smile at him and introduce themselves: ‘We’re Congress, we make sure nothing changes.’ He won’t do it. He can’t. Everybody wants to be Barack Obama. And what did he change?” You think Romney’ll win? “No. Nah. I don’t really care.”
Bruce?s fun times: “Now I’m fun, just with fewer people. I’m in love with my wife and my kids. I require very little. Friends come over, the kids come over when they can. We eat dinner. And I’m happy to play along with their momentum. I save it for them. This is it. I’m happy. This is how I’m doing. That’s my fun.”
His favorite movie: “I like a little movie I did in the early nineties called Mortal Thoughts. The part was hardly written, but I learned a lot making it. No one remembers it.”
What he misses: “Every once in a while I want to go to a diner. I want to go to Junior’s. Or Nate ‘n Al’s. A good, cheap diner. That’s an East Coast thing. Like the rice pudding in New York. So good. Only in diners. I search for it here, but it’s not the same. Though there’s a place on Fairfax. I can’t think of the name.”
Parenting rules: “Sometimes I have to resist the urge to speak. I learned it from dealing with my kids. That’s my number-one rule. It applies in life? But it’s more about being a father. I’d rather hear what they have to say. You learn more by listening. And this stuff is just a matter of not equating drama with actions that will help them. Teach them to shun drama.”
More rules: “Take responsibility for when you are wrong? They hear you own up, and they learn to own up?.You have to give them a code? Beginning with things like ‘Don’t bite people.’ That becomes something like ‘It’s not okay to be mean. Ever.’ That was our watchword when the girls were younger.” Willis’s fifth element: “I make them laugh. You gotta do the drool-take, gotta make them see that goofiness is still safe. You have to make them laugh at you.”

He comes across as? I don?t even know. I was going to say tightly-wound, but I don?t think that?s right. Like, he?s hyper-conscious of how he puts himself out there, extra-careful about any public statement. Other movie stars are like that too, of course, but they?re not this obvious about it. Still, I like Bruce?s parenting rules and I liked what he said about getting to the point where he might not be able to do physical roles anymore. Maybe he?s a completely different person in real life. He would have to be, wouldn?t he?

Out grabbing a morning pick me up before heading to work, Jessica Alba was spotted at The Coffee Bean before going to her Santa Monica, CA office on Monday (May 21).
The brunette beauty looked casually chic in a flowing maxi dress paired with a denim vest, sandals and sunglasses while ordering her refreshment before starting the day.
In career news, Miss Alba will hit the set again soon for the sequel to her previous 2005 film "Sin City."
"Sin City 2" is set to hit theaters this October and so far the 31-year-old actress and her co-star Mickey Rourke have signed on to the film.
In a recent interview with Empire director Robert Rodriguez explained that the second film will relate even closer to Frank Miller's graphic novels adding, ?I really held back the first time, because I didn?t know whether audiences would go for it. So it ended up looking like a real movie, but in black and white, with a few flourishes. This one is going to push way further towards the books. It?s going to shock and surprise people.?
At this time no other stars have been announced but Rodriguez admits he has been talking to some ?seriously big names? that you just might see in the October 4th release.
