“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. “There was no chemistry.”
The pair — who met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day — first sparked rumors of a romance when she hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been spotted on several wholesome dates — like their frozen yogurt date at Menchie’s alongside Swift’s mom earlier this month — and have each coyly alluded to their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs.
However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift’s birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals.
“He liked her more than she liked him,” the source tells Us. “He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”
Lucky for Lautner, the split won’t inspire angry songs like those written about ex Joe Jonas — who dumped Swift during a 27-second phone call in 2008.
“They plan to stay friends,” the source says.
In fact, Swift — whose friend says she is a “hopeless romantic” who “wants everything she writes about” in her songs — will likely reunite with the Twilight hunk when they begin promoting Valentine’s Day, out Feb. 12.
What? I’m sorry, I fell asleep. Jesus, these two are boring. No wonder Taylor & Taylor Time got canceled. I like Taylor Swift though, so if we can just find another Taylor for her to date then we can still have Taylor & Taylor Time. It’ll be just like when they switched Darrins on “Bewitched”.

At the moment the twins sleep a good six or seven hours, and wake up as late as 7am – they are being incredibly cooperative! Your children are your priority; you do everything you can to make sure they are content. And you get into bed at night thinking of all the things you did wrong, and you hope things will be better the next day. I think women tend to put more pressure on themselves to do everything exceptionally well, which is an impossibility. But most working mothers probably do a lot better than I do, with far less support than I have. So I don’t think that I’m any champion. I muddle through the best that I can,” Parker tells.

She’s never far from drama, and the latest issue in Kim Kardashian’s life has to do with a belligerent cookie diet guru.
According to a report, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe is being sued by the man behind Dr. Siegel’s Cookie Diet for defaming the plan in a Twitter post.
The lawsuit suggests that Kim called the diet “unhealthy” on her Twitter page due to her position as a spokesperson for the rival QuickTrim weight loss program.
And while no specific numbers are being released, it is speculated that Dr. Siegel is looking to cash in on the lawsuit.

Jude Law has been having a surprisingly good few weeks. He?s back with Sienna Miller, who is probably the closest thing Jude has to a soulmate. His supporting/lead turn as Dr. ?Hotson? Watson was rewarded with a huge box office, and a Sherlock Holmes sequel is now pretty much definite. And he didn?t take too much of a hit when he managed to forget his fourth child (with random baby-mama Samantha Burke) while on The Late Show. Oh, and he still hasn?t met his fourth child. So does that make it a good month? I have no idea.
Anyway, as part of Sherlock?s promotion, Jude sat down for an interesting interview with Parade Magazine. I?ve never really heard Jude talk this way - he discusses how he?s never had any luck being a ?good boy? and that ?women like bad boys.? Jude also acknowledges what I think of as his self-defeating nature - just when his career in back on track, he screws up in his personal life. Jude says: ?People seem more interested in setting someone up as this bad person, and that disheartens me a little. We all mess up, but we’re equally capable of making it better, of healing wounds.? Aw. Now I feel for him a little.
Sherlock Holmes gave him his start.
“My first job or second job was on TV in the Sherlock Holmes TV series. I played a stable boy. It was much more staid and cerebral, nothing like what Robert and I do. We play Holmes and Watson getting their boots dirty and their knuckles sore and it was fun. I was very confident in Guy’s vision of how he wanted to attack this beloved legacy with a contemporary twist. If we felt a little pressure that was good thing. It just amps you up a bit.”
Bonding with Downey.
“Robert and I really did have a rapport. It was very much like Holmes and Watson, who were a team. We all have friends in our lives who dare us to do and go places that we wouldn’t necessarily want to go in our lives. But when you do, after you experience it, sometimes you feel more fulfilled. And the two of them together are exactly that. That’s what they did for each other. And there was some in that in my relationship with Robert.”
As for relationships with the opposite sex…
“I think women like bad boys. That’s been my experience. I just think it’s kind of a given. You know, at a certain age you figure out what works for you and being a good boy never worked for me. And if you’re a bad boy, they like it. But, eventually, you have to grow up and realize relationships are hard work. It’s like cultivating anything. They need attention.”
So cut him a little slack about his past.
“People seem more interested in setting someone up as this bad person, and that disheartens me a little. We all mess up, but we’re equally capable of making it better, of healing wounds. It’s just a matter of keeping your head on straight. There’s a downside to every life. There’s a downside to every career. And the downside to my career is the attention I get for what I do. But you learn to deal with it. It’s like a fly buzzing around your head. You just have to learn to ignore the fly.”

“Being a daddy is what counts. I’ve been busy rehearsing that in real life for more than 10 years. I used to sleep until noon, but it’s not so bad to have to get up at 7 and give them breakfast. My daughter made me realize that if there’s anything that’s going to make a man of you, it’s having your will broken by a little girl.”

It was daunting, and I’m ready for a rest, but it was great to be back on stage, especially on Broadway.”
Some advice he took to heart.
“My dad used to tell me that if I was going to be late for something, then I have to enjoy being late. I think it means if you’re running late, don’t get uptight and worry about it, sit back and enjoy the day until you get to the place you’re going. So I always thought that was a great piece of advice.”

I want to like Jude, you know? When I?m watching him in films, sometimes I?m just blown away by him. He was/is a very talented actor, but I just wish he didn?t come across so skeezy in interviews and in life. I mean, ?bad boy?? Seriously? What are we, 13 years old? Grow up and man up. If he?s going to stay with Sienna, that sounds like an okay plan. It might keep him from impregnating random women? except probably not. Sigh? oh, Jude. I will continue to have mixed feelings about you.

This is Angelina Jolie doing reshoots in New York for her film Salt, which will come out next summer. Yes, we?ve seen this costume before - Angelina in a (faux?) fur cap and cloak. Thankfully, it doesn?t look like Angelina is wearing that ugly, cheap-looking blonde wig that is heavily featured in the trailer. Nor is she wearing the much more fabulous black banged wig, but whatever.
Angelina is looking very ?Boris and Natasha? right? Very Russian. Which I guess is good, considering the film is about Angelina?s Madame Salt maybe being a Russian double agent. Although I think, in the real world, if you?re accused of being some kind of covert Russian spy, you would probably want to avoid any outfit that makes you look like you?re a Rocky & Bullwinkle villain. Or an outfit that could pass for something one of the pre-revolution bourgeois Russians wore in Doctor Zhivago. It?s like if you were accused of being a Canadian spy and showed up everywhere wearing maple leaf clothing. A bit on the nose!
Also, I suspect this scheduled reshoot was probably the reason the Brangelina clan didn?t go off to some exotic locale for the holidays. Mama had to work! But still, there are reports coming out of New York that indicate that the kids are enjoying their New York stay - lots of hot chocolate and hanging out with street vendors. Good times.

Stepping out for an evening retail romp, Lindsay Lohan was spotted making her way around SoHo, New York City on Monday (December 28).
The “Mean Girls” starlet was joined by her sister Ali and a few friends, dropping by the Intermix boutique to pick up some new wardrobe additions.
Meanwhile, the NY Daily News continues to tell that Miss Lohan is secretly dating Gucci model Adam Senn.
Claiming that she introduced him to her family last Tuesday, their source tells, “Dina [Lindsay’s mom] really likes him. She thinks he is ‘good for her.’ Everything that’s gone on between Lindsay and her dad has really taken a toll on her. Adam is the one really positive thing going on in her life.”
The insider continues, “Adam is a good guy and Lindsay is definitely starting to turn to him when things get bad.”

Showing off her darkened brunette hairdo, Britney Spears was spotted being chauffeured around West Hollywood, California on Monday (December 28).
Sporting her trusty Pink booties, the “Gimme More” singer made her way over to the popular Mondrian Hotel - doing her best to sneak into the entrance without being noticed.
The sighting comes just after Miss Spears found herself voted to the top spot in a Best Live Acts of 2009 poll by CNS readers for her work on the Circus tour.
Also making the 2009 top-acts lineup were Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Pink and Green Day - who rounded out the top 5 listings.

Making the most of their family holiday, Heidi Klum and Seal took the kiddies ice skating in Aspen, Colorado on Monday afternoon (December 28).
Decked out in their winter gear, the happy family shared a handful of Kodak moments as Seal snapped away on his camera from the sidelines while his supermodel wife showed off her skills on the ice with Leni, Johan and Henry.
Of getting away during the holiday season, Seal recently told Britain’s Closer magazine, “We always try to have a white Christmas each year, so we’re going to go to the snow. We’ll rent a house in whatever resort we go to, and it’s guaranteed to be very noisy. Heidi dresses everyone up on Christmas Eve and they open their presents, it’s great fun.”
He adds, “Heidi’s done a couple of things since Lou was born, but she’s not working until January (10). You have to put your foot down come Christmas time - there are so many jobs that both of us have turned down.”

Soaking up the Florida sunshine, the former Playmate of the Year donned a skimpy black two-piece swimsuit as she strolled the shoreline in search of the perfect waterfront perch.
Meanwhile, Miss Silvstedt was able to fit in quality family time over the Christmas holidays - hanging out with her mother and pregnant sister, Veronica.
