Celebrating her latest flick, Olivia Munn took her handsome boyfriend Aaron Rodgers to the industry party for the premiere of ?Deliver Us From Evil? on Tuesday night (June 24).
Clad in a lovely Vionnet dress with Casadei heels and Fred Leighton jewelry, the ?Attack of the Show? star was all smiles at the Skylark venue as she posed for photos.
Earlier in the evening, Ms. Munn explained why she didn?t bring Aaron onto the red carpet ahead of the special screening.
"That seems a little strange to walk [together]. The carpet's work, you know? I don't go on the [football] field with him. The afterparty we'll hang out and stuff, but the red carpet, it's work. It's interesting when you have some people walk the carpet. Some people do that, but for me...I just...this, this is work."

These are some new photos of Christian Bale walking with his family in Santa Monica yesterday. Christian is usually pretty good at avoiding the paps, but they caught him anyway. He looks like the average family man here, right? Beard, sunglasses, bad shorts, and flip flops. He’s still carrying some of his American Hustle weight around, but that could be some sympathy weight for his very pregnant wife, Sibi. She looks pretty close to her due date, which will make 8-year-old Emmeline a big sister.
I was thinking about Christian yesterday in light of Gary Oldman’s inflammatory Playboy interview. Remember when Bale was considered trouble in Hollywood? There was some drama with his mom and sister, and Bale cut off contact with them. Then he was outed for yelling at a lighting technician on the Terminator: Salvation set. During the entire rant, Christian dropped plenty of f-bombs, but notice how he did not drop any slurs against minorities? That’s telling.
Christian has plenty of projects in the chute, including a couple of Terrence Malick films that will probably be Oscar-baity to the max. His name came up as a possibility for True Detective S2, but his publicist denied his involvement. Christian doesn’t seem like a good fit for television. He’d rather keep his nomadic, pap-avoiding lifestyle intact. Enjoy these pics of Christian because there probably won’t be too many for awhile!

Taking care of her promotional duties, Olivia Munn made her rounds in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon (June 24).
Following a visit to the ?Today? show, the ?Newsroom? hottie strolled up the street and smiled for the shutterbugs in a green shirt vest with white shorts and bright yellow heels.
Ms. Munn has been plugging her new movie ?Deliver Us From Evil,? and it sounds like she freaked herself and her friends out with her latest project.
Olivia explained, ?I literally brought more crucifixes into the house because that?s what wards off the bad spirits. We have sage and we have crosses in my house. They are everywhere! I did bring them into my house in a bigger way than I had before.?
Furthermore, ?I took my best guy friend to an early screening and after we got into the car. He was driving and he popped a Xanax (anti-anxiety pill) and he looked at me and said, ?I love you and support everything you do but I will never see this movie again!? That?s a good scary movie.?

Maggie Gyllenhaal is promoting The Honourable Woman, a new BBC drama about the Israel-Palestine conflict. The show is a thriller with the US and the UK involved (thus the participation of the MI6 and CIA), and murders and kidnappings happen. Maggie often chooses heavy material in her acting career, and this project is no exception. Maggie’s been living in London to work on the show, and she admits to adopting an English accent even during her off-work hours. Yep, she’s one of those expat Americans. I bet that’s the only thing she has in common with the likes of Madonna and Goop.
Maggie did a new interview with the Independent. She talks about the show and some of its political implications. She also reveals the real reason why she went shockingly blonde at Cannes this year. Maggie’s already a brunette again, but the hair discussion seems surprisingly poignant. It kinda hit home for a shallow person like myself who is obsessed with hair problems. Some excerpts please:
Her career: “There are never many excellent projects Every year there are a few and you just hope you can be lucky enough to be involved in them. I feel like I’ve had maybe two or three projects in my life that have been extraordinary. And then other times you’re just trying to find a way through something that’s slightly less than extraordinary… But that’s OK. That’s how we all live!”
Her new home: “I love London — I really feel like I know this city I know where to go grocery shopping, I know where the playgrounds are, I have friends here. And I really like doing an English accent. I just talk all day long in the accent so I don’t have to have this embarrassing moment — more than once — of switching. It’s almost like having an alter ego, or like becoming fluent in another language.”
Kids change everything: “I find it difficult to stay politically informed with two little kids, and working. I started running, and listening to this [radio] news station, so I’d at least get the headlines and hear half an interview. And that was enough to get me angry about the things I thought were wrong in the world, and excited about where things were right. But I’ve kinda fallen off of running, so I’m having a hard time. Having children has changed my outlook on life in every way I can’t even remember how I looked at things before I had my kids — it’s completely shifted everything. It’s really hard having children.”
Her drastic hair change: “I dyed my hair blonde because I wanted to feel better about myself. I do like it blonde, but it doesn’t make you happy. The truth is: it was a long hard winter and I thought, maybe this will change my life. But it never does. I should know that by now, I’m 36 years old.”
On The Honourable Woman: “On either side of the Israel-Palestine issue there are people with a vice grip on their point of view — and I don’t think that’s serving anybody And if our show for 10 seconds allows that grip to loosen on either side — if something in the hearts of people opens for 10 seconds — I’ll feel like something was accomplished. I don’t think that’s the only point of art, but it can be a very effective purpose in making movies, and all kinds of art: that it can change your mind by affecting your heart.”

I wonder if Maggie’s “long hard winter” had less to do with adjusting to London weather and more with (possibly) living away from husband Peter Sarsgaard. They used to live in Brooklyn together. He’s been working on his own projects, and Maggie has previously admitted to struggling with the work-family balance. It IS really hard having children, but I suspect Maggie does have help. That doesn’t make it easy to be an ocean away from your spouse, but I’m completely reading into the situation.
The hair obsession hits home for many women. I’ve done drastic hair changes too, and it never works out as planned. My hair is awful right now because of a highlighting mishap two years ago. No color would cover it, and the highlights kept coming through. I finally got tired of the Jared Leto ombre and chopped it off a few weeks ago. Super short. I thought it would make me feel better to have a solid hair color again, but I can’t wait for it to grow. Did Maggie really think going blonde would change her life? Maybe. I’m jealous that she was able to go back to brunette with little effort.

This story was in the last Enquirer’s Gossip section. The Enquirer sported a makeover starting with their latest issue. While our friend Stacie didn’t like it, I think it’s a nice change from the older Enquirer layout, and that it’s cleaner and easier to read. Anyway Mike Walker’s gossip section is much improved. He had this believable tidbit about Katherine Heigl flipping out because some lackey spelled her name wrong on her dressing room for her new NBC show, State of Affairs. Instead of handling the situation on her own, Katherine called her mom, natch, who read someone the riot act and eventually got the person responsible fired. To be fair, this story doesn’t directly state that Katherine’s mom demanded the person get canned, but it’s implied.
“It’s Katherine with a K!” bellowed… Katherine Heigl, who walked onto the set of her new NBC spy series “State of Affairs” and discovered a major misspelling of her name on the dressing room door – “Catherine” with a C instead of a K, and worse, “Heigl” with an “e” added at the end! “That is NOT my name!” shouted Katherine with a “K” – who’s kranky even on good days. “I’m the star and they can’t even get my name right? Are you f*ing kidding me?!” Said my on-set source. “In a rage, Katherine phoned momager Nancy and demanded she find out the culprit and get her name corrected immediately. It turned out the mistake was made by a new assistant director – who’s now looking for a new job!”

It’s unacceptable to have the star’s name spelled wrong on their dressing room, and it is incredibly incompetent. How can someone make such a basic mistake? Still, all Katherine needed to do was point out the error and it would have been taken care of. Throwing a fit and demanding to know who did it is unnecessary and unprofessional.
Katherine’s mom is her manager, so it makes some sense that she called her. We’ve heard from many well established outlets that Katherine’s attitude, and her pushy mom, have been costing her jobs and may be why her romcom career is over. A couple of months ago, Star Magazine claimed that Katherine was ready to fire her mom but that obviously hasn’t happened yet.
Switching gears to a nicer story about Katherine, People had a profile this week of her animal charity, The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, named after her late brother. Katherine’s charity helps find homes for dogs, provides funds to move dogs to no-kill shelters, and helps families pay to spay and neuter their pets. Katherine has 8 dogs, 11 horses, 2 donkeys and 10 chickens at home with her husband Josh and their two daughters, Naleigh, 5, and Adelaide, 2. Included with her 8 dogs is a pup named Billie Bean, whom she rescued from Sochi. Cute!

Jennifer Garner hosted the Thirst Project’s annual Thirst Gala at the Beverly Hilton last night. The Thirst Project is a charity organized by college students to bring clean water to needy communities and more awareness to the cause. Organizers travel to high schools and colleges to help inspire young people to start their own charity projects. Founder Seth Maxwell writes that they’ve raised over $8 million in just five years.
Getting back to the superficial, Garner looked comfy and chic in a a black jumpsuit paired with black heels. I don’t have a designer ID on this outfit, and believe me I looked, but it’s possibly Max Mara, as Garner represents the brand. Plus she wore a similar black Max Mara pantsuit to the Draft Day premiere a couple of months ago. (The closest jumpsuits I could find were by Halston Heritage and BCBG Maxazaria. I want the BCBG jumpsuit, it’s so cute.)
Jennifer accessorized with a diamond tennis bracelet and some stunning drop earrings. I wonder if Ben bought her that jewelry, although it was possibly loaned to her. After we heard that Ben has been gambling heavily in Detroit, where he’s filming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, People Magazine ran a puff piece about how Jennifer wasn’t bothered by her husband’s gambling. A source told them “She never understood his gambling obsession and she doesn’t want him to be in the news [for it]. [But] she’s the most patient wife ever and is still very much in love with Ben.”
People also had details of a jewelry shopping trip that Ben took to Barneys with his youngest daughter, Seraphina (there just happen to be photos) to pick out diamonds for Jennifer for their ninth anniversary. The couples’ ninth anniversary is coming up on June 29th. Ben lucked out with such an understanding wife, and he’ll tell you as much.
Here’s a nice look at Jennifer’s long ponytail. Those are extensions, right? Oh and Garner did an interview with Elle a couple of weeks ago promoting her work with Neutrogena. She dished on her skincare routine and her workout sessions, which involve working with a trainer at her home at 5:30 every morning.

Here is Kaley Cuoco turning heads when she showed off her toned midriff following a yoga class in Los Angeles.
She is practiced at temperatures above 100 degrees… before heading to her car wearing just a bra-like top and black stretch pants, which showed off her ab fab figure. Her new cropped ‘do looked damp after the workout, and she tossed her rolled up yoga mat into her car before driving off.
She looks great. I don’t love the short hair on her, but it fits her personality and she seems happy with it.

She?s usually a positive and enthusiastic lady so it?s a bit curious that Mila Kunis is getting flack for giving a less-than-stellar interview to the Star-Ledger.
Writer Stephen Whitty chatted with the ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? star for 25 minutes on the phone and it?s safe to say he wasn?t impressed.
Whitty explained, "The interview starts going south from the first question, when I make the mistake of asking Mila Kunis how she's feeling. She does not take this well. [She responds], ?I don't talk about that for publication.??
"Every question I ask over the next 25 minutes seems to strike her as either dull, insulting or burdened by some sort of agenda,? Stephen added.
Furthermore, according to Whitty, Mila also didn?t want to talk about moving from Ukraine to the USA as a child. Her response- "I've talked about me moving to America in a hundred interviews. It?s the most mundane subject possible, it?s like everyone?s immigrant story. It was much harder for my 13-year-old brother, it was much harder for my parents."
Kunis continued, "I know what your next question is so let's just skip it. You're going to ask me what I think about what?s going on now in Ukraine. Just because I lived there until I was seven doesn?t mean I identify with Ukraine."
"It just seems weird to do an interview about Third Person and then it becomes about Ukraine, and that?s the headline. I do interviews and they seem like they're supposed to be one thing, and the writer has an idea, and then they become something else."
Whitty wondered, "Maybe Kunis is ticked off at all reporters in general, after seeing that Gawker post. Hell, maybe she just picked up the phone after an awful bout of morning sickness (not that I?d risk offending her by asking)."
"To be fair, it could all be me. Certainly in the past she's given a number of great interviews to other writers where, instead of seeming brusque or bored, she seemed candid and involved. So, signing off, I tell her I'm sorry this one seemed to upset her so much,? Stephen added. Kunis replied, ?No, no, it was a good interview!?

Joined by 8-year-old Sean Preston and 7-year-old Jayden James, the ?Baby One More Time? singer smiled for the camera in a Pink top with khaki shorts and wedge sandals.
Along with the picture, Spears added the caption, ?What?s up summer!!! Where are my sunglasses when I need them? Lol.?
Britney (32) previously told press that she?d love to have another baby someday- "I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl. I think she would be like a mini-me. I think it?s going to be crazy. I?m not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I?m going to feel like I have a second person, like, that?s me."
