With plenty of successful years under his belt, Leonardo DiCaprio recently treated himself to quite the luxurious new ride.
The ?Inception? star was spotted driving his new 2012 Fisker Karma in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (August 17).
While the vehicle looks oh-so-swanky, it actually is a plug-in hybrid with a range of 300 miles fully charged and, if operated in stealth mode (battery mode), the driver can get up to 100 miles per gallon.
In 2009, the Fisker Karma became the first electric vehicle to be named a North American Production Preview Vehicle of the Year by the North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards.

Adding another name to the slew of Hollywood brides-to-be, Amber Tamblyn and beau of two years David Cross have officially announced their engagement.
While details of the proposal are slim, the "Arrested Development" star is said to have popped the question to the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" actress several weeks ago.
Confirming the happy news to both Life & Style and Lifeline Live, the pair were pleased to share their marriage plans after keeping it secret for so long.
The couple, who have been rumored to be together since April 2008, officially stepped out as an item back in 2009.

Dancing With the Stars is where celebrities go for one last claw at fame. Hence, why George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis will be on the upcoming 13th season of the show.
Elisabetta would be following in the footsteps of Clooney’s rumored new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, who starred in the second season of DWTS. Canalis also would be pulling a Melissa Rycroft, bouncing back from a very public split by shaking her groove thing.
That makes only 1 more season until she completely fades from the collective memory of America and is replaced by a pregnant teen mom. At least she’ll still be famous in Italy where dating George Clooney automatically makes you queen. “Bellissimo,” Italians will cheer while throwing their pizza dough into the air. That’s what they do there, right? My stereotypes are a little rusty.

This story made me chuckle, snort and cackle all at the same time. It was a Chusnorkle. It?s just too delicious, I want to savor every word? Elisabetta Canalis. Reportedly. Signing on for. Dancing With the Stars!!!! Beautiful. So finally, we now know what all of those mysterious ?business meetings? in LA were about. Elisabetta was talking to reality show producers, begging for a gig. Maybe Elisabetta figures that if Clooney?s newest piece is a former DWTS girl, then maybe Clooney will see Elisabetta?s moves and take her back? OH GOD, just think of the DWTS interviews! Eli is always so delightfully vapid. MAGIC.
This is one way to get over a breakup. According to sources, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has signed on to the upcoming 13th season of Dancing With the Stars. ABC does not comment on casting rumors, and the new cast will be announced during Bachelor Pad on Aug. 29. However, insiders tell us the Italian model will be on board.
Elisabetta would be following in the footsteps of Clooney’s rumored new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, who starred in the second season of DWTS. Canalis also would be pulling a Melissa Rycroft, bouncing back from a very public split by shaking her groove thing.
So who else will be part of the cast?
We’ll find out in less than two weeks, but in the meantime, our E! Online pal Marc Malkin has shot down two other DWTS casting rumors: Jersey Shore star Snooki and Queen Latifah. (Queen Latifah took to Twitter to say it’s not true she’s joining the cast. And sources say Snooki has not signed on.)
In June, George and Elisabetta called it quits on their two-year romance. Photogs snapped Keibler arriving at Clooney’s house earlier this month, but if the two truly are dating, they haven’t gone public.
If this casting pans out, we can always hope for an All-Star DWTS someday where Stacy and Elisabetta can square off. Maybe George can sit in at the judges’ table? Can you say ABC ratings bonanza?
Season 13 of DWTS will begin Sept. 19 with a two-hour premiere.

Every year, I say I?m not going to watch DWTS, and every year, I end up watching certain performances or clips, just to keep with the news. Not this year, if Elisabetta is one of the contestants. I will totally watch every episode with Elisabetta. I have no interest in her as an actress, but I will watch her obsessively as a reality star. And let?s face it - what are her other options, if she wants an American career? Clooney?s not around to get her legit parts in films or television shows. She had to go to reality programming if she wanted to be relevant in America. I can?t wait.

Kelly Preston covers the September issue of Health Magazine - she actually got two covers, one with her son Ben, and one solo. Guess what she talks about in the interview? Her husband?s refrigerated wig room? Her husband?s (ALLEGED) penchant for swarthy dong? How her husband hits on young waiters in front of her? Of course not. She talks about Scientology, of course. And how it?s so great for her.
Two years ago, Kelly Preston was struggling to make sense of the sudden death of her 16-year-old son Jett, who lost his life due to a seizure in January 2009.
The actress, now 48, credits her religion for getting her through the toughest period of her life. “To be honest, [it was] the Scientology Center,” Preston tells Health magazine’s September issue. “I don’t know if I would have made it through without it.”
(Preston and her husband, John Travolta, have been Scientologists for more than two decades.)
The experience taught Preston a valuable lesson. “Don’t sweat the small things. Love your kids like it could be the last moment.”
After a painful two years, the family (including daughter Ella Bleu, 11) finally received some happy news when baby Benjamin Hunter Kaleo was born in November 2010.
“We [had been trying] for quite a few years,” Preston tells Health. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was floored. I’d snuck out of bed and then came back and woke Johnny up in bed. We both started crying. It was wonderful.”
Motherhood, Preston says, is the single most important role she’s ever tackled. “I’ve always wanted to be a mother, ever since I was 11. I was doing commercials for thousands of dollars, but I’d still babysit for $3 an hour just because I loved it.”
On her surreal life with John Travolta: ?I?ll be sitting there [in our Florida home] doing something really normal with the kids and then all of a sudden I hear, ?Whoosh!? and see the lights of the airplane and he?s like, ?Honey, I?m home!??

It has to be something involving a Rosemary?s Baby situation (Xenu?s Baby), swarthy mystery dong and barley water.

Drying off after hours of filming out at sea, bikini-clad Brooke Hogan hit the shore of the Florida Keys on Tuesday evening (August 16).
Showing off her hot beach bod, the 23-year-old singer strutted her stuff along the dock, wearing a teeny black printed triangle top and a pair of daisy dukes while toting her super-cute Victoria's Secret Pink bag.
In the sunny locale to shoot her latest project, the direct-to-DVD film "2 Headed Shark Attack," Brooke has been spending long days on and in the open water.
Set for a January 2012 release, the movie's official plotline reads: "When a Semester at Sea ship is sunk by a mutated two-headed shark, the survivors escape to a deserted atoll. But when it starts flooding, the coeds are no longer safe from the double jaws of the monster."

I love these pictures so much. Over the weekend I went to my 20th high school reunion and it was a blast. It was just so much fun that I want to go to reunions for just about everything I was ever involved with. Even the people I barely remembered were awesome after 20 years. So that’s what these photos of some of the castmembers of one of the ultimate guy movies (for my generation), 1998’s Big Lebowski, remind me of.
I was so enthralled by the awesome camaraderie of the cast members that were there that I almost overlooked Julianne Moore’s giant bow dress. That Jason Wu dress is ridiculous and reminds me of a clown bow tie, but like the beaming child in this novelty tie, Julianne is just so thrilled that I almost didn’t notice how ridiculous she looked.
As far as the other castmembers, I’m so happy to see The Dude Jeff Bridges, who currently has an album out, his first called Be Here Soon, with which he collaborated with T. Bone Burnett! Bridges says that people who say the album is of “Bad Blake” songs (his character in Crazy Heart), are “50% correct” and that some of the songs were meant for Crazy Heart but couldn’t make it into the movie. T-Bone Burnett also oversaw music for Big Lebowski, and he’s the tall guy in some of the group photos here. You can watch Jeff perform on the Today Show here. He’s so awesome.
Noticeably absent were Steve Buscemi, Isabella Rosselini, and (maybe) Tara Reid, although Reid was in it for a hot second, am I wrong?
This picture of John Goodman hugging Jeff Bridges is amazing.
I don’t know how I feel about Moore’s shoes.

You don?t have to even begin to yell at me. I know I?m a C-U-Next-Tuesday, and I know I?m much too uptight about fashion rules and what is appropriate and inappropriate to wear to certain events. I?ve already gone off on what is and is not appropriate style for court appearances - and those same rules apply to appearing before any sort of legislative body, whether it?s Congress or a city council. Today, you?re going to hear ?Kaiser?s Style Don’ts For Dining Out.?
So these are photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt ?picking up her family to go to dinner? according to the photo agencies. By the way, all of the agencies got these photos, which just emphasizes that J. Love really needs a job. She has too much time on her hands, and when that happens, she paps herself every damn day. Regarding the fashion: is this how you would go out to eat? with your family? I understand that they?re probably going somewhere casual (at least, I hope so), but you?re seriously going to wear shoelace-less Chucks (or Chuck-ish shoes), leggings, an oversized tank and an exposed blue bra while you?re dining with your family?!!? But realistically, this look is not for her family dinner. J. Love called the paps so they could photograph in a new hideous ensemble after she had called them the day before, when she was wearing the hideous see-through dress.
And yes, I hate her bangs. I actually think J. Love has a pretty face, but the bangs do nothing for her. They just make her look like a 40-something soccer mom who is trying to be a 20-something hipster. J. Love tweeted, ?People who are not in favor of the new haircut kinda hurt my tweelings!:(?. Too cutesy, J.Love. Much too cutesy. You?re 32. Time to wear clothes that don’t expose your bra. Time to wear clothes that fit. But that just kind of underlines it, right? J. Love?s whole deal lately just feels so desperate. I hate to say this, but she needs a new boyfriend. She?s not so crazy when she has a boyfriend.

The ?Into the Blue 2? hottie was all smiles as she made her way through the terminal, sporting a light grey top and coordinating grey jeans.
In a recent interview, Audrina shared that although her former ?Hills? costars had been burned out on reality television, there may be a feature film in the works.
"[Hills creator] Adam DiVello did talk about wanting to do a Hills movie, but we were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break. We've all had our break, so maybe we'll all come back together and do a movie. You never know."

The amount of news about Kim Kardashian?s crazy wedding is absolutely ridiculous. I just pulled FOUR tabloid stories about it, and that was just from about three minutes of searching. So, obviously, Kim is marrying Kris Humphries this Saturday, and the famewhore family cannot exist without going completely overboard on everything and telling everything to everybody. Here are some highlights of the coverage:
*The shoes: Life & Style is reporting that Kim had four pairs of Christian Louboutins made for the big day.
*The cake: Kim, with the help of mom Kris, chose a 10-tier cake with chocolate chip frosting worth $20K!
*The guests: OK! says that Kim has asked the attendees to dress in black and white.
*Who?s coming? Kathie Lee Gifford, Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Seacrest, Venus & Serena Williams, Nicole Richie, LaLa Vazquez, Ciara, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, and Victoria Beckham are among the A-Listers who received invites!
*The color scheme: It?s black and white, all the way! Kim has picked white South African roses as decorations!
*The transportation: White Rolls Royces and Maybachs will take the guests from the Four Seasons Biltmore to the private estate in Montecito where the ceremony is being held.
*The wine: Guests will toast to the newlyweds? love with more than 720 bottles of chardonnay, ros, merlot and cabernet, courtesy of Malibu Rocky Oaks Wine, an insider tells Life & Style.

What else? Kris Jenner is going all momzilla on Kim?s bridezilla. According to tabloid reports, ?Kris Jenner is attempting to make the wedding about herself by wanting to wear white and inviting a bunch of people Kim doesn?t even know. All Kim wanted was for everything to be perfect. But instead it was nonstop drama. Kris thought both of them wearing white would cause a lot of fun buzz. But the whole thing just made Kim upset.? Oh, and apparently Kim?s sisters hate their bridesmaids? dresses too. Did they want to wear white too?

Last night was the premiere of Our Idiot Brother, which? I don?t really want to see, although I do enjoy some Paul Rudd, and he does look kind of funny in it. The film paired Rudd with a group of talented ladies, and so the premiere was heavy on the fashion. Unfortunately for nearly all of the talented ladies, they all looked like hell. Let?s start with Zooey Deschanel, shall we? The Moschino dress was, like, circus-level bad. I think highly of the Deschanel sisters - I find both of them beautiful and interesting - but this dress is unflattering and just flat-out ugly. What?s with all of the bulges and dust ruffles on her neck and biscuits? Gross. I?m totally over Zooey?s hair too - she needs to ditch the hipster-girl bangs. She?s well into her 30s, it?s time for a more adult look. But the absolute worst part was how her makeup looked - like a Kardashian got a hold of her:
Ridiculous. Are those falsies on her bottom lids?!?
Next up? Rashida Jones. She?s another one that needs to stop with the bangs, in my opinion, but at least her makeup job is better than Zooey?s. The dress, however, is just as bad. How unflattering is this? Rashida has a cute figure, but you would never be able to tell. I hate her shoes too.
So, I?m kind of demoralized by the bad fashion, so here?s a photo with the other two girls in the cast, Elizabeth Banks and Kathryn Hahn. Why does everyone look so bad?!?

That’s right — a whole twenty-one pounds — and Victoria is so desperate to shed the lingering unwanted weight that she’s gone into hiding until, magically, she’s able to emerge at her pre-pregnancy weight. Of course, it’ll take lots of exercise and very little eating to accomplish this goal, so Victoria has embarked on some crazy plan called the Five Hands diet:

You’d think after having four children any hopes of having a flat tummy would be over - but one woman is determined to prove otherwise.
After giving birth to Harper Seven last month and gaining 1st 7lb, Victoria Beckham has gone into hiding in a bid to get back to a svelte size zero.
While Mr Beckham has been spotted almost daily with the rest of the brood, it is claimed 37-year-old Victoria has been cooped up in a rented seven-bedroom Malibu mansion getting her body back to pre-pregnancy glory.
According to Grazia, the former Spice Girl has been following the new ‘Five Hands’ diet to taper her figure in time for a grand unveiling at New York Fashion Week from September 8-15.
With a matter of weeks to go before she makes her return to the spotlight, Victoria has reportedly been sticking to the strict regime which consists of just five handfuls of food a day.
A source told the magazine that she has cut out sugar and has been snacking on miniscule portions of smoked salmon, prawns with chilli, yellow-fin tuna sushi and scrambled eggs.
‘Five days after giving birth, she started eating five high-protein meals a day accompanied by green vegetables, drinking gallons of water, and only snacking on goji berries and nuts.’
To complement her new eating plan Victoria has also been doing gentle exercise at the 93,000-a-month beach rental owned by Stephen Spielberg, as doctors have warned against any vigorous exercise for at least eight weeks following her caesarean.
“Victoria’s been doing gentle post-natal exercises and 10 minutes of Pilates.
“In a few weeks’ time she’ll pick up her normal gym routine again and start training with Tracy Anderson,” the source added.
This isn’t the first time that the fashion designer - who will be shortly be exhibiting the spring 2012 collection of her eponymous label in New York - has fought to shed her pregnancy pounds.
Following the birth of her three sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six, Victoria used a combination of Pilates and algae wraps - which reportedly shed 2-3lb a session - to regain her slender appearance.
Images of her after the birth of her first son Brooklyn, in 1999 sparked concern over her rapid weight loss. At the time, she said: “I had become Skeletal Spice. What upset me was I ate like any normal person… I wasn’t happy with how I looked.”

It’s really amazing that Victoria has historically insisted that she eats just like everyone else does when we know damn well what she used to look like before all of the restrictive dieting practices kicked into play. Basically, we know she’s full of crap where her weight is concerned, but whatever. Also, the fact that she’s hired Tracy Anderson tells us that Victoria isn’t interested at all in being healthy but only shedding the weight as quickly as possible. All for the sake of fashion week, really? One would imagine that having four children would help her recognize better priorities in life, but no. Fresh off of a date night at the Adele concert the previous evening, Jessica Simpson enjoyed another romantic outing with fiance Eric Johnson on Tuesday (August 16).
The engaged couple kicked things off with a trip to Houston's restaurant in Los Angeles before heading to nearby Century City to catch a matinee show.
The sighting comes as Miss SImpson once again fell victim to seemingly untrue rumors about her drinking, with Perez Hilton claiming that the "Dukes of Hazzard" darling had one to many at the Adele show.
Denying any such imbibing on the bottle, Jessica tweeted in response, "There are rumors that I was "drunk swaying" at the Adele concert last night. That wasn't drunk swaying, that was professional dancing!"

Back on the west coast after a short trip to New York City, Lindsay Lohan continued forth with her newfound hobby of riding the waves in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (August 16).
The "Mean Girls" starlet shuffled out of her Tinseltown abode as she loaded up her Cadillac Escalade with a few bags and her surfboard before speeding off towards a local beachfront destination.
The surfin' excursion makes for the second day in a row in which LiLo has hit the Pacific waters, as she tweeted the previous afternoon, "With @atsimourtos @glennnnutley @cat_schwartz my favorite people shooting with @richardphillips and @paufdenkamp! after surfing with #kassiameador"
Lohan first began learning the waterbound sport after her release from house arrest in July, as she was taught the basics of surfing at the Oakley Learn to Ride Surf event in Dana Point.

Branching out from her human/fairy role on ?True Blood,? Anna Paquin is set to star in an upcoming film called ?Straight A?s.?
The Sookie Stackhouse actress, along with ?MacGruber? actor Ryan Phillippe, have signed on for the Nu Image/Millenium movie.
Directed by James Cox and written by Dave Cole, production for the comedy begins today (August 17) in Shreveport, Louisiana.
According to the script, "Phillippe portrays a man who's been in and out of rehab for 10 years and is haunted by the ghost of his dead mother pressing him to return home to the family he turned his back on years ago. Outfitted with nothing more than a bag of pills and a sack of weed, he trots back to Shreveport, only to be faced with his brother's wife, who's still pining for him, her first love."
