Rita Ora is killing the hotness game. She may be my favorite singer now and I have yet to hear one of her songs, but judging by the size of her boobies, the girl must have some decent pipes. I think she should come to my moms basement and give me a one on one []

| Jennifer Lopez was seen with a giant diamond ring and could be engaged to A-Rod | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I have to hand it to Jennifer Lopez. She used to get engaged to just about every boyfriend, remember her second marriage to that backup dancer and then her engagement to Ben Affleck? After that she married Marc Anthony and they had two two kids together. They ended up coparenting well after their divorce, so it wasnt the worst case scenario. She never got engaged to the other backup dancer she dated for years, Casper Smart, and she dated Drake for a minute and smartly didnt stay with him. Jennifer doesnt like being alone but at least shes mellowed. Anyway it seemed like just a matter of time before she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez. Theyve been together for about 19 months and weve heard engagement rumors for almost as long. They dress so matchy and cute, they support each others projects, and their kids get along too. Plus theyre constant fixtures on each others social media, which is how Lopez showed off what looks like a giant diamond engagement ring. Alex posted a video of her making the baseball sign for a hit and run during one of the World Series games. I only have a vague understanding of what shes doing.

| Amber Heard fulfilled her obligations, wore Elie Saab to the 'London Fields' premiere | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Back when Amber Heard was still married to Johnny Depp, he basically pulled some strings with his friends and got her a job on the film London Fields. The film was a disaster from the start, and no one wanted it. Depp has a role in it too, and from what I remember, that was part of the deal ?if you hire Amber, I?ll take a role? and I don?t think any of it was done for the paycheck. In any case, London Fields has sat on a shelf for years. Lawsuits were tossed back and forth, and the lawsuits were mostly about how producers used CGI to make Amber look naked when she really filmed the scenes with her clothes on. It was stupidly complicated, especially considering as I said no one asked for this dumb movie.
Well, I guess Amber and the producers made some kind of peace, because the film is being released today, and last night was the LA premiere. Amber was there. She wore a boring Elie Saab gown and walked the red carpet and made sure she was photographed extensively. There?s an aura of ?this is my contractual obligation? around her. And honestly, the reviews are terrible. While I like Amber and wish her the best, she?s still a terrible actress, it seems. Meanwhile, Amber said words to the Associated Press about how she?s moved on:
?I am very happy that I have moved on with my life and keep moving on with my life. I just keep wanting to do with my life that which makes it better for other people and myself. And doing the right thing and moving forward and dedicating yourself to justice, truth, to doing whats right and helping others when you can thats everything to me. Thats all Im interested in. Its incredibly rewarding to be able to use what experience Ive lived and endured, suffered, survived through. Its amazing to be able to use ones experiences in life to help others, to help push the conversation forward, to change the conversation.?
[From The Daily Mail]
I hope she phases her life over to doing more charitable and advocacy work too, because I believe that she finds that work fulfilling, and she has a personal connection to it. Plus, it will keep her from acting, which? yay.

| Will Viggo Mortensen be a major Oscar contender this year for 'Green Book?' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Every so often, one of the subscription movie channels will throw Driving Miss Daisy onto their cycle, and I?ll spend a month watching ten-minute or twenty-minute increments here and there. I understand why the film isn?t regarded as one of greats, and I completely understand (and agree with) the racial criticisms lodged at the film. But can I just say? It?s still a completely enjoyable film. Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy had excellent chemistry together, and both of their performances were great.
Well, there?s a very similar kind of film coming out this awards season. It?s called Green Book. Viggo Mortensen plays an Italian-American bouncer-type who takes a job to drive around Mahershala Ali?s jazz pianist around the deep South in what seems like? maybe the early 1950s? It?s very much in the same vibe as Driving Miss Daisy, only the driver is white and passenger is black, but the ?racial healing through shared conversations and experiences? is the same. Viggo Mortensen made an appearance at the Rome Film Festival this week the photos in this post to promote the film. Where?s Mahershala?? Probably filming True Detective or something. Anyway, here?s the trailer:
Originally, I thought Viggo?s appearance in Rome was the first film festival appearance, but no the film has already been slowly making its way through the festival circuit. It?s premiered at TIFF, Zurich, the Hamptons, and the London Film Festival already. It might be the low-key antidote to A Star Is Born?s in-your-face Oscar campaign. A slow-burner campaign for a film where Viggo goes against typecast and plays a thuggish New Yorker who loves fried chicken? I mean? I?m interested. And I?ll watch anything with Mahershala. Viggo is a big fan of Mahershala too he talked up Ali?s performance in Rome, in Ali?s absence. Could it be that? Viggo is actually coming to play this Oscar season?

| Julia Roberts: Rom-coms 'just don't work at a certain point of life experience' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?m trying to remember when I last watched a romantic-comedy from start to finish. Did Destination Wedding count as a rom-com? It was billed as a rom-com but it was a lot darker than traditional rom-coms. To be fair, few people are writing rom-coms and few people are making them. Everything is superheroes and historical bio-pics these days. Oh, I just remembered: Begin Again, with Reese Witherspoon. I watched that and it was? okay. Sometimes I do need something lighter, and sometimes I just want to see two pretty people fall in love. But if anyone out there is still writing rom-coms, don?t ask Julia to play one of the roles. She thinks she?s too old for them.
Julia Roberts built her career starring in some of the most enduring romantic comedies of the modern film era. However, fans shouldnt hold their breath when it comes to seeing her starring in any in the future. ETs Keltie Knight spoke with Roberts in Los Angeles on Sunday, where the Oscar winner was promoting her upcoming drama thriller series Homecoming, and she admitted that she feels shes had too much life experience to convincingly star in a rom-com at this point.
Unless we [play] the parents of the people that are rom-com-ing, Roberts, 50, explained. There came a point in my career where people thought I had turned on romantic comedies, which I love them, I love to be in them, I love to watch them. But sometimes, they just dont work at a certain point of life experience.
For Roberts, the disconnect comes when the audience doesnt believe that the actors in the film arent naive and emotionally juvenile, as the characters in rom-coms tend to be to allow for the zany situations and farcical hijinks inherent in the genre.
Its not about age, its just about what people know that you know, Roberts explained.
[From ET]
I sort of understand what she means once you get past the headline of ?Julia says she?s too old for rom-coms.? It?s not that she?s really too old to play a romantic lead, it?s that the handful of romances written these days are for younger actors, and Julia would look like an ahole if she was still doing sh-t like Runaway Bride (which I hated then and I hate even more now). Whenever people talk about ?oh, rom-coms don?t work at this point,? I always point out that Mindy Kaling expanded her love of rom-coms to a TV show - The Mindy Project which sort of redefined rom-coms for me because that show was so smart. There were hijinks and zany situations, but there was an emotional core, a romantic center. I hate to admit it, but if Mindy Kaling wrote an adult rom-com for Julia Roberts, I would watch the sh-t out of it.
