Selena explained, "I would have to say Bieber just because I know how hard he works. I hope he wins, but I love Drake as well. It's a really hard category so I don't know who's going to win, but of course I have to say Bieber."

Last week there were reports that he sustained an injury while filming ?Now,? and Justin Timberlake says he?s on the mend.
During an interview about his new movie ?Yogi Bear,? the ?Cry Me a River? singer tried to downplay his calf injury.
Timberlake explained, "My calf is ... it's not that baaad. It'll be fine. It's not irreversibly damaged. ... I was just on set and I hurt it.?
?I wish I had a way better story about how I got into this Bruce Lee, Kung Fu fight with someone and 'you should see the other guy,' but unfortunately I did it to myself."

The ?Pineapple Express? actress showed up at the shindig with her partner Tasya van Ree and wasn?t shy about showing affection to her lady friend.
While talking at the event, Amber explained, ?GLAAD is one of the many reasons that I, as a 24-year-old, can come out.?
"I think when I became aware of my role in the media, I had to ask myself an important question; 'Am I part of the problem?' And I think that when millions and millions of hard-working, taxpaying Americans are denied their rights and denied their equality, you have to ask yourself what are the factors that are an epidemic problem and that's what this is."
"Injustice can never be stood for. It always must be fought against and I just was sick of it being a problem. I personally think that if you deny something or if you hide something you're inadvertently admitting it's wrong. I don't feel like I'm wrong."

Reese Witherspoon was probably always going to be the victim of a Twihard Lynchmob, but this new interview just speeds up the process. Reese is promoting her work in How Do You Know (terrible title), the James Brooks film coming out in a few weeks. While doing her junkets, Reese fielded some questions about filming Water for Elephants earlier this year - with Robert Pattinson. And Reese had nothing but lovely things to say about The Sparkler? which is BAD NEWS. She?s too effusive:
As a circus performer in the 2011 drama Water for Elephants, Reese Witherspoon gets in the ring with her film paramour, movie veterinarian Robert Pattinson.
“I’m not gonna lie. He’s a very, very handsome man,” Witherspoon tells USA TODAY’s Donna Freydkin.
The two had co-starred in the 2004 costume drama Vanity Fair. And yes, times have changed for Pattinson, who’s now a reluctant heartthrob thanks to the blockbuster Twilight movie series.
“The fervor and madness and girls waiting at 5 a.m. on a set in the middle of nowhere just to see him,” recalls Witherspoon, of their shoot. “He’s sweet and loving and has the nicest family. Kristen (Stewart, Pattinson’s girlfriend) is really sweet, too. He’s a very sensitive soul. He worked really hard. He looks great in the movie, too.”
Her daughter Ava, 11, met Pattinson, but wasn’t smitten because she hasn’t read the books yet. Witherspoon thought she was too young. “I really liked them, me and all my 30-year-old friends! I love the books,” she says.
As for Witherspoon, does she have it written into her contracts that all her costars have to be hunky males?
“I do. How did you find that out? Someone’s gotta do it. It’s like America’s Test Kitchen, but for making out with hot co-stars. I do it for the girls. I love my job. They’re all really good guys. And I know all their girlfriends,” she smiles.

“Zombieland” and “Pineapple Express” star Amber Heard officially outed herself at the GLAAD 25th anniversary bash in Hollywood Friday night when she walked down the red carpet with girlfriend of two years Tasya van Ree. Radar Online says:
Amber [explained her decision to come out, saying] she had to ask herself if by being closeted, she was part of the problem in denying “millions of hard-working, tax paying Americans” their rights.
“I think GLAAD is one of the many reasons that I, as a 24-year-old, can come out,” she explained.
Tasya Van Ree is a photographer and artist. She and Heard have quietly been together since 2008 but the GLAAD celebration was their formal coming out as a couple.
I think we all should embrace these brave young women and their courageous decision to come out of the closet. Embrace, and then maybe tickle, and then maybe playfully spank before we disrobe and oil each other up in a bout of frenzied sexual ecstasy. I don’t know any real live lesbians per se, but I know that’s how they do it in the movies my dad watches on Pay-Per-View.

Ms Sophia was joined by her on and off-screen beau, Austin Nichols, with the cute couple explaining their latest project called ?Gasoline Rainbows? - which is a music compilation giving 100% of its proceeds to Global Green to help communities affected by the Gulf oil spill.
Sophia and Austin traveled with Global Green to Grand Isle, Louisiana back in June to visit the beaches and see the devastation first-hand, which ended up inspiring them to come up with the idea of the new album now available on iTunes.

This is the cover for the January issue of Vogue UK. It sucks, right? You really have to work HARD to make Keira Knightley look this bad. She must have pissed someone off at the magazine. Anyway, Vogue UK has released some excerpts from the interview - Keira mostly talks about why we haven?t really seen that much of her over the past couple of years. She says that she seriously considered dropping out of the acting profession, just because she wasn?t enjoying it anymore, and she had done too many films back-to-back. Keira describes the ?guilt? she felt doing various projects - which I guess is an allusion to other young actresses who would kill to get even half of the scripts Keira gets sent (coughBielcough):
The actress took a career break, travelling around Europe with friends and enjoying a lifestyle she had missed out on in her teens.
?I think I intended not to work again,? she said. ?I wasn?t enjoying what I was doing and I felt terribly guilty about that. I remember hating the idea that I was in a privileged position and couldn?t see the point of any of it. I had worked solidly since I was 16, ’til 22, and I had not been on holiday in all of that time.?
She added: ?I didn?t know if I was going to go back to acting at all. I think for a long time I thought I wouldn?t.?
Knightley eventually did go back to work and has since made four films, also appearing on stage in Martin Crimp?s version of Moliere?s The Misanthrope, a ?challenge? she set herself and one that she loved. But she said that the excessive paparazzi attention had instilled a ?fear? in her that remains today.
?I?m still not good at being recognised,? she said. ?I wear scruffy clothes and hats and keep my head well down? I?m sure people must think I?m a complete b—-, but I?m just very shy.?
Knightley, 25, admitted that she only agreed to take part in her latest film, Never Let Me Go, an adaptation of the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, because co-star Carey Mulligan had asked her to.
?She?s a very good friend of mine and (I felt) if I was to start making films again, she was someone who would watch my back,? she told the January issue of Vogue.
Mulligan agreed: ?Keira is the friend I call when I?m in trouble or suffering from a broken heart. She?ll meet me in the bar with a mojito and be there for me. She reserves herself for the people she really cares about.?

I don?t think Keira is a bitch, but I do think she was very smart to take it down a notch. There was a time - circa 2006 - where she was EVERYWHERE, and she got annoying. By taking a step back and taking down her press machine for a short time, she gave everyone a breather and she let people miss her, which is always smart. Now if I could only figure out what she did to piss off Vogue UK editors.

I heard over the weekend that actress Amber Heard came out as a lesbian (or maybe she just verified it), but I struggled for a moment to understand who exactly Amber Heard was. Here?s her IMDB page - I?ve seen her in Pineapple Express, although I have no memory of her role in that movie whatsoever. And that?s all I?ve ever seen from her filmography. Huh. Anyway, Amber Heard went to some GLAAD event over the weekend? with her girlfriend. And now everyone is like ?ZOMG a C-list actress is a lesbian!? Is it really that scandalous? Here?s Amber?s interview (at the event) with After Ellen:
At tonight?s celebration of 25 years of GLAAD, AfterEllen.com was on the red carpet and talked for a few minutes with actress Amber Heard (The Stepfather, The Joneses, Pineapple Express), who spoke openly (and happily) about her choice to come out and, as she eloquently said, not be “a part of the problem” by staying in the closet. Heard, who was joined by her partner, Tasya van Ree, was also clearly honored to have the privilege of presenting the Founder?s Award to GLAAD/LA Founder and First Executive Director Richard Jennings during the event, held at Harmony Gold in Los Angeles.
AfterEllen.com: What does it mean to you to be a part of this event tonight?
Amber Heard: I?m honored to be a part of GLAAD. I?ve long been a fan and long wanted to be a part of an organization as powerful, as influential and as important as GLAAD. I am acutely aware of the role that the media plays in influencing public opinion and influencing society, and with that awareness comes the burden of responsibility.
I think when I became aware of my role in the media, I had to ask myself an important question “Am I part of the problem?” And I think that when millions and millions of hard-working, tax paying Americans are denied their rights and denied their equality you have to ask yourself what are the factors that are an epidemic problem and that?s what this is. Injustice can never be stood for. It always must be fought against and I just was sick of it being a problem. Because I?m in the media I was aware of it and I luckily was introduced to GLAAD and am honored that they wanted me to be a part of tonight because it is such an important organization. I am so impressed with all the important work that they are doing and I couldn?t see a more important cause to be aligned with.
AE: The media is obsessed with labels and labeling people. As an out actress, is that something that you?re concerned about or is it something you?re moving past because of GLAAD?
AH: It?s hard. I think GLAAD is one of the many reasons that I, as a 24-year-old, can come out. I think that organizations like GLAAD make that possible because if it weren?t for opinions being changed, people being influenced, people being engaged to do the right thing, then there would be no prerogative for anyone to come out. Like I said, I can?t be a part of the problem. I hate the idea of a label just as much as anyone else but I?m with who I?m with, I love who I love and I?m if not a better actress than I was yesterday and my personal life should have no effect on that. I think that the injustice of people staying in the closet is more than I can bear with a clear conscience and I couldn?t sleep at night if I was a part of that problem, if I was part of the lies.
I personally think that if you deny something or if you hide something you?re inadvertently admitting it?s wrong. I don?t feel like I?m wrong. I don?t feel like millions of people are wrong because they love who they love or they were born how they were born. I?m proud to be on the right side of history and I can do nothing more than encourage people to look at their lives and ask “What side of history am I on? Am I doing the right thing or am I doing the wrong thing?” I look at speeches by Martin Luther King and I cry when I read the story of Rosa Parks at the back of the bus, and I can?t help but think if I was in that era what side of history would I be on? Would I be marching on the side of equality or would I be one of these horrible people spreading hate and bigotry?
It?s clear from a person that was born in the ’80s to decide what part of history they?d be on. It?s clear for someone like myself that?s fairly educated and fairly well-rounded and fairly enlightened to be able to say “I would never be on this side of bigots and hatred. I would never be on that side!” But then we have this situation here in my generation, where tons of young people haven?t woken up to the call that this is our generation?s civil rights movement. This is the forefront of human rights. You have to ask yourself what side are you going to be on and if we?re too scared to come out and say who we are, we?ll never get anywhere.
AE: It?s great to see you here with your partner. It?s great that you can do that and you don?t have to be here with a beard!
AH: She?s so beautiful. I mean, you?d have to be crazy not to want to go out with her!

So, Amber is like Rosa Parks, I guess. No, I jest, I understand what she was saying. She?s saying that she wants to stand up for what?s right, and now is the time to be vocal. Since today is looking super-slow, I get the feeling that I?m going to be writing a lot of fashion posts, even about random photo calls. These are new photos of Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal in Australia? today? Yesterday? Tomorrow? I?m an idiot, granted, but the International Date Line still confuses me. I think this is ?today?. Anne is in Christopher Kane? and I hate it. It looks like a budget ice dancer?s dress. Plus, it?s much too ?sparkly? for daywear - especially given that Jake Gyllenhaal is only in a Canadian tuxedo. He looks like he?s trying to butch it up (although his denim looks neatly pressed and rather fussy), while Anne looks like she?s trying too hard to be all sparkly and Taylor Swifty.
As far the film goes, Love & Other Drugs isn?t quite a hit, but it?s not really sinking without a trace either. It?s made $22 million in two weeks - nowhere near Julia Roberts territory, but my guess is that it will become a word-of-mouth go-see chick flick. What?s the problem with these two? Granted, Anne has had some true hits and acclaim to her name, but Jake hasn?t really. He hasn?t been in a hit film - where the film rests on his performance - in years. And don?t say Prince of Persia. Please. That movie barely made back it?s production cost. So here?s the question: do audiences just not buy Jake as a leading man?

It?s an organization that advocates for suicidal gay teens, and many celebrities work with the group, including prominent spokesman Daniel Radcliffe. Anyway, Emma Stone was one of the big celebrities at the event, and she showed off her new hair - blonde, with bangs trauma. Ugh.
Emma used to a redhead, which I thought was natural (ish), but she told MTV that she?s actually a natural blonde, saying: “My natural hair is blonde, so it’s kind of nice. Also, she apparently went blonde for her role in the Spiderman reboot, and she?s playing Gwen Stacy. So? at least it?s for a role, I guess.

The ?Transformers? actor refused to power down his BlackBerry mobile phone prior to takeoff, a decision that ended up getting him kicked off the plane.
A flight attendant repeatedly requested that Josh switch his phone off, and when he didn?t the plane returned from the runway to the gate so they could remove him.
Looking back on the incident, Josh told press last night (December 5) at The Trevor Project's Annual Trevor LIVE, ?I?ve learned that it?s best to always turn them off. I?m good. Lesson learned.?

These are photos from last night?s premiere of Tron: Legacy in London. The two big stars of the film showed up - Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges. I have no idea where Garrett Hedlund (the other star, he plays Bridges? son) was, which is very odd. Methinks Hedlund is one of those actors who doesn?t feel the need to ?promote? his work - he didn?t show up for the Country Strong premiere either. Considering he?s still an ?up and coming? actor, it really wouldn?t hurt to get his face out there a bit more. Just sayin?. Anyway, Olivia Wilde wore Armani - thoughts? I don?t care for it. Despite how I think that Olivia ?I?m a princess but I don?t want to talk about it, except for every interview? Wilde is kind of dumb and probably the new Megan Fox, I do think she?s pretty and she?s got a nice figure. This dress does nothing for her beauty of her figure. The color isn?t right, and she looks dumpy.
Jeff, however, looks amazing as always. Love him. And I love how sweet he?s being to Olivia on the red carpet - you know it was probably freezing, and he?s holding her tightly. Good man.

Over the weekend, the Marrakech film festival began. This time Morocco got some heavy hitters to show up for their film festival - including Keanu Reeves, who is a jury member, along with James Caan and Gael Garcia Bernal. Since there are a million photos of Keanu this morning, I thought I?d bring you some. Ever since the ?Sad Keanu? meme, Keanu has seemingly been making an effort to look happier or? just less depressed in public outings. He also didn?t really seem to care, in general - after all, he has more money than God, and he?s off doing his own thing. Sad Keanu is busy. Also: I love his scraggly beard. I find it charming. According to a report, the ?Changeling? actress has teamed up with Robert Procop, formerly of Asprey, to conceptualize a new collection of jewelry with statement stones.
And it sounds like Ang is so proud of her self-designed pieces that she?s even worn a few at various high-profile events.
Procop told press, ?Angelina has very classic style. These are pieces she wears herself.? He added, ?The design of the jewelry starts with the stone, and how to maximize its brilliance and color. I design the piece of jewelry around it ? a beautiful stone should sit by itself.?

The ?Ain?t No Other Man? songstress was joined by her costars Cam Gigandet and Kristen Bell as well as director Steven Antin ahead of the premiere of ?Burlesque.?
During her interview, Ms. Aguilera noted that while she may look super sexy onscreen, the reality of it all was that the movie was hard work.
"I was scared of being out there with real, professional dancers. It's harder than it looks. Probably the unsexiest thing is to see a dancer's feet. After dancing for 17 or 18 hours a day every day, your feet are just bruises and calluses."

Looking to be battling chapped lips, the "Sucker Punch" actress strolled into the terminal keeping warm with a winter scarf before disappearing past the security checkpoint.
The jet-setting adventure comes amidst reports claiming that Miss Hudgens and boyfriend Zac Efron are being courted to be hosts of the US version of "The X Factor".
Apparently, Simon Cowell has decided having Dermot O'Leary on the show would make for too many Brits - which has switched his focus to Zanessa.
A source said, "There could only be Simon and an absolute maximum of one other Brit on the show. He wants that Brit to be Cheryl [Cole]. Dermot will be completely distraught. He spent months in America lobbying to get this job. He held out a lot of hope. But he can't compete with Zac and Vanessa. They are two of the biggest stars in the States and will make American X Factor the biggest show in the world."
And while this is Cowell's desire, it's still up in the air, as the insider added, "They are more popular than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with under-30s in America. They're in huge demand and would have to turn down a lot of work in order to do this."
