Making the most of their time on the east coast, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise were spotted out for an afternoon stroll in Boston on Tuesday (September 29).
With husband/daddy Tom Cruise working on the set of “Wichita,” Katie and Suri popped on over to DeLuca’s Market to do a little grocery shopping before continuing about with the day’s errands.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, the latest tabloid reports tell that Miss Holmes and her “Top Gun” hubby have spent over $3 million on little Suri’s wardrobe.
A source told press, “Katie and Tom really splurge on Suri, and as they’re so famous, they always get the top fashion designers to custom-make her clothes. Suri may only be three, but she’s very vocal when it comes to her outfits and she’s rarely seen in anything twice.”

The outing comes just a day after it was revealed that the “Mystic River” actress’ husband, Justin Siegel, filed documents for the dissolution of their marriage, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.
Meanwhile, Miss Rossum has since moved on in the relationship department – as she’s been dating Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz since August
Duritz even Twittered about his new lady, writing, “I personally think @EmmyRossum is just about the coolest chick I’ve ever met.”

Last week, we reported on the somewhat hilarious musings by dim bulb Jessica Simpson about her stay in Uganda. She was in the country to film an episode of The Price of Beauty, her VH1 series that will premiere in 2010. Jessica sent out a picture of herself pouting over some fly nets, via Twitter. Her message: ?WTF?!? Do I really have to sleep like this?? Fly nets weren?t her only battle, though! One member of her entourage, her hair guy Ken Paves, decided to send out a picture of a Ugandan spider, with the tweet ?Is this the Price of Beauty? Don’t let the bed bugs bite!” Yikes. That is a massive spider. Thankfully for Jess, she?s now back in America, and she?s singing a different tune about her stay in Uganda:
After roughing it in Uganda, Jessica Simpson is back home.
“I’m just now back in the US of A!!!!!” she Twittered Monday. “Home sweet delicious HOME!!!!!!!!!”
Shortly after her Maltipoo Daisy was snatched by a coyote, the singer, 29, flew to Uganda to film scenes for her upcoming VH1 show, The Price of Beauty. And the trip wasn’t easy.
At one point, she posted a photo of herself peeking out from a giant mosquito net surrounding her bed. “WTF?!?” she Twittered. “Do I really have to sleep like this?”
She and pals, hairstylist Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, also dodged spiders during the trip.
“Is this the Price of Beauty?” Paves Twittered. “Don’t let the bed bugs bite!”
In the end, Simpson’s spirit seemed to improve.
“Uganda was truly a beautiful adventure,” she Twittered Sunday. “I will carry the spirit of all the people with me always. God Bless.”

Aw. I know, I know. She?s an entitled princess, she?s rude, and this whole thing has the whiff of neocolonialism. But still! I?m sure Jess did have a nice time during part of her stay in Uganda, and I?m positive she?s thrilled to be back home. Welcome home, Jess! Oh, nuts. Her dog?s still dead. Oh, Photoshop. What would actresses do without you? Actually, I don?t think ScarJo looks too plastic-y on the cover of November?s Glamour Magazine. Her face looks gorgeous, her hair looks great (I love that shade of red on her), and overall the cover is very, very cute. But? her thighs don?t really look like that, yes? ScarJo has a lovely figure, but there?s no way her thighs are that thin. Photoshop magic shaved inches off those bad boys.
Speaking of ScarJo?s lovely figure, she talks a lot about the ?ridiculous? reports of her weight loss over the past year. She claims that any report of her losing 14 pounds is totally false, saying ?I could never lose 14 pounds.? Jaybird did a lot of coverage about Scarlett?s weight loss this spring, when it became obvious that Scarlett?s weight had dropped significantly while training for her role in Iron Man 2. There were even reports that ScarJo had been training with Madonna?s patented gristle-maker Tracy Anderson, a trainer who?s known for being a fraud, and for encouraging women to do really unhealthy things. Although I don?t think the Tracy Anderson thing was ever confirmed legitimately, I do believe that Scarlett, at one point this spring, had probably lost 15 to 20 pounds from her once curvy figure.
Scarlett Johansson is over endless speculation about her weight.
“There was this rumor mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds — I could never lose 14 pounds,” the actress, 25, tells the November issue of Glamour. “I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone’s weight.
“I can’t look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I’m going to get that body. That’s just never going to happen,” she admits.
Johansson — who slimmed down to wear a lycra catsuit as the Black Widow in the Iron Man 2 sequel (out next spring) — has accepted her body, she says.
“You have to work with what you’ve got,” she says. But despite coming to terms with her figure, working the red carpet still makes her freak out. I have a tumultuous relationship with it because I love to get ready for the red carpet, but being on it is very uncomfortable. It’s so freakish and weird,” Johansson says. “I get flop sweats, dry mouth, heart palpitations, allover panic!”
Johansson — who just released her second CD, a collaboration with rocker Pete Yorn — also opens up about her marriage to Ryan Reynolds. The pair wed in a low-key ceremony in Canada one year ago.
“I never really thought about getting married — it just kind of happened,” she says. “You hope that a relationship makes you better, that you learn things about yourself.?I feel more confident to explore things within myself that I hadn’t thought about in the past.?

Pete and Scarlett worked together for the album Break Up, and they?ve spent the past few weeks doing promotion for it here and there. They also did a Rolling Stone photo portfolio that?s just as cutesy. They must really like each other. Or Pete?s just trying to hit that. What? We were all thinking it. Ryan Reynolds is going to be totes jealous.

These are new pictures, but you would barely know it because Angelina is wearing all-black. AGAIN. Angelina needs to upgrade this all-black boho-goth wardrobe of hers, it?s kind of insane. I mean, I get it. She wears black. Lots of black. She?s dark and mysterious. She?s still got the soul of the misunderstood goth-punk kid. We get it, Angie. Anyway, Angelina Jolie took her oldest kid Maddox out to a supermarket in Brignoles, France today. Maddox seems to be getting quite a bit of one-on-one time with his parents lately - just last week, Madd was the only Jolie-Pitt kid to accompany Brad to New York, where they chilled out at Dave & Buster?s. Mommy?s no fun, though. She just takes her boy grocery shopping. Except that mommy?s secretly cool because she buys toy guns!
Yes, I would have missed it too, except some eagle-eyed OK! Magazine editor noticed it - Angelina is carrying a small toy gun, still in it?s packaging. We already know Maddox shares his mom?s affinity for knives and weaponry - even Brad mentioned in his Rolling Stone interview last year that he helps Maddox look for new weapons. So why are toy guns surprising or even scandalous? They?re not really. I?m just surprised that toy guns are sold in grocery stores in France. I learned something new.

LiLo is coming off of hosting the F1 Rocks concert series in Singapore, ahead of the iconic Grand Prix race. She was a last-minute replacement after Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger pulled out earlier this month.
Of the roster, which included Black Eyed Peas, No Doubt, ZZ Top and NERD, Lindsay said, “It’s a bunch of amazing performers whom I’m a really big fan of. I like to drive. I like cars. I like fast cars. I studied NASCAR for almost a year for Herbie. It was very hot inside those cars.”

Last Friday, we talked about a report from Star Magazine claiming that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were having big problems, and were probably close to a split. The reasons given were anything from Justin?s flirtation with Rihanna, to Jessica?s work schedule, to the idea that they?d just grown apart. I tended to believe parts of the report - after all, we?ve been hearing some of the same stuff over and over. Stuff like Justin?s friends find Jessica clingy, needy and annoying, and Justin simply isn?t invested in the relationship whatsoever.
Now it looks like this week?s print edition of Us Weekly is coming close to confirming Justin and Jessica?s split?last month! This is according to LaineyGossip - Lainey got an advanced copy of this week?s Us Weekly, and here?s her summation:
The new issue of Us Magazine comes out tomorrow but etalk received an advance copy and their report is putting Shelfy in the sh-ts. I just read my voice over for our piece about 15 minutes ago. According to the publication, they say Pip ditched her. LIKE A MONTH AGO. And that the reason she flew back to LA was to try to get him back. He however apparently won?t have it and has been living it up on the single circuit. We?ll have more details on the show for you tonight and of course in the magazine Wednesday. It’s no secret that Suri Cruise is always well-dressed – but the amount spent decking out the growing young lady doesn’t come at quite the affordable price.
According to recent reports, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have spent over $3 million on clothes for their little tyke, including some high-end designer garb.
“Katie and Tom really splurge on Suri, and as they’re so famous, they always get the top fashion designers to custom-make her clothes,” a source said. “Suri may only be three, but she’s very vocal when it comes to her outfits and she’s rarely seen in anything twice.”
Victoria Beckham has also splurged on her, having a dress commissioned by designer Roberto Cavalli for Suri.
Cruise has said that he’s “flattered” about Suri’s fashion icon status.
The “Top Gun” stud explained, “It’s very flattering that people want to copy Suri’s clothes and the way she dresses.
He adds, “It does feel strange but you have to kind of go ‘it is what it is.’”

There’s news that Johnny Depp isn’t on board for more than just the one additional Pirates movie that he’s already committed to. We heard straight from Depp two weeks ago that he was less enthusiastic about the fourth Pirate installment following the abrupt departure of his friend and ally, Disney studio chief Dick Cook. Depp said “There’s a fissure, a crack in my enthusiasm at the moment [for Pirates],” and explained that Cook stood up for him and that he trusted him. “I consider Dick a friend inside an insane system. He’s someone I understand and I think he understands me.”
MTV reported that Depp hadn’t yet officially signed a contract for the fourth Pirates, and that he was “waiting to approve the script.” This sparked speculation that Depp wasn’t on board for another Pirates movie. Disney in turn stated through a rep that Depp was fully committed to the fourth Pirates film but that they of course couldn’t comment on additional sequels.
The last two films thoroughly sucked, but they made a lot of money and Disney will probably keep cranking out Pirates sequels until they’ve bled the franchise dry. It wouldn’t seem quite the same without the original lovable naughty rogue in the Captain Jack role. Without Depp and Orlando Bloom (who has said he’s not on board for a sequel) we’ll need some suitable eye candy to help us get through the thoroughly confusing plot. There’s speculation that Disney is necessarily considering replacements, though, and that their boy Zac Efron is a contender. Other names mentioned by MTV are Robert Pattinson, Ryan Gosling, and James Franco:
According to a tip received by Cinema Blend, the studio is preparing to replace Depp if/when he decides to abandon ship. This may not happen with “On Stranger Tides,” as Disney is likely prepared to offer him as much money as it takes to keep him aboard. The actor, who is said to be aware the last two movies “sucked,” will definitely not be sticking around for the fifth and sixth installments if the tipster is to be believed.
Is this sad news for us Jack Sparrow lovers? Certainly, but I don’t believe it’s the end of the world for the “Pirates” franchise. Yes, Jack Sparrow — and Depp’s portrayal of him — is terrific and hardly replaceable, but there are other wonderful actors out there who could at least steer the series on their own. And anyway, it might actually be refreshing to follow the adventures of another sort of pirate — a character unlike (and therefore incomparable to) Sparrow.
The plot of “On Stranger Tides,” which Geoffrey Rush claims may begin shooting next spring, could easily work as a changing of the guard.
It was widely believed until last week that “Tides”‘ story will come at least in part from Tim Powers’ novel, “On Stranger Tides,” which Disney owns the rights to. Powers confirmed last Monday that the fourth movie will “use elements” of the book.
Powers’ novel involves a pirate’s search for the Fountain of Youth. The story leaves room for a young newcomer, a character who aids the pirates in their search for the mythic location, to come aboard. While this could turn out to be Orlando Bloom’s role in the next movie, it seems possible that Disney might use that character instead as a Sparrow replacement. Of course, the studio will need more than just a pretty face if they hope to rival — and/or replace — Depp’s iconic pirate.
It’s easy to be cynical and believe Disney would screw it up by casting someone like Zac Efron or Shia Labeouf as the new lead. Just as nobody wants to see LaBeouf completely take over the “Indiana Jones” franchise — yet — without Harrison Ford, few of these sorts of rising stars are acceptable fill-ins for Depp.
However, I could see the following young men inventing an eccentric character worthy of captaining the series: James Franco; Ryan Gosling; Ben Whishaw; Anton Yelchin; and of course Robert Pattinson

I was trying to backtrack this thing to see where it originated, but I didn?t really care enough. Us Weekly claims Perez Hilton started it, and that?s good enough for me. Jamie?s rep denied the cheating rumors with a heavy-handed statement, as if people cared very deeply whether he?s screwing around. I mean, I get that Jennifer Love would care, but I find it fishy when people use this kind of language in their denials:
Despite Internet rumors, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy, who costar on the CBS drama The Ghost Whisperer, are still going strong, his rep tells Usmagazine.com.
Citing “impeccable sources,” blogger Perez Hilton has claimed that Kennedy, 39, “has been cheating on Jennifer Love Hewitt with his ex-girlfriend, Shannon Funk.”
But a rep for the actor tells Us: “This is a completely fabricated story made up by a disgruntled former employee, terminated for cause. Jamie and Jennifer are happy and still together.”
Kennedy also took to his Twitter page to slam the rumor about his girlfriend, 30, writing that it was completely “untrue and slanderous.”

Is it really that big of a deal? Granted, it sucks when people make stuff up. What?s worse for Jamie is that a lot of people probably thought infidelity would be completely in character for him. I mean, it?s not as if he?s been totally respectful of Jennifer Love so far. We?ve already heard that he called her a ?pear ass? when he saw her naked for the first time - and Jennifer admitted that Jamie encourages her pear ass to diet, instead of loving the pear ass as-is. In mind, it?s just a hop, skip and a jump from ?pear ass? to ?banging an ex-girlfriend?. That?s probably what bothered Jamie - that so many people believed it.

Britney Spears released her new single, "3," on Tuesday morning (September 29). The song will be featured on her greatest hits album, The Singles Collection, due out on November 24. She's releasing the collection to celebrate her 10 years in the business since the release of her seminal first single, "... Baby One More Time."
The track was produced by hit-maker and longtime Spears collaborator Max Martin, who also produced "... Baby One More Time," and its subject matter — which appears to be about loving multiple people at one time — is sure to cause a stir. Of course, Spears has been causing that kind of stir since she dressed in a sexy school-girl uniform for the "... Baby One More Time" video.
The song, which is posted on New York radio station Z-100's Web site, is a catchy dance track with provocative lyrics, such as, "1, 2, 3/ Not only you and me/Got 180 degrees/ And I'm caught in between." The chorus also mentions "Peter, Paul and Mary," which would seem to be an out-of-left-field reference to the '60s folk act. (There's no indication whether this song was recorded before or after member Mary Travers' death on September 17.)
In July, during the European trek for her Circus tour, Spears tweeted that she was working with Martin on a song. "Back in the studio with Max!" she wrote about the collaboration.
The Singles Collection will be available for purchase as a standard set and a packaged box set. The standard set will include 17 of her biggest hits, plus "3." The ultimate fan box set will contain all 29 of Spears' singles individually packaged in slip sleeves with their original artwork and B-sides or remixes. The box set will also include a DVD with all of Brit's videos from past to present and a photo booklet with various photos spanning her career. Spears released her first greatest-hits collection, My Prerogative, back in 2004.

It’s no secret that the Phillips family is in turmoil following the publishing of Mackenzie Phillips’ “High on Arrival,” and it looks like sister Bijou Phillips has been through the ringer.
The singer/actress was spotted at a Los Angeles equestrian center yesterday looking pretty rough as she finished out her horseback riding session.
In a recent interview, Bijou revealed that she was aware that her half-sister was having a consensual sexual relationship with their father. She says she was 13-years-old when Mackenzie told her about it.
In a statement read by Oprah Winfrey on her talk show, Bijou said the news was confusing and scary, and that she found it “heartbreaking” to think that her family would leave her alone with her father.

People Magazine is finally running the Rebecca Gayheart-is-knocked-up story, which basically means someone officially connected to Rebecca and Eric Dane okayed the release of the information. Which means Rebecca?s pregnancy is official. I know, I know. Rebecca is barely B-list, but her husband is high B, perhaps even A-List (in the television world, because of Grey’s Anatomy). This would be such a non-story if not for a few other significant events.
The rumors about Rebecca?s pregnancy have been swirling for a while - almost as long as the minor scandal of the naked-hang-out tape with former beauty queen/maybe hooker Kari Ann Peniche. The other rumor swirling is that Rebecca is still on drugs. We already knowshe?s still smoking. I hate to be a judgy bitch (that’s a lie), but I find it revolting that she’s still smoking. I don’t judge smokers as a rule - but the exception I make is for dumb pregnant women who smoke in this day and age.
Out on a stroll in Los Angeles last weekend with husband Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart showed in public what the couple’s close friends have known for some time: that she’s expecting. In February, Dane, 37, told Ellen DeGeneres that he and Gayheart, 38, wanted a baby. “They’re definitely happy,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They’ve been trying for so long.” Reps for the pair have not commented.

Now Rebecca needs to quit the smokes, quit the drugs, quit the liquor and take her prenatal vitamins. Judging from the bump Rebecca?s been sporting, my guess is that she?s probably in her fourth month, but that is just a guess. I?m hoping this pregnancy actually makes Rebecca clean up her issues, and I hope mom and the baby are happy and healthy. Fingers crossed.

Kim Kardashian has been staying relatively publicity-free since her older sister’s unplanned pregnancy and her younger sister’s quickie reality show wedding. She must have hated being briefly overshadowed by her sisters, and sure enough we have a new announcement from Kim that she’s back with her ex boyfriend, Reggie Bush, after their breakup in mid summer. We’ve heard rumors that these two were reconciling, but now with this official announcement Kim has earned a coveted place on People Magazine’s website. Talk about a busy week for the Kardashian family! Just a day after sister Khloe tied the knot with L.A. Lakers player Lamar Odom, big sister Kim Kardashian officially reconciled with her NFL running back beau, Reggie Bush.
“They’re totally back together for real,” says a source close to the couple. “Kim and Reggie spent a few months apart getting their priorities together and figuring out who they were as individuals so they can make it work together.”
The pair are so close that Bush’s parents even attended Khloe’s weekend wedding, the source adds.
Says another pal: “They are still very much in love.”

I would bet she’s been sitting on this news for about a month and delayed making the announcement for maximum publicity. Now that we’re over the news of Kourtney’s pregnancy and Khloe’s shock wedding, Kim comes in with her reconciliation. Up next - Kourtney’s wedding to her dandy dud of a baby daddy, Kourtney’s baby, then Kim’s wedding and subsequent pregnancy - timed to upstage them all.

The “Mystic River” actress’ husband Justin Siegel, a music producer, has filed documents for the dissolution of their marriage, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.
And of course, Siegel is seeking spousal support from Rossum as well as requesting that she pay for all of the divorce costs.
Emmy and Justin began dating back in 2007, and obtained a confidential marriage license in February of 2008. Their secret union was divulged when they separated back in August.

After her fake-blood-and-drama-filled performance at the Video Music Awards,
it seems that Lady Gaga won't be taking a break any time soon. She's appearing on "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, is re-releasing her hit debut with several bonus tracks as The Fame: Monster on November 24, and she launches her co-headlining "Fame Kills" tour with Kanye West next month — and she said she'll be launching her own headlining tour in March. She talked about all of the above in recent interviews with Las Vegas radio station KLUC
and San Diego's Star 94.
"I have a new single that I'm actually going to be performing on 'Saturday Night Live,' [along] with 'Paparazzi,' and then I'm going to put out a kind of new body of work," Gaga told Star 94; the single she's referring may be a new song fans have been calling "New York." "It's kind of a re-release but [with] more songs that you usually get on a re-release. It's called The Fame: Monster and that's [coming out] in November.
"I wrote almost a full album's worth of material and right now I'm kind of spending my time sifting through it all and doctoring it and making it perfect and decided what I want everyone to hear," she continued. "But I'm really proud of it. It's definitely life after The Fame."
Asked whether she'll be performing the new material on the "Fame Kills" tour, Gaga told KLUC, "You'll see all of it!"
She also revealed that she'll be embarking on a solo headlining world tour next year. "When I come back from my world tour, I'm doing another world tour after this, which is going to be in March of next year," she told Star 94.1.
At press time, a rep for Gaga had not granted MTV News' request for details on the singer's statements.
