After so successfully collaborating with Jay-Z on "Empire State of Mind," it looks like Alicia Keys may have worked with another rapper on her own album. Producer Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, who has worked closely with the singer on all four of Keys' previous albums, recently spilled the beans about a track with Drake that may be featured on the singer's forthcoming studio album, The Element of Freedom (due out December 15).
"If you have something to say... U should say it right now," the producer tweeted on Sunday. "Wow this new Ak and Drake is fire! I love my job."
In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Keys spoke about her reluctance to teaming up with other artists. "Honestly, there's not a lot of collaborations because I like it like that," she told the site. "I prefer it to be really just the journey of music and you can really get inside what I'm talking about and saying and that kind of thing."
While the singer likes the focus to be solely on her own message, she did hint at two exceptions to the rule.
"But, there are two collaborations that are coming because now I have a bit more time," Keys told Billboard. "Sadly, I 'm unable to say what it would be right now, but it will be two of the most exciting collaborations of my career yet. It's going to be fly."
In a recent interview with MTV News, Keys talked about the sound fans can expect from her latest effort. "You can expect to really be into a zone," she said. "I think you can expect the unexpected cause there's going to be things that you're going to be like, 'Wow, is that her? Is that her?' And I love that about it. You can definitely expect to see major growth, but you're going to fall in love with this album."
Earlier this month, a rep for the singer confirmed that Jay-Z and Keys had recorded "Empire State of Mind Part 2," which will be featured on The Element of Freedom. A video for the singer's second single, "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart", premiered Monday on BET's "106 & Park Countdown." The clip finds Keys playing an "X-Men"-esque superhero whose powers leave her unable to touch the man she loves.

Avril Lavigne can?t keep it in her pants. After spending most of this year drinking, drugging and screwing anything with two legs who was not her husband, Avril and Deryck Whibley finally officially split last month. Since then, the most consistent rumor has been that Avril is somehow romantically entangled with Brandon ?Greasy Bear? Davis. They?ve allegedly been friends for a while, and maybe even lovers, and reports indicated that Brandon was the one to convince Avril to finally leave Deryck.
Well, I don?t know what happened between Avril and Brandon, but now Life & Style Magazine is reporting that Avril has been hooking up with none other than Wilmer Valderrama, who famously dated Lindsay Lohan back when she was slightly wholesome (but still living at the Chateau Marmont at 17). Out of the frying pan and into the fire! Wilmer and Avril were seen flirting with each other a few nights ago, and love could be in the air:
She filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley just last month, but Avril Lavigne has already found a new man: Lindsay Lohan’s ex, Wilmer Valderrama.
“They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005, but things heated up last month,” an insider tells Life & Style. “One of their first dates was Oct. 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood.”
Avril, 25, and Wilmer, 29, took things public at LA club Wonderland last Saturday.
“She had her hand on his knee and they were whispering in each other’s ear, laughing,” says a witness. “They even closed the club, sneaking out just after 2.”

In some ways, I don?t see it. Wilmer has a reputation for loving the jailbait, you know? And he seems to like girls who are really inexperienced sexually. And Avril is no wilting virgin - she?s quite the party girl. I?d imagine she?s gotten passed around like bad weed. But? in some universe, I could totally see it. Wilmer doesn?t have a lot going on, and Avril is some kind of C-list prize, I guess. And it sort of makes sense if they?ve known each other for years. I?m still hoping she?s with Brandon Davis, though. I think they deserve each other.

Earlier today, we heard about Lindsay Lohan?s epic meltdown at Kitson. Apparently, Lindsay was being paid to show up at the opening of Pascal Mouawad?s jewelry line at the store, and she was already getting $500 to $2000 worth of free stuff. When she tried to take $15,000 worth of stuff, Pascal Mouawad himself put his foot down and told her ?no?. Cue epic tantrum. Apparently, after that, Lindsay started bad-mouthing Mouawad to other people in the store, and complaining loudly about the way she was being treated.
It looks like Lindsay forgot that she might actually need Mouawad?s friendship, though. The rumor going around (started by Lindsay herself) was that Lindsay was going to work with him on a jewelry line for Bebe. Now, not so much. Mouawad denied Lindsay?s claim, saying that although the jewelry line had been discussed, it was ?not happening?.
Lindsay Lohan apparently has her signals crossed. To more than a little astonishment, the starlet, already artistic adviser to Emanuel Ungaro, principal at leggings label 6126 and co-creator of self-tanning brand Sevin Nyne, recently mentioned she got the nod to expand her unlikely fashion portfolio even further into jewelry. She indicated Pascal Mouawad, who has partnered on jewelry lines with Nicole Richie and Heidi Klum, and Bebe had linked arms with her in the new venture. Mouawad begs to differ. Although he acknowledged discussions about launching a jewelry line with Lohan for Bebe did take place, he declared in an e-mail that Lohan?s revelation a collection was on its way is inaccurate. ?This is not happening,? he said bluntly.

People Magazine points out that this jewelry line was entirely conceivable, because Mouawad has worked with celebrities in the past, like Nicole Richie and Keidi Klum. A Represtentive from Bebe also slams Lindsay?s claim, telling People ?We are not doing anything with her. There were talks months ago but we did not go forward with anything.? Bebe works with Nicole Richie as well, and they?re just about to launch a line with the Kardashian girls. You know what that means? Fashion houses are finally over Lindsay?s crackhead drama. They?d rather work with someone like Khloe Kardashian than Lindsay.
It?s about damn time. I was expecting this after Lindsay?s ?creative consulting? on the Ungaro line failed miserably. At first, Lindsay tried to take credit for everything at Ungaro, acting like she was the co-designer or something. After the line got bashed, she was all ?none of it was my idea?. I get that?s a f-cking cracked-out mess, but her consistent refusal to even have a modicum of professionalism is one of the things that bothers me the most. And I think it?s a great idea for every one to get their distance from the train wreck of her existence.

Tending to her all-important promotional duties, Sandra Bullock paid a visit to the “Today” show in New York City on Tuesday (November 17).
Spotted returning to her hotel upon finishing her interview, Miss Bullock is in town to promote her new film “The Blind Side”.
“The Blind Side” is a movie about NFL lineman Michael Oher, who went from homeless to a professional football player.
And supporting Oher through thick and thin was Leigh Anne Tuoh, who was a southern belle who took charge while being a mother and took Oher into her family.
Sandra Bullock has the honor of playing the woman who changed Oher’s life.
“I felt a great sense of fear in trying to tackle that person,” Bullock said as Tuohy sat next to her at a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. “You don’t meet an energy like Leigh Anne’s ever.”
Bullock also went blonde for the look of Leigh Anne, but her family didn’t love it.
“I like blond highlights, but there is a very important person in my life,” she said of James, who “just didn’t want me being blond, thank God.”
She smiled, “There was a little person who thought I looked like an angel. Then there is a big person who said, ‘I don’t like the blond on you, take it off.’ You want him to say that. You do.”

Having really slimmed down over the past month, Christina Aguilera strutted her stuff on set of “Burlesque” in Los Angeles on Tuesday (November 17).
The “Genie In a Bottle” babe is hoping to impress in her new role - as she was cast along with some heavy hitters in the song and dance community for the musical drama.
Due out in November of 2010, “Burlesque” will be directed by Steve Antin, with Christina’s co-stars including Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet, Cher and Julianne Hough.
A synopsis via IMDB tells of the plot: “A small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.”

She can rest a bit easier now; a judge has granted Nicole Richie’s request for a restraining order on two celebrity photographers.
Los Angeles Superior Court’s Judge Carol Boas Goodson granted her petition for a three year restraining order against the paparazzi after a hearing on Monday- keeping Eduardo Arrivabene and Ivon Emilio Melo Miguel at least 50 yards away from Nicole and family.
During the court session, Miguel apologized to Richie and boyfriend, Joel Madden, and said he would not take pictures of her if she didn’t want him to.
The mother of two blames the men for a car accident that occurred last month, and although the actress’ two children were not in the car at the time of the crash, Richie says she is frightened for her children’s safety as well as her own.
Judege Goodson said she was concerned about holding back Arrivabene and Miguel’s First Amendment rights to take pictures of Richie and Madden, but luckily both men agreed they could bear the restrictions of the restraining order.

The “True Blood” star was the center of attention in a beautiful wedding gown with co-star, Katie Holmes- who plays the maid of honor- nearby.
The two gals have teamed up for the star-studded independent film which centers around eight college friends who reunite for the wedding, and is sure to be a hit with its extensive cast.
The other cast members include Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong. A release date has not been set just yet.

Ending a short time on the lam, Cindy Crawford’s blackmailer has turned himself in.
Former male model Edis “Eddie” Kayalar attempted to blackmail the supermodel for $100,000 after getting a private photograph containing Crawford and husband Rande Gerber’s then-7-year-old daughter tied to a chair in revealing clothing, taken by her nanny during a game of cops and robbers.
Kayalar tried to use the photo so the celebrity couple would pay, or else he threatened to release it to the media.
Kalayar was charged last week with a count of extortion despite already having been deported to Germany, where he allegedly went on to blackmail the couple.
On Monday, he went to Stuttgart police station and surrendered himself.
“Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter,” a statement from the couple’s representative said.
Crawford, 43, and Gerber, 47, have been married since 1998. Besides their daughter, who is now 8, they also have a son, 10.

Do Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have a name as a couple? You know, like ?Brangelina?. I guess people call them ?Rob-sten? but that?s totally boring. How about ?Sparkle-Stew?? That?s cute, right? Okay, well, we?ve got some additional information on Sparkle-Stew. First of all, some sources are claiming that People?s Sexiest Man Alive for 2009 is none other than Sparkles himself. People will announce this stuff officially on Wednesday, and the Sparkles thing might just be a rumor. But I?ll buy it. I think he?s People?s Sexiest.
Next up: Sparkles? red carpet interviews at the New Moon premiere. There?s nothing earth-shattering in here, but I found a couple of things interesting. Sparkles on Edward and love: ?The fact that this is a guy, a character who so many people think is this ideal man who has to be literally humiliated and beaten physically and mentally and emotionally, and still the girl he thinks he doesn?t deserve loves him. I didn?t make any sense what so ever.? Aw? slightly cute. On the red carpet, that little bitch Ryan Seacrest tried to get his hands on Sparkles too - and when Ryan asked about Pattinson?s relationship with Kristen, Robert?s rep pulled him away. Ryan tweeted about the incident: ?Robert pattison is class act. However the rep he was with yanked him off the air and off the mic when when I asked about kristen. Unreal!” Oh, keep your panties on, Seacrest. Ryan?s just mad because he wanted to make out with Sparkles.
Finally, we have Kristen?s interview in Parade Magazine this week. I know some people still see her a brat, but I find her very thoughtful and intelligent in this interview:
Facing fame.
“As soon as I stopped trying to control everything that came out of my mouth and every picture of me that came out, that’s when I became so much happier. It wasn’t like some big turning point; I’ve just grown into being able not to care as much. I realize that I’m not going to be able to influence the way everybody perceives me.”
Dating Robert Pattinson and all the rest of the gossip.
“I get why fans want to know more about the cast as real people and they want us to be together and all of that. I just have to sort of not think about that. People have a hard time separating us from our characters. There’s an incredibly large group that spends most of their time absorbed in the lives of people who’ve gotten some notoriety. It’s strange to me. I can’t have anything to do with it or else I’d step in and mess it up for myself, I just let it fall by the wayside. It doesn’t really affect me.”
But she wants to deliver for the millions of fans.
“If you make movies and you don’t care about the people who watch, then you probably are just wanting to be rich and famous. The fact that these movies are important to so many people makes me so happy. I care that they care. I said at Comic-Con that my favorite moment on New Moon was when we wrapped. People took it the wrong way. It wasn’t like I was glad it was over, it was just such a memorable moment for me because I literally fell apart. I went like, ‘Aaagh.’ I almost couldn’t handle it.”
What she’s learned about Bella.
“She is confident but not arrogant. Bella is like, ‘I’m allowed to make mistakes and I’m going to do things and take chances and not be ashamed of it.’ You see this girl really build herself back up, and by the time she makes this sort of rash decision to spend eternity with a vampire, you believe her. She’s lived life. She’s grown up.”
Her toughest scene.
“It’s when Edward tells Bella it’s all over and they’re never going to see each other again. There’s nothing like it in reality. It’s not even like a normal breakup scene because I know what it’s like to get broken up with. I don’t know what it’s like to get broken up with by a vampire. It’s like suddenly whatever has addicted an addict is taken away from them and they go through total withdrawal. That’s what Bella was going through. To portray that was really intimidating.”
Her take on immortality.
“The way I consider immortality from both my perspective as Kristen and my perspective as Bella, is that it’s completely unknown but given the right motivating factor, I’d be willing to explore it. Bella’s willing to give it a chance because of Edward, because she’s willing to sacrifice anything for him. To live forever seems on the surface a really cool thing. In our story, it’s terrifying.”
A preview of the third film, Eclipse.
“Just as you think you’re going to get the same story, all of a sudden it completely changes. Bella is back to herself. She’s comfortable and self-assured in a way that she wasn’t in New Moon. What I really loved about Eclipse was exploring different levels of love and acknowledging that the ideals that you had aren’t totally true. The other thing is that Bella’s innately honest. But in Eclipse, she lies to herself and she lies to everybody around her, about the fact that she’s in love with Jacob. That changes everything.”
The scene to watch for.
“Jacob and Edward, who are mortal enemies, are in a tent with sleeping Bella between them. It seems ridiculous, but it happens.”
Taking a chance on life.
“I really feel if you really feel like you need to do it then you should do it. Afterwards, if you’re told that you made a mistake and you admit it, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. You only live once. I say be extreme. Go for it. I think that’s the point of Twilight. I’m not preaching to anybody, but that’s what I think.”

This is the reason I?m not a Twihard - because I don?t really care about Kirsten?s deep thoughts about their characters. I get that a lot of people care, and God bless. It seems like people have been talking about a ?Friends? reunion since before the show was even off the air. There have been all sorts of rumors about why it hasn?t happened; mostly having to do with which cast members weren?t on board. Supposedly there was always one holdout ? Jennifer Aniston, perhaps? None of the other cast members would name names, but Jen has the biggest career of the six of them. Now Lisa Kudrow says the real hold outs are the show?s creators, who just don?t see any good coming from a ?Friends? reunion.
Still hoping for a certain sextet to get back together for lattes, love and laughs at Central Perk?
The wait for a Friends reunion, sadly, might be forever.
Castmate Lisa Kudrow — a.k.a. Phoebe — broke the news to Usmagazine.com that “it doesn’t look like” a reunion for the blockbuster NBC sitcom will ever happen.
“Everyone is busy!” Kudrow explained at Sunday’s P.S. Arts Express Yourself event in Santa Monica, Calif.

I really enjoyed the show when it was on and made sure I never had anything planned on Thursday nights as a result (sad, I know). But I agree with Lisa ? how and why? They wrapped things up reasonably well, and their last few seasons were really good. There were some seasons in the middle that were absolutely awful, so it?s good that they got to go out on a high note. Why mess with that? People are going to be so critical of it, no matter what. The standards would be impossibly high.
I think the problem is that there are no traditional sitcoms left on the air that are any good. People miss the laugh track. Friends was reliable ? even when it sucked, it was still better than most of the other stuff on television. It?s comforting and familiar, like that ex-boyfriend you migrate back to in between better guys. There?s nothing novel or interesting about it, but it can make a reappearance in your life every so often to fill in the gaps. That?s what reruns are for.

Madonna does everything big. And now, the singer just raised a sum of $11 million for her Malawi charity.
The superstar went to African courts to fight to adopt two children from the orphanage in Malawi, and is now helping out the poor area that has also been stricken with AIDS.
Madonna received the money from pledges from Brazilian millionaires while on a trip to Rio while she is said to have visited the parents of her beau, 22-year-old Jesus Luz.
But she denies those rumors or that she was meeting his 36-year-old mother and that her visit was only a philanthropic venture involving meetings with high power Brazilians.
Madonna got an unspecified pledge from the country’s richest man, the mining magnate Eike Batista, whose estimated fortune is worth $7.5million.
The charity is the Raising Malawi Foundation which was started back in 2006. She previously traveled to Malawi with her four children and took part in a ceremony for a girls’ school she started and then took David Banda and Mercy back to visit the orphanage she adopted them from.

This story is in the same sketchy, tantrumy, disgusting, entitled, nasty vein as some previous stories we?ve been hearing about Lindsay Lohan this past week. Allegedly, last week Lindsay was at a hot spot, ordering bottles of champagne and having a good time - until the waitress brought over the bill. Then Lindsay threw a hissy fit, demanding that the bill be put on Kellan Lutz?s credit card. When that was refused, Lindsay apparently had a full-fledged tantrum, crying and wailing and throwing the diva act. This next story is a lot of the same.
According to Fox News Pop Tarts, Lindsay was being paid to show up at an event for Pascal Mouawad?s jewelry line at Kitson. Not only was she being paid, the designer told her she could pick out anything $500 or less to take home. First, Lindsay bargained that number up to $1000. Then she picked out $15,000 worth of stuff she wanted, and when the designer refused to give it to her for free, she pitched another tantrum. Here?s more:
It sounds as though Lindsay Lohan has run into some serious cash flow problems. Last week Pop Tarts reported that the troubled Tinseltowner attempted to pawn an expensive bottle of champagne onto Kellan Lutz?s card at Crown Bar, but now she?s taken it a step further and tried to scam $15,000 worth of free clothes and accessories.
Lohan showed up to last Thursday?s launch of Jermaine Dupri?s new watch line ?NuPop? in collaboration with famed jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad at Kitson in West Hollywood, but wanted more than just a nice watch to take home. Although Linds was apparently already being paid to turn up to the gig, we?re told Mouawad offered the actress $500 to spend at Kitson, which she successfully bargained up to $1000.
Pop Tarts watched as Lohan (looking her usual worse-for-wear self) went crazy in the store pulling out drawers and insisting she wanted this and that, eventually racking up a hefty $15,000 bill. But when told she had exceeded her limit quite significantly, Lohan responded that ?Pascal would take care of it because I?m the only celebrity here.?
(FYI not true ? Dupri himself was there along with Bridget Marquardt and ?Real Housewife? Gretchen Rossi).
?Pascal said no, so she went and started talking smack about him to Jermaine Dupri who doesn?t even know her,? said an insider. ?He was totally bewildered and couldn?t believe it. Eventually Pascal said she could have $2000 to spend but that was the absolutely limit.?
An absolutely distraught Lohan then tried to bargain with the Kitson staffer that was helping her through the store and insist that the boutique should let her take the remaining items for free. In exchange, she offered to ?come in the next day and carry bags out so the paps could take shots.?
?The owner (Fraser Ross) couldn?t be reached so they told Lindsay just to take the $2000 worth and come in the next day and speak with him about the rest,? said our source.
But the drama still didn?t stop there ? Lohan?s friend then got involved and said that it was the least Kitson could do seeing as though the 23-year-old had been such a loyal customer over the years. But Ross still couldn?t be reached and Linds was simply told no. Eventually the sulking starlet took her bags and stormed out in a huff declaring she would return for the rest.
But it seems Mouawad hasn?t been turned off by Lindsay?s behavior and will even consider working with the out-of-work actress.
?Lindsay is a close friend of mine, who has a keen eye for jewelry,? Mouawad told us. ?We have thrown around the idea to collaborate together to create an exclusive line for a retailer who has shown interest in a fashion line designed by her.?

Shocked that Lindsay didn?t just try her other cracked-out jewel heist idea, which is ?borrow? for the jewelry with a credit card imprint (in case it wasn?t returned), then cancel the credit card and keep the jewelry. That?s what she did when she was in Paris. Instead, she tried the ?desperate, tantrumy, cracked-out bargaining? method, which rarely works. What?s even more shocking is that this Mouawad guy is actually one of Lindsay?s friends - he?s defended her for a while, and given her free sh-t before. I guess Lindsay tries the patience of everyone she meets.
Speaking of, The Chicago Sun-Times has a report that pretty much every acquaintance of Lindsay is trying to convince her to go to rehab, usually when they run into her at a party. But crackheads are paranoid! Apparently, whenever people try to talk to her about her problems, she runs. Also, people are still wondering if there?s something going on with her and Leonardo DiCaprio. According to sources, ?Lindsay has a major crush on Leo but that?s as far as it goes right now. She knows him, they are friends but that?s it. Lindsay is ready to be more then friends with Leo but he doesn?t see her that way. She?s says he?s her perfect man but fears he doesn?t take her seriously.? Dur, no one takes her seriously. She?s a f-cking wreck. She?s like the Typhoid Mary of sketchiness.

Brooke Shields has been talking about her struggles with post-partum depression for years. Since 2005, to be exact. That?s when she published her memoir on the subject, Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression. The book could have just been an eye-opening, acclaimed first-person story that shined a light on a tricky subject that was (and perhaps still is) seen as shameful and stigmatized in our society. Unfortunately, the book and Brooke herself became center-stage as Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology twisted the message of the book (?get help, go to a therapist, maybe go on anti-depressants, anything to get through a difficult time? basically) into their own anti-psychiatry, anti-medication message. Tom and Brooke fought about it publicly (?You?re so glib,? Tom told Matt Lauer when Lauer brought up Brooke?s book and message). Brooke and Tom eventually buried the hatchet, and Tom probably got Brooke some additional book sales in the end.
Anyway, Brooke is talking about PPD again, and this time she?s discussing how she came dangerously close to driving into a wall, she was so suicidal. It?s a powerful story:
Brooke Shields has been open about her struggles with post-partum depression, but in revealing new comments she expresses the true depths of her suffering.
Shields, 44, spoke movingly about the stigma of depression and her experience battling the disease on Monday while receiving an advocacy award from the Hope for Depression Research Foundation in Manhattan.
“We think and we feel that we should just be able to handle it on our own,” said the actress, who is mom to two girls, Rowan, 6, and Grier, 3. “I’ve always been strong enough to get through every single difficult situation in my life. I grew up in an addictive household. My mother [Teri] had acute alcoholism. It’s in my blood. I was never going to be the one to succumb to it.”
After a miscarriage and seven IVF attempts, she gave birth to daughter Rowan in 2003 with her husband, TV writer Chris Henchy. “I finally had a healthy beautiful baby girl and I couldn’t look at her,” she said of the depression she felt. “I couldn’t hold her and I couldn’t sing to her and I couldn’t smile at her … All I wanted to do was disappear and die.”
In her deepest moments of despair she said, that the disease led her to believe, “I should not exist. The baby would be better off without me. Life was never going to get better ? so I better just go.”
Shields was prescribed medication, though she stopping taking it one point, thinking she didn’t need them. “That was the week I almost did not resist driving my car straight into a wall on the side of the freeway,” she told the crowd. “My baby was in the back seat and that even pissed me off because I thought she’s even ruining this for me. I just wanted to drive into the wall and my friend stayed on the phone with me and made me safely get home.”
She later called her doctor to ask for more help, and was eventually diagnosed with a chemical imbalance. “I learned what was going on inside my body and what was going on inside my brain,” she said. “I learned I wasn’t doing anything wrong to feel that way. That it was actually out of my control.”
Looking back, she said, “If I had been diagnosed with any other disease, I would have run to get help. I would have worn it like a badge … I didn’t at first ? but finally I did fight. I survived.”

This is one of the reasons I like Brooke - and I think her book and her interviews on the subject were eye-opening, and she made a lot of conversations happen. Do you think Xenu will allow Tom Cruise to let this one go by? I hope so. Tom seems to have learned his lesson, sort of, about telling (ordering) women to reject a psychiatric diagnosis of post-partum depression. I think the message finally got through to Tom - even if he truly believes that women shouldn’t get medical help for PPD, he definitely shouldn?t say it out loud.

Shia LeBeouf is killing me in these pictures. How sweet does he look? Last month, Shia rather infamously threw a hissy fit at Carey?s big premiere of An Education, the film that?s got her some early Oscar buzz. According to eyewitnesses, Shia sat at the bar drinking whiskey, then ?cornered Mulligan and did all sorts of arm-raising and angry-facing before storming off into the night.? Allegedly, Carey has also had to deal with Shia?s wandering eye too. So I had my worries about this young couple. Why does Carey put up with him? Perhaps she made him promise to kiss her nose every day. Perhaps she made him grovel for his apology for attempting to ruin her special night. Who knows? They seem to be going strong now.
Carey is still out promoting An Education, and she told the Hollywood Reporter that Shia encourages her to enjoy her moment: “Shia tells me to enjoy it. He says I can get upset about the photographers, but by the end of the day 98% of it should be positive.” It sounds like Carey has a good head on her shoulders, and she seems generally like a more well-adjusted, healthy young woman. Perhaps that goodness will rub off on Shia? I hope so. I want to love him.

Here are photos from the red carpet of the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles, held last night. Before I get into the stars of the film, I have to admit there are some wacky people on this red carpet. Jeffrey Dean Morgan?!? Why are you at the premiere of a tween film? 50 cent? There goes you street cred, dude.
Now, onto the stars and the fashion. Taylor Lautner wore a navy suit and looked about 12 years old - am I the only one who loses her jailbait crush when he?s fully dressed? Sparkles was in blue too, and he actually looked like he bathed and tried to tamp down his rat?s nest hair. The effect is startlingly good - Sparkles looks like a dreamboat! Meanwhile, Kristen was decked out in a gorgeous, romantic strapless ball gown. Unlike the other New Moon events in Europe last week, it looks like Taylor, Kristen and Sparkles didn?t do a lot of posing together on the red carpet. So, no longing, sexy looks between Sparkles and Kristen, unfortunately. I guess we?ll have to comfort ourselves in the knowledge that Sparkles took a shower. Thank God.

Eva is a good choice because both men and women love Eva Mendes. Talented, sexy, personable, what’s not to like? Hell, I think the adphotos are even turning Eva on a little, and that isgetting me a little warm around the collar, as well. I mean if she likes looking at herself I’ve got a few mirrors around here we could use. So, what doesEva Mendes look for ina man?

Looking fabulous as she tended to hosting duties, Halle Berry stepped out for “An Evening of Awareness” in New York City on Monday evening (November 16).
Held at the Crosby Street Hotel, “An Evening of Awareness” happened to be a benefit event raising funds for the Jenesse Center and the Trevor Project.
Recently having revealed that her mother was a victim of domestic abuse, Berry became involved with Jenesse Center to offer help for domestic violence victims.
Expressing her fondness for being able to work with the residents at the LA treatment center, Halle whole-heartedly tells, “I care, I really care about these women and children.”

Taking the stage for a promotional gig, Rihanna attended the launch party for the NOKIA X6 at the Brixton Academy in London on Monday night (November 16).
With celebs including former Spice Girl Emma Bunton in attendance, the Barbadian beauty turned out tunes from her upcoming album, Rated R, which hits store shelves on November 23rd.
Among the evening’s set, Rihanna knocked out new tunes including “Russian Roulette,” “Mad House,” “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard”.
Bringing up special guests including Young Jeezy and Jay-Z, the 20-year-old also dropped some of her past tunes such as “Take A Bow,” “Live Your Life” and “Run This Town”.

Hot on the promotional trail, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt turned up at Borders Books & Music, Columbus Circle in New York City on Monday (November 16).
Following a previous stop at MTV studios, the “Hills” couple hit up the local bookstore to boost interest in their just-released book, “How To Be Famous”.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, the MTV co-star lovers were snubbed earlier on in the day by the “Today” show - having their scheduled morning appearance canceled at the last minute.
All day long, Spencer has been slamming weatherman Al Roker, saying things like, “WEATHERMAN I thought you were out of town today getting your stomache stapled again?” and “is it true you have been married 6 times? I’m sure all your wives left you when they realized you were abusive to women! Sicko!”
The feud between Al and Speidi began in June when the pair appeared on the talk show to promote their appearance on “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”
Roker, 55, took the liberty to tell Pratt he was considered a “jerk,” while Montag claims Roker made her cry with his “rude” questioning.
