Another day, another round of Public Mom Shaming. This time, the torch and pitchfork brigade has gone after Jenni “J-Woww” Farley and her husband Roger Mathews. Jenni (for some reason I keep misspelling J-Woww) posted this picture Sunday of Roger and her two-month-old baby Greyson hanging out in the pool:

Matt Damon, 45, has said for years that he’s getting too old to play Bourne. He said that around the time the third movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, came out in 2007. It sounded like he was over playing the character back then. Damon said that he “definitely felt my age” during the fight scenes and at that point he practically ruled out playing Bourne again. “We?ve ridden that horse as far as we can. The character lives on in the books and if someone else wanted to play it, I guess they could.” There was news that Damon was working on the fourth Bourne movie back in 2009, but then director Paul Greengrass pulled out and so did Damon. The result was The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner playing another agent, which came out in 2012. Eventually Greengrass signed on again, Damon as you know agreed to come back and we have Jason Bourne, which is out in two weeks yay! Only it sounds like Damon is not jazzed at the thought of making even more Bourne movies. He brought it up in an interview with Australian TV recently, joking that Angelina Jolie was younger than him but was replaced as Tomb Raider by Alicia Vikander (his new costar), and he mentioned it again in an interview with The Hollywood reporter, saying that it would be fine if he was replaced.
Matt Damon says he’s “totally fine” with a younger actor taking over the role of Jason Bourne after he’s done with the action franchise.
Speaking on a promotional tour in Seoul, South Korea, Damon, who returns for the fifth installment titled Jason Bourne that’s released this summer, said he was “definitely going to be replaced some day by some new young Jason Bourne. That happens to everybody and they reboot these things, and that’s totally fine.”
Damon added: “The only control I can exercise is over the ones that I?m part of. I’m the curator of them as long as I’m involved and that’s why I battled so hard to make sure that we got the same creative people [including director Paul Greengrass] to get involved in this one.”
Fourteen years since the first film in the franchise, Damon said he was “very excited” to be playing Bourne again, a character that “had a huge impact on my life and career.”
He said, however, it wasn’t easy to keep up with action sequences at his age. “It’s difficult when you’re 45 compared to when you’re 29, but you still have to run as fast as you can. That part was a challenge but to get to revisit the people was wonderful. But I said, let’s smell the roses as we say and appreciate that we get to be here together and make sure we have fun [especially because it was so tense on the set for the other films].”

Given how often Damon has talked about this, I doubt he’s up for another sequel after this one. I also doubt this is some sort of negotiation tactic. He’s grateful to the Bourne franchise for helping his career so tremendously but he no longer wants to play this character. He’s also got to know on some level that if he wanted to continue as Bourne he could do it up until his late 50s/early 60s. This isn’t like Angelina Jolie being “too old” to play Tomb Raider at 41, the rules are different for men. As Kaiser brought up, Bruce Willis was 58 when the last Die Hard movie came out in 2013. Liam Neeson has been doing Taken sequels into his early 60s. Matt Damon is Jason Bourne, but sounds like he wants to pass that torch soon.

While I know a lot of people are already rolling their eyes at the sight of Kim Kardashian on the cover of Forbes, just hold on! Because I read Forbes? cover story and it?s super-interesting. The cover story isn?t really a straight celebrity interview of Kim Kardashian: Businesswoman. It?s more like ?How did Kim Kardashian of all people figure out how to profit so enormously from a mobile game and Kimojis?? Like, if the internet is an enigma, Kim has figured it out completely and she?s one of the smartest ?branded? celebrities online. I?m not even joking. Kim was really pleased with her cover too ? she tweeted: ?Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of @forbes! I never dreamed this would happen& know my Dad would be proud #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent.? Well, doesn?t she have a talent? She can?t sing or dance or act, but she?s good at advertising herself and she?s great at branding. It?s a brave new world where those are legit talents to have.
Anyway, you can read Kim?s Forbes cover story here. I found it interesting because they go into the history of how Kim hooked up with Glu Mobile to release the wildly successful Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game, and how involved she is with making sure the game/s are successful. The word Forbes uses is ?shrewd.? As in, Kim is a shrewd businesswoman. She?s not afraid to try new things with online content, emojis and games, and she?s great at building successful ventures from the ground up. The KK: Hollywood game ?has been downloaded 45 million times and generated $160 million in revenue. Forbes estimates that Kardashian has pocketed $45 million from it over that period. This year she earned $51 million to land at No. 42 on Forbes Celebrity 100 list; 40% of her yearly paycheck came from the game.? Here are some assorted quotes from Kim:
Why she?s doing so much online: ?I became really intrigued with the tech world. I started spending a lot of time in San Francisco. I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on.?
When Glu Mobile approached her about doing a game: ?I loved videogames, growing up. I remember I asked Kanye, ?Should I do this?? He was like, ?Yes!? That?s how he got into music, because he wanted to do music for videogames and wanted to create videogames. I was like, ?I wonder if people are really going to ? mimic my life.? ?
How the game came together: Kris Jenner negotiated a deal that provided Kardashian with a small six-figure-minimum guarantee against, sources say, a whopping 40% cut of revenues, after platform fees. (Glu denies this figure.) Kardashian also had overall editorial approval, spending a year finalizing clothing ideas and okaying each storyline in the game. She signed off on ?every single outfit, to the eyeliner, to the hairstyles, to the color tones,? she says, and still does. (?She responds to my texts faster than my own employees,? says Glu Mobile?s de Masi.)
She loves how successful it is: ?When I found out what my percentage was, I was, like, ?Oh, my gosh.? Then I was like, ?Okay, whatever we?ve got to do to keep this going.? ?

The whole cover story details how Kim keeps up (groan) with Glu Mobile and she sends them story ideas for the game, photos of herself, photos of her clothes (all of which will be used in-game) and more. Kim sounds impressively involved and detail-oriented. Does anyone else wonder if Kim should take over as Kanye?s manager at some point? I bet she could do wonders for his career, just at an organizational level. I?m not even joking.

Modern Family?s Sofia Vergara celebrated her 44th birthday in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Guests, including hubby Joe Manganiello?s co-star and BFF, Paul Reubens (better known as Pee-Wee Herman), celebrated with Sofia and her 23-year-old son, Manolo. The party had a lemon theme, featuring lemon decorations, a lemon cake, a limoncello bar and cocktails with lemon-flavored vodka. My kind of party. Sofia even had her own custom Snapchat filter with a ?Feliz Cumpleaos, Sofia? banner.
Side note: I was trying to figure out the connection between lemons and parties. Heed my advice, do NOT Google “Lemon Party.” That is something you cannot unsee. Here’s what it means though. (SFW)
Sofia’s party was rather spur of the moment, or so she says. She told Extra that she made no plans because, ?I thought I was not going to be in town…I organized something really fast last week, so it?s just going to be, like, a dinner; it?s not going to be that big or that crazy, it?s just going to be simple, ’cause I thought I really was going to be in New York.? Looking at some of the pictures from the festivities, her party looked nothing like my spontaneous celebrations, which usually involve a 12-pack of Michelob Ultra, a pizza from the local Mom and Pop parlor and lots of store brand tortilla chips and salsa. Yes, I’m jealous.
It’s obvious Sofia’s sense of humor has been passed down to Manolo. On Snapchat he modeled a lemon costume next to a lemon tree with the caption ?My family tree.? He later posted a video to Instagram, wishing his Mom a happy birthday and then being jokingly urged out of frame by Sofia before he reveals her age. Later, Sofia donned the lemon costume and damned if she didn?t look gorgeous in that too.

Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out and about in New York on Monday. She?s in NYC doing the promotional rounds for Caf Society, the Woody Allen movie. The suit is by The Kooples, and it?s actually a pretty good look. I don?t mind that she?s wearing flats, but I don?t care for these particular Chanel Resort flats. Otherwise this is a very clean, pretty look for K-Stew. This is what she wore for her Good Morning America interview, which you can see here. She says she adores Jesse Eisenberg, who is ?stupidly smart.? She also talked a little bit about how she got the part ? she had to audition for Woody Allen.
?I had to audition for the part because I tend to have a more weighted energy. And the character has this light, buoyant energy. Woody said, ?As long as you don’t walk like a sailor you will be fine.? So I auditioned for it and apparently did OK.?

I never get tired of the younger generations? constant self-reflection and need to define themselves to other people. They can?t just BE, they have to describe how they are to other people. Kristen thinks she has a ?weighted energy? ? does she? While I don?t think she?s a silly, ?light? person, I also don?t think she?s as dark, weighted and mysterious as she thinks she is.
Kristen is also promoting Equals during the same promotional tour, and Kristen and Nick Hoult did a joint interview with E! a few days ago. It?s getting a lot of attention because Nick and Kristen riff on James Bond and who should be cast. Hoult says he?s not interested, mostly because he thinks he?s too young. Kristen thinks that the whole franchise is getting ?a little stale? anyway, and when Hoult says that Idris Elba should be the next Bond, Kristen basically says that they should hire a woman. Hoult says if she was Jane Bond, he would be her Q.

I didn?t realize it until just now, but I actually missed Lindsay Lohan?s crack drama. There were years when we got Lohan drama regularly, practically weekly. But she?s been quiet lately, plus I get the feeling that most media outlets don?t even care enough to detail her shenanigans at this point. So, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 30th birthday on July 2. To celebrate, her fianc Egor Tarabasov took Lindsay and a group of people to Mykonos, Greece for an extended celebration. They were still there as of this past weekend. Hilariously, Page Six noted a few days ago that Lindsay tried to get various companies or brands to sponsor her birthday party but ?nobody was interested,? even after she put together a ?one-sheet? proposal of sponsorship opportunities. That alone is funny/sad. But then Lindsay had to bring the drama.
Lindsay Lohan threw her fiance’s phone into the sea, sparking a huge row. The Mean Girls actress was reportedly infuriated after reading a text message on Egor Tarabasov’s mobile device and stunned their friends and family – including the businessman’s mother Elena – at Chinawhite on Rakkan Beach in Mykonos with her explosive reaction. And Egor quickly retaliated, throwing a drink over the 30-year-old star. The pair then argued before security stepped in to calm the situation.
An onlooker told The Sun newspaper: ‘Everything was fine between them before something on Egor’s phone upset Lindsay. They then started shouting and screaming at each other. Lindsay threw his phone in the sea, she looked absolutely furious. The security at the beach club had to pull them apart and Lindsay left in her car while Egor went back to the party.’
Egor’s mother was left unimpressed by the incident, as she was overheard urging her son to end their volatile romance.
While representatives for the actress claimed the row was ‘all in jest,’ Lindsay appeared to reference the situation on her Instagram account. She wrote: ‘Falling in love in exhausting …. Especially when you’re the older woman and have already seen it all #love is the most important thing at the end of the day #serenity (sic)’ But hours later, the Machete star – who got engaged to Egor earlier this year after eight months of dating – shared a picture of herself and Egor with a string of love heart emojis, proving their romance is back on track.

The fact that Lindsay threw Egor?s phone into the sea is Classic Crack Drama and unsurprising. Remember when Lindsay was a whirling dervish of nonstop entitlement, drama and idiocy? What surprises me here is two things. One, Egor reacted by throwing a drink on her, which says to me that even Egor sort of thinks that he could do better. Two, that Egor?s mom witnessed the whole mess and was not impressed. Seems like Lindsay overplayed her hand, right? If she wants to keep her wealthy young lover, she needs to ease up on her usual shenanigans.
