Their new movie ?Hot Pursuit? hits theaters on May 8th and Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon are already hitting the promotional trail.
On Monday (April 13) the ?Cruel Intentions? chick and the ?Modern Family? knockout visited ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? where they shared how an on-camera fight scene landed Witherspoon in the emergency room.
A laughing Vergara explained, ?I popped her ovary,? and Reese continued, ?I thought my appendix had burst! It?s clearly something that happens in Colombia? I don?t know what happened.?

Making the most of her Sunday evening, Nicole Scherzinger showed up at the Royal Opera House in London, England last night (April 12).
The ?Boomerang? babe was in the house to perform at the 2015 Olivier Awards and she looked dazzling in a striking fishtail gown with a peplum detail, followed later by a black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline.
After the gig, Nicole posted a series of photos to her Instagram account (including one with Kevin Spacey) and shared her gratitude- ?So honored and blessed to have performed here at the #OlivierAwards #RoyalOperaHouse.?

I guess I?m an idiot, because I didn?t realize that everyone would want to talk about Gwyneth Paltrow deigning to try the Food Stamp Challenge, so I dumped the story in Friday?s links. So, let?s talk about it. Apparently, Gwyneth?s dear friend Mario Batali convinced her to try it ? the official name for the stunt (it?s a good stunt, but it?s a stunt, let?s call a spade a spade) is the Food Bank NYC Challenge. Batali got Goop and other people to try to live on $29 a week, which is what families living below the poverty line get in food stamps (SNAP) in the real world to spend on food. Gwyneth posted this photo on her Twitter:

The MTV Movie Awards were held last night and I was surprised to see that some big-name celebrities actually came out. The awards show last year was actually kind of pathetic in its turnout, but I guess enough celebrities wanted to promote their summer movies to the kidz this year, so they all came out. You can see the list of winners here ? it was a big night for Shailene Woodley and The Fault In Our Stars.
So, let?s talk fashion! Jennifer Lopez won an award for ?Best Scared As Sh-t Performance? for The Boy Next Door. Jennifer knew she was going to win too, which is why she came out in the first place. She wore this absolutely killer Versus Versace suit/minidress thing. She looks amazing, right? I mean, I?m a J.Lo apologist so I generally think she?s glamorous, but she looked especially great last night.
Amy Schumer wore Balmain on the red carpet. A lot of people are complaining about Amy?s raunchy, awkward performance as host. I?ve seen a few of her stand-up specials and I consider her an acquired taste. You have to sit there and watch for about ten minutes before you get into the rhythms of her comedy. My point? Her comedic brand was never going to work well as a host of a major awards show. As for the raunch? eh. It is what it is. The world rewards Kevin Hart for being raunchy, but Amy Schumer?
Anna Camp and Rebel Wilson were there to promote Pitch Perfect 2. I love Anna and her Peter Pilotto dress was cute. Rebel Wilson wore what was possibly the best dress she?s ever worn. I can?t find the ID for it, but it looks very Tom Ford-ish, right? It?s not Tom Ford though.
Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara presented together and skipped the red carpet. Reese wore Mugler and Sofia wore Noam Hanoch. Both looked fine, I?m not sure why they skipped the red carpet.

The MTV Movie Awards were last night and it turned into a Marvel promotional event. Of course. That?s just the demographics ? The Avengers: Age of Ultron comes out in just a few weeks and their promotional trail has started to go full throttle as of this weekend. Scarlett Johansson was one of the few Avengers to walk the red carpet, and it feels like every time I see her, Scarlett looks radically different. It?s not even some HUGE change from how she looked at the Oscars, but she did change up her hair a little bit, plus it looks like she?s lost even more weight. Scarlett wore this Zuhair Murad jumpsuit which? it?s okay. It?s not my cup of tea, but I like that she wore pants. Also: she really, really looks like Elsa Pataky, right? I?m not just imagining that?

I?m not a big Cara Delevigne fan, but she looked really nice in this Reem Acra. Her makeup was great (Cara is very makeup-dependent) but her hair was? unusual.

Did you remember that Jennifer Love Hewitt, 36, is pregnant with her second child? I did not until I saw recent paparazzi photos of her last week, below. Other than that Hewitt has laid surprisingly low, especially since she had her daughter, Autumn James, in late 2013. I haven’t seen one photo of the baby (apart from stroller pics where you can’t see her face) and Hewitt hasn’t posted any photos to social media of Autumn that I can find. (If I’m wrong please let me know.) I would have never pinned Hewitt for the private type, but she hasn’t revealed her baby’s face and she hasn’t made a public point of shielding her child’s identity either. We similarly didn’t see any photos of her wedding with Brian Hallisay, and we didn’t hear that she was married until after the fact.
Hewitt covers the upcoming American Baby magazine. Doesn’t she look just like Kelly Preston on the cover? They have a video interview with Hewitt, which reminds me of the reasons I like her. Hewitt is always so friendly and perky, and she’s wanted a husband and babies forever, so it’s nice to see it happening for her. She’s super enthusiastic about it too. She likes being pregnant
I kind of feel my best when I’m pregnant, which means I should probably have 18 children. It won’t happen. But I do feel good.
On being pregnant again
I think I feel really grateful. I know how hard it is for lots of women to even get pregnant in the first place, some people never get to have kids, so I just feel really lucky that my husband and I have been able to do this… now twice… so I do feel happy.
On her pregnancy cravings and diet
Pickles for me this time have actually been a thing and they’ve been making fun of me at work… Italian food, which I kind of like anyway. You know, cake, hotdogs, you name it really.
On if her daughter knows she’s pregnant
I don’t know what she thinks of the belly. I’m not sure if she just thinks I’m fat… or if she knows that there’s something in there, but she’s very sweet. Every morning and night she’ll sort of rub my belly and she likes to kiss the belly.
Again, she really likes being pregnant
Just the feeling of it, I mean, it’s really cool… As somebody who’s been in this business for a long time and had to sort of be all about… what’s your figure look like, your regimen… I think if you can just sorta let that stuff go and really embrace what you’re doing, you feel kind of awesome.

I’ll have to see what the print interview is like but in the the video she didn’t say anything highly quotable. It’s nice hear how grateful she is to be pregnant, and to see how happy she is. Hewitt waited a long time to find the right guy, and she had a lot of high profile attempts. She knows she’s lucky and she’ll tell you about it without pimping out her kid.
Oh and in terms of the editorial, it’s cheesy but it kind of shows her personality perfectly. She’s sunny and enthusiastic. I could do without the belly baring pic though. You can see more photos here.
