Taylor Swift and Matt Healy dated for several months in 2023. I still believe that Healy was one of the big reasons why Taylor and Joe Alwyn ended their years-long relationship, and there were breadcrumbs indicating that Taylor and Healy started up months before they really ?went public.? Healy?s mother is Denise Welch, a local celebrity in the UK. She?s an actress and one of the panelists on Loose Women, which is sort of like the UK?s version of The View. When Healy and Swift were together, Denise had nice things to say about Taylor, but Denise mostly avoided talking about the brief and chaotic relationship. Now Healy is engaged to Gabbriette Bechtel, and Welch openly adores her. Well, Welch appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night, and that messy bitch Andy Cohen asked her directly about Taylor and The Tortured Poets Department. Many of the songs on TTPD were about Healy, so fair enough.
When asked about TTPD, Denise told Cohen: ?Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost. Not that I have anything against her at all! It was just ? it was tricky.? My unpopular opinion: I think Denise probably speaks for a lot of moms out there, moms who do not want their sons to get involved with Taylor. And it?s even weirder because Taylor gets introduced to her boyfriends? moms so quickly! She met Tom Hiddleston?s mom like two seconds after they started up! Same with Travis Kelce.
Denise also said: ?She ? listen, youre not allowed to say anything, and then she writes a whole album about it?.Matty has taken it all in completely good grace. He?s very happy with his amazing fiance Gabriella, who is gorgeous. So, weve moved on.? LMAO. Healy absolutely moved on. Something I sort of appreciate about the Swifties is that they really don?t blame him for being terrible, which he is. The Swifties kind of put that whole episode down to Taylor?s bad choices and they think TTPD is Taylor working through her terrible mistake.

Justin Timberlake is still out on tour. (What tour? The world tour.) He?s currently on the European leg, and it seems concertgoers across the EU are wishing Justin would actually shake a leg at his own dang show. Videos are popping up all over social media that reveal performances from JT that are undeniably lackluster, listless, and rather lacking in vocals. And where there are videos, there are comments raising legitimate concerns, like why Justin won?t just dance, dance, dance and rock his body. Or when will he be bringing singing back. Like I said, they?re fair questions, especially once you watch one of the clips. But it?s the array of zingers people are coming up with that will have me laughing until the end of time.
Justin Timberlake is facing a firestorm of criticism from fans who accuse him of delivering ?dishonest? performances on his current tour. A viral TikTok video from a Paris concert has opened the floodgates, with social media platforms like Reddit inundated with comments from disappointed concertgoers questioning the star?s work ethic. The latest concert appearance comes after the singer received backlash for a similar performance in Romania.
The online mockery has been swift and brutal. After footage showed Timberlake seemingly letting the audience handle vocal duties, one user quipped, ?this performance could have been an email.? The sentiment was widely shared, with others calling the tour the ?Justin Timberlake karaoke tour? and suggesting, ?The back up singers deserve his paycheck.?
The jokes pointed to a deep sense of being short-changed. ?Is the performance in the room with us?? one commenter sarcastically asked. Another joked, ?Go girl, give us nothing.? There?s a term in rehearsals called ?marking? it, when you go through a sequence to map out spacing and timing, but you don?t do it at full throttle performance level energy. That?s what I see Justin doing in these clips. The internet is right (for once!), what he?s doing up on stage is not the caliber fans pay to see! (Let alone for the prices they?re asked to cough up.) And yeah, he really is passing off singing duties to the audience waaaay too much, fo? shiz fo? shiz. Among the plethora of outstanding comments, I equally love ?this performance could have been an email? and ?Go girl, give us nothing.? Just coming up with these quips took more effort than what Justin?s giving! But I think we all know it?s the Airbnb line that really takes the cake. No notes.
Poor Justin! Out on his lonely, unglamorous world tour, where he?s been forced to cancel several stops due to injuries and illnesses. Plus the mean young cop in Sag Harbor didn?t recognize him and the mean iconic pop star he used to date exposed him as a douche, and in the middle of it all his wife cut her hair into a bob! Justin thought his DWI was going to ruin the tour; turns out he was capable of doing that all on his own. Cry me a river indeed.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are celebrating their two-year anniversary around this time. We don?t actually know when they first got together, but I assume it was probably in June/July 2023. Taylor and Trav have also been largely in the wind since the Super Bowl this year Travis has popped up at charity golf tournaments and various events, but he and Taylor have been vacationing and spending time together. They haven?t put their relationship online in any big way in two years only a couple of appearances on each other?s socials. Which is nice! Well, Travis decided to do a lovely photo dump on Thursday, and he included so many photos of Taylor!
Obviously, these photos have reignited all of the rumors of an engagement and more. In the photo above, where Taylor and Travis are both in black, you can see Travis?s phone and his lockscreen? and it appears his lockscreen is of himself and Taylor, with Taylor pointing to her left hand. I wouldn?t have noticed, but you know how forensic the Snake Fam is when it comes to this stuff. Would Taylor get engaged and not tell her fans? Yes. She would. I?m not saying that?s what has happened, but I wouldn?t be surprised! Anyway, these are some very cute photos. They seem genuinely happy together and genuinely in love.

Pedro Pascal is a man who loves his female costars. I?m sure he loves and is loved by his male costars. But when he gets to star in a project alongside a woman, he?s pretty much going to be BFFs with that woman. It recently happened with The Materialists and Dakota Johnson. It?s happening big-time with Vanessa Kirby, as they promote The Fantastic Four: First Steps around the world. Pedro plays Mister Fantastic, Vanessa plays Sue Storm. Joseph Quinn plays the Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm. To be fair, the whole cast seemingly gets along really well, but Vanessa and Pedro appear to have gotten quite close. They?re the two ?leads? so I guess they?re being paired together for photoshoots, premieres, photocalls and the like. So, what?s the problem? People are worried about how Vanessa and Pedro are very handsy with one another.

A fan took to X to share a compilation of videos of the co-stars getting handsy during several interviews for their forthcoming Marvel film. One clip showed the actress, who is engaged to Paul Rabil and pregnant, with her hand around the ?Last Of Us? star?s shoulder as she caressed his face.
In another video, Kirby, 37, tenderly approached Pascal, 50, and embraced him on the side with her face nearly touching his cheek. A third clip showed the ?Crown? star holding the actor?s hand while talking about ?some of the best men in the world.?
Fans were confused by the duo?s touchy interactions, with one commenting, ?Why is she rubbing him like that??
?Actors are very touchy feely I?ll never understand it,? another chimed in. ?this is crazy,? a third wrote, as a fourth agreed, ?Very handsy.?
Others defended the friends, claiming that Pascal might ?suffer from some type of anxiety disorder? and need ?touch ? to make him calm down and feel comfortable.?

People really don?t know the lore around Paulson and Pascal, I guess they?ve been best friends for years and years (since before he was super-famous) and she?s a lesbian in a longtime partnership with Holland Taylor. Someone suggested that this whole ?Pedro is bad for touching his female friends? thing has been started by TERFs who are mad about Pedro calling out JK Rowling. Could be. It definitely feels inorganic. When ScarJo and Jonathan Bailey were making out on every red carpet, people kept talking about how cute they were together. What?s different here?

This week, some royal gossip sort of got buried. Over the weekend, the Times of London published a semi-authorized profile on Princess Anne ahead of her 75th birthday. Anne does not want any fuss for herself or her birthday, but some ?royal insiders? spoke on her behalf to the Times. It?s very common for the palace to authorize these kinds of birthday profiles, which is why it was fascinating to see those ?sources? criticize Prince William within Anne?s b-day profile. The Times noted that while Anne is ?fond of her nephew,? several sources told them that Anne wants to see William do more ?bread and butter? royal engagements, especially hosting investitures at Windsor Castle. Per a source close to Anne: ?She?s still doing most of the investitures [at Windsor] even though William lives there. It annoys her.? Well, funny story. Anne had to shlep all the way over to Windsor Castle this week to host another investiture. While William, Kate and the kids were lounging on a superyacht in Greece.
Princess Anne is holding an investiture at Windsor Castle after a report claimed that she thinks Prince William should be leading more of these ceremonies. On July 22, the Princess Royal, 74, hosted an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where she presented medals to a group including actress Sarah Lancashire. Investitures are services in which a working member of the royal family presents insignias to individuals recognized for outstanding contributions in honors lists, which are released twice annually.
Currently, just three royals can host the events. The royal familys website outlines that only King Charles, Princess Anne and Prince William can conduct the honor, leaving the small group responsible for about 30 investitures a year.
So far in 2025, Princess Anne has held the most investiture ceremonies. According to a tally from Gerts Royals, she has hosted 10 of the events including Tuesdays, while King Charles has done six and Prince William has done five.
Over the weekend, The Sunday Times published a new profile on the Princess Royal ahead of her 75th birthday in August, where a source said that Anne would like to see William, 43, partake in more bread-and-butter royal duties.
She?s still doing most of the investitures [at Windsor] even though William lives there. It annoys her, a source told the Sunday Times.
While the Prince of Wales and his wife, Kate Middleton, live minutes away from Windsor Castle at Adelaide Cottage with their children, his calendar already had a commitment on July 22 ? his son Prince Georges 12th birthday.

It was George?s birthday, how dare you expect William to work!? They use a similar excuse for the kids? school holidays too, like it would be a fate worse than death for parents to work at all while their kids are out of school. Anyway, it?s just funny, it?s almost as if Anne set it up on purpose, knowing that William and Kate were going to be squirrelled away on an Arab prince?s superyacht while Anne was trudging through her tenth investiture of the year.

Alien: Earth premieres on FX in a few weeks. This is Noah Hawley?s take on the ever-expanding Alien franchise, and this is the first-ever TV series made within the ?franchise.? The series stars Timothy Olyphant and Sydney Chandler in the lead roles. Chandler is the 29-year-old daughter of Kyle Chandler, best known for Friday Night Lights, Zero Dark Thirty, etc. Sydney is a nepo baby, with a slim CV for a 29-year-old, but she?s gotten rave reviews for her performance in Alien: Earth people who have screened the series say that she?s a stand-out and she?s terrific. Which is why she was supposed to be front-and-center for the promotion for the show. Variety planned to put Sydney on their cover alongside Olyphant and Hawley. But Sydney and her team screwed it up completely, and Variety is calling her out:
Her agent texts us: ?She?s coming.? Then, minutes later, her publicist writes: ?No. She is not coming. Spoke to her just now. Her stylist and glam are not responding. She?s also very sick.?
It?s the day of the photo shoot, and the star of FX?s would-be summer smash is missing. Sydney Chandler, who plays Wendy on ?Alien: Earth,? is supposed to appear on Variety?s cover with her co-star Timothy Olyphant and the show?s creator, Noah Hawley. One day before the shoot, though she had agreed to be photographed, Chandler made it known (through reps) that she wasn?t willing to participate in the kind of video interview that is the standard ask at Variety ? as at other publications. Prolonged negotiations continued until the morning of the shoot.
At first, one of Chandler?s reps voiced the actor?s concern about playing a game with ?two older men? (in other words, her co-star and showrunner, who are, respectively, 57 and 58). The game, the comic test ?How Well Do They Know Each Other?,? seemed innocuous to us ? everyone from Ariana Grande to Ryan Reynolds to Daniel Craig has done it in the past. But to demonstrate good faith, we offered to show Chandler sample questions. Then, she sent a list of ones we?d never ask. (We don?t ever offer question approval, and there?s good reason why: ?How many ?Alien? films are there?? was high on Chandler?s list.) After that, she changed her mind and decided a game on video wasn?t something she felt comfortable doing at all. Now, on the morning of the shoot, after some convincing from her agent, we hear she will come. Then Chandler decides, after all that ? never mind, she can?t make it.
It?s a fact of life for magazine journalists that dealing with talent can be a roller coaster; no shoot is ever easy. Chandler, at 29, is just emerging, having grown up adjacent to the industry, but not in it ? her father, with whom she recorded her audition tape for ?Alien: Earth,? is Emmy winner Kyle Chandler, but the actor and his wife, Kathryn, raised Chandler outside Austin, not in Los Angeles. In our first conversation, before the shoot ? she was enthusiastic about the show, if clear-eyed about how challenging the production had been. So all of this comes as something of a shock: What happened?
?I?m just a private person,? she says in a subsequent phone interview. She says her opting out was simply drawing a firm boundary, not a response to any problem. ?I?m new to press ? it?s a bit out of my comfort zone. I was more than happy to talk about anything and everything about the show; that?s what I?m here to promote.?
Hawley, the veteran TV creator who?s made five seasons of ?Fargo? for FX, is also dispirited by Chandler?s absence from the shoot. ?The show is built around Sydney?s character, and the work she did as a professional was tremendous,? he says afterward. ?I?m disappointed that my female-centric show, based on a female-facing franchise, does not have my lead actress on the cover. It felt awkward to be there with Tim without her.?
He tells me he hasn?t talked to Chandler about her decision. ?I tend to feel like that promotional relationship that everybody has with the Disney Corporation is their own,? he says. ?I don?t have to showrun the publicity.?

?I?m new to press ? it?s a bit out of my comfort zone.? People would still call out these kinds of unprofessional antics from an ingenue in her late teens, but ultimately it would be a ?live and learn? situation she would be called out, she would learn her lesson, and make the necessary professional adjustments. But a 29-year-old flaking out on VARIETY? For a cover shoot? And disrespecting her showrunner and costar, who is also a beloved veteran actor? Yiiikes. I also don?t understand Sydney?s beef with those Variety videos most outlets do videos where the actors play games or quiz each other these days, and for good reason. Those videos are usually more widely viewed than the cover stories. Those videos ARE promotion and they work really well, especially if they go viral. What a mess. How unprofessional.

I cannot believe we?re in another gossip newscycle where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are choosing to remain silent about their business. The same thing happened in 2023, when Spotify ended Harry and Meghan?s contract and Bill Simmons rantingly called them ?fking grifters.? Instead of defending their professional reputations or their work with Spotify, they just? stayed silent and let the story fester and linger. This year, H&M have been cleaning house, especially with their communications people. They?ve seemingly implemented a new strategy which is both reactive and proactive, and it?s been working really well. Actually, it was working well before this week. This week, we learned that Netflix will not renew the Sussexes contract, but they might sign on to a first-look deal with the streamer. It?s unknown. Instead of coming out and clarifying exactly what?s happening, the Sussexes are just? staying silent. From what I can see of the coverage, the Sussexes? comms team hasn?t said anything or pushed back in any way. Which gives outlets like the Daily Mail to spread these kinds of asinine stories:
Another nail in the coffin for Prince Harry and Meghan Markles $100million Netflix deal was that her Napa Valley wine isnt selling, an insider at the streaming giant has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also fallen out of favour with A-listers, especially the former Suits star, MailOnlines source has said.
No one in Hollywood rates them anymore or wants to be around them, especially her, the insider said, adding: People are bored with them.
Netflix, who have been her As Ever brands business partner, is believed to have declined to renew the couples $100million five-year deal in September after their two most recent shows flopped.
Netflix has been working with Meghan to launch and promote her products, some of which have been made by their preferred suppliers, including her jam.
MailOnlines insider at the streaming giant has said that Meghans ros, which promises to capture the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments, has not been a huge success and this was another nail in the coffin for the $100million broadcast deal. The wine isnt selling, they said.
Commenting on As Evers claims the wine sold out in an hour, the source added: Its small batch meaning it was only ever produced in a small quantity.
Netflix believes the launch has shown that there isnt a demand for her wine from a mass market point of view and this means a bigger and more lucrative supermarket or department store deal is unlikely, the source claimed. Customers had to purchase a minimum of three bottles for $90 or six bottles for $159, and 12 bottles for $300. This mean there was a minimum spend of $119, as buyers were also charged $20 for shipping, plus taxes.
2025 has been billed as the year the Sussexes would relaunch. As well as Meghans new TV show and lifestyle business, the couple have been out and about at concerts including multiple Beyonce shows. There was also a flurry of activity on Meghans Instagram account, including a number of personal family video such as twerking when about to give birth.
Meghan hasnt posted on her own socials for nearly a month, MailOnline Netflix insider said. The issue is that theres no consistency and people are bored with them. Many stars go silent and in the background are building their brand and equity but it feels like Harry and Meghan are losing their way even more. The Netflix deal not being renewed will have a big impact on them as they are running out of options of who will work with them and reap in the future. As Ever has a good fan base and a strong database of subscribers to its newsletter but consistency is key and its not delivering on this so people will quickly be bored and the novelty is wearing off now for most.

Obviously, this ?Netflix insider? can?t even keep their story straight the wine isn?t selling, oh but it only sold out because it was a small batch, oh, no one likes them and everyone is bored with them, which is why everyone is watching everything Meghan does and says. The larger problem is that there?s an information vacuum and the Sussexes are once again letting the worst, most deranged people define their business in the public sphere. Why wouldn?t people believe this nonsense if the Mail was ?right? about Netflix not renewing their contract with the Sussexes?
