Slated to be a 10-part miniseries, ?American Crime Story? is created by Ryan Murphy and promises to be a riveting legal thriller.
Also on the cast are big names like Cuba Gooding Jr. (OJ), David Schwimmer (Robert Kardashian) and Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark).

Doesn’t it seem like everyone is getting pregnant or having babies this time of year? Plus there are women who are announcing pregnancies when they have a baby under two at home. That’s the case with Jennifer Love Hewitt, 35, who is expecting her second child with her husband, Brian Hallisay. Hallisay and Hewitt just welcomed daughter Autumn James in November of 2013 and she’s already having another one. She’s due to give birth later this year. Here’s the news from US Weekly:

Hewitt has always said that she wanted a husband and a family and it’s really happening for her. I checked Hewitt’s Twitter and she’s played her personal life remarkably close to the vest. There isn’t one photo I could find of her baby or husband, it’s all about her career and the things she’s promoting. I’m surprised. She seems like the type to capitalize on motherhood but she hasn’t done that at all. Congratulations to J.Love and Brian!

I was actually holding these Jennifer Aniston stories yesterday because I thought that Jennifer would definitely attend the People?s Choice Awards. I mean, that?s her awards show, right? She has at least a dozen People?s Choice Awards and she?s like the poster girl for that kind of awards show. But that was before the #Cake was washing over all of us and we were being caked into submission. This year, Aniston is too important for the People?s Choice Awards. This year, it?s Oscars or bust!
Speaking of her Oscar campaign, please read this amazingly bitchy Slate piece on Aniston and Cake. Slate isn?t saying that Aniston is wrong to work her campaign like a pro, they?re just saying that if this year wasn?t so ?fallow? for Best Actress nominees, perhaps Aniston?s Cake would have been laughed out of the conversation long ago, because it?s not a very good movie. This line in particular is amazing: ?It?s astonishing just how transparently Cake?s awards push has epitomized the grotesque caricature that awards season truly is.? Word.
Meanwhile, Aniston spoke this week about her bravery in doing the most difficult scene ever in Cake. The difficult scene was? putting her head under water. Really.
We all know Jennifer Aniston has a banging bikini body, but don’t be surprised if you don’t see many pics of her frolicking in the ocean or in a pool.
“I basically have a real fear of going underwater,” she said last night at a special screening of Cake, her much buzzed about indie in which she stars as a woman who suffers from chronic pain and a prescription painkiller addiction after surviving a horrific accident. Her fear made filming some scenes in the movie quite scary because her character’s treatment includes water therapy.
“I was a kid and I was riding this tricycle around a swimming pool and I drove my tricycle into the swimming pool and I didn’t let go and my brother tried to [help me],” Aniston explained. “So, I can’t go underwater and no one will believe me. I honestly can’t.”
The Friends star cracked that one pool shot in Cake took about 30 takes to get right. Not only is Aniston up for a Golden Globe on Sunday for her work in the movie, but we wouldn’t be surprised if her name is among the best actress nominees when the Oscar nominations are announced on Jan. 15.
She went without makeup for the movie and put on some weight for the role. Fake fake scars cover her face and body. It’s the kind of part she’d been “dying to do for years.”
Aniston said, “It’s like a catch-22. It’s you know, ?Please let me play this part. I know I can do it.’ But then they won’t give you the part because they don’t know if you could do it. So, it’s hard,” she continued. “You have to just wait for that wonderful brave human being who sort of says, ?This is interesting to me and all of us to take [the] risk and be bold.’”

Much brave. So Oscar. Very Cake. I get that some people have had traumatic experiences in the water and those scars can last a long time, but does anyone else think this is weird specifically for Aniston? I mean, she loves the beach. She loves tanning by the pool. She only vacations in places where there?s water. And all this time, she?s terrified of putting her head under the water.
Last thing: Fame/Flynet released some photos of Jen and Justin Theroux in Cabo from Monday and LOOK. The JORTS made an appearance!! This honestly made my week.

This morning we’ll be bringing you more fashion from last night’s People’s Choice Awards on CBS. First up with have Kristen Bell in a bizarre fuchsia Monique Lhullier gown which is shaped, well, like a bell. Kristen gets a pass because she just had a baby before Christmas, but I hope she brings her fashion game in the future. I usually like Lhullier but this dress is just bizarre.
Kristen was there supporting her husband, Dax Shepard, who presented the award for Favorite Hip Hop artist, which went to performer Iggy Azalea. Dax’s show Parenthood returns tonight for its final four episodes. I love that show so much, I will probably watch it again from the beginning at some point.
Here is presenter and Once Upon a Time star Ginnifer Goodwin in a white empire waist v-neck Delphine Manivet gown. Ginnifer loves avant garde looks and I think she’s going for a balance here. I like that Ginnifer chose white for winter and that she went with a full coverage dress. There’s something off about the fit, though. Plus it has pockets, which she used on the red carpet and on stage. That bugs. Ginnifer also just had a baby last June.
Gina Rodriguez, the star of Jane the Virgin, co-presented the Favorite Movie Actor award with Ginnifer. That went to Robert Downey, Jr. She was in this tiered sleeveless gown with a sheer overlay featuring an abstract dot pattern. I don’t have a designer ID on this gown, but it’s decent and pretty. I really dislike the flouncy skirt, though. Gina’s show Jane The Virgin won for Favorite New TV Comedy. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve only heard good things about it.
Here’s Melissa McCarthy, who won for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress. She’s in a killer pantsuit of her own design with leather accent lines. She usually wears David Meester gowns and I like that she’s mixing it up. This suit looked striking and contemporary on camera.
Presenter Sarah Hyland was in a strapless baby blue Christian Siriano gown featuring a beaded bodice, quilted skirt and sheer beaded skirt panel. There’s way too much going on with this dress. It might have worked without the extra skirt extension. Plus she looked kind of orange.
Finally here’s Chloe Moretz in Louis Vuitton. This outfit looked much better on camera, probably because I wasn’t paying attention to the details. It seems like the top should be see through but there’s some kind of flesh-colored underlay that’s keeping us from seeing her undergarments. Plus it has like rough stitching along the sleeves. I don’t get it. Chloe won Favorite Dramatic TV Actress, for her role in If I Stay. She was very poised in her acceptance speech and dedicated it to her grandmother who passed away last year.

In Touch Weekly says that LeAnn is seeing a fertility specialist now because she definitely wants to have a baby in 2015.
Looks like LeAnn Rimes’ wish to having a baby with her husband of three years, Eddie Cibrian, may come true. ?In Touch? has exclusively learned that LeAnn recently began seeing fertility doctor Dr. Ingrid A. Rodi in Santa Monica for IVF treatments.
?She hasn?t been able to conceive a baby on her own after trying for over a year,? an insider close to the ?LeAnn & Eddie? star tells ?In Touch,? explaining that Leann started seeing the fertility doctor after discovering her chances of conceiving a baby naturally are slim due to hormone levels and low egg production.
?She feels like this is her only shot of having a child of her own. She really wants a baby.?
In November, she gushed that she ?would love to have a kid? with Eddie. And, she added, ?I hope it has his dimples!?

Some days I?m actually surprised that LeAnn didn?t try to lock Eddie down with a baby right after they got married. But maybe she did try and she genuinely has fertility issues. For the better part of 2014, there were rumors that Kristen Stewart and her BFF Alicia Cargile had made the transition from friendship to something more. I tended to believe the rumors, just because Alicia and K-Stew just seemed to be spending SO MUCH time together, and there was just a vibe of comfort and familiarity in their body language. I couldn?t even make it past an hour of the awkwardness of the People?s Choice Awards. And I?m saying that as someone who loves Allison Janney, but Janney should not be tapped to co-host award shows. The whole thing was just stilted and uncomfortably unfunny. You can see the list of winners here. Let?s get to the fashion. We?ll start with Kaley Cuoco in this Peggy Hartanto jumpsuit. It looks like a repurposed swimsuit with bad pants. Not Kaley?s best look, especially with the hair fail. When she presented with Josh Gad and Kevin Hart, Kaley even made a ?joke? about this being part of ?apology tour? for what she said about feminism. Because hahaha Kaley is a privileged white woman with no awareness of the struggles of women around her, isn?t that funny?
Ellen Pompeo won Favorite Dramatic TV Actress for Grey?s Anatomy. She wore this Elie Saab suit which was quite honestly one of my favorite looks of the evening. That?s how low the bar was set. It is a good suit, but Ellen is looking kind of orange.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi came out. I guess they?ve worked out their problems? Sure. Portia wore this awful Zuhair Murad. It looks dated and cheap.
Matt Bomer is everything. His skin is like butter. He?s more beautiful than most women. He won for Favorite Cable TV Actor.
Viola Davis looked amazing in a bright Escada gown. She won the People?s Choice for Favorite Actress in a New TV Show. In her acceptance speech (you can see it here), she referenced that awful New York Times story that called her ?less classically beautiful.? Viola wins at life.

I always forget that the People?s Choice Awards are a CBS property, and that CBS uses the People?s Choice Awards to heavily promote their line-up. Usually, Kaley Cuoco hosts the People?s Choice because she?s on CBS?s golden-goose, Big Bang Theory. But this year, CBS got the stars of their new hit (?) show Mom, Allison Janney and Anna Faris to cohost the show. The result was awkward and awful. Ugh.
As for their fashion, they changed clothes a few times, but I only have IDs on the red carpet looks. Anna?s white dress is Rani Zakhem. Allison Janney?s silver dress is Rani Zakhem. A lot of people LOVED Allison?s Rani Zakhem. She really did pull it off well.
Other CBS properties? Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs from 2 Broke Girls. They presented together and posed together on the red carpet. That?s something nice: they seem to genuinely get along and love each other. Kat?s black gown was by Ludmila Corlateanu. Beth wore Juan Carlos Obando. Beth?s dress is fine. Boring, but fine. I think Kat?s whole look is kind of too dark.
Stana Katic won for Castle, obviously. I?ll admit it: Castle reruns are one of my guiltiest pleasures. That show is so easy to watch. Anyway, Stana wore a Carolina Herrera ball gown. Very pretty, although she seemed slightly overdressed for the People?s Choice Awards.

The Trinidad-born beauty supported the USA by rocking an American flag tank that barely covered her lady party while striking a few poses for Rolling Stone magazine.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Minaj opened up to the mag about having an abortion when she was younger and why she decided to open up about the experience in her new tune, "All Things Go."
"[When I learned of my pregnancy] I thought I was going to die. I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through. [Having an abortion has] haunted me all my life... It'd be contradictory if I said I wasn't pro-choice. I wasn't ready. I didn't have anything to offer a child."
