| Katy Perry shows off new hair at the iHeartRadio Awards: cute or exhausting? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In my youth, I kissed a lot of boys with this haircut. It?s the ?skater boy haircut? from the 1990s. And I still don?t know how I feel about this haircut making a comeback right now, for women. I think I might hate it? These are photos of Katy Perry at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night. This was Katy?s first big appearance since the announcement that she and Orlando Bloom had broken up. Kate has spent the past few weeks (seemingly post-split) making some radical changes to her hair, from black to blonde, and then from blonde to brown, then from longer hair to a choppy lob, then from a choppy lob to what we see now, Skater Boy ?90s Hair. Miley Cyrus did this too. Kate Gosselin did it back in the day. Scarlett Johansson has had similar hair for a while as well. So what does Katy say about her new haircut?
?Well yeah, if you?re going this extreme it should, hello! I?m trying to get more attention, obviously. You can just grow it back. Honestly, I tried to take my full head of hair platinum and I had a lot of breakage. I?ve always wanted to look like Miley Cyrus. I?ve always wanted to have that pixie haircut, so I said, ?Let?s just go for it.’ I feel like there?s a new wave, a new authentic vibe coming in and I think this matches. I want to redefine what it means to be feminine. Look at Scarlett Johansson, who?s one of the most beautiful women in the world. We have the same haircut and I saw her at an Oscars party and was like, ?I?m doing it.? You?re hot, you can be hot and look great with this kind of hair. Why not??
[From People]
Well, at least she?s not pretending that she invented the haircut or whatever, although I think the ?redefining feminine? comment is pretty eye-rolly. I spent much of 2016 defending Katy, but between her comments about Britney Spears and how she?s behaving post-breakup, I kind of think Katy needs to chill a bit. Women have been ?redefining feminine? with short hair for decades, from Audrey Hepburn to Twiggy to Princess Diana. Chill, Katy. Also: her pantsuit (YES THESE ARE PANTS!) is by August Getty.
What else happened at the iHeartRadio Awards? Bruno Mars performed. So did Shawn Mendes, who annoys me. And Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop This Feeling!” won an award and JT tried to make it about LGBTQ kids and kids who feel different.
“I wrote this song because I wanted it to be about inclusion, about being together. And so I guess I want to take this opportunity and speak to young people right now ’cause there’s a lot of you looking at me, if you are black or you are brown or you are gay or you’re a lesbian or you are trans, or maybe you’re just a sissy singing boy from Tennessee, anyone that is treating you unkindly, it’s only because they are afraid or have been taught to be afraid of how important you are…Because being different means you make the difference,” added Timberlake, who ended his speech with an expletive that was bleeped.
[From Time]
Much like Katy, I feel like JT is sort of riding on a decade?s worth of activism. I mean, it?s a good message and I?m sure there are a lot of kids out there who appreciate hearing that from Justin Timberlake. But does it feel like a bandwagon-jumping pander? Sort of.

| Jennifer Lopez: There's a reason I?m no longer with Marc Anthony | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Lopez might be on the market after her relationship with Drake recently hit the skids , but one guy who isn’t a romantic prospect for is her ex-husband and father of her twins, Marc Anthony. On the promotional trail for the new season of her NBC cop drama Shades of Blue, Jennifer subjected herself to a little cross-examination by the ladies of The View, who brought up the kiss she shared with Marc at the Latin Grammys in November. (You may recall that Marc Anthony?s first wife, Dayanara Torres, told People Mag about that kiss ?Such a shame that a moment of so much stature lost quality with everything that came after.” As for whether or not the kiss was the prelude to a more serious romantic relationship, Jennifer replied:
Marc and I are good how we are right now. There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together. That has been even better for us. We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical. When we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.
[From The View]
Could she be a little more vague? The reason she could be referring to is the fact that Marc wants to devote his time and effort to his career and his kids. I think Jennifer is very career and family-focused too. It’s great that they have such a good working relationship, and they seem to have two very happy kids. Could long hours working together in the recording studio change anything between Marc and Jennifer? We will just have to wait and see I guess.

| Lisa Kudrow was told she wasn't 'f?able' by Friends guest star | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay on Friends, has worked probably the most constantly out of all the actors since the show. She is currently starring in and promoting Table 19 with Craig Robinson, Anna Kendrick, Stephen Merchant and June Squibb. Table 19 is about the Also-Rans’ table at every wedding and it looks to be sort of a ?Reclaim the Reception? type film. You can see the trailer here. I like the cast enough that I will likely see it at some point. Of course, Lisa is never going to be allowed to avoid questions on Friends when promoting anything else. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy asked which Friends guest star behaved the poorest. Lisa answered, but in a maddeningly vague blind riddle way. She said that only after she showed up in hair and makeup did this guest see her as someone they could f**k.
Lisa Kudrowhas dished on some hot ?Friends? gossip while making the rounds promoting her new film, ?Table 19.?
On last night?s episode of ?Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,? a fan called in to ask the actress about the worst behavior she?d experienced from a guest star on the hit sitcom.
?The worst behavior just off the top of my head?? Kudrow replied. ?I rehearsed without makeup most of the week and then on show night I?m in hair and makeup and I was told, ?Oh, wow, now you?re? ? can I say it? ? ?now you?re f**kable.??
?That?s bad behavior, I say,? she told host Cohen and fellow guest Jennifer Beals. When Beals asked if Kudrow retaliated, the actress said she told Matt Leblanc about the comment because ?he?s like a big brother.?
Unfortunately, the Phoebe Buffay actress didn?t name any names, leaving us to ponder the possible suspects. She did, however, later reveal that it was not Charlie Sheen, so you can cross him off the list.
[From Huffington Post]
I hope Lisa issued a Churchillian response along the lines of, ?And yet, you still aren?t.? Lord, we could be here all day trying to figure out who this is. First I have to eliminate all the ‘It can?t be him because I heart him so very much‘ guest stars like Paul Rudd, Jeff Goldblum, Jon Favreau and Greg Kinnear. Removing Charlie Sheen sucks because that was such an easy answer. My first thought was Alec Baldwin. But a lot of tools appeared on Friends so it?s hard to say ? Jon Lovitz, Bruce Willis, Sean Penn, Jean-Claude Van Damme, to name a few. And, if you look at her very careful wording, she never said it was a man. Maybe Susan Sarandon was an **shole while on set.
Something Lisa was a little more definitive on was the possibility of a Friends reunion, for which she suggests we don?t hold our breath. While assuring everyone that the Friends are still very much friends in real life, she just doesn?t think Friends will go the way of Gilmore Girls and Will and Grace. Lisa?s point was, “The thing we liked best about the show was that they were 20-somethings and they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?” I was, am and suspect will always be a massive Friends fan but I think Lisa is right on here. I can’t see any Friends-in-present-day story getting it right. I?ll just stay happy with them popping up on each other?s shows from time to time.
