| Netflix sent a legal notice to Jameson Stocks after he trashed 'With Love, Meghan' | Added 82 minutes ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Within hours of the March release of With Love, Meghan, the British press was in a weeks-long howling meltdown, screaming and crying about every little thing about the Duchess of Sussex?s sweet little cooking/entertaining show. They trashed every single part of the show and they?re still trying to say that the show was unpopular/terrible. Well, just days after WLM was released, a British chef named Jameson Stocks ran to GB News and lied his ass off. He claimed that he was approached by Netflix to ?consult? on an unnamed show, but he rejected the offer because he sensed that it was Meghan?s show. He spent the rest of the GB News interview mocking and disparaging everything about Meghan and WLM. Soon after, unnamed ?Archewell sources? told various outlets that Stocks was lying about the consultation offer. I thought it was a mistake for Archewell and Netflix to not go on the record at the time. As it turns out, Netflix sent Stocks what amounts to a ?shut your lying pie hole? cease-and-desist. That?s what Stocks revealed to the Daily Mail?s Richard Eden:
? Now Jameson Stocks ? anointed by White as Britains next culinary star ? is learning that life is full of other hazards, among them letters threatening legal action. Such, he tells me, has been his reward for denouncing Meghan Markles Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, as forced and fake and painful to watch.
I got a lawyers letter from Netflix after I spoke out against her, warning me, says Stocks, whose life story so gripped Brad Pitt that he snapped up the rights to turn it into a movie. Stocks had advised Meghan to steer clear of the kitchen and go back to acting, describing her as quite a good actress, and insisting that people should stick to what they do best.
I proper p**sed them off. Netflix did not like it and came after me, adds Stocks, characterising the legal letter as a load of nonsense. If intended to silence him, the missive has abjectly failed. I am not taking any notice, Stocks assures me.
How can she get all this money from Netflix? I dont think she can cook and I dont think she should be teaching people to cook either. What would I cook for her? I would cook something she has done on her TV programme but cook it properly.
That, alas, seems unlikely, especially now that Stocks has given me his assessment of Meghans lifestyle brand, As Ever. He says: Her jam sold out in minutes. I think they probably only had about ten of each product. Stocks, who acknowledges that he doesnt make his own, adds: I know Lidl do jam for about 15 cheaper.
A Netflix spokesman declined requests for comment.
Stocks previously claimed to have rejected an offer to work on With Love, Meghan because he feared being slammed for being a part of a forced and fake show. The chef believes that he made the right choice, blasting the show as terrible and painful to watch although sources said Stocks was in fact not invited to participate.
But since attacking the show in a GB News interview, Stocks said he started getting death threats and all sorts of nasty messages. Stocks said he had received hundreds and hundreds of hateful messages, adding: Im just a single dad, and then all of a sudden, Im getting death threats on me.
He also insisted that he has nothing against Meghan Markle, explaining: I never personally attacked Meghan. I never once did that. I never would do that. I have absolutely zero interest in anything to try and bring her down. My only thing was I didnt like the show and that was it. It wouldnt matter if it was Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck or Donald Duck. I just didnt like the programme.
[From The Daily Mail]
Notice he doesn?t repeat his earlier claim that he was approached by Netflix to consult on the show. That, more than anything else, was why he was sent a cease-and-desist or some kind of legal notice because he was making false claims about a Netflix property. He was lying about being approached by Netflix and the WLM production. He wasn?t just innocently saying ?WLM isn?t for me.? He was misrepresenting and hate-mongering to get attention. While I?m glad that Netflix sent him a legal notice, I still say that they should have done more to push back on his obvious lies at the time. Stocks? dumb and defamatory statements made global news back in March.

Today is Princess Charlotte?s tenth birthday. It?s also David Beckham?s birthday I honestly didn?t know/forgot that they shared a birthday. To celebrate Charlotte?s b-day, Kensington Palace released a photo taken by the Princess of Wales. Prince Louis?s recent b-day portrait was taken by a professional photographer, but Charlotte?s were not! According to reports, Kate took this photo of Charlotte on her iPhone ?during a visit to Cumbria in the northwest of England in early 2025.?
I know the ?who does she look like? debate will happen regardless of what I write, but honestly, this is the first time I?ve really seen Prince William in his daughter. I?ve never really thought that she looked much like either of her parents, but you can really see William in her in this portrait. Once I really looked at photos of Lady Sarah Chatto (Princess Margaret?s daughter), I see the resemblance there too (which has been noted many times by royalists).
Anyway, I hope Charlotte has a nice birthday and I really hope they don?t make this kids into the ?monarchy?s secret weapon? any time soon. Just let her be a kid, for goodness sake.

| Geena Davis was bullied for being tall as a kid and called 'Kareem Abdul Jabbar' | Added 2 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Geena Davis wrote a children?s book! It?s called The Girl Who Was Too Big for the Page, and it was just released this past Tuesday. Much like Julianne Moore?s children?s book, ?Freckleface Strawberry, its about accepting yourself for who you are. As a child, Geena was much taller than her classmates, so her book is based on her own real-life experience. The story is about a little girl named Sheila who lives inside of a book. As she gets older, she grows so quickly that she doesn?t fit on the page anymore. Geena, who is six feet tall, not only wrote it, she also illustrated it, too.
To promote the book, Geena popped up on The View on Wednesday. She talked about her own experiences while growing up and hating that her height made her stand out so much. While she?s comfortable and owns her stature now, she was self conscious about it when she was younger. Her classmates teasing her about it didn?t help either. The boys in her class even gave her a special nickname: ?Kareem Abdul Jabbar.?
Geena Davis has learned to embrace her height over the years, but shes admitted it wasnt always easy being the tallest kid in school. During an appearance on the Wednesday, April 30 episode of The View, the Thelma and Louise actress, 69, spoke about her debut childrens book, The Girl Who Was Too Big for the Page, which stems from real experiences she had as a child, and the self-confidence she later learned.
Davis shared, I was tall from minute one ? I was very self-conscious and shy, and the last thing I wanted to do was stand out, and yet, every minute, I stood out.
So, it was really tough growing up. The boys nickname for me in high school was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, which, you know, is so charming, she added of kids comparing her to the former Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks basketball player who is 7-foot-2.
Davis book focuses on Sheila, a young girl who lives inside a book she knows people are reading. But as she grows older, she realizes that she?s growing so quickly that she no longer fits on the page, and the Beetlejuice star said that she could relate.
This has always been a part of my life, but once I stopped growing, I became very comfortable with it and happy, and got cast in Tootsie, because it was funny to look at me and Dustin Hoffman together, she said referencing the 1982 flick, in which she made her feature film debut as April Page alongside Hoffmans Michael Dorsey.
Davis ? who also illustrated the book, which is from Philomel Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers ? also stopped by CBS Mornings on Wednesday for a chat about the release.
She noted that she finally accepted her height as an adult. [Then] I realized that its okay to take up this much space. And so thats kind of the message of the book.
Davis shared the books release with PEOPLE exclusively in December, saying, ?I?ve always been tall ? I was a tall baby. As a kid, my fondest wish was to take up less space in the world. It was only as an adult I realized I could be all of who I was, unapologetically.?
?So I wrote this book for all of the ?too big? children ? including children with big personalities and big dreams ? who need reassurance that they can be their true selves and make their own space in the world.
?It was a joy to write, and so wonderful to be able to illustrate my own words to bring my characters to life. I can?t wait to have it out in the world,? Davis concluded.
The Girl Who Was Too Big for the Page is now available wherever books are sold.
[From People]
Kids are so mean! I?m sorry that Geena went through that. I wonder if those kids ever thought about what they called her while they were watching her on screen. I think the one thing I learned as I got older was that the way someone treats you is more memorable to you than it is to them, and likewise. That goes for good and bad behavior. I?m glad Geena got to a place where she was confident in her body. Anyway, she previewed a few pages of the book for the audience and it looks really cute! My drawing skills have still not evolved past flowers and 3D shapes, so I am particularly impressed that Geena did all of the illustrations herself. That?s really cool.
The rest of the interview was fun, too. She revealed that the advice Dustin Hoffman gave her while they were filming her first ever film, Tootsie, was ?Don?t ever sleep with your costars, it ruins the sexual tension.? Oh my goodness. Also, they mentioned her 2006 series, Commander In Chief, where she played a president on TV, and asked her for her thoughts on how America still hasn?t had a female president. Geena responded with a joke, ?I?m not even old enough to be a president yet.? That made me laugh out loud. Speaking of, how is she 69 years old? She looks absolutely incredible. My new goal is to look that good and write a children?s book before I?m 70.

| Prince William & Kate made a 'generous donation' to a Southport playground | Added 13 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In July 2024, a young man with a knife attacked adults and children at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England. Three children were killed and ten were injured. It devastated the community and the country. Taylor Swift met with some of the families and she gave them VIP tickets to her British concerts last year. King Charles visited Southport soon after the stabbings. Prince William and Kate eventually visited Southport, months later. Well, as it turns out, Will and Kate also donated to a new local playground being built in Southport.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have quietly made a donation to a primary school in Southport to help them fund a new playground in memory of the children killed in a knife attack last July. Prince William and Kate made the emotional pilgrimage to Liverpool last October to meet with the families of the three girls who lost their lives in the attack in the princesss first public engagement since completing chemotherapy for cancer.
Alice Aguiar, nine, and Bebe King, six, were killed along with seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe in an attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class. Teenage killer Axel Rudakubana was jailed for life for their deaths alongside the attempted murder of eight other children and was handed a minimum term of 52 years in January.
Alices parents have since been raising money to build a new playground at Churchtown Primary School, attended by Alice and Bebe. The new space is set to be honour the girls memories and provide an expanded space for children to play in.
The donation from the royals was revealed over the weekend by Jinnie Payne, headteacher of Churchtown Primary School. She wrote in a message shared on social media: On behalf of Churchtown Primary School, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to their Royal Highnesses, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for their incredibly generous donation to our Churchtown Playground fund. Their kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to our whole community as we come together to honour the memories of Alice and Bebe, two much-loved members of our school family. As Alice?s dad Sergio, and I prepare to run the London Marathon today in their memory, we are deeply touched and encouraged by William?s and Kate?s support.
[From The Daily Mail]
At first, I thought this was going to be a repeat of the Sarah Everard situation, where Kate and her staff were exploiting a murdered woman for their own PR. But it?s not that it seems the donation to the playground was genuine and the palace didn?t even brief the Mail about it, it was all Jinnie Payne talking about it. I?m not nitpicking, but I do wonder if the donation came from the Royal Foundation or the Waleses privately. I also wonder what ?generous? means in British terms and royal terms. I?m just saying, I?m often astonished by how little money Will and Kate?s foundation actually ?gives away.?

| Eva Amurri got her 32Fs reduced & she's been documenting the process on her IG | Added 13 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

One of the most bizarre things, to me, is that Eva Amurri ended up moving away from an acting career to turn into a full-time influencer. She?s been an influencer and high-strung mommy blogger for a decade or longer. She must do well in the influencer business, because it?s really the only thing she does at this point. Anyway, I never really thought that Eva looked much like her mother (Susan Sarandon), but Eva did inherit two things from her mom: the incredible bust. Seriously, Eva had three kids and her girls were still large, round and perky. But they were also very big, and she decided to get a breast reduction. Now that I?m looking through her IG, I see that this whole process was extremely well-documented, but it was news to me and news to People Mag.
Eva Amurri has been documenting her recovery from breast reduction surgery, sharing that sleeping ? and coming to terms with giving her body time to rest ? has been the hardest part of recovery.
The actress 40, explained that she?d made the decision to have her 32F breasts reduced in a post on her lifestyle site, Happily Eva After, titled Bye, Bye, Boobies. As she wrote, larger breasts ?can make you extremely self-conscious and insecure. They hurt your back, they?re hard to clothe, and most importantly: you can?t take them off and take a break. That?s been the hardest part.?
Amurri, the only child of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, continued, ?Having huge boobs has been a blast at times! When I want to feel extra sultry or sexy, they?ve been super fun! In the bedroom? FANTASTIC. When I want attention? Perfection. But what about those days that I didn?t? What about when I would have done anything to not have to carry 10 extra pounds on the front of my body or have breasts I couldn?t put away or ignore??
Amurri, who shares daughter Marlowe, 10, son Major, 8, and son Mateo, 5, with her ex-husband, soccer player Kyle Martino, said that pregnancy and nursing caused her breasts to get bigger and smaller. ?The yo-yo-ing size contributed to drooping and sagging.?
She finally explained that she was having the reduction ? celebrating with a ?Bye, Bye, Boobies? cake ? and shared her reluctance was due to her fears around anesthesia. She shared a loopy post-surgery video, filmed while her husband, chef Ian Hock was driving her home, where she said she was obsessed with everyone, admitted that she had a mental breakdown before the procedure ? and then broke into tears when she realized her surgeon, Dr. Umbareen Mahmood, gave her chocolate.
Recovery has been tough, Amurri revealed, explaining she?s ?so uncomfortable? and cant sleep. ?The truth is that until I can sleep on my side ? I just feel like I?m in the newborn phase of motherhood where I?m up pretty much constantly,?
[From People]
As a fellow big-rig hauler, I have to admit, I?ve fantasized about getting the reduction surgery too. Like, I genuinely think my life (and my back/shoulders) would be much better with perky C-cups. Alas, I?m also scared of the anesthesia, plus I just don?t want anyone cutting into me for any reason, you know? I?ve heard horror stories of how long it takes to recover from the reduction surgery too. Eva?s been documenting that on her social media too, that she can?t sleep properly and she?s in too much pain to lift her arms. Hm.

| King Charles: Cancer can 'bring into sharp focus the very best of humanity' | Added 13 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
On the last day of April, King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for cancer survivors, cancer activists and people connected with cancer charities. He even invited Sarah Ferguson, who survived breast cancer and skin cancer. Charles and Camilla were also joined by the Gloucesters, randomly enough. The slimmed-down monarchy is very, very slim these days. Ahead of the palace reception, Charles issued a statement about cancer and how his cancer diagnosis changed him. He is still not ?cancer free? and he is still receiving weekly treatments, but he has not said what kind of cancer he has. Here is his statement:
My wife and I are delighted to host you here this evening to celebrate, and above all thank those who so selflessly give care, comfort and reassurance to the 390,000 people who, sadly, receive a new cancer diagnosis across the UK each year. That is over 1,000 new cases every single day. Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones. But as one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience that brings into sharp focus the very best of humanity.
It has certainly given me an even deeper appreciation of the extraordinary work undertaken by the remarkable organisations and individuals gathered here this evening, many of whom I have known, visited and supported over the years. And it has reinforced what I have long observed during these visits ? that the darkest moments of illness can be illuminated by the greatest compassion.
As patrons of many such organisations, The Queen and I have seen first-hand how you not only fund vital research and deliver exceptional healthcare but also create spaces where patients and their families find sanctuary, understanding and practical assistance when they need it most.
What strikes us repeatedly is the profound impact of human connection ? whether in the careful explanation from a specialist nurse, the hand held by a hospice volunteer, or the shared experience in a support group. These moments of kinship create what I might call a ?community of care?, one that sustains patients through the most difficult of times.
So to all the researchers pursuing pioneering breakthroughs, to the healthcare professionals providing specialist treatment, to the volunteers offering comfort, or campaigning to raise awareness and to the fundraisers enabling all this vital work ? you have my whole family?s deepest admiration and gratitude. Your commitment to early diagnosis, evermore successful therapies and truly holistic care represents the very best our country can offer.
This collective endeavour reminds us of what we can achieve when we are united with common purpose and determination. While every patient?s journey may be different, together you are ensuring that a cancer diagnosis need never mean facing the future without hope and support. And to those who may be receiving such upsetting news today, tomorrow or at any point in the future, I can only echo the departing words of the late Dame Deborah James, whose parents I am delighted to have with us here this evening, and whose example stands as an inspiration to us all, in sickness and in health.
?Find a life worth enjoying, take risks, love deeply, have no regrets and always, always have rebellious hope.? I am so very grateful for all that you do.
[From The Telegraph]
On one side, I genuinely think Charles has handled his ?royal duties? with grace and humanity during his cancer battle, and I appreciate the fact that he?s going into cancer wards and meeting with people who are doing work on the ground. I?m sure everyone at the reception appreciated his words and his role in the community of cancer patients, cancer survivors and cancer caregivers. On the other side, I find it interesting that Charles still has not made any larger reflections on the state of his family, his relationships with his sons and his grandchildren. If anything, it feels like his cancer battle has made his estrangement from the Sussexes even more profound, and William simply behaves as if Charles already had one foot in the pyre. It?s strange that Charles can?t show this kind of grace and humanity on a personal level, you know?
