On Monday, I wrote about some weekend photos of Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth in the Canary Islands. Chris is there to film his sad boat movie, The Heart of the Sea, and Elsa is there just because. It had been a while since we?d seen Elsa ? she was nowhere to be seen during The Largely Absent Hemsworth?s promotional tour for Thor 2: The Largely Present Hiddleston. Usually, Elsa can?t get enough of red carpets. Usually, she would ?help out? her husband by getting pap?d with baby India out in Venice Beach. But not so much for Thor 2.
Which led me to theorize months ago that Elsa was/is pregnant. She looked pregnant-ish back in September, at the Toronto Film Festival, and a quiet pregnancy would have gone a long way to explaining why Elsa and Chris were acting so weird this fall. (Sidenote: I had another theory involving Chris maybe fooling around, but that?s a theory for another time.) Anyway, long story short, I didn?t really think Elsa looked pregnant in the photos from the weekend. Everyone yelled at me and said that OF COURSE she looked pregnant. So do I have to eat it?
Well, Hola! (Hello! Mag in Spain) says that Elsa is pregnant. I don?t think they have a confirmation from anyone in the family, it just seems like they did what I did ? looked at the photos and made an assumption, only they came to a different conclusion. Hello UK has a story too, and they make it sound like Hola doesn?t have a hard confirmation either. So? is she pregnant? Eh. I?m including more photos from the weekend, and there are some shots where she does look bumpier. So maybe.

He?s dominating the box office thanks to his successful sequel ?Thor: The Dark World,? and now Chris Hemsworth's life is about to get even more rewarding.
According to Us Weekly, ?The Avengers? hottie is expecting his second child with wife Elsa Pataky.
The 30-year-old and Elsa wed in March 2010 and welcomed their first daughter India Rose 18 months ago.
Elsa opened up about her first baby girls during promotions for ?Fast & Furious 6? in June and said, ?You become more sensitive about a lot of things. With things like this, the ocean, you want to protect it for your kid to be able to see the world the way I saw it. That's important for them to not lose it. There are so many animals endangered now in the ocean; it'll be sad she won't enjoy all those things."

Thoroughly enjoying motherhood, Fergie Duhamel showed up at ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? to gush over her baby boy Axl Jack.
The ?My Humps? hottie explained how she and husband Josh Duhamel decided on their progeny?s unusual moniker.
Fergie began, "I had this dream and I was in the audience at this festival. It was outdoors and it was all grimy and nobody knew who I was. I was just one of the fans. It was like the old days. It was so cool. And on stage singing was Jim Morrison and then came BobMarley and then Axl Rose. I mean, I was in heaven in this dream!"
"I'm dancing and just getting into the music and then all of a sudden, boom, boom. And I wake up and it was the first time my son kicked me in the stomach. It was like he was feeling the music with me. It was amazing. I'm gonna start to cry! It was really beautiful, and I woke Josh up and I said 'Honey, honey, honey?he kicked me! He finally kicked me!'"
Duhamel chose Axl over Marley or Morrison because"it was very strong. It's an old Scandinavian name."
During the birthing process, "It was very special. I see Josh's face. They're pulling Axl out. I can't feel anything. I'm all numb?I'm going, 'Wow, I'm so happy. This moment, it's so special, so tender.' And I hear screaming. And over the side comes Axl, and he's screaming at me crying, and I went, 'Okay, the name works!'"

Throughout this week, I?ve been slightly aware of the UK tabloid reports that Taylor Swift has been checking out some real estate in London. The tabloids claimed that she was looking for a place close to Harry Styles? place, because I guess Harry and Tay-Tay are not ?done? yet? But I do think they?re done. Taylor might not believe it, but I think Harry has been over it since January of this year. He?s moved on. And so that left Taylor, in my mind, as a real estate stalker who was still obsessed with her ex. Except that maybe I should give her more credit. According to People Mag, Tay-Tay has found her Romeo (LITERALLY) with yet another young-looking British boy, 21-year-old Douglas Booth. Booth recently played Romeo in the latest film version of Romeo and Juliet:
Does Taylor Swift have a new British beau? Ten months after splitting from One Direction’s Harry Styles, the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer has been spotted with another U.K. heartthrob ? Romeo and Juliet’s Douglas Booth.
“They hired the back room and were in there alone,” a source tells PEOPLE of the duo’s cozy night at The Holly Bush in London on Friday. “They looked very happy [and] were just smiling and laughing just like any other customers.”
The duo possibly met through Swift’s close friend Hailee Steinfeld, who starred opposite Booth, 21, in the latest installment of Shakespeare’s classic love story about star-crossed lovers.
Swift, 23, showed up at the Los Angeles premiere’s after party in September, where she was seen getting flirty with Booth. The pair hung out with a group of friends (including Steinfeld), chatting and taking a series of fun photos in the photo booth.
No word yet on if the two are officially dating or are simply friends (reps for Swift and Booth did not respond to a request for comment), but sounds like a bit of quality time could go a long way with Booth.
“I’ve met some of the most beautiful women in the world, but they’re not the most attractive women that I’ve met,” he told PEOPLE in September. “Beauty comes from inside ? I think it takes a little bit of getting to know someone to fall in love.”

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes and Edie Cibrian last night in LA. They attended a gala benefit for Cedars-Sinai?s Women?s Guild. The event was hosted by Will Arnett and LeAnn performed. I have to say, I don?t hate how she looks here. Her styling is really good, especially considering how she usually styles herself. My one little quibble is that the dress isn?t very flattering in the mid-section and you can tell that LeAnn is worried about what she?s showing off in certain angles. The dress looks like a clingy silk jersey, which can be unforgiving if you have any ?bulges? anywhere. Still, overall this is a good look for her. Better than leather bootie shorts and tight ponytails.
I don?t really follow the more tabloidy, blind-item-driven gossip about LeAnn, but I do occasionally check in with Celebrity Dirty Laundry to see what they?re writing about LeAnn. LeAnn has called them out before during some late-night tweeting-and-deleting and CDL has an interesting new story about LeAnn. Apparently, LeAnn and Eddie recently flew to Taiwan for just one concert performance (in an arena which had a capacity of 15,000, only 4,000 people came). Upon their return, Eddie allegedly packed his bags and he?s staying somewhere else now? Who knows. But! Just Say Jenn did unearth this absolutely awful video of LeAnn attempting to cover Michael Jackson?s ?Billie Jean? in Taiwan:

We recently heard the shocking news that actress Brittany Murphy had abnormally high levels of ten heavy metals in her system at the time of her death in 2009. This was determined in private lab tests ordered by her father, on hair samples he obtained. The lab stated that “If we were to eliminate the possibility of a simultaneous accidental heavy metals exposure to the sample donor then the only logical explanation would be an exposure to these metals (toxins) administered by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent.”
A lot of people were pointing fingers at Brittany’s mom, who lived with both Brittany and her husband, Simon Monjack, slept with Simon after Brittany’s death (by her own admission) and was fighting with Simon over Brittany’s estate. Now another bizarre theory has come to light. Brittany was due to testify in a whistleblower case her friend, a former employee of the Department of Homeland Security, filed against the government. Brittany’s friend, who is also an actress and producer, has given interviews in which she implies, but does not state directly, that the government was complicit in Brittany’s death. Here’s more:
?We?ve submitted formal demands to reopen the case of Brittany Murphy?s death,? Julia Davis told HollywoodLife.com exclusively on Nov. 18. Julia and Brittany?s father, Angelo Bertolotti worked together to get new blood, hair and tissue sample tests done after being suspicious of her death. The results showed heavy metals in her system, raising a surprising claim that she had been poisoned.
?We believe that she was poisoned by somebody,? Julia told us. ?We?re not pointing figures at who but we would like investigators to look into. We?ve submitted formal demands to reopen the case. Hopefully the LAPD will ? they had previously closed it within one hour, so clearly didn?t investigate enough. Hopefully now, they?ll do that promptly.?
Julia, an an investigative reporter/National Security expert, was an employee for Homeland Security when she met Brittany.
?After blowing a whistle on Homeland Security, they targeted me on a number, 54 actually, investigations,? she explained. ?In one of them they used Brittany?s name in claims that she had told them I was working on a movie when I was supposed to be at work. It was bogus, so Brittany came to my defense and we got her attorneys into it as well. From that point on, she was targeted by Homeland Security as was her husband, Simon [Monjack]. They were both placed under constant surveillance.?
Brittany and Simon were both aware of the surveillance, Julia said, and actually admitted in one of their last interviews. ?Of course, the press thought they were crazy and on drugs.?
So, after both she and her husband died five months apart from ?natural causes?, both Julia and Angelo realized that the situation didn?t add up However, because she was a young star, the allegations about her death blew up.
?She had no illicit drugs in her system whatsoever, and for prescription drugs ? the medications she was taking didn?t contribute to her death,? she explained. ?Even the coroner stated that her weight was perfect for her height, so there goes the anorexia claims. Other claims said there were mold in the house. That was completely investigated and it wasn?t true.?
So Julia and Angelo are just trying to clear the air and remember Brittany as the young woman she was. That is why they conducted the new tests, which did show a large amount of heavy metals in her system ? which could be the result of rat poisoning. They will do whatever they can to reopen the case and find out the truth.
?We would like to set the record straight because there has been so many false reports,? Julia added. ?Brittany wasn?t a junkie, she wasn?t a party girl. She was a sweet, innocent young woman. Her dad and myself want to set the record truth. She didn?t deserve to die at such a young age.?

This is some complicated conspiracy theory stuff. Of course it’s possible that there were nefarious agents at work, but why would a government agency kill both Brittany and then her husband? Julia Davis, the whistleblower, is still alive and she prevailed in her case against the Department of Homeland Security. (You can read more about her case here, she went to the FBI to report a way that terrorists could enter the country when her own superiors didn’t act.) It doesn’t make sense to kill the celebrity, and her husband, who had no real platform after his wife’s death. Plus wouldn’t the government have more sophisticated means to kill people than rat poison? (Not that they do that, but you know what I mean!) You can easily detect that. Maybe I’ve seen too much CSI but there are better ways to kill people that are harder to autopsy.
Both Brittany and her husband died of the same official cause, and since Brittany had abnormally high levels of heavy metals in her system, it’s probable that Simon did too. (We don’t have confirmation for that.) Heavy metal poisoning can cause people to go insane, remember the Mad Hatter? Both of these people were probably being slowly poisoned and were likely suffering from paranoid delusions. So it’s hard to tell whether the surveillance they suspected was real or imagined. (We know the government loves their surveillance though, and they’re said to have used it for this specific case.) Whether these two were being monitored or not, I doubt the government poisoned them, that sounds far fetched and unlikely. My thoughts lean toward someone who had the most to benefit from their deaths, and who had access to them daily.
I wonder, though, if these two could have succumbed to environmental toxins in their home, like if their water was somehow tainted or the home was made with materials that leeched out and poisoned them. Maybe they bought dishes overseas or were drinking rare tea or something. (They always look for things that on House) Radar reports that an investigation may possibly be opened into Brittany’s death. If that happens, I would be interested whether investigators take samples from the home and look for possible toxins there.
Update: Slate reports that heavy metals found in Brittany’s hair may be possibly explained by hair dye. What’s more is that there are questions about the lab, about how the samples were obtained (since Brittany’s father’s court petition for coroner samples was denied) and about the accreditation and professionalism of the lab. Apparently it’s highly unusual for a lab to speculate about causation, they’re just supposed to report findings.
Also, I would like to clarify why I keep emphasizing that the husband may have died the same way. Both Brittany and Simon died, at young ages, of “pneumonia and anemia,” within months of each other and while living in the same home. It’s incredibly sad and I understand why her father wants to find out if someone is responsible.

He?s introduced her to many designers and I guess they?re making stuff especially for her these days. But I?m reminded of just how much Kanye is like any other dude when it comes to women?s fashion: ask your boyfriend or husband about how HE would like you to dress, and the answer will usually be ?tighter, low-cut, shorter skirts, show more skin.? Your man wants to see your body. Your man wants to show you off. Which is fine. But let?s not call him a fashion genius, you know? So, that?s why I believe Kanye is dressing Kim ? because it looks like her boobs are on a platter. That?s how Kanye wants her to dress and that?s fine, but it?s not some genius style.
Anyway, as we discussed yesterday, Kanye ?cast? Kim in his new music video for ?Bound 2?. The song is terrible and the video is? well, budget and hilarious. Many of you said it looked like it was already an SNL parody, which is true. Here?s the video again. Again, this is sort of NSFW because of shadowy boobs and the language.
Well, that was awful. And funny. And in case you didn?t know, the half-naked woman banging the motorcycle is supposed to be? Kim? HAHAHAHA. Giving fans a humpday treat to get through the rest of the work week, Katy Perry premiered her new music video for "Unconditionally" on Wednesday (November 20).
In the tune, the "Roar" songstress gets personal as she belts out lyrics including, "let go and just be free because I will love you unconditionally."
Eager to get feedback from her fans, Katy took to Twitter after the original premiere Tuesday night on MTV, writing, "Yes, unconditional love sometimes feels like being hit by a car... Or being on fire... How does it feel to you?"

I know that about five people are going to care about this story, but when I read this news on Radar Online I actually smiled wildly and that did happy “stiff clap” thing that would have been embarrassing if anyone were to witness it. I love Adam Brody from his OC days, and I have a lot of fondness for Leighton Meester, and how low-key she is. Leighton is of course from Gossip Girl, and unlike her co-stars she hasn’t tried to hustle her way into our lives, and she doesn’t have much to prove. So together these two make me really happy. I wish there were more photos of them together, but that just goes to show how under the radar they are. Here’s more on their engagement, which comes after less than a year of dating:

In January they took their relationship to the next level and were soon spotted taking in art exhibits at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and traveling together through Bangkok in February.
Adam previously dated director Lorene Scafaria in 2010 and his co-star on The O.C., Rachel Bilson, for three years. Leighton was most recently linked to actor Aaron Himelstein, which followed her 2-year relationship with Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan ending in 2010.
?Right now their plan is to get married next summer,? adds the insider. ?They are still deciding if they want a destination wedding or if they?ll marry in Southern California somewhere.?
While there are no plans for children in the immediate future the couple do have two dogs together, Penny Lane and Trudy.

Well the source is Star Magazine, but it’s not like they’re actively trying to dig up news on Adam and Leighton, so I believe it. I loved that detail about how they have two dogs together, and their dogs’ names are creative and cute. I hope this is true and that they’re planning on marrying next summer! I would also love to see just one wedding photo, but I doubt that’s going to happen. Neither of them seems particularly into the Hollywood scene.

Earlier this year, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced a seemingly small side project (and I suspect it was more Brad than Angelina): a special Chateau Miraval wine described as a ?2012 vintage Pink ros?. The wine was labeled ?Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.? The wine went up for sale and it sold out in FIVE HOURS. Because Brangeloonies are a force to be reckoned with. For what it?s worth, all of the fancy wine critics said that ros was really good. And it seems like the critics were right: the Miraval wine just won a huge international wine award!
Watch out wine world! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just added another award to their growing mantel filled with Oscars, Golden Globes and SAG Awards — only this time, the honor is for wine.
The dynamic duo’s Chateau Miraval Ros 2012 was ranked number 84 among Wine Spectator?s Top 100 Wines of the Year, making it the “best Ros in the world,” according to a new press release. Back in March when the wine was first released, all 6,000 bottles sold out within five hours.
Although Jolie, 38, and fiance Pitt, 49, may have helped boost sales with their celebrity, wine experts seem to agree that the Hollywood super-couple can toast to their good taste. Wine Spectator Managing Editor Kim Marcus called the ros “Refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream.”
In 2012, the Jolie-Pitts partnered with the Perrin family, a fifth-generation winemaking brood located in France’s Provence region, to develop their own ros wine under the Jolie-Pitt & Perrin brand. The wine was created in Chteau Miraval, the couple’s 35-bedroom estate with adjoining 1,200-acre vineyard, which they purchased in 2012 for $60 million. The couple had vacationed at the stunning spot since 2008 with their six children, and Pitt proposed to his longtime love on the property in early 2012.
Perrin general manager Marc Perrin, who has worked closely with the couple to produce the wine, told Unfiltered Magazine in February, “[Brad and Angelina] are involved. He is very interested in wine — he knows his wine very well… it is fantastic.”
This week has been a big one for the Jolie-Pitt clan. The couple and their 13-year-old son Maddox attended the 4th Annual Governors Ball in Hollywood on Saturday, Nov. 16. A tearful, radiant Jolie, who was honored at the event with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her work as a UN Special Envoy, said before a room packed of philanthropic-minded celebrities, “I will do the best I can with this life, to be of use.”

I wonder what Angelina did for the wine? I mean, was she there, tasting samples? Perhaps. But I do think this is probably more of a side project for Brad, and good for him. It?s a cool little side project, especially given that they own that huge vineyard and they might as well make some wine. I wouldn?t mind a glass of the ros.

This is pretty much the least shocking news ever. Kelly Clarkson and her husband of two months (exactly) Brandon Blackstock are expecting their first baby together. Blackstock has two children from a previous relationship (a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old), children which Kelly refers to as ?her? kids or ?our? kids. Kelly tweeted the news yesterday evening, writing: ?I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever”
Kelly has been very ?open? about everything involving Brandon, their marriage and all of it. Quite honestly, Kelly has been a little bit ?extra? for the past few months, but I think she?s just giddy with love and she?s just one of those celebrities who wants to share everything with her fans. She posted several wedding photos, she released a wedding video and she?s given several interviews about how she was just dying to get knocked up. Perhaps she?ll post a conception video to her Twitter too? Make it a Vine video, Kelly!
Anyway, congrats to Kelly and Brandon. She?s been wanting a baby for a while and it?s nice that she got knocked up right away instead of drawing the speculation out for months or even years. This girl was hungry for behbehs. Also, since she and Brandon only got married two months ago, do you think she?s announcing it now because she?s three months along? And do you think this pregnancy was the reason for her ?sudden? (shotgun) wedding, where she didn?t even invite her family?

For the last two to three months, we?ve been in constant Goop-lockdown, waiting for Vanity Fair to publish whatever tell-all, take-down, smack-down article they?ve managed to write. We?ve done stories about what the article could possibly reveal. We?ve done stories about Gwyneth?s attempts to quash the article too, and her attempts to take down Vanity Fair in total. But what if this whole thing is just a conspiracy to get both Gwyneth and Vanity Fair some extra publicity? Huh.
The drama surrounding Vanity Fair and Gwyneth Paltrow has been going on for a couple of months now, with no resolution. According to multiple reports, the Oscar-winning actress is trying to stop pals and associates from speaking to Vanity Fair, which is said to be working on a detailed expose of her past. It all began in early September with a New York Times article entitled ?Harder Edge From Vanity Fair Chafes Some Big Hollywood Stars.?
The Times claimed that back in May, Paltrow had asked friends not to deal with the glossy magazine and sent out an email which not only requested pals decline to comment, but recommended that they never work with the magazine again.
“We started a story on her,” the magazine?s editor-in-chief Graydon Carter later told the Times of London in October. “We have a very good writer and it’ll run.”
It is now November 19, and still no story. So what gives? A source who has worked closely with Paltrow told us she isn?t the controlling person she has been labeled by the press throughout the ordeal.
?Gwyneth is actually one of the very genuine few in Hollywood, she isn?t calculative but can sometimes put her foot in it without thinking it through,? said the source.
But others have suggested the whole feud could all be a carefully constructed publicity stunt. Paltrow?s longtime publicist Stephen Huvane was listed by Business Insider last year as the most powerful Hollywood publicist and is one of the founders of the top entertainment industry firm Slate PR. Slate PR also happens to handle press and publicity for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the week of glamorous festivities prior to Hollywood?s night of nights.

While a source closely connected to the magazine said it was highly doubtful that this was a stunt, other experts haven?t totally ruled it out.
?It takes work to break through all the noise and creating tension is a way to do it,? said crisis communications expert Glenn Selig of Selig Multimedia. ?Controversy helps sell magazines, but I would say this helps the magazine more than Gwyneth.?
Unless it doesn’t.
?I?m still not sure how much is going to come from this,? an insider told FOX411. ?It seems like a lot of hot air with little substance, at least so far.”
Entertainment writer Scott Huver agrees.
?While I give Vanity Fair credit for sticking to their guns despite celebrity pressure, Gwyneth is not exactly the most pulse-quickening subject for an expose ? the world?s not necessarily going to be a better place because of it,? Hubver said. ?But if Paltrow?s camp did in fact make a major effort to squash it, you can be sure Graydon Carter?s not going to be the one to blink in this showdown.?
Reps for both Paltrow and Vanity Fair did not respond to a request for comment.

That?s very interesting. I do enjoy a good conspiracy theory and I wouldn?t put it past Vanity Fair to orchestrate some kind of controversy like that. But wwould Gwyneth play along? I don?t know. Gwyneth, for all of her Goop-ing, is rather old-school when it comes to how she plays the game and how she sees herself as a celebrity. I wonder if she?s capable of the kind of long-term media strategy that would involve her becoming a tabloid punching bag for months on end, and for what purpose? To create some buzz? To make her look more sympathetic? Eh.
