| Megan Fox hits pause on divorce: 'Maybe a third baby will bring them closer' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green at the pap-friendly Farmers Market over the weekend. After years of purposefully being quiet and un-scandalous, Megan is certainly bringing some drama these days, isn?t she? She debuted her surprise baby bump last week, and we?ve since learned that the baby-daddy is Megan?s estranged husband Brian Austin Green, and that the pregnancy was unplanned. We also learned that Megan and BAG are still living together, sleeping together and she?s still financially supporting him? but the divorce was, allegedly, still on. But now E! claims that Megan has hit pause on the divorce. Just like BAG planned, right?
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green aren’t getting divorced “anytime soon,” a source tells E! News exclusively. Megan, who is pregnant with their third child, and Brian have taken time since announcing their split last year to try to improve their relationship.
“Brian and Megan been working on themselves as individuals and things have gotten better between them as a couple,” the insider tells us. “They have been getting along great. They are best friends and know each other very well.”
In addition to their love, the source tells us that the couple has “a huge physical attraction that never went away? They admire each other on how they are as parents and are looking forward to bringing their third child into this world,” the source adds. “Megan’s favorite thing is being a mom and spending time with her family. They are living together not separately. Megan is feeling happy and healthy and is working out and taking it easy.”
[From E! News]
That?s definitely the happy-family narrative that they want people to believe. But surprisingly, People Magazine did an exclusive story about what drove them apart and why Megan filed for divorce last year. A family source claims that BAG was fed up with Megan?s career and he didn?t want to play the stay-at-home dad forever. The source says:
“They had several conflicts that led to the divorce. Megan worked a lot last year, and she continues to work a lot. When she is away, Brian stays with the kids. Before they filed for divorce, they had disagreements about this situation?Megan is a great mom, but also wants to keep her great career. Brian ended up being a stay-at-home dad. He is happy to be with the kids, but also wants another life than just being a dad?Maybe a third baby will bring them closer. It seems they both think it’s worth trying a bit harder to keep their family together as it is.”
[From People]
Which is just a further extension of my theory that Brian Austin Green had a diabolical plot to get Megan pregnant so she would stay home and not work for a while. But I always feel like BAG doesn?t think things through ? I mean, Megan is the breadwinner. BAG hasn?t worked that much over the past five years, and while their divorce was ?on,? he claimed that he had vertigo and couldn?t work. So, someone needs to make the money. Of course, it could be that the vertigo claim was all a sham, because BAG was racing cars last weekend too.

| Kelly Ripa 'livid' Michael Strahan left without telling her, she hasn't returned | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Michael Strahan has co-hosted Live! with Kelly Ripa for nearly four years now. Kelly has been on the show for fifteen, since Kathy Lee Gifford left and she co-hosted with Regis Philbin, who retired in 2011. (He’s still kicking at 84, I just checked.) So you would think that Kelly would be one of the first people to learn that her longterm co-host was leaving the show to join Good Morning America. According to outlets including TMZ, E!, and People that wasn’t the case and Ripa found out via a memo to the entire network like everyone else. No one at her workplace, not even Strahan, gave her a heads up and she was understandably “livid.” According to E! Strahan couldn’t tell Ripa because network execs told him not to.
About an hour after LIVE! With Kelly and Michael aired Tuesday, an internal memo at ABC revealed he would be leaving the show by summer’s end to work on Good Morning America full-time. His co-host, Kelly Ripa, did not receive a heads up. In fact, E! News has learned that executives broke the news to her just after the show finished taping?around the same time everyone else first heard about it. “She was livid,” a source says exclusively. “It wasn’t pretty.”
Strahan joined Ripa and others in the meeting. “He wanted to be there. He didn’t have to be, but he didn’t want to have her hear it and not be there,” the source says. “He tried to do the stand up thing.” Strahan, who replaced Regis Philbin in 2012, has been a correspondent on ABC’s Good Morning America since 2014. When executives decided to move him to the news show full-time, they intentionally kept Ripa and others key staff members in the dark to prevent leaks. “That was a network decision,” the source says, adding that it was a carefully executed plan. “It wasn’t an overnight decision and took some time to put it in place.”
Strahan didn’t have a say in the matter.
“He’s not the boss,” the source tells E! News. “He is an employee of the network.”
[From E! Online]
That’s a weak excuse that network execs they were worried about leaks. They could have at least told Kelly, that would have only been fair. People confirms E!’s version of events and adds that Kelly “went crazy.”
TMZ is reporting that while it’s true that Strahan was under orders not to tell Ripa, “Kelly and Michael don’t get along” and Ripa feels like “he’s disrespectful to her and is full of himself.” In an earlier story, TMZ revealed that ABC is considering canceling Live and adding a third hour to Good Morning America, which is facing stiff competition from The Today Show.
Ripa did not host Live! on Wednesday and was replaced by Ana Gasteyer. Sources tell US Magazine that Ripa took a sick day. Strahan had some nice things to say about her, and about his time on Live, at the end of the show, but who knows if he’s paying lip service.
People has a source close to Strahan who says that “He very much wanted to do the right thing” by telling “her in person and [giving] her months notice” but that he couldn’t. Strahan is said to be “hurt by her reaction” and “the very public way she’s handling this.” Their source added “You can’t not show up for work. If you’re going to have a meltdown you don’t do it publicly.” It’s not public! Kelly didn’t show up for work. She didn’t tweet or Instagram anything. She may have gotten mad at work but she didn’t make her response public, she just took time off, as is her right.
It looks like this show is about to get canceled and like they put off telling Ripa until it was absolutely necessary. People is reporting that it’s unknown when Kelly will return to the show. A source tells them that Kelly plans to stay out this entire week. Additional stories have come out stating that Kelly is on a 20th anniversary vacation with her family and husband, Mark Consuelos, in Turks and Caicos. Apparently the trip was planned already and she was supposed to be out on Friday and Monday, but left early when she was blindsided by the news of Strahan leaving the show.

| Lily Allen was stalked, attacked at home, wants 'answers from the police' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Regardless of your opinion of Lily Allen, her story about being stalked for the last seven years will chill you. She recently sat down with BBC Newsnight to discuss the ordeal as well as how she felt victim-shamed by the Metropolitan police. I have summarized due to length but you can read the full Guardian exclusive here. In short, seven years ago, someone tweeted under the name @lilyallenRIP that they had written her song The Fear. What followed was almost a decade of harassing letters, rants and threats. The police honed in on a man named Alex Gray, whom Lily herself had yet to encounter in person. One night, while Lily was on stage, a man matching the description she had been given of her stalker held up a banner saying ?I wrote The Fear.? Lily went back to the police begging to see a photo of their suspect. After a few tries, the police finally relinquished. Everything culminated last October when somebody broke into Lily?s house.
In October last year, Allen burned her dinner. ?I had had all sorts of metal shutters and locks on the doors, but I?d been cooking and burned a pan and opened the back door. I closed it but forgot to lock it when I went to bed.? Asleep with her friend, her children in their room across the hall, Allen was awoken in the early hours by a terrific banging on the wall. ?I sat up and looked and the doorhandle was twisting round. This guy came steaming in and I didn?t know who he was. I recoiled and he ripped the duvet off, calling me a ?fucking bitch? and yelling about where his dad is.?
The man had an object stuffed inside his jacket that Allen is convinced was a knife. She believes he was caught off guard when he found she was not alone, and her friend was able to shove the man out of the house as she ran to check that her children were safe. ?There was this second outside my kids? room when I was terrified to go in, in case of what I might find.?
The police told Allen the intruder was probably someone who had stumbled into the wrong flat after too much to drink. ?For me, it was too much of a coincidence that the only night I had left the shutters up, this man came in. I believe he had been spending a lot of time out there in my garden, watching.?
Calling the police back the next day, Allen told them she thought the intruder could be the same man who had been threatening her.
?But they were uncomfortable with the idea. Then I realised my handbag was missing and the change in atmosphere was palpable, it was like a sigh of relief: ?now it?s burglary ? we understand that?.?
?For me, the burglary was like this insignificant thing compared to what he was doing to me and my life. After about a week, I went out as I was due to DJ at an event. I hadn?t had any contact from police, I presumed they were actively searching for him; it?s now apparent to me that wasn?t the case. When I arrived home, my handbag was on the bonnet of my car outside my house. Burnt. Everything pulled out and cut up or burned and the bag burned.? Gray was subsequently caught and charged with burglary.
?I want some answers from the police. I?m a famous person and had the inclination to push things. If they treat me like this, how the hell are they going to treat someone else without those resources, without clout??
[From The Guardian]
I cringed at her quote about standing outside her kids’ door scared of what she would find. Lily says this ordeal has greatly impacted her personal life. She says she is uncomfortable being out and about, which has to be difficult for someone whose profession demands a public life.
Alex Gray was found guilty of burglary and harassment and is awaiting sentencing. According to Lily, the police told her if she wanted a jail sentence, they had to prosecute with the burglary charge. It is harder to get a conviction for stalking than burglary in the US so maybe the same is true in the UK? However, if you read the full article, there are many questions unanswered like why the police destroyed all the letters Lily gave them from her stalker, citing only ?police protocol?. For what it?s worth, the police did say that they took the stalking seriously but could not comment any further on this case. I imagine Lily did feel like she wasn?t being taken seriously but we don?t know why the police acted as they did. I just hope Lily and her children are safe now. Thank God she had a friend sleeping over that night.

| Daisy Ridley: My skin isn't great, I have a trainer, I don't always smile | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The last time we talked about something Daisy Ridley had posted on Instagram she was schooling an online troll who mocked her body by saying “real women have curves.” Ridley was quite articulate in defending herself, and every other woman, as a “real women.” She wrote, in part “I will not apologise for how I look, what I say and how I live my life cause what?s happening inside is much more important anyway and I am striving to be the best version of myself, even if I stumble along the way.” It was a nice sentiment from Ridley, and you can tell she thinks about these issues and cares about their effect on other women.
In a new Instagram post Ridley, 24, put up a glamorous selfie with winged eyeliner, and then she got a bit philosophic about the nature of social media and how it creates unrealistic expectations. Here’s what she wrote.
3 of these statements aren't true… Social media is great but also a bit scary cause what people post is the most filtered, most carefully chosen and cleverly edited moments of their lives. And self esteem is a huge issue for people around the world. My skin isn't great so I don't post no make up selfies, much as I'd like to; I have a trainer urging me on in workouts and don't include all the times I say 'I can't do it' and I don't smile all the time but I like to share the pictures where I am. But I actually do love myself, I try to think good thoughts always and am surrounded by the most wonderful people, so I'm keeping it balanced (like the Force, obvs). Just thought I'd say

| Katherine Heigl: 'I absolutely owe anyone an apology I unwittingly offended' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Kitty litter spokeswoman Katherine Heigl would like to explain why she shouldn?t have said all of the terrible things she?s said. Heigl appeared on Howard Stern?s show on Wednesday ? perhaps to shill kitty litter? ? and she and Stern ended up getting into EVERYTHING. It would involve about a million links, so perhaps it?s best to glance through our Heigl archives from the past, say, seven years. Or more. She?s been a pill for the better part of a decade and there are dozens of instances of her unpleasant attitude, diva behavior and general sourness. And what?s funny is that Howard Stern basically asked her about all of it.
On criticizing Knocked Up after it made her a star: “That was dumb. I liked the movie a lot. I just didn’t like me. She was kind of like, she was so judgmental and kind of uptight and controlling and all these things and I really went with it while we were doing it, and a lot of it, Judd allows everyone to be very free and improvise and whatever and afterwards, I was like, ‘Why is that where I went with this? What an a–hole she is!’ It was, again, one of those situations, it was a huge opportunity for me. I was being interviewed for Vanity Fair. Like, I was on the cover of Vanity Fair, it was a huge big deal for me. And the journalist…just said, ‘You know a lot of women felt it was a little sexist’ so then I felt obligated to answer that and so I tried in my very sort of ungracious way to answer why I felt that it maybe was a little.”
She admits she didn?t even call Judd Apatow to apologize: “I probably should’ve [called them]. But what I did was very, I did it publicly instead and kind of tried to say, look, this was not what I meant and this was an incredible experience for me and they were incredibly good to me on this movie, so I did not mean to s–t on them at all. I’ve thought about like, writing a note. I feel embarrassed. I don’t want it to feel insincere on any level.”
Why she announced that she was withdrawing her name from Emmy consideration in 2008: “I didn’t feel good about my performance. There was a part of me that thought, because I had won the year before, that I needed juicy, dramatic, emotional material and I just didn’t have that that season? I went in [to speak to Shonda Rhimes] ’cause I was really embarrassed. So I went in to Shonda and said, ‘I’m so sorry. That wasn’t cool. I should not have said that’…I shouldn’t have said anything publicly but at the time, I didn’t think anybody would notice. I didn’t know that journalists would see who submitted and who didn’t. I just quietly didn’t submit and then it became a story and then I felt I was obligated to make my statement and ‘shut up, Katie.’”
She owes apologies to a lot of people: “I absolutely owe anyone an apology I unwittingly offended or disrespected. I get it. It was an immature dumbass moment.”
She started going to therapy: “I started going because of the scrutiny ? and I was not handling it well. I was feeling completely like the biggest piece of s— on the bottom of your shoe. I was really struggling with it and how to not take it all really personally.”
She found herself acting timidly on sets: “I was like, ‘This is nonsense. Stop it. Get some help and own your voice.’ “
[From E! News and People]
Just my opinion: she?s still full of sh-t. You can hear the bullsh-t and lies and inadvertent truths dripping off these quotes. ??That I needed juicy, dramatic, emotional material and I just didn’t have that that season?? Meaning she still feels like she was fundamentally justified for throwing the writers under the bus. Meaning she still feels like her material was sub-par and it was her duty to say so publicly. And then: ?I’ve thought about like, writing a note. I feel embarrassed. I don’t want it to feel insincere on any level.? Why would it be ?insincere,? Heigl? Because you would just be apologizing with an eye-roll? Because she?s still pissed off that people are still disgusted by how many times she “unwittingly” offended and disrespected them.
