Around this time last year, Ryan Seacrest was in ?crisis meetings? with E! executives about his insistence on hosting the 2018 E! Red Carpet show for the Oscars. The crisis was that his former assistant, Suzie Hardy, detailed the months of sexual harassment, groping and abuse she suffered because Seacrest felt entitled to her body, her time and everything else. Hardy?s story blew up just before the Oscars last year, and I believed her. I still believe her. And I don?t know what happened to that story. Months passed and it was like most people just forgot about it or wanted to forget about it. Gossip outlets and media outlets reverted to covering Seacrest the same as always, and he didn?t lose ANY work. And now, finally, he lost something: his girlfriend.
Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor have split, a source close to the couple confirms to PEOPLE.
?It was an amicable split and they?re still really close,? says the source of Seacrest, 44, and Taylor, 26, who had been dating for nearly three years.
?They still love and care about each other,? the source adds.
After meeting through friends in 2013, the pair soon began dating, and after an initial breakup in late 2014, they rekindled the romance.
?We had both matured,? Taylor told PEOPLE last fall.
When Seacrest was tapped to co-host Live With Kelly and Ryan in 2017, Taylor, a trained chef, moved to New York City from LA with him. ?We?re very in sync,? Seacrest told PEOPLE in November, adding that their cross-country move had been an ?adventure? they?ve both embraced.

I actually had to go back through our archives to figure out when we last discussed Ryan Seacrest?s love life. Basically, the last time anyone paid attention to his love life was back in 2013, when he and Julianne Hough split up and he ended up dating a swimsuit model for a short time. He?s dated other women in the past three years ? Hilary Cruz (not Ted Cruz?s wife), Dominique Piek and Shayna Terese Taylor ? but those relationships have seemingly been pretty brief and not all that high-profile. Seacrest is now 41 years old, and surprisingly, he?s not still pulling girlfriends from the under-25 group. His new girlfriend is none other than Adriana Lima, a 35-year-old divorcee with two young daughters:
Ryan Seacrest and Adriana Lima may be taking their friendship to the next level. The pair ? who met while covering the summer Olympics in Rio for NBC ? spent some quality time together during a recent trip to the Big Apple where Seacrest, 41, was on a business trip and Lima, 35, attended Fashion Week events.
“They reconnected in New York last weekend over a romantic dinner to get to know each other outside of work,” a source tells PEOPLE. In early August, the Victoria’s Secret Angel showed Seacrest around her native Brazil along with fellow countryman Alessandra Ambrosio as NBC’s food and culture correspondents. The trio documented several of their adventures on social media with Lima even calling the former American Idol host “charismatic” and “handsome” in one post.
Lima was previously married to professional basketball player Marko Jaric for five years. They announced their separation in May 2014 and finalized their divorce in March. Lima and Jari are parents to daughters Valentina, 6, and Sienna, 4.

A decade ago, before Adriana Lima married Marko Jaric, she told GQ that she doesn?t believe in sex before marriage. As in, she ?saved herself? for marriage, got pregnant on her honeymoon and five years later, she and Jaric split. I don?t know if Adriana still feels that way about sex outside of marriage. I also don?t know if that?s the kind of arrangement Seacrest likes. I do think it?s interesting that he?s had a few relationships with very religious women where it seems like? sex really isn?t on the table. In this day and age, that kind of arrangement seems so strange. That being said, I do like that Ryan is dating a woman close in age.
Update: Apparently, Lima wants you to know that she’s no one’s beard. ET reports that she’s actually seeing hottie Patriot Julian Edelman.

Well, well, well. I really have to hand it to Ryan Seacrest. Dude is a smooth operator, and I completely confess that I really thought Julianne Hough would couple up much faster than Ryan following their recent dissolution of contract breakup after over two years together in March of this year. In the aftermath, we collectively giggled at Ryan for supposedly harboring a mad crush on Selena Gomez while Julianne got dirty by rubbing up on Alex Pettyfer at Coachella while (probably) fielding inquiries from Tom Cruise.
Alas, Ryan has won this race of the quickest ex of this relationship to end up in a recoupled situation. It seems that Ryan has found himself a new lady already — he’s reportedly been secretly dating model Dominique Piek for a couple of weeks now. If Dom’s name rings a bell, that’s because she’s the most recent ex-girlfriend of Chris Pine, with whom she was first sighted last July before they eventually parted ways in April of this year. When we first discussed Dominique in terms of Chris Pine, most of you weren’t crazy about her at all, but I’m interested to see what you think of her in light of her new man … Ryan Seacrest. Really?
Ryan Seacrest is ready for love again!
In Touch has learned that the American Idol host, 38, has been quietly seeing Sports Illustrated model Dominique Piek, 27.
“She and Ryan have been out to dinner together twice in one week recently,” a source close to the South African-born model tells In Touch, on newsstands now.
According to the source, Ryan (who split from actress Julianne Hough in March) “gets along really well” with Dominque, also recently single since calling it quits with actor Chris Pine in April.

Damn. I never imagined that Ryan would go for a Sports Illustrated model, but who knows? Certainly, any up-and-comer could see an advantage of dating Ryan since he’s, you know, so powerful in Hollywood. Plus, the dude has great … teeth. Well, he does.

Starting their weekend off on a relaxed note, Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest grabbed some coffee at the Malibu Country Market on Saturday (February 2).
Keeping close as they strolled back to their vehicle, the ?Dancing with the Stars? alum donned a bright Pink sweatshirt, while her handsome beau kept casual in workout gear.
In career news, Seacrest recently began another season of hosting the hit musical talent search ?American Idol.?
Fans of Ms. Hough won?t have to wait much longer for the anticipated release of her romance flick, ?Safe Haven.?
Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, the film hits theaters nationwide on Valentine?s Day.

When Ryan Seacrest, 38, and Julianne Hough, 24, first got together a little over two years ago, a lot of us thought it was a publicity stunt. I remember that he took her shopping for luxury goods in Paris and made sure the paparazzi were there to document their PDA-heavy outing. The more time that passes, the more they come across like a regular, committed couple. It also helps that we’re getting to know Julianne and that she seems like she’s much wiser and more mature than her years. During his Golden Globe red carpet coverage, Ryan gushed about Julianne’s (goofy) dress a few times, and he was genuine about it. It’s like he was looking for excuses to talk about her.
In a new interview with Chelsea Handler, Ryan continued to praise his girlfriend, calling her “the best part of every day” and admitting that they were considering starting a family together.
“She’s so beautiful…stunning,” the American Idol host said about his girlfriend of two years, Julianne Hough, on Chelsea Lately tonight when Handler flashed a pic of the glamorous duo at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
Agreeing with Handler’s assessment of Hough as a “great girl,” Seacrest called her “phenomenal.”
“She’s the best part of every day,” he said?and, since Seacrest never sleeps, that’s a long day to be the highlight of!
Asked if he wants to get married and have a family, the 38-year-old multihyphenate said, “We both do,” but that the 25-year-old [sic] Hough?not Handler?would be the first one to know when that’s about to happen.
They touched briefly on American Idol, too, Seacrest diplomatically saying that Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have “come to work and disagreed about a thing or two, here or there, but now, today, they’re fine.”
“It just sort of depends,” he added, a master of ceremonies, as always.

In the video segment posted on E!, Chelsea ribs Ryan and tells him that she’s heard that the decor in his new house “is very feminine.” She makes constant references to the rumors that he bats for the other team. It’s a testament to Ryan’s personality that he didn’t get defensive or deny anything. Plus he practically owns E! He could easily tell Chelsea or The Soup to stop making fun of him, but he accepts the ribbing and doesn’t pull rank. When Chelsea introduced the topic of Ryan’s girlfriend, she said “I believe this relationship, actually” later adding that unlike Ryan “I don’t have to prove to anyone that I’m straight.” That’s Chelsea for ya. (Also, Chelsea says in the interview that Julianne is 25, but she’s not. She doesn’t turn 25 until July.)
As far as Ryan starting a family, I just get the sense that the dude is way too busy to think about it now. He has a radio show, he’s on Idol, he produces multiple reality shows. He looked so tired on Chelsea Lately. He probably can’t even consider having kids at this point, but at least he has plenty of time for that with Julianne. She’s young and seems too busy with her career too.

Last week, Julianne Hough revealed in a new interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine that she had been abused as a child. Julianne plays an abuse victim in her new movie, Safe Haven, which is out in the US on February 14. She seemed to think it was the right time to tell her story, and it rang true. At the age of 10, Julianne went with her older brother, fellow DWTS alum Derek Hough, from her home in Utah, to London to train as a dancer with the Ballas family. (The parents of DWTS professional Mark Ballas.) Hough told Cosmopolitan that “While I was in London, I was abused, mentally, physically, everything.” She declined to name her abuser, but claimed that he told her “if I ever went back to the United States, three things were going to happen. One: I was going to amount to nothing. Two: I was going to work at Whataburger. And three: I was going to end up a slut.” Whataburger is an American burger chain, so some people believed that she was giving a hint as to her abuser’s identity, without naming him outright.
Star Magazine [via Radar] has a new story claiming that Corky Ballas, Mark Ballas’ father, is outraged that Julianne claimed that she was abused while under his care. Here’s their story:
Mark?s father Corky and his ex-wife Shirley ?are livid with Julianne over suggestions that she was abused in the U.K. under their care,? a source close to the Ballas family told Star. ?At Corky?s own expense, he took Julianne into his home and turned her into a world-class dancer.
?Now, he feels like he has been ambushed.?
The Footloose beauty, a source said, interpreted Corky?s encouragement as abuse, and wound up leaving England prematurely.
?At the end of her time in London, they were barely speaking,? the source said. ?One thing?s for sure ? she really opened a can of worms.
?The Ballas family and the Houghs are up in arms.?

Here’s what gets me about this story. If it’s true that Star has a source close to Corky Ballas, that’s a weak argument that Julianne “interpreted Corky?s encouragement as abuse.” The phrasing bothers me, as does the claim that Corky “took Julianne into his home and turned her into a world-class dancer.” He didn’t turn her into “a world class dancer,” she worked hard and achieved that while being coached by him. This story is bothersome on many levels, and I believe Julianne. She surely put a lot of thought into it before she decided to reveal what happened to her, and she didn’t name names.

Picking up some last minute presents, Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest went shopping in Beverly Hills, CA on Saturday (December 22).
The former "Dancing with the Stars" pro looked boho chic in a black fedora, pattern cardigan, and mustard-yellow skinny jeans, while her E! News beau went casual in jeans and a zip-up sweatshirt.
Although the Hollywood lovebirds may have procrastinated on getting their gifts, it looks like they got in the holiday spirit in plenty of time.
Earlier in the week, Julianne posted a picture to her Instagram page of herself and Seacrest having fun at a local outdoor ice skating rink.

Kicking off the week with a swanky shindig, Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest were spotted at the 2012 Met Ball in New York City last night (May 7).
The ?Footloose? hottie and her ?American Idol? stud showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art looking top-notch as they posed for the shutterbugs.
Julianne opted for a pretty Pink Carolina Herrera dress teamed with Jimmy Choo heels while Ryan went for the classic black Burberry tuxedo/bow tie combo.
Prior to his arrival, Ryan tweeted, ?On way to #metgala?the only place I don?t feel awkward asking ?who are you wearing???
