Of the string of home invasions, Officer Brett Goodkin said, “The celebrities had a couple of things in common. That they were celebrities, it was easy to find out where they live via the Internet, and that none of the celebrities knew any of the suspects in this crime.”

They sparked a buzz over the weekend when they were spotted at a hockey game together, and now everyone wants to know what’s up between Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner.
Cody Alan, on CMT Radio, recently asked the beautiful country singer about her relationship with Lautner, to which she simply replied, “I don’t know, he’s an amazing guy and we’re really close … and ah … yep.”
Continuing on, Ms Swift mentioned that she and the Jacob Black actor are in a film called “Valentine’s Day” together but are yet to see any of it. She says they both want “to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad, cause our scene was so much fun to do, it was hilarious doing this scene!”
Swift’s full interview will air Thursday night on CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan between 7pm and midnight EST, and don’t forget Taylor is the host of Saturday Night Live coming this weekend (October 31).

The 16-year-old garnered 42 percent of votes in the AOL poll, followed up by Britney Spears and Kanye West.
Stephanie Cohen of JSYK said of the results, “I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney. I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up...Parents are definitely resisting it.”

US former supermodel Cindy Crawford says she would have little chance of making it big in the fashion business today with her curvy figure, a German celebrity magazine reported Tuesday.
“I would not have become a supermodel in 2009. I look too healthy,” Crawford told Bunte.
“A body like mine with big breasts, normal thighs and toned upper arms” is no longer what the industry is looking for, she said.
Crawford, 43, said she was happy with her physique but worried about the effects of ageing like wrinkles and bulges.
“That’s why I like being in my 40s so much — being at peace with yourself, knowing about your strengths beyond being pretty,” she said.
Crawford, known for her trademark beauty spot above her upper lip, briefly studied chemical engineering before becoming one of the world’s most popular cover girls in the 1980s and 1990s.

It seems like Cindy has been getting more press lately for whatever reason. Part of it is that she?s launched a home accessories line at J.C. Penney, and she?s been giving more interviews. A few months ago she even talked about her ?cellulite? in Redbook. Cindy has also been in the news because she?s been hanging out George Clooney and his girlfriend, who looks like a budget version of Cindy. But that cleavage is photoshopped, right? When I?ve seen her perform, she?s never quite so? boobtastic. And while they maximized her cleavage, her hips (that don?t lie) look minimized. Why would Rolling Stone do that? She?s got lovely hips! Not every woman needs to have the hips of a ten year old boy!
Unlike most women, Shakira is willing to let her body go. In fact, the 5-foot-2 Colombian “She Wolf” singer, 32, says she’s looking forward to it — if it means she’ll become a mom.
“My body feels like it is asking to reproduce, to have a huge belly and carry babies,” she tells the new issue of Rolling Stone, on newsstands today. “My boyfriend is six feet tall, and sometimes I feel like I’m his keychain, a small thing.”
But while the Grammy winner — currently in a nine-year, monogamous relationship with investment banker Antonio de la Rua — has long had a maternal instinct, don’t expect her to walk down the aisle any time soon. It’s something she says she’ll never do.
“We live in a society that represses women’s subconscious dreams,” Shakira, who considers herself a die-hard feminist, says.
“You know, women have to make enormous efforts through life, much larger than men. We deal with so many pressure: the pressure of aesthetics, and how society wants us to deliver our performances as mothers, daughters and wives.?
“It’s funny how the papers want to see you married, and then they want to see you divorced,” she continues. “Well, I won’t do any of it.”

Aw, I like what she says about babies and marriage. She sounds so cool. I wish she was my little pocket keychain friend. I kind of like this trend among celebrities to eschew marriage, it?s an interesting development that seems to be picking up more steam. Shakira?s right about how the tabloid media would treat her marriage, and the marriage of anyone as famous as her. We would root for her to get married, and then enjoy all of the ?Divorce!? stories immediately afterwards.

Courtney Cox’s old “Friends” castmate, Lisa Kudrow, will make a cameo on Cox’s new ABC sitcom, “Cougar Town”, which airs Wednesdays at 9:30. The show is performing well in the ratings and has been picked up by ABC for a new season, so it doesn’t particularly need a boost. Kudrow could benefit from the appearance as much as the show - she hasn’t been seen much since her HBO faux reality series “The Comeback” was canceled after one season in 2005. She now stars on an improvised Internet-based show called Web Therapy that’s earning praise from fans.
This excerpt has spoilers for Cougar Town beyond the news that Kudrow will appear:
We know this much to be true: Any Friends rerun playing at 11:30 p.m. on channel 5 is still as good or better than most of the original episodes of TV airing on any given day.

According to Ms. Cox herself in TV Guide magazine, “If it all works out, she’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me…whatever it is [she does], she’s the best in town at what she does and I become addicted.”
Words that could apply equally well to Cox, Kudrow and their fellow Friendly brethren: Best in town and addictive. (Yay for this reunion!)
The Kudrow-Cox joint is expected to premiere in early 2010 on ABC.
Do you already love Cougar Town, or can you live without it until Kudrow comes by?

I really loved Friends, but Cougar Town is no Friends with benefits. I’ve tried to watch the show and sat through the whole first episode. Some of the jokes made me cringe and the dialogue is over the top and unrealistic. The characters get in ridiculous situations that could never happen in real life. I watched about ten minutes of the second episode before I switched it off. A lot of people enjoy Cougar Town, and I’ve seen people raving about it online, but it’s just not for me. It seems like it appeals to the same fans of Scrubs, which I also couldn’t get into. For that type of genre it’s probably a great show that I’m just not able to appreciate.
I enjoy more subtle kind of humor - like Friends, that was a great show. Eastwick on ABC is a supernatural dramedy that I really enjoy this season, too, and the rest of my favorites are dramas. I’d love to see more of the former Freinds castmembers and this is good news that Kudrow will be popping up in Cougar Town.

According to a friend of the couple, R-Pattz has been getting too serious too quickly for the likes of 19-year-old Kristen.

First of all, although I think Sparkles is totally enamored with Kristen (that girl played him brilliantly), I don?t think he?s all ?I need a ring on my finger, lady.? Lauren Conrad certainly has the skills to make herself one killer Halloween costume. The fashion designer, however, won't be going as anything intentionally scary for the holiday this year. Well, actually, her idea just might frighten people with a fear of clowns.
"We were just talking about this today; we were talking about Halloween costumes," she told MTV News. "And I decided that I want to be a clown this year. Like, a pretty clown with a tutu and bright tights and suspenders. A girl clown."

Fans will have to wait an extra day to catch Jay-Z and Alicia Keys teaming up for a performance of their Big Apple anthem, "Empire State of Mind," at the World Series. It was announced on Tuesday (October 27) that the duo will now be performing their ode to NYC before the game's first pitch on Thursday instead of Wednesday, as originally planned, when the Yankees play the Phillies in the Series.
"The performance was changed due to the forecast for inclement weather for Wednesday, October 28," a joint statement from Jay-Z and Major League Baseball reads. "Staging for the performance could adversely impact the field if it is wet, creating damaged and unsafe playing conditions.
While there was no comment from Jay in the statement, we expect he'll be just as pumped to perform on Thursday. "First of all, the new [Yankee] Stadium — it's the Yankees and it's game one of the World Series," Jay, an avid Yankee fan, told MTV News on Monday. "I'm beyond excited about it, and on top of that, it's a New York record. It's a record that pays homage to New York [and which was also performed at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards]. The timing of that couldn't be better."
Jay had expected to perform at the World Series for some time, he just had to be sure that his hometown team was definitely going to the Series.
"The whole time we knew we had the performance," Jay joked. "We knew we had the performance last week. I think it was 3-1 [in favor of the Yankees] at the time. [The Yankees] lost that game to make it 3-2. I was like, 'Man!' I had to come in [the stadium] with the stage and all that. I was like, 'Man, these guys gotta come on.' It was almost selfish."
