The theme of 2021 celebrity gossip is ?let?s redo 2003 and/or 2007.? It?s very strange that we?re still talking about Bennifer and Britney Spears and Travis Barker, I?m just saying. Ever since Travis Barker went public with his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, his ex-wife Shanna Moakler has been doing the most to talk sh-t about Barker and the Kardashians. Moakler has claimed for years and she still claims that Barker and Kim Kardashian hooked up back in the day, and that was one of the reasons why she and Travis divorced, and that?s why his thing with Kourtney is bad. For weeks now, that story has been happening and Kim really hasn?t said much about it. But this week, Kim did an ?ask me anything? on her IG Stories and she denied it.
Kim Kardashian denied the rumors that she hooked up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker on Instagram Tuesday.
?Getting my nails done right now and I have time today,? the 40-year-old multi-hyphenate wrote via her Instagram Stories Wednesday evening, closing with ?ask me anything??
Naturally, a fan asked her whether she and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker had ever hooked up, an assertion that Barker?s ex Shanna Moakler made and blamed for the dissolution of her and Barker?s marriage. Aubrey O?Day, of all people, added fuel to the fire with a recently-surfaced quote from her own Instagram from July 2020.
?NO!? Kardashian wrote in response. ?False narrative! We?ve been friends for years and I?m so happy for him and Kourt.?
[From Page Six]
Mostly I don?t care, and we all know that Kim has issues with honesty, but I don?t know, I kind of believe that they didn?t hook up. I think Travis wanted to. I think they probably flirted with each other a lot. But I just don?t believe that Travis is her type. Then again, everybody was hooking up back then.
Meanwhile, did you know that Kim flunked the ?baby bar? exam?
Kim Kardashian is rethinking her goal of being a lawyer. In an exclusive sneak peek at Thursdays Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode on May 27, the mother of four makes a shocking announcement to sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. So you guys, I did not pass the baby bar, Kim states.
The SKIMS founder explains in a confessional that the structure of her journey to the bar exam looks a little different than that of an average law student. If you are doing law school the way Im doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program, Kim says. And after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This would [be] actually harder, I hear, than the official bar.
[From E! News]
Apparently, Kim scored 474 and a passing grade is 560. She can take the baby bar again, and Kim said (in the same IG Stories ama) that ?Unfortunately I havent passed yet, but Im not giving up and Im preparing to take it again soon.? I know everyone loves to clown on her (and she is a clownish herself about some things) but I genuinely like the fact that she?s studying and trying to do this for herself, for her own interests, and to continue her education. I even appreciate that she?s admitting that she failed the test and she needs to retake it. Think about how easy it would be for her to say ?well, I failed this test, so I guess law school is over.?

| Sienna Miller on herself & Britney Spears: 'Everyone in the culture was complicit' | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|

|

Sienna Miller is still promoting Wander Darkly, a drama with a plot which is very hard to describe. So hard to describe, Sienna still hasn?t figured out a two-sentence teaser for it, so I know I can?t do it either. This was the film Sienna was promoting with her Daily Beast interview, where she chatted about the old days of Jude Law and It Girl-ness, but glossed over the Rhys Ifans and Balthazar Getty years, which (imo) were just as formative, gossip-wise, as the Jude years. Sienna chats here with the Guardian, and there are more references to the whole craziness of 2003-2008. She talks about the Leveson Inquiry, suing the British tabloids and negotiating like a man:
Watching Framing Britney Spears. ?Everyone in the culture was complicit in what was being done to girls in that moment. I was definitely a victim of that, and I couldn?t handle it. I don?t know how anyone could. It was assault. And I think the reaction from a lot of women under that kind of scrutiny at the time was to just lose it a little bit. You?re in a perpetual state of anxiety. You?re living this video-game existence, being hunted relentlessly. Watching the documentary, I could really relate to those moments where she cracks because it?s unmanageable. It is aggressive and terrifying and you lose control. That?s their intention.?
She could have adapted her behavior: ?I could have not gone out. Or not worn what I wanted. I could have changed my life in some way. I just took them all to court instead.?
She takes credit for inventing boho chic?? ?You probably have Ugg boots, disc belts and peasant tops in your cupboard without knowing why. And you?re welcome. [Fans] say: ?I love your style!? And I think: ?What about my films???
Her performance in Factory Girl. ?I think my performance was appreciated, but the noise of everything else was louder. It was, like: ?She can?t possibly be good and be doing all these other things.?
On Wander Darkly: ?It felt really clunky to make, and it took a lot of persuasion from the director to reassure us that this was not an absolute disaster. I felt lost, which served my character?s state of mind. I was hoping for a miracle in the edit. There was a crew member outside with a hosepipe spraying the water into the garage. I was barefoot, and the director was saying: ?This will turn into the sea.? And I was just looking at this man with a hose, and saying to myself: ?There is no way, with the budget we have, that this is going to work.? It required so much trust, and I did waver. I should?ve relaxed more.?
On paychecks: ?I can tell you that Diego [Luna, her Wander Darkly costar] and I basically got nothing. With an independent film, you?re not doing it for the pay cheque.? Studios are another story. ?When a studio is involved and it?s a demanding schedule and you know you?ll be leaned on heavily in the press tour, then I do believe that women should be compensated more than they have been in the past. I never really advocated for that before because I was always so fking grateful to be working.?
On Chadwick Boseman fighting for her to paid properly: ?His act of generosity was incredibly validating. It was a total anomaly in Hollywood for someone to behave that way. But it was also very true to who the man was.?
Negotiate like a man: ?I spoke to my agents and my lawyer, who are all women, and I said: ?OK, I?m going to go in and negotiate as if I?m a man.? I had to get myself into the mindset of being male to even have those discussions. That?s another product of the patriarchy we?ve grown up in. It?s depressing that we accepted that, along with all the advances and the misogyny. We took it because that?s what we were raised in. But the world is changing.?
[From The Guardian]
I absolutely had a flashback to when Sienna was filming Factory Girl in Pittsburgh and she referred to the city as ?Sh-tsburgh? in an interview and the people in Pittsburgh were so mad that Sienna actually had to make some kind of, like, hostage video apology with the mayor of Pittsburgh. Sure, it was publicity for the film, but I?m not sure it was GOOD publicity. But that was honestly what everything was like back then. Sienna was rude in an interview, and it gets blown up into a huge thing and suddenly no one is really talking about the film. As for Sienna relating to Britney Spears? it?s crazy that Sienna?s story was playing out in the exact same timeline as Britney?s. And it was a fked up moment to be a famous blonde with personal drama. Last thing: Sienna didn?t invent boho chic, she only popularized it, for the love of God. That was Goop-esque.

| Page Six: Brad Pitt was given more custody of the kids in Judge Ouderkirk's ruling | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The Associated Press reported yesterday that Angelina Jolie?s divorce attorneys have expressed their displeasure and concerns about Judge John Ouderkirk, the private judge Pitt and Jolie hired four years ago to oversee their divorce proceedings. Jolie has been unhappy with Ouderkirk before last year, she tried to get him thrown off the case because he failed to disclose his long-standing financial entanglement with Pitt?s lawyers. Ouderkirk refused to recuse himself. For months, Ouderkirk has heard testimony from experts and specialists about the issue of custody for the minor Jolie-Pitt children. I believe Pitt thinks Maddox and Pax are a lost cause Maddox is 19 years old and Pax is 17. But the other Jolie-Pitt kids are young enough for there to be a formal custody agreement, so that was being worked out. The problem, according to Jolie and her lawyers, was that Ouderkirk didn?t allow the kids to testify and that he refused to allow evidence pertinent to her case. Well, big surprise, I guess. Brad ran to Page Six to crow about how he ?won? the custody case:
Brad Pitt has been granted joint custody of his children with Angelina Jolie following a lengthy court battle, Page Six has learned. The Oscar winner, 57, has been fighting Jolie, 46, through the courts for nearly five years for equal rights to their six kids. Judge John Ouderkirk, the private judge hired by the former couple to oversee the case, made his thoughts clear in a lengthy recent ruling, we understand, after months of witness testimony, including child services professionals who interviewed the Jolie-Pitt children and others who have been around the family.
A source with knowledge of the case told Page Six: ?There was a significant change made in the custody agreements based on an extremely detailed decision made by the judge. Brad was just trying to have more time with his kids ? and it has been clear that Angie has done everything possible to prevent this.?
?This trial lasted for several months and there were a f?k ton of witnesses, experts, therapists and other people who have been with the kids and around them, and the decision was based on this,? the source added.
Another Source close to the issue said it was a ?tentative decision,? adding that Jolie is continuing her legal fight. ?Joint custody is not the issue that Angelina objects to, there were other issues of concern, but the court proceedings are closed and sealed,? the source said.
Page Six has seen one court filing label, which reads: ?Offer of Proof and authority in support thereof RE: testimony regarding domestic violence.? The documents are sealed, so we?re unable to see what evidence may lie there. The source close to the issue added: ?There was a safety order surrounding the previous custody arrangements, that is public, and the kids schedule has been set under the jurisdiction of the division of family services for over three years.?
?Judge Ouderkirk denied Ms. Jolie a fair trial, improperly excluding her evidence relevant to the children?s health, safety, and welfare, evidence critical to making her case,? according to the filing in California?s Second District Court of Appeal.
[From Page Six]
My guess? Angelina knew that information about Ouderkirk?s ruling was about to come out so her lawyers went to the Associated Press with the story about how Ouderkirk was not an impartial jurist. Which I believe, honestly. I think Ouderkirk really screwed over Jolie and the kids. I also think Brad was way too quick to run to Page Six to claim that he won and he successfully screwed over Jolie. Which was the point of all of Pitt?s bullsh-t for the past five years he was mad at Angelina and he wanted to punish her for leaving him.
People Magazine didn?t run solely with Team Pitt?s side of the story, they merely wrote that Ouderkirk ?tentatively awarded Pitt more custody over the former couples five minor children? but they noted: ?its unclear if the decision is legally binding as another source says nothing has yet to change in terms of official custody.? A source told People that at the trial ?the childrens voices were heard, but they just didnt testify themselves.? Which, again, is strange because a California statute says that ?any child at least 14 years of age should be allowed to weigh in and state custodial preference, making Pax, Zahara and Shiloh eligible to testify.?
Jolie?s lawyers filed their complaint with Californias Second District Court of Appeal over ?Ouderkirks ruling and continuing purview over the case.?

| Ariana Grande reveals her Vera Wang wedding gown: classic, simple & lovely? | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Ariana Grande married Dalton Gomez two weekends ago at their home in Montecito. At the time, Ariana and her people merely confirmed the news to People Magazine and other outlets, and we didn?t even have one wedding portrait to use. I hoped that Ariana would eventually post some photos on her Instagram, and she did. But because she?s Ari, it?s a bit complicated! Vogue Magazine claims they have the exclusive on Ari?s wedding, but Ari just went ahead and posted a dozen of the photos on her IG anyway. It kind of works, and I?m not mad about it. It?s her wedding, if she wants the people to see the photos without going to Vogue, that?s her right. She did give Vogue an exclusive on some of the wedding details though. You can see Vogue?s piece here. Some highlights:
Vera Wang had promised to do Ariana?s wedding gown: At the Met Gala a few years ago, Ariana and Vera had made a very important pact: On fashion?s biggest night, Vera promised that when the time came, she would create Ariana?s wedding day look?and the iconic designer delivered.
The gown: A custom lily-white silk charmeuse empire waist column gown accented with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra strap closure, and a plunging back. The dress was accessorized with a shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a sweet satin bow at the very top. Altogether, the ensemble, styled to perfection by Mimi Cuttrell, was reminiscent of the look Jo Stockton so famously wore in Funny Face. The bride also wore custom Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels.
The earrings: Pearl and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz were chosen to match the bride?s engagement ring?with one upside-down (a nod to her aesthetic that started during the ?Sweetener? era) and the other right side up. The meaning behind this is significant to Ariana, as it represents appreciating the lowest or the ?upside down? moments in her life and how they have contributed to where and who she is now.
Styling: Her polished half-up hair and soft curls were the work of Josh Liu, and her natural makeup, with sculpted brows and a pretty winged liner, were done by Ash K Holm.
They said their vows in a room lit by candlelight: Ariana?s mother, Joan Grande, gave her away, although in real life she did so alongside Arianas father, Ed Butera, which was a personal high point and one of the most special moments for the bride.
[From Vogue]
It was smart for Ariana to aim for Audrey Hepburn rather than Cinderella-at-the-ball, you know? Ari?s style can sometimes go over-the-top, princess-in-a-ball-gown. I?m glad she went simpler, classic, old-school. The ?Audrey Hepburn? vibe works on Ari because she is so small and simpler styles look really good on her. Now, do I think her dress was the best thing ever? Not really, but she looked pretty and you can tell that she loved her dress. The veil suited her too.

| Jennie Garth: 90210 taught me to be competitive with other women | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling have a podcast called 9021OMG. Jennie and Tori, of course, met on Beverly Hills 90210 back in the 90s when they were cast as Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin. The two ladies have remained friends, even attempting a few non-90210 projects together. But according to Jennie?s comments on the podcast, the fact that she and Tori formed and kept a friendship is quite a feat because the show bred competition among the women. Jennie said that competitiveness with other women was something with which she struggled for a long time after the show.
Jennie Garth has admitted she struggled with her competitive attitude towards other women for many years due to her time on Beverly Hills, 90210.
A lot of what happened on that set shaped us in all directions, Garth, 49, said on Mondays episode of her and costar Tori Spellings 9021OMG podcast.
But I think as a young girl? [the show] brought out a super competitive part of me being in that environment of being judged because of my looks or how I looked in an outfit, added Garth, who played Kelly Taylor on the hit 90s teen drama.
She continued, It was just a different day and age and it gave us young girls a lot of mixed messages. I, for many years, struggled with [it].
If Im honest, I think [the show] kind of taught me to be threatened by other girls be threatened by other women [and] be more competitive because I wanted our costars approval or attention, she said.
The effects stayed with Garth, who went on to reprise her character on the spinoff 90210 and the reboot BH 90210.
It messed with me on a deeper level and not until later in life that I kind of think it wasnt ever about the other girls, Garth reflected. And why did I ever make the other girls an enemy in my mind?
[From People]
I did not watch a lot of Beverly Hills 90210 when it was on. That?s only because I was bartending to pay for college, so my schedule didn?t allow for much evening TV. I caught a few of the early episodes, the ones in which the Minnesota Walsh family were the comparisons against the Southern Californian families of privilege. Going purely off memory, I felt like they addressed female competitiveness on the show, so it?s disheartening to hear they actively encouraged it when the cameras stopped rolling. I remember the discussions in the media surrounding the cast ? who?s the hottest, the actresses weight, etc. And each actress in the cast was assigned a role by the media as well: Tori was the nepotism hire that would never live up to the job. Shannen Doherty was the Difficult One. Gabrielle Carteris was The Lucky One, because she was hired to be smart, not pretty. And poor Jennie was the Hot One. I say poor Jennie because every successive attractive actress hired was compared to her so of course she would see her co-stars as threats and not allies. I can?t imagine having her husband turn out to be a serial cheater did anything to help heal her need to compete.
But it sounds like she did heal and good for her. I think Jennie is on to something when she said, ?It was just a different day and age and it gave us young girls a lot of mixed messages.? Jennie is just a couple years younger than me. I, too, distrusted women for most of my life. I definitely competed with them whether they knew it or not. And I have no idea where that came from. I blamed certain people for years, but I think they were just existing with the same mixed messages that Jennie and the rest of us were. I hate to admit it, but it took having a daughter for me to see my dysfunction with women. But I am so grateful I finally did because having women in my life now is absolutely amazing.
