Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in Woodland Hills on Friday. She was filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians with her family. While I think Kim looks remarkably conservative here, I?d also like to give her a spot of advice: you can?t hide anything in satin. Satin will reveal your every bump and lump and Spanx. This skirt does a disservice to Kim and her weight loss efforts, I?m just saying. Oh, and look at Kim?s profile ? her nose looks super-jacked, right? How many different noses has she had? Good God.
Meanwhile, Kim also went to the BlogHer 16 conference in LA on Friday. She basically did a Q&A session with SheKnows? Elisa Camahort Page. Kim ended up talking about a lot of different stuff, and E! compiled a long list of her comments ? go here to read. Some highlights:
On rumors that giving birth to Saint was a publicity stunt: “So truly, I was not posting about my son because I wanted him to be able to go to the park every single day like a normal human being and nobody knows who he is… He’s eight months old now, and people thought he didn’t exist. People thought I had a whole fake baby and I made this whole thing up because I wasn’t posting about it. And to me, that’s so ridiculous.”
On what she’s learned from Kanye West: “We do have a really private relationship. He’s very private even though he’s in the business and I’m very open, so he’s really taught me how to become a little bit more private and I’ve taught him about how to be a little bit more open. It really works for us. So I definitely save that part of my home life and my life with my kids I try to hold on to.”
On being a feminist: “Everyone always says, are you a feminist? I don’t think that I am. I don’t like labels. I do what makes me happy and I want women to be confident. I am so supportive of women. I love nothing more than when I’m with all my friends and I love to support women but I’m not a ‘free the nipple-type” of girl. If you’re not comfortable with that, don’t do it! I’m not about the labels. Just be you and be confident in you.”
On why she’s so open about her body: “Because I feel good about myself! I mean, after you have a kid and now after you have two kids there is a feeling. I mean, I lost 70 pounds. So when you dedicate yourself getting up every morning, wake up at six in the morning, feeding one baby, get to go work out for an hour, coming back, feeding another baby, my husband, and then come back? I’m like, ‘I have three people I have to take care of!’ You can just get so caught up in not wanting to be motivated. So I made it a really important thing for my confidence and for me to feel good. Have I posted a new selfie since I lost all my baby weight? I don’t think so!”
On paying attention to her haters: “If you were to ask me this question a few years ago, I would definitely have a different answer. I used to care about all of the comments… I think as you get older you just mature…. I have my family. I have my kids. I don’t need to sit at home and I don’t really have the extra time to look at comments. I know that the hate is out there. When I post something, whether it’s a nude selfie or something, I don’t post it just to get a reaction. I post it because I like the photo. It could be really something simple, so I’m not really looking at what the comments are.”
On being underestimated: “If I don’t sing and I don’t dance but still doing what I’m doing, how easy is my job? I don’t have to do any of that. I don’t have to be on stage like you working so hard but we’re still driving the same car! We’re still living the same life! I don’t mind getting underestimated but I feel for people that, I understand how it could bother them if they were in the same situation? I just love to prove people wrong.”
On her support of gun control: “I am just terrified of everything. I am so paranoid, so afraid… It’s such high anxiety. I’ve never had it but there’s something when you have two kids, you just, I don’t know. So yes, I’ve definitely become more aware. I’ve definitely spoken out more as far as definitely gun control. I just want to be super protective of my kids so I have felt that need.”

?Everyone always says, are you a feminist? I don’t think that I am.? Well, a lot of people agree with her? That was why everyone yelled at her this past spring, when she spoke about feeling empowered by celebrating her body and taking nude selfies. I defended her on feminist grounds, because I fundamentally believe that it?s her body, her choice about ALL things. So I?m disappointed that Kim can?t go the distance and just say ?of course I?m a feminist, feminism is about equality and every woman making her own choices.? Why can?t certain women go to that place? Why do they have to talk around it and say all of these feminist words and then reject the label?
And the ?Saint was a fake baby? thing was always stupid. Of course her pregnancy was real and Saint is a real baby! As if to prove the point, Kim tweeted this absolutely adorable video of Saint laughing this weekend. So cute!

The current issue of Star Magazine has an exclusive: a series of photos in which Egor Tarabasov assaults Lindsay Lohan. The assault took place weeks ago, when they were vacationing in Mykonos for Lindsay?s 30th birthday. We already heard reports that they Mykonos trip was violent, and that at point Lindsay threw Egor?s phone into the sea and Egor threw a drink onto Lindsay. At some point in July, Egor and Lindsay returned back to London, after which she accused him of assaulting her and trying to kill her? after she threw a massive fit on her social media, accusing him of cheating on her with a ?Russian hooker.?
Following Star Magazine?s publication of the Mykonos assault photos, the Daily Mail also bought the photos and published them in this weekend?s issue. The Mail also sent Katie Nicholl to Sardinia to interview Lindsay face-to-face about Egor?s abuse. You can see the NSFW-ish photos and read the full piece here. Some quotes from Lindsay:
Her relationship with Egor is over now: ?I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry.?
The Mykonos assault: Lohan is reluctant to go into detail about the fight in Mykonos, saying only that she threw Egor’s phone after he took hers. ‘Egor drank too much and he went crazy.’
The London assault: ‘Egor and I had been out for dinner. We danced, it was fun. When we got home I went to bed and Egor went out. A few hours later he came back and when I woke up he was standing over me. He wasn’t himself, he was being very aggressive and he attacked me.’
Why she?s speaking now: ?I wanted to do this interview because it’s time to tell the truth. There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself. It’s not the first time. That’s the problem. But this time, someone saw. I didn’t call anyone, I’ve dealt with enough police in LA. I just left the house and went to the Connaught [Hotel] for the night. I contacted my good friend [Israeli socialite] Hofit Golan who was in St Tropez. She said, ‘Get on a plane, come and meet me,’ so I did. I needed some time for myself. I’ve spent the past week fishing on my friend Marco Mavilla’s yacht with his lovely family in Sardinia. I’ve been meditating and swimming in the ocean and listening to George Michael’s song, Faith. The lyrics are very apt.’
She?s still wearing her engagement ring: ?I haven’t taken it off, even after all this. The truth is, I wanted to make things work, but now I’m not sure that I can.’ She says that in recent days, she has contacted him to ask him to meet, to talk. Clearly, however, she holds out little hope of a reconciliation at this stage. ‘I need closure,’ she says. ‘I genuinely fell in love with him but he broke my trust and made me feel unsafe. I know I’m not an angel but I’ve tried to fix things. It’s down to him now. I had suggested we go for couples’ counselling but there comes a time when I have to put myself first, my family, and also think about my career which I’ve worked so hard for. I also don’t want to let my fans down by not being the strong woman I have become.’

I believe Egor assaulted Lindsay. The photo evidence (and the video, below) speaks for itself. We can believe that Lindsay is a victim of abuse and we can also believe that she?s lying about some other stuff too. In London, she didn?t return to her apartment and go to bed. She threw a hissy fit on social media, accusing Egor of cheating and trying to harangue him into coming back to her apartment by calling up press outlets to give them updates on their fight. When you watch the video of the Mykonos assault, you can see that the incident started when Lindsay threw Egor?s phone out of their Jeep, and that Egor grabbed Lindsay in an attempt to get her to let go of his phone. Lindsay is a victim, 100%. But she’s lying about some other stuff.

Nicole Richie, 34, has been with Joel Madden for ten years (they’ve been married for six) and they have two children together, daughter Harlow, eight and a half, and son Sparrow, seven. She has a new video interview with People Magazine, I think to promote her husband’s reunion tour with his band, Good Charlotte, because that’s the only project they mention. It was funny to hear her say her children’s names out loud, since they’re not typical names I’ll just say that. People’s interview focuses on Richie’s home life and thoughts on parenthood. Unlike a lot of her celebrity mom contemporaries (see: Jennifer Garner, Gwyneth Paltrow, et al), Richie does not take a stand in the mommy wars. She’s not trying to say you shouldn’t feed your kids non-organic food or that motherhood is the pinnacle of her life. Richie sees her friends take different approaches to parenting and says that they all get along fine and no one judges each other.
How do you promote your kids’ style?
I do not dress my kids, they dress themselves. Sparrow is a boy so he does his own thing. He likes to wear all black like his dad. My daughter has very much her own style. It’s sometimes like mine… she’s a little sportier and she likes to experiment with different looks. I’m totally fine with that. I don’t want to be over her controlling what she looks like. Ultimately that is up to her
What is the most important thing a parent has taught you?
I’m so lucky I have such great mom friends. I had kids very young so I only knew two people that had kids. They are best friends. They parent like opposite. It was really so refreshing to see two women that have such different parenting styles maintain a friendship and not judge each other.
There’s not one way to raise children. There’s not one way to be a mother. It really depends on your house and your lifestyle. I guess the biggest lesson that I learned is to not judge and to be open and honest with other women. That really helps them to relax and know that they’re not alone.

Richie was 26 when she had her kids, which is the average for first time mothers in the US and isn’t particularly young, but I could see how it would seem to be when most of your friends are childless. (None of my friends were having kids that young either.) You know who has said something similar about judgy moms? Jessica Alba, surprisingly. Last year she said that it feels “like the mean girl thing from high school sort of just transforms into adulthood through motherhood.” Richie is focusing on the positive she sees in her friends with different parenting styles. I imagine that there’s a lot of mommy judging going on among that crowd, where women have more resources and time to devote to it. Many other moms are just trying to get by.
Richie doesn’t post many photos or videos of her kids but I found this dubsmash video she posted for Father’s Day with Joel and their kids last year.
