Both in good spirits, the ?Almost Famous? babe and her ?Priest? hubby fielded questions at the Apple Store in SoHo to plug the new season of ?True Blood.?
Viewers were shocked when Anna?s character Sookie?s love interest Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello, was killed off earlier this season.
Mr. Manganiello told press, ?I called it as soon as [Sookie and Alcide] got together [in the Season 6 finale]. As soon as I read that they were together, the first thing I thought was, ?They're going to kill him?... As soon as that happened, I went, ?Aw man, this is not going to last long.??

Kicking off her day with some media duties, Heidi Klum showed up at Rockefeller Plaza for an appearance on the ?Today? show on Tuesday morning (July 15).
The gorgeous German supermodel was in the house to plug the forthcoming season of ?Project Runway? along with her partner in crime Tim Gunn.
After the interview, Klum tweeted, ?Making it work @projectrunway style with the @todayshow gang and @timgunn!? along with a silly group photo.
Additionally, Heidi and Tim appear in a brand new promo poster for ?Project Runway,? and Klum appears to only be wearing some strategically staggered hangers as a makeshift dress. The news season kicks off July 24th.

The meltdown of the Ryan Gosling?s Hey Girls last week was both funny and frightening. It was funny because so many ladies still love Gosling?s hipster normcore shtick and there was genuine panic that he impregnated his girlfriend of what? Four years? The frightening part was that Eva Mendes got a lot of hate. While I think there is something (literally!) fishy about all of this, I want to believe that Ryan isn?t douching out on Eva and that this isn?t a band-aid baby. Us Weekly says that it?s not a band-aid baby. Their sources say Ryan is taking care of his lady:
File this under “More Reasons to Love Ryan Gosling.” The Only God Forgives actor, who’s expecting a baby with actress Eva Mendes, has taken on the job of personal chef for his pregnant girlfriend, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“Ryan goes out and gets the groceries,” the insider tells Us of the Notebook hunk. “[Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he’s cooking her meals.” Adds the source: “Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be.”
As previously reported, Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, are set to welcome their first child together in just a few months’ time. They clicked on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines back in 2011 — the same year, incidentally, that the actor expressed his desire to start a family.
“I’d like to be making babies but I’m not, so I’m making movies,” he told the U.K.-based paper The Times that September. “When someone comes along, I don’t think I’ll be able to do both and I’m fine with that. I’ll make movies until I make babies.”

Well, well, well. You know how LeAnn Rimes sometimes has to channel her, uh, ?extra energy? into undercover social media tools? Anna Kendrick really is one of those fabled “triple threats.” She can act, she can sing, and she’s attractive. Anna was so good in Up In the Air (she got an Oscar nom for that role), and I watched her in Drinking Buddies last weekend. That was a weird movie where they didn’t have a script. The actors just made up their lines every day. Anna just filmed another scriptless movie, Happy Christmas. She has six movies coming out this year and is currently working on Pitch Perfect 2.
Anna seems very aware of her place in Hollywood. She has a legion of devoted fans but will never be a big marquee name. She’s also an underrated beauty who doesn’t grab too much attention from the Maxim crowd, and she likes it that way. Anna says she’s very happy about not living with the pressure to make the “most beautiful” and “hot” lists. Glamour talked with her in a breezy little featurette:
On juggling her various projects: “It?s really fun. It?s like eating Cheerios every morning and then switching to Froot Loops. It?s exciting to eat Froot Loops!”
On Pitch Perfect 2: “We didn?t get the finale music till last night, so we?re all a little panicked. But—it?ll be great, right?”
Not relying on her looks: “The thing is, my appearance–that?s never been my moneymaker. I?m fine being small. I?m fine being all the things I am. And I?m happy I?m not supposed to be on the 50 Most Beautiful list all the time, because that would be super f–king stressful.”
The difficulty of fame: “Sometimes I just want to wear the same outfit for three days in a row. And I kind of can?t.”
Dressing for her body type: “Well, in sample sizes, the dresses can be hemmed, but I can?t wear pants. Every time a stylist tries to put me in, like, a chic pantsuit, I?m like, ‘This isn?t gonna work. It?s going to look like a diaper. I know you think that you can do it; I promise you, you can?t.’ So I appreciate stores that have petites sections.”

Anna has a healthy attitude towards beauty standards. She’s very pretty but far more “cute” than Maxim babe. Let’s get real though — if Anna wasn’t attractive at all, she wouldn’t have captured her zillion roles. I have a feeling that she knows this already. Anna’s talent will always keep her afloat, but being really cute didn’t hurt her career prospects at all.

As we discussed yesterday, Kim Kardashian?s iOS game is a HUGE hit. Like, it?s one of the biggest hits of the year and it?s already raking in hundreds of millions of dollars. The gaming company, Glu Mobile, has seen a steady increase in its stock price. People are addicted to the game like crack. So, how much of the profits will Kim see? A LOT. She?ll see more from this game than all of her other projects combined.
Kim Kardashian stands to make around $85 MILLION from the new video game iPhone app that boasts her namesake … more than she made last year in all of her other ventures combined … TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the deal tell TMZ … Kim’s cut is 45% of net profits. The game — “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” — is set to gross a reported $200 million this year alone.
We’re told the actual expenses associated with the business are relatively low. A straight 45% cut of $200 million totals a whopping $90 million. Industry sources tell TMZ … expenses would not exceed $10 million.
So … we’re no mathematicians, but 45% of $190 million is $85.5 MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS. To put this in context … according to Forbes, Kim made $28 million last year.
As you know … the game is all about becoming a virtual celebrity, but it costs real money to buy your way to the top. Now the bad news for Kim. We’re told she has to pay her agent, Uncle Sam and, of course, Kris.

Everybody always talks about the new tech bubble and how it will burst in the next year or two years, but I don?t know? I?m not sure if this shiz really is a ?bubble?. I think it?s the new normal. During her term, Kardashian received tons of criticism for her weight gain, leading her to later tell press she thinks preggers women might benefit from staying out of the limelight. "I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style. That's what I recommend. If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house."

Basically, J by Aniston and Aniston: The Perfume are pretty similar. They both smell beachy and fresh and floral and musky. I was with Jennifer?s choices of waterlily, magnolia and even sandalwood, but I was out with ?vanilla bourbon.? I loathe vanilla-scents, vanilla top notes and everything in the vanilla perfume family.
From what I can see of the pricing for this perfume, it?s about on target with other celebrity brands. Maybe a little more expensive than Britney?s perfumes, but a little less expensive than Jennifer Lopez?s. Incidentally, I?ve become a recent convert to J.Lo?s Glow. I love that perfume ? it?s so soft and feminine, it?s never overpowering and it?s such a great, light summer perfume.

These photos are replays of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel in LA last week for the S*x Tape premiere where Cameron wore a surprisingly cool Stella McCartney jumpsuit. This story is all about the NYC premiere where Cameron wore a frumpy Vionnet dress. Cameron and Jason both whipped out their bitches for the fans in NYC. Cameron is no stranger to snubbing the masses. She’s known as one of the worst celebrity autograph signers, and she’ll refuse and lecture any fan about how “dumb” autographs are. Cami hasn’t changed a bit. She upset some fans in NYC, and Segel joined her in bad attitude solidarity:
Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel dazzled on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of their flick S*x Tape, but off the carpet the pair was a flop with fans, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
According to several eyewitnesses, fans were shocked at how “awful” Diaz, 41, and Segel, 34, were to their admirers at the Regal Union Square Theater on Monday when approached for photos and autographs.
“It’s not like the fans were following them at a hotel or restaurant, it was a film premiere with fans,” one eyewitness told Radar. “Both of their attitudes were disgusting.”
After waiting hours for a chance at meeting the movie stars, the fans were ignored — and even “lectured” by Diaz, as one fan put it.
“When a 20-something fan asked Jason for a photo as he left the premiere he said, ‘No’ and literally slammed the car door right in the fan?s face. People gasped, that?s how bad it was,” the source said.
“And when Cameron was spotted, she also refused the fans telling them, ‘If I did it for you I?d have have to do it for everyone’ before storming off.”
Although Segel attended the after-party, fans spotted both he and Diaz jetting from the theater before the movie even started.
“Cameron was as unfriendly as can be and it was really disappointing. And Jason was downright nasty to his fans,” another insider told Radar.
“There were literally only four of five fans waiting and asking for them when they left. It was not a huge crowd and would have taken less time for them to sign an autograph or take a picture rather than giving a lecture about not doing it.”

I do expect this behavior from Cameron since she has a reputation for telling off fans. That’s not an excuse, by the way. Her attitude towards the people who watch her movies is completely rude. The least a movie star can do is work the red carpet. Take a few selfies and sign some photos. The autographs might end up on eBay (witness John Malkovich asking, “Anybody here not a professional collector?” in this video), but that’s beside the point. Actors should be gracious on the red carpet. Cami and Jason weren’t being pursued by paps and legions of unsolicited fans. They were doing their job at a premiere.
Cameron visited Jimmy Fallon last night. She was his first guest when he took over Late Night for Conan O’Brien many years ago. Cam and Jimmy raced around on inflatabled rafts. You can read more about her appearance here.

Sharon Stone admits she’s a little worried about taking her upcoming vacation.

Well, that?s a god attitude to take. I guess? I feel like Sharon probably has a more European sensibility towards the whole beachwear thing ? like, in Europe, no one cares if you?re out of shape and in a bikini. No one judges. At least that?s my perception of it as a gauche American.
Sharon goes on to describe her ?old lady workouts? with E!, saying that she works out ?like a savage? at the gym when she feels like it, and then swims in her pool with those pool noodles. Sigh? I wish a pool. Damn it.

I like that Kristen Wiig is getting magazine covers these days. Too often, professional comediennes are not thought of as ?stylish? enough to make the major fashion covers. That being said? I have some weird feelings about Kristen. I like her, I think she?s very talented, and I support her career as much as possible. But I also feel like Kristen really wants to be seen as a Fashion Girl, Real Actress and Comedienne? in that order. And it doesn?t really work out. I end up feeling sorry for her (irrationally) because I feel like she tries too hard to be something she?s not. She?s not Charlize Theron ? Wiig is never going to rock a Dior gown and look like a fierce fashion bitch. But that?s what SHE wants. And I wonder why Oscar-nominated screenwriter and talented comedienne isn’t good enough for her.
I was reminded of my mixed feelings as I looked through this Elle editorial (shot at Grey Gardens) and cover. The cover is horrible. It?s like they blended her face with Olivia Wilde. The inside photos are very try-hard too and it just feels like? it?s off-brand. This isn?t who Wiig really is. This is who she?s trying to be. Being categorized: ?It?s not necessarily a bad thing. You have to have some sort of context for a person to register in your brain, and I was introduced to the world as a cast member of SNL. But I?ve always wanted to do dramatic stuff, to write and direct, do a lot of different things. Comedy is where my heart lies, but there?s also something really satisfying about being able to step away with a small crew, become a character and get to know her for a few months at a time.?
Her upcoming lead role in Welcome to Me: She plays a woman with borderline personality disorder who wins the lottery, quits her meds, and starts a TV talk show. ?I?d never read a character like that. I got to a scene where it read, ?She?s fully naked,? and I remember thinking: If I do this movie, I have to do this scene, because it?s really important to this script.?

See what I mean? Kristen wants to be all things. And I guess? good for her. Good for her for stretching herself and stepping outside of comedy box and for moving out of her comfort zone. Eh. Are you just dying to see Kristen in a bunch of dramatic roles? I?m not. It?s like Jim Carrey ? he?s a decent dramatic actor but why fight his natural comedic talents? Kristen is hilarious, but she wants to be more than that.

These are photos of Kate Hudson at the NYC premiere of Wish I Was Here, which is Zach Braff’s Kickstarter-funded dramedy. You can see the trailer here. The film does feature Jim Parsons, which is always a plus. This is definitely a Zach Braff production with plenty of dreamy music, hazy lighting, and inspirational sayings floating through the trailer. There’s a Pink wig reminiscient of manic pixie dream girl greatness. Never mind that the man who coined the MPDG apologized a few days ago for his creation.
Kate is working her post-baby body at this premiere. I don’t usually enjoy scrutinizing women’s figures post birth (or at all), but Kate has already opened the topic for discussion. She’s co-founder of the Fabletics clothing company and works out six hours a day (versus dieting). Kate wants us to talk about her body, and no wonder! Her bod looks fantastic. This Michael Kors resort gown isn’t amazing, but we can see Kate’s midriff shining through. Eye on the prize. Here are some new excerpts from a Parade interview:
The scene where her character talks with a dying family member: “That was an intense day. You can?t help but think about that moment in your real life. You never want to look back and [feel you missed] that connection.”
She’s doing more indie films: “Yeah, the bigger films haven?t really spoken to me. But people like to see me in comedies, which I love, and I do want to make more comedies [for women] that aren?t dumbed down.”
Her musical children “It might be in our DNA. Bing [age 3] has been musical since he was born. And Ryder [her 10-year-old with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes] always finds the new bands; he goes, ‘Mom, check this out!’ and the next thing you know it?s a No. 1 hit. For me, it?s a passion; when you love to sing, it doesn?t matter what you sound like–it just makes you feel good! It?s the universal language, isn?t it?”

Kate has been focusing on indie movies for the past year. She already made her money in studio romcoms, and now she wants to prove herself as an actress. Remember when Kate was nominated for an Oscar after Almost Famous? She wants to achieve that greatness again, and I can’t blame her. But she cannot disown My Best Friend’s Girl, Fool’s Gold, and Bride Wars.
I’m including some photos of Ashley Greene and Joey King. Ashley is wearing a dull Alexander McQueen dress with no pizazz. Joey looks amazing in a retro-inspired Moods of Norway dress. She’s only 14, but her dress is both age appropriate and very glamorous.

Sheryl Crow covers the August issue of Good Housekeeping. Every time I cover a Sheryl story, I re-google her age and am amazed all over again. Sheryl is now 52 and looks both fantastic and real. This interview takes place at Sheryl’s 50-acre ranch near Nashville. She’s got both of her sons, Wyatt (7) and Levi (4), in tow. Sheryl talks about several topics in this feature. She talks about her benign brain tumor as a wake-up call. She alludes to her famous ex-boyfriends, which include Lance Armstrong, Owen Wilson, and Eric Clapton. Somehow I missed her liason with Owen over the years. I very much remember Sheryl catching heat for Lance Armstrong’s actions. Sheryl is simply grateful that she never married any of these chumps. Good point:
On battling cancer: “Something happens when you’re diagnosed with a disease. Your emotions start racing, and clarity is reached.”
The glamour of parenting: “I’ve become a glorified taxi driver.” Though she has a nanny and her sister Kathy helps out, Crow is a hands-on mom who takes the boys shopping at Target, drives them to Sunday school and swimming and tennis lessons and helps care for their pet guinea pigs.
Put your clothes back on, pop stars: “It’s hard to be a woman in music today. There’s so much sex that’s projected, and that’s a bummer. These singers talk about how empowering it is, but a good musician who can command the stage doesn’t have to rely on sex to sell her music.”
Her ex-boyfriends: “I had always gone out with guys who were highly successful, which would seem like it would put me at an equal level. But what ends up happening is that one of you becomes smaller — and it was always me. It’s always the woman. I mean, I don’t know if it’s always the woman, but I do think that sometimes in order for one person’s light to shine, everyone else has to dim theirs.”
Her newer relationships are different: “Embrace the idea of only having equals in your life, and you’ll see your relationships change. I’d made a pact with myself that my kids would know anybody I was involved with as a friend first. They weren’t gonna wake up and find somebody sleeping in their house or feel abandoned because the relationship fell apart. You can still love and respect someone, even when you’re mad at them or disagree with them. And you can celebrate the good things happening for them, even when those things are not happening for you.”
Her love life in perspective: “I’ve been set up before. It’s funny — my guy friends will tell me, ‘I don’t know anyone good enough for you.’ And I keep saying, ‘Lower your standards!’ Hey, I would love to get married — I’m still old-fashioned. But I don’t think marriage is the be-all and end-all. It’s better to have three broken engagements than three divorces.”

I haven’t kept up with much of Sheryl’s music since the late 1990s, but I’ve always admired her personally. She seems very strong but her “picker” hasn’t been very reliable when it comes to men. Her three famous exes have all battled some form of substance abuse problem. Sheryl is absolutely correct about three broken engagements being worse than three marriages. Who would want that trouble in their lives besides Kim Kardashian?

?Sources? keep saying that Blake Lively is going to launch her much-discussed website next week. The 23rd, to be exact. Apparently, Blake has been working on the site for two years, which is just kind of funny. I mean? two years? Is she coding it all by herself?! Is she doing everything single thing by hand? Does this site involve an artisanal abacus? Well? yeah, it probably does. We already heard, last week, that Blake?s site will involve ?curated fashionable items.? Now we at least know what the site will be called: Goop Junior. Blake?s Original Curated Nose. I Banged Leo DiCaprio And All I Got Was This Site. Preserve. It?s called Preserve.
Blake Lively fans prepare to get giddy because the lifestyle website that she’s been teasing us with for the last year is finally here. OK, not here at this exact moment but it’s happening very soon? As in next week!
According to the source who also confirmed the launch date, the name of the actress’ secret project will be “Preserve.”
So what can we expect? The insider tells E! News: “Preserve will focus on artisans and products, many hand-made one-of-a-kind items all selected by Blake. Items will be available for purchase through the site. Preserve is all about story-telling through video. Blake will be in some of these videos.”

I feel like Generation X started this whole ?naming companies something random? thing and then Generation Y came in and took that sh-t next level. I?m sure there will be a biochemical firm named HUSK soon. Maybe a social media platform named EGGPLANT. Or an environmental advocacy group called WRENCH. So, Blake is launching Preserve. Preserve.com? Preserve the online shop selling one-of-a-kind items handmade by Blake?s merry band of artisans? Lord. Someone give Blake a job. Please.

Rose McGowan, 40, has had plastic surgery to the point where she looks like a different person. She’s always said that she had surgery to correct damage from a car accident in 2007 during which she was slashed under her eye when her sunglasses were smashed onto her face. Some people thought that story was fabricated, but even if it happened as she claimed it does look like she did more than just fix that injury. Did she injure her nose too?
Judging from the way McGowan responded to negative comments on Instagram, she’s pretty sensitive about her appearance and whatever it is she had done. She posted this strange selfie which she captioned “Afghanistan.” When people started comparing her to Michael Jackson she went off. I’ll quote US Magazine here because I don’t have the patience to read through tons of Instagram comments:
It all started when the Charmed actress posted a picture of herself wearing sunglasses, with the simple caption, “Afghanistan.” One commenter then wrote, “You look like Michael Jackson,” while another by the name @Katrinabunny commented: “#michaeljackson no more plastic surgery please!”
McGowan immediately replied to the user, writing, “@katrinabunny coming from, ummm, you.” The actress, who got reconstructive surgery after being in a car accident in 2007, went on to write: “Has anyone stopped to think that Michael Jackson used to be black, and tried to turn himself into a white, possibly Irish person with a cleft chin and a tiny nose? I was born Irish. So f–k off losers.”
While some commenters came to McGowan’s defense, the actress was still clearly upset. Wanting to make a point, she posted a side-by-side picture of Michael Jackson before and after his surgeries, with the caption: “Exactly. You dumb f–ks. Eat it.”

Users are now going off on McGowan for disrespecting Michael Jackson. My favorite comment comes from user mary_domino, who writes “she clearly does give plenty of fu*ks about us or she wouldn’t have posted this picture or commented to the fan who started this whole mess in the first place.” Exactly.
I don’t get why celebrities post preening selfies and then get all worked up when people make rude comments. Should people comment like that? No, of course not and I do think there should be more controls in place but that’s just how it is on some of these sites. Twitter and Instagram are free-for-alls. Post to just your friends on Facebook if you don’t want to get trolling comments. Even then there’s no guarantee that people aren’t going to be obnoxious. If you respond to them you’re just going to make it worse.

I saw this photos yesterday but? I don?t know, I guess I wasn?t in the mood to talk about Lindsay Lohan and how she got blitzed in Ischia, Italy for no real reason. She?s so wasted in these photos that I think the photographer got a contact high. She was so wasted, she was busted-ass falling-down at the part for The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby ? GO HERE to see those photos. I’m including a few in this post – according to Fame/Flynet, she was falling and flailing all over the place and then she got into an argument with a paparazzo. Classic Cracken.
Why did Lindsay even come to the Ischia Film Festival? It?s not like she has any films to promote (ha). It?s not like she?s getting an award (ha). It?s not like she wants to be a celebrity, right? That?s what she told the BBC ? she has moved to London because they treat her like she?s a real actress, a real artist. She?s not some celebrity who goes to the opening of an envelope. She?s not some international party girl who shows up to B-list events around Europe on the arm of shady sheiks and arms dealers. She?s an artist! An artist who gets fall-down drunk at film festivals. I bet she was so embarrassed she had to do a few lines in the bathroom.
So, congrats, England. Lindsay Lohan is your problem now. As an American, I truly apologize. It?s going to be a mess, I?m sure. And if you need to deport her? well, we?ll understand.
