Last year, Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in a lovely royal wedding at Windsor Castle. Meghan got to invite a lot of her friends and coworkers, so her side of the guest list was heavy on her Suits coworkers, and her celebrity friends like Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka got a lot of mileage and attention out of her newly revealed friendship with Meghan. Then Priyanka got suddenly engaged to Nick Jonas and they went on to have a million weddings, receptions, ceremonies and parties for what felt like three solid months. Meghan did not attend any of those events. Then Meghan came to New York about two weeks ago for five days of rest, relaxation and a baby shower, all with her best girlfriends. Priyanka was a no-show reportedly, Priyanka was invited, but she had begged off because she was ?working.? But now Page Six reports that Priyanka is actually mad at Meghan and that?s why she skipped Meg?s baby shower on purpose:
The friendship between Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle has hit a rough patch, an insider says. The two actresses were pals, and Priyanka was a guest at Meghan?s wedding to Prince Harry in May. But the Duchess of Sussex declined to attend Priyanka?s wedding to Nick Jonas in December.
?Priyanka was crushed,? said one source. That?s why, my sources say, the Bollywood star, known to Americans as the star of ABC?s ?Quantico,? declined to attend Markle?s baby shower last week at the Mark Hotel. Serena Williams and Amal Clooney co-hosted the shower, with attendees such as Gayle King. It was reported that Chopra was ?bogged down? in Los Angeles with meetings about a book she is writing, but sources believe the real reason is that Markle hurt her feelings by not coming to her wedding. (A source told Us Weekly that Markle didn?t attend Chopra?s wedding because of her pregnancy.)
?Their friendship is over unless Meghan apologizes,? said one source. ?Priyanka is a huge international star with a tremendous social media following. She is probably more famous worldwide than Meghan is. She feels Meghan didn?t respect her, and didn?t respect their friendship.?
A spokesperson for Chopra declined to comment, but a source close to the former Miss World told me, ?There are no issues between the two women. They are friends, and anything you?re being told otherwise is inaccurate and untrue.?

Priyanka?s SO MAD that Meghan is actually more famous now, and that Priyanka?s mad that post-wedding-extravaganza, she looks like a thirsty famewhore. I mean, when your friend becomes a duchess, of course she?s not going to be able to show up for all of your bulls-t, especially when it?s a series of tacky wedding stunts over the course of several months. I wouldn?t have showed up for that sh-t either, and I?m not a duchess. It will be interesting to see if Priyanka goes Full Thomas Markle and starts whining to TMZ and the Daily Mail about Meghan.

I know True Blood was trash the last few seasons, but I watched that entire series twice I loved it so much. It?s devastating that the actor who played Lafayette, Nelsan Ellis, passed away in 2017 at just 39. He was so talented and I loved his character. I also liked Sookie and Bill, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who are married in real life with two children, and of course Erik and Pam, Alex Skarsgard and Kristin Bauer. We know what Alex is doing and Kristin hasn?t hit it as big which is a shame, but she was on Once Upon a Time and is working steadily. I follow her on Instagram and she?s amazing. She?s an outspoken activist and she loves her pets.
That?s all to say that I would watch the hell out of a True Blood movie. Anna Paquin is in a new series where she plays a publicist fixer. It?s called Flack, it airs on Pop in the US, and I read a review on Pajiba that says it?s highly bingeable but that the dialogue is not natural. Supposedly they get the world of gossip and celebrity publicity right so I?m interested to watch it.
Anna was on Access Live promoting Flack when she was asked about whether a True Blood movie is happening. She said that it?s been 11 years (it hasn?t! It?s only been 4.5 years since the show ended) and that actors get old and can?t play ageless vampires so probably not.
Will there ever be a True Blood movie?
Probably not with the same cast. You know the thing with the vampires and theyre not supposed to age. Its been 11 years. I mean my husbands cute but hes not actually immortal.

Again, True Blood ended in mid 2014, not that long ago for fans or for the way these actors age. They still look awesome and there are still so many of us who would watch this. I really think it should happen and that Alan Ball should write it. Also, why the hell has Ball not written another original movie since American Beauty? That?s one of the best films of all time.
There may be another reason why we?re not getting a True Blood movie. A musical is in the works! This news came out last fall but I totally forgot about it. I get it, the show was campy and it lends itself to that, but I want to see all the actors together again on the big screen or even in an HBO or Netflix movie. I?ll take whatever I can get.

Reese Witherspoons daughter Ava Phillippe, 19, graduated from high school last summer and is currently at Stanford University studying English Literature. Weve seen her on the red carpet with her mom looking glamorous and poised. It turns out that shes an expert at makeup, like so many other teen girls. Reese told People Magazine that she often gets Ava to do her makeup for events and that by the age of 17 Ava knew how to do a perfect look. Reese has a new collaboration with Elizabeth Arden and thats why shes talking about makeup.
?I learn a lot from my daughter [about makeup],? says Witherspoon, revealing that Ava honed her skills by watching YouTube tutorials. ?Her understanding of how to apply it is so extensive.?
Witherspoon adds that Ava?s application techniques are especially solid when it comes to eyeshadow and highlighter.
?If I have to do my makeup for a dinner or something, I?ll be like, ?Ava, can you fix my eyeshadow? I can?t remember what goes in the crease,? because she has this intense knowledge about how to shade. It?s crazy.?
?She [also] taught me how to put highlighter on my brow bones and the top of my cheekbones. I really liked the way it looked, so now it?s just become part of my makeup routine.?
Witherspoon says her look-a-like daughter has been a pro of sorts for a couple of years. ?She knew how to do a beautiful red carpet look by the time she was 17 years old.?

I have a friend who doesnt wear makeup and who has talked about it like women who cant go out without it are insecure. (Not Kaiser!) She has a teenaged daughter who is always perfectly made up to the point where you want to ask her for tips. I know several friends who have teenage daughters who look amazing like that and they learned it on YouTube. Ive watched those same videos, Ive read makeup addiction, I have the high end products and I cant quite get it. I look much better with makeup and dont go out without it, but Im only 80% of the way there and need to improve. I have contouring sort-of right, but getting my eyeshadow blended and getting my eyebrows right is hard! (Ive bought Anastasia dip brow and watched tutorials but I end up using powdered eyebrow filler as I cant get the gel to look right.) Highlighting is easy for me though. I have liquid highlighter and just put a little line on my cheekbones and to the right side of my eyes.

Around this time last year, Ryan Seacrest was in ?crisis meetings? with E! executives about his insistence on hosting the 2018 E! Red Carpet show for the Oscars. The crisis was that his former assistant, Suzie Hardy, detailed the months of sexual harassment, groping and abuse she suffered because Seacrest felt entitled to her body, her time and everything else. Hardy?s story blew up just before the Oscars last year, and I believed her. I still believe her. And I don?t know what happened to that story. Months passed and it was like most people just forgot about it or wanted to forget about it. Gossip outlets and media outlets reverted to covering Seacrest the same as always, and he didn?t lose ANY work. And now, finally, he lost something: his girlfriend.
Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor have split, a source close to the couple confirms to PEOPLE.
?It was an amicable split and they?re still really close,? says the source of Seacrest, 44, and Taylor, 26, who had been dating for nearly three years.
?They still love and care about each other,? the source adds.
After meeting through friends in 2013, the pair soon began dating, and after an initial breakup in late 2014, they rekindled the romance.
?We had both matured,? Taylor told PEOPLE last fall.
When Seacrest was tapped to co-host Live With Kelly and Ryan in 2017, Taylor, a trained chef, moved to New York City from LA with him. ?We?re very in sync,? Seacrest told PEOPLE in November, adding that their cross-country move had been an ?adventure? they?ve both embraced.
