In the January issue of Allure, the “Ain’t It Funny” songstress tells, “I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department. You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids...you’re kind of unmotivated.”
The 40-year-old is a mother of twins, Emme and Max, who are now 21 months with husband Marc Anthony.
The always on the go mama added, “You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”

Two of my favorite people in the world were in the same room together, and one of them was drunk! So says Hugh Grant (the drunk one), who told Access Hollywood a fabulous little story about the Queen. Apparently, he had a few and decided to ask Her Majesty about her true feelings on the paparazzi, and whether she ever felt like giving a photographer a good smack. Her reaction? ?No, I don?t and don?t tell Harry.? Ha! To be fair to the Queen, it?s not like she gets photographed coming out some hip club in the middle of the night (although, how cool would that be?). Prince Harry?s relationship to the paparazzi is entirely different than the Queen?s. The Queen is not only protected 24 hours a day by lots of armed guards, she doesn?t really go to places where the hot celebrities are.
In ?Did You Hear About The Morgans?,? the normally well-dressed Hugh Grant strips down to a very uncharacteristic shorts and T-shirt look. Hugh shows off some toned legs and fit forearms in his new film, and Access Hollywood?s Billy Bush found out how the heartthrob got them in shape.
?I have a wonderful Swedish girl, she?s a model, who takes me to the park, thrice a week,? Hugh told Billy of his workout routine.
Hugh said his toned frame is the result of a blood pumping workout.
?[She] throws sticks for me like a dog and makes me pick up heavy things and it has made me a bit butcher than I used to be,? he explained.
While workouts get the Brit revved up, it?s something else entirely that gets his blood boiling ? the paparazzi. In fact, Hugh revealed he once badmouthed the snappers during a chat with Britain?s Queen.
?I was introduced to The Queen. She was charming and I said ? I was a bit drunk ? I said, ?Do you ever get annoyed by paparazzi? Do you ever get tempted to whack them with your bag??? he revealed. ?And she said (in a Queen-style voice), ?No I don?t and don?t tell Harry.? Because of course, her grandson, Harry, feels the same way as I do about paps and often gives them a whack.?
Hugh expressed sympathy with the Royal Family, who are increasing paparazzi targets, due in part to the love lives of The Queen?s grandsons, William and Harry.
?They?ve certainly made the life of her family a bit of a misery,? Hugh said of the paps Royal Family focus. ?She?s just got tough about it recently because one of her homes out in Kent, they put their long lenses over the walls and take pictures.They?re really just trying to get Prince William and [his longtime girlfriend], Kate Middleton.?
As for his own troubles with the paparazzi, Hugh made light of some of the things he?s done in the past when he?s found photographers in places he didn?t quite expect.
?Well our understanding is that I hit them, I kick them and then I get arrested. It?s happened twice in the last two years. That works quite well,? he told Billy sarcastically.

I always thought Hugh was a monarchist, bless his heart. He probably gets weepy for the Queen?s Christmas address, and ten bucks says he?s had at least one sex dream about Her Majesty. Ah, Hugh. I?d love to get drunk with him. I imagine it would involve a lot of prank phone calls, celebrity impressions and breast fondling. I?m totally game for that.
Speaking of Hugh and drinking, over the weekend he told another funny story about one liquor-soaked night in which he ended up buying a famous Andy Warhol painting on a whim:
Hugh Grant has confessed he was drunk when he bought a painting of Elizabeth Taylor that later made him an 11million profit.
The actor was lauded as an art connoisseur when he bought the work by Andy Warhol for 2million. And he was praised as a master of timing when he sold it six years later for 13million. But the star has now admitted that his windfall had little to do with an eye for art.
Grant, 49, had been on a two-day drinking spree when he ordered an assistant to bid for the painting at an auction in New York. He said: ‘And to my horror, she did, and even worse, got it.’
He added: ‘It all began with drink. I’d been having a drunken dinner with my father the night before, and I said, “We ought to go see my brother Jamie. You know, the Concorde’s amazing. And he said, “I hear it is.” So I bought him a Concorde ticket and we went. We had lunch, drank a lot of beer. And I was thinking about some stuff in the Sotheby’s auction and I saw the Liz Taylor. I slightly regret selling it now, even though it made me rich.’
The actor admitted not all of his drunken gestures were as well rewarded. Far from enjoying the supersonic trip to New York, his father was unimpressed. Grant said: ‘Halfway across the Atlantic, he’s saying, “Well, it’s all very nice, but frankly I prefer Air Kuwait” - his usual way of getting to New York.’

Making the long flight overseas, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London, England on Tuesday (December 15).
The Pussycat Dolls frontwoman was in the States for her guest judge duties on the Nick Lachey hosted show, “The Sing-Off”.
Meanwhile, Nicole recently chatted with press about everything from staying in shape to her future goals.
Of her healthy habits, Miss Scherzinger tells, “I love food, but I hate diets. I like three meals a day, but if my schedule is crazy I’ll have six smaller snacks. I’m 5ft 5in and weigh 9st 3lbs. You can’t expect to function properly if you’re hungry. For breakfast, I’ll have egg whites, tomatoes and wheat toast. But my new favourite is smoked salmon, poached eggs and brown toast. And I always have a mug of builders’ tea. I love PG Tips. And no, Lewis didn’t introduce it to me. The Dolls have been to England a few times, which is how I got on to PG. Now, I drink it all the time. You can buy it in Santa Monica where I live.”
When asked where she’d like to be in 5 years, Nicole reveals, “I’d like to have done my own album, as well as another from the Dolls. I’d love a couple of movies under my belt and to star in a stage show. And I hope I’d have started my own charity. I only know one way to work and that’s at full speed ahead.”

Talking about her own musical career with her band, Leighton recently told press, “The first time I heard [my single with] Cobra Starship on the radio, I had this really overdone reaction.”
Miss Meester adds, “I started screaming, and I was actually singing at the top of my lungs to Beyonce right before, and I heard my song right after. There were two cops right next to me, and I look over, and they’re, like, staring at me like I was a crazy person. Then, when I heard my song on the radio, I was in L.A., and nobody could even hear it because I was screaming.”

Fresh off of the UK premiere of her “Sherlock Holmes” movie, the brunette beauty was able to board her New York City bound plane despite having lost her green card.
As for her new movie, “Sherlock Holmes” is directed by Guy Ritchie and co-stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.
A synopsis of the film via IMDB tells: “Detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.”

Jennifer Lopez is trying her best for some kind of triple-threat comeback, bless her heart. She?s releasing an album, and has already got two terrible singles out, ?Fresh Out The Oven? and ?Louboutins?. She?s got some new films coming out over the next year, and she can still dance? although she will bust her ass when attempting any dance move other than a ?Vogue? style pose. So, Jennifer has a lot to promote. Which is why she is the January cover girl for Allure Magazine. I actually like the cover shot - I find it pretty but slightly boring. Isn?t that the blouse Jennifer wore to the VMAs when she was married to Cris Judd? Probably. Anyway, here are some of the highlights from the interview:
Has Jennifer Lopez let herself go? Has she sworn off the gym and calorie counting? Of course not — but she has chilled out, now that she’s a 40 year-old mother of twins Emme and Max, 21 months (their dad is her husband Marc Anthony).
“I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department,” Lopez says in the January issue of Allure. “You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids…you’re kind of unmotivated.”
The famously curvy singer-actress admits, “You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”
When she does need to hit the red carpet or a performance stage (as she did at November’s AMAs, where she slipped off a male dancer’s sweaty back), the star practices a more vigorous and frequent gym routine. Food-wise, Lopez says she’s a “big portion control person.”
The star also offers Allure some frank insight into the childhood roots of her ambition: the unintended absence of her dad. “My dad worked nights and slept during the day, so we never saw him much,” she says. “He was a wonderful, loving father…but even so, I would lie in bed at night and tell myself over and over ‘I know my daddy loves me.’ I wondered about it…if because of his absence he didn’t care about me or about us. And believe me, my dad was the best. But these little things happen to you when you’re younger.”

Jennifer also discussed husband Marc Anthony, describing the differences in their talent. Or should I say ?talent?? No? Marc does have a beautiful voice. Jennifer thinks so too, saying, ?It wasn?t like it was with Marc, who opened his mouth at age three and was blessed with a voice from God. That wasn?t me. I had to work at it, but I knew that once I had achieved it, people would respond to me in a certain way.? Jennifer also says that she?s tried to get Marc to quit smoking, but that ?you have to let a person do his thing.? And finally, Jennifer discussed her feelings on the paparazzi, saying ?It?s a business. Once they stop making money off of you they stop coming around.?
Here?s the thing - I love Jennifer. I always have. She?s a diva, she?s pleasantly crazy and delusional, and I have no doubt she would shank me if I pissed her off. While I don?t think that highly of her singing ?talent? or her wasted acting talent, I think Jennifer is a great old-school celebrity. She does work her ass off, and it?s so much fun to chuckle about Jennifer?s latest career escapade. Diva! Love it.

Here’s poor Pam Anderson, for some reason playing the Genie in the Lamp in the pantomime production of ?Aladdin? held at the New Wimbledon Theatre in London. According to a paparazzo source, the happy family spent hours in a typical and humble bar, so far from usual full-of-glamour restaurants in the neighborhood of Triana.
The insider adds, “Ordago is a small and humble tapas-bar with a Basque cuisine situated in the center of Seville, Spain with a curious mixture of north and south tastes. The menu of tapas eaten by the Cruises (typical Spanish snacks) included anchovy, Spanish omelette and kokotxa.”
“They repeated several of the snacks and drank only water. Although the temperature was only 4C and Suri was really in a sleeping mood everyone appeared to have had fun as the owner of the restaurant bid them adieu at the door,” the source tells.

According to FOX Pop Tarts, Jess has been in talks with celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad to create her own jewelry line, including wedding rings.
However, Miss Simpson may have hit a snag. “Jess and her mom are really pushing the wedding rings. Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn’t so keen on that. He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn’t think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica.”

When asked about a possible friendship with her ex-boyfriend/abuser Chris Brown, Ri-Ri replied, “Mmm. Maybe in like ten years, you know? But it’s not something that I’m depending on. I’m not depending on his friendship.”
Rihanna also discussed her ability to trust people following her domestic abuse earlier this year. “I can trust. I mean, I don’t like to stereotype; I believe everybody’s an individual. You can’t judge someone based on someone else’s actions. It’s probably not a big shocker that singer Alanis Morissette suffers from bouts of depression. Her music and lyrics provide a pretty transparent window into her struggles, don’t they? Alanis addressed her problems with depression in a recent interview, and her methods of battling it might be a bit unorthodox: lots of running, lots of kale, and the occasional joint and glass of red wine.
Alanis Morissette struggled with depression her whole life, but recently, she found an effective antidote: running.
Morissette, 35, tells Runner’s World that “running has made being depressed impossible. If I’m going through something emotional and just go outside for a run, you can rest assured I’ll come back with clarity.”
The Grammy-winning singer, who has run two marathons, tries to live a healthy lifestyle, including eating lots of kale. But she still occasionally indulges “in red wine, and it’s fun to have medical marijuana once in a while,” she says. “I still party and include a little debauchery.”
Always an active athlete ? Morissette says she was once a “hard core” swimmer who trained seven days a week ? she sometimes struggles with the motivation to run. “But I tie my laces, put on a tight bra and get out there like a little robot. The first 10 minutes are excruciating, but soon I get into the flow.”
Morissette ran the two marathons for charity and did November’s New York City Marathon with Edward Norton on behalf of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. In October, she did the Bizz Johnson Trail Marathon through Lassen National Forest in California, representing the National Eating Disorders Association.
“I struggled with eating disorders, especially in my teens,” she says, “but I’ve noticed when I treat my body like an instrument instead of an ornament, my relationship with food completely changes.’

I have a lot of admiration for runners. I’ve tried it, I hated it, so I stick with lower-impact forms of exercise like power walking or swimming. And of course, my favorite: napping. I have friends who rave about marathon training, but that kind of thing would definitely get in the way of my wine drinking/chocolate eating regimen. But from what Alanis says, perhaps you can train like a fiend and still carve out a little naughty time in your life. What I want to know is, how does one procure this medical marijuana for depression? I know that folks with glaucoma and even cancer patients can get it, but I never knew that people with clinical depression were able to. Can someone fill me in on this? Not for me, of course….for a friend. Anyway, it sounds like Alanis is in a really good place in her life these days. I know she was in hiding for a while there after her breakup with Ryan Reynolds, but she seems like she is way over him now.

Putting the Feb. 8 assault behind her is crucial in shifting the “Wait Your Turn” singer’s image from punching bag to reigning pop princess.
“I wanted people to move on with me,” she continues, “’cause the last big thing they know about me is That Night. And I don’t want that to be what people define me as.
The 21-year-old singer hopes her new album will inspire other women suffering from domestic abuse to stand up for themselves and get out of harmful relationships ? especially those victims who might be blaming themselves.
“That’s part of the insight that I wanna give,” Rihanna says. “Stop blaming yourself for that outcome. There’s nothing you can do, ever, to excuse a man’s behavior like that.”
But remember to first get back together and try to make it work, and then only dump him because you don’t like the relationship he has with another woman. You don’t really need all that high-falutin’ self-respect. You’ve got to be realistic here.

Rihanna appears topless on the cover of the January issue of GQ, but inside the magazine, she reveals more than skin as she discusses more about how she dealt with the aftermath of Chris Brown's assault and its effect on her latest album, Rated R.
In the interview, she was asked who helped her get through the trauma of the incident. "Nobody," she answered. "Really, just the music. And working. 'Cause I really didn't want to be around anybody, for them to stare at me and stuff, and feel sorry for me. So I just stayed in the house a lot. Then I started to get cabin fever. I was like, I'm going crazy in here."
Although "nobody" helped her cope initially, Rihanna added that friends and colleagues, like Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake, were supportive of her. "Me and Jay-Z, we have a very close relationship, so he was helping me through it and giving me advice and guidance, and just words of support. Like, strength."
Rihanna told the magazine that in Rated R, "you get a gist of my personality," more than in her previous music. Still, she complained, people tend to "misperceive" her. As an example of the vicious rumors she's faced, the interviewer brought up the one that Brown hurt her because she had herpes.
"And it's not true," Rihanna said. "It's a f---ing scar. On my lip. That's there every day of my life."
Unlike many celebrities, Rihanna said she reads the gossip about herself, because she learns something from it. "It's not like it's hard," she explained. "It's more ignorant. At first I was like, 'Are you serious?' First, I thought people were gonna definitely that that's not ... But when I read it, and I see that people just buy into that. ... Like, the minute they see it, it forms something in their head."

Halle Berry has been a longterm supporter of the domestic abuse charity The Janesse Center, which runs six shelters to helps women and families affected by violence at home. Berry is helping raise awareness for the cash-strapped charity by sharing the very harrowing story of how she witnessed domestic abuse as a child. She said her dad would regularly beat her mom and that “I?ve experienced what these women have gone through.”
The 43-year-old actress has been a low-key volunteer on the night shift at the Jenesse centre in Los Angeles for years but has only now chosen to reveal this part of her life, discussing for the first time how her father beat her mother and how she escaped her own abusive relationships.
She hopes the publicity will help the six shelters run by Jenesse overcome the financial stresses of the economic downturn. In the past Berry has refused to talk about the beatings meted out to her mother by her father, Jerome Jesse Berry, who left her family in Cleveland, Ohio, when she was four. But she has said a boyfriend once hit her so hard she is still largely deaf in her left ear.
Last week, accepting a ?leadership? award in Hollywood, Berry said she and her elder sister, Heidi, were still recovering from witnessing the violence inflicted on their mother, Judith, a retired nurse who was born in Liverpool.
?I saw my mother battered, and could not do anything to stop it,? she said. ?My father was tyrannical, lashing out at her for no reason. I felt the effects that had on our family ? I?ve experienced what these women have gone through.?
She said her mother was still working out why she took it for so many years. ?That is a deep question, and I am not sure she will ever come up with one answer. I have one answer to anyone in a similar situation ? get out.?
Berry never forgave her father, a hospital porter, even as he lay dying with Parkinson?s disease in 2003. He sold his account of their estrangement to a tabloid ?for a pack of beer and cigarettes?, Berry said.
She wondered if her parents? relationship had affected her past romances.
She said: ?I never had to run to a shelter, but I did choose the wrong partners. Not always good men. Luckily, in recent years, I have been smart enough to hit the door when violence even becomes a possibility. That is something I will not tolerate.?
After two marriages she feels more settled with her boyfriend, the Versace model Gabriel Aubry, and their 20-month-old baby girl, Nahla.
A former resident of the shelter said she did not realise the woman she called Halle Baby, who told silly jokes to her children, was a film star.

I didn’t realize that Berry actually volunteered at the Jenesse center and thought she just donated money. That’s really amazing that she works with the people there just like any other volunteer. She also works with the Make a Wish foundation as she detailed in an essay she wrote for Reader’s Digest in 2002. Berry’s personal stories in that Reader’s Digest article are very moving, and you can tell that she’s committed to helping others and that she truly cares. She wrote that she was heartbroken having to meet children who were so sick, but that she realized she had to deal with it in order to help. “Most of these children are terminally ill, so when you’re granting their wish, you know you may be seeing them for the last time. There was a point when I thought, I cannot do this. Then I realized that before a child passed away, I was able to put a smile on his face. So I told myself it would be really selfish to let a little pain stop me from doing a lot of good.”
Berry’s story of witnessing abuse as a child gives me chills. Now that her dad has passed she probably finally feels able to talk about it. She did mention it in her Reader’s Digest story but didn’t go into much detail, writing “My father was an alcoholic who was very abusive to both my mother and my sister. He was never abusive to me.”
You often see Berry and her mom out together and you can tell that they’re close. One thing Berry said in Reader’s Digest was that she wanted to have children but didn’t know if she would be able to. “I desperately want children of my own, and hope I haven’t missed the chance.” Now she has a beautiful daughter, Nahla, 21 months, and a gorgeous partner in model Gabriel Aubry. I bet Halle’s mom is such a proud grandmother.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are parents with a predictable schedule and a ton of paparazzi who follow them everywhere. If you watch videos of them dropping their older daughter Violet off at school, they’re surrounded by photographers. No wonder they often look annoyed when they’re out together - they’re being tailed by people shouting rude things. I’m hoping that the new paparazzi law in effect in LA this January, which makes it a crime to “take and sell unauthorized photos of celebrities in ?personal or familial activity’” will help them get some relief from the constant surveillance.
To make matters worse for the Afflecks, Garner has a stalker who has been trailing and threatening her for seven years. She obtained a restraining order against the weirdo last year, but he still turned up outside her daughter’s school yesterday. Steven Burky was arrested Monday for violating that restraining order by being near Garner. Radar has his mugshot and he looks creepy as hell.

Garner was granted a restraining order against Burky in November 2008. Burky was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Garner, her husband Ben Affleck and their daughter Violet, as well as being prohibited from contacting Garner in any way.
Garner claimed Burky had been stalking her since 2002, following her around the country and sending her packages and letters. At the time the order was granted Garner wrote in court papers, “This past year, Mr. Burky has resurfaced and his obsessive and harassing behavior has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening.
“He has now shown up at my private residence and has repeatedly expressed his belief that God has sent him a vision of me being persecuted in some manner that might result in my death.”

That guy looks like a serial killer, right? I would be so scared for myself and my family. It’s to Garner’s credit that she’s handling everything with grace and just trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for her daughters. Garner and Affleck are swarmed by paparazzi in LA, but if she’s also being stalked by a potentially violent creep she does have the security that goes along with being hounded by a ton of photographers. In a recent interview in W Magazine, Garner discussed potentially moving her family out of LA to avoid the media circus. “We talked forever about leaving Los Angeles, but anywhere you go some dodo is going to buy a camera and start following you.” Or there could be one really scary guy and no one else around to help.
Maybe it’s time that the Afflecks hired a bodyguard. Kate Gosselin has a bodyguard for no apparent reason. It’s not like there are tons of fans trying to get a piece of that beaver hair. The Afflecks have a very good excuse and a pretty scary situation to deal with.

I think very highly of Rachel McAdams? beauty. She is truly a gorgeous woman, and she could easily rule every red carpet she ever walked. Unfortunately, Rachel has something of a styling problem. It?s not like she?s got Rihanna?s stylist or anything like that, someone who cosigns whatever crazy, hormonal ?let?s shave half of my hair off and rock it? sort of thing. But Rachel?s stylist does cosign some sketchy stuff. Take this whole look, from the London premiere of Sherlock Holmes Monday night. Rachel looks pretty, yes. But? off. I think it?s the hair. Big up front with a loose braid? This dress (by Andrew Gn) could have had done with a classic chignon. Or even just have the hair loose. The makeup is flawless, though. It just goes to show how difficult it is to f-ck up when you?re working with a face like that.
Once I saw the January cover for Vogue, I did develop another theory about Rachel, though. Maybe the hair issues on the red carpet last night were about her not knowing what to do with sketchy extensions? Because on the cover of Vogue, Rachel is rocking a really cute, cropped, punked-out ?do. I like her better as a brunette, but the cut is lovely. Considering the Vogue shoot was probably a couple of months ago, Rachel has probably gotten extensions since then, probably for a movie, and she doesn?t know what to do with them.
No interview excerpts have come out from Vogue yet, but Rachel was interviewed by Total Film Magazine (via Showbiz Spy) about her supporting role in Sherlock Holmes, and her success in films thus far. Rachel said: ?There?s a balance of some hand guiding you somewhere, and at the same time your own free will and taking the bull by the horns. I do think it?s a combination of the two that gets you wherever you are. And I think there?s a little bit of control, but not much!? Rihanna went topless for the January issue of GQ Magazine. The New York Daily News gives the cover a resounding ?meh? and calls it far from provocative. I?m not so sure - Rihanna has done photo spread stunts before (like the sketchy bound and muzzled spread she did for Italian Vogue), but I do think this cover is interesting, just because Rihanna looks young and vulnerable, which is unusual because she’s been trying to look more ass-kicking lately. It?s become quite the thing for stars to go topless for GQ - I question their editorial decisions (and the sneaking suspicion that the editors have become one-trick ponies) more than I question Rihanna?s judgment.
In a recent interview, Rihanna also admits that she’s doing a sort-of tribute to her new favorite artist, Lady Gaga. She dons some? interesting sculptural dresses and some sketchy makeup. Is that all it takes to do a Lady Gaga homage? Maybe.
Rihanna’s raunchy makeover continues, as the pop singer graced a magazine cover in little more than a pair of leather hotpants. Despite her arms being strategically placed, the daring shot of a topless Rihanna leaves little to the imagination.
Rihanna is seen featured of the forthcoming issue of the US edition of GQ magazine as she continues her high-profile publicity campaign for new album Rated R. And it’s clear she is keen to push the boundaries both visually and musically.
Rihanna has worked hard to relaunch her career following the abuse incident she suffered at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. And it appears she hasn’t taken inspiration from the pop world’s emerging superstar Lady GaGa.
‘She has a very bold, fearless image,” Rihanna told MTV News on the set of her “Hard” music video. ‘I have to say, I have so much respect for original artists and artists who aren’t afraid to do what they want to do. That’s what I respect most, so she’s awesome.’
And in tribute to her new heroine, Rihanna wore a GaGa-esque dress with huge spongy spikes for the promo shoot and carried a rifle.

Rihanna is also debuting her new video ?Hard? at some point either today or tomorrow. She already released a 30-second preview of the video and it looks? okay. I guess. Rihanna?s videos kind of leave me cold, and I don?t really care for the Mad Max vibe she?s been rocking lately. I guess it?s her way of reasserting her power after the Chris Brown incident, so God bless. It?s just not my cup of tea, though.
