The Capitol siege pushed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out of the public?s mind for a week. It was sort of odd that the story got so pushed aside, just because in my experience, many gossip stories begin to pick up concurrently with major national or international events, almost like people need a silly gossip chaser for all of the horrific fascism. I think that?s why the Olivia Wilde-Jason Sudeikis split has picked up steam, btw. But people just forgot that Kim Kardashian is doing her Hamlet act over whether to file for divorce from Kanye. Thankfully, Kim ran to People Magazine to remind everyone!
Its a new year, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still navigating a significant rough patch in their marriage. Multiple sources confirm that Kardashian, 40, has been struggling in her decision of whether or not to end her nearly seven-year union to West, on the heels of an exceedingly difficult year.
Kim and Kanyes marriage is beyond repair, says a family source. Kim is over Kanyes chaos, and at this point she just wants to focus on the kids and her own life.
The high-profile couple shares four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, who turns 3 on Friday, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who turns 2 in May. Despite social media posts showing seemingly happy family vacations to Wyoming and Colorado last year, sources say behind the scenes, Kardashian grew increasingly concerned about Wests behavior ? including his unlikely Presidential run and controversial and public statements about abortion, Kris Jenner and his marriage to Kardashian.
If I had to say the final straw, I believe it was a combination of the Presidential run and his Twitter rants, says an insider. It created havoc at home. And though Kim is well aware of his issues [West opened up about his bipolar disorder in 2018], and tried to help him, she realized it was futile.
Ultimately, they are not on the same page, says the source of Kardashian and West, 43. Kim knows what she wants to do with her life and Kanye is constantly all over the place. Continues the source: She isnt in a rush to file for divorce. But it is on her mind.

I don?t think Kim?s support was necessarily ?futile.? Time and time again over the past four years, Kim is the one who has shouldered the responsibility of getting Kanye help, or taking him away when he?s being batsh-t in public, or convincing him to stop tweeting, etc. But I can understand and I have understood, this whole time how it probably feels futile to her, or it feels like Groundhog Day, with Kanye having these increasingly awful manic episodes every five months or so. She?s worn out from dealing with it. I would have said sayonara years ago.

Years ago, I was sort of obsessed with Heather Mills and her Big Grifter Energy. This was back when she was married to Paul McCartney, and then they divorced and I was sort of obsessed with all of the divorce drama. It?s been years since Heather was really on anyone?s gossip radar though I?m sure the British press has kept tabs on her, but sitting here in America, it?s been years since I?ve heard anything about her. Paul lives in the US now, and he?s happily married to Nancy Shevell. After her divorce from Paul, Heather got a nice settlement (something like $50 million) and joint custody of their daughter Beatrice, who is now 17 years old! Time flies. Anyway, Heather is back in the news this week because she?s engaged. To a man 13 years younger than her.
Heather Mills is set to wed her toyboy boyfriend after the pair exchanged commitment rings ? 13 years after her acrimonious divorce from Sir Paul McCartney. The vegan campaigner, 53, has described 36-year-old film producer Mike Dickman as the ?love of her life?.
Smitten Mike, who also works in sports TV, views the exchange as an informal engagement. It is understood they swapped rings shortly before Christmas, having enjoyed a romantic holiday in Portugal in September.
A source said: ?Heather and Mike are incredibly happy. It?s so good to see a smile on her face again after a turbulent few years. They?re completely in love. Heather has told pals he?s the love of her life whilst, for his part, Mike adores her and is completely devotedHeather?s incredibly young at heart, and gets on with all his mates ? their 17-year age gap really isn?t an issue.?
Although Heather is in no rush to walk down the aisle again, they have swapped commitment rings to keep other suitors at bay. Earlier this week, Mike showed off a ring worn on his wedding finger on social media with various friends commenting with love heart emojis and ?likes?.
The news comes 18 months after the couple first started dating ? having met on a train. Heather reportedly left a note for Mike declaring, ?You?re hot, email me?, with her contact details attached.

Well, I mean? good for them, I suppose. I always felt like Heather was on the friendly side of ?con artist? and it was widely reported (and confirmed by Heather) that she burned through her divorce settlement within a few years, so it?s not like she?s a sugar mama or anything. My guess is that Mike will probably have to financially support her. Maybe she?s changed though (lol, unlikely). Anyway, I hope Mike is going into this with his eyes wide open and an ironclad prenup.

We are less than a week away from the inauguration of our 46th President of the United States of America. On January 20th, Joseph R. Biden will swear his oath. My gawd, will we make it until then? I know we will. And it?s historic for so many reasons. Even if we set the traitorous uprising aside (which we can?t), we will swear in our first female vice-president, our first Black-Indian vice president and the first inauguration to take place while most of the country is in lockdown due to a virus. Not to mention it means the end of the term of one of if not the worst president in our history. It?s a bigger deal now because DC is taking unprecedented safety measures, with public monuments being closed as a security risk and companies like Airbnb cancelling all reservations and returning deposits for those dates since they can?t properly vet the renters. Because of the uncertainty with both the pandemic and the very recent insurrection, many of the inaugural events will look different this year. In addition to a virtual parade, the Biden team has orchestrated a Primetime special for the evening of the Inauguration. In lieu of at least one of the balls that would have normally taken place, a bevy of Hollywood stars and recording artists will perform to celebrate the event. And it will be hosted by none other than America?s Dad, Tom Hanks.
The unprecedented inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will feature a Jan. 20 primetime TV special hosted by Tom Hanks, following a day of ceremonies, in what the inaugural team is calling a capstone to showcase the American peoples resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together.
The 90-minute program will air on the major broadcast and cable news networks, except for Fox, who is streaming it instead, according to a news release from the inauguration team.
The special will include speeches by both President-elect Biden, 78, and Vice President-elect Harris, 56, as well as celebrity performances.
Ant Clemons, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato and Justin Timberlake will all perform. Clemons and Timberlake will sing their Better Days, which they wrote.
Bidens inaugural team said the special will highlight the strength of our democracy, the perseverance of our people, and our ability to come together during trying times and emerge stronger than ever before.
The program will celebrate American heroes who are helping their fellow Americans through this crisis, including frontline workers, health care workers, teachers, citizens giving back, and those who are breaking barriers, organizers said in the news release.
The Hanks-hosted TV special will air at night, after Biden and Harris participate in a military ceremony and Biden attends a wreath-laying with other former presidents.

Of course Fox is sitting this one out. It is appropriate that Hanks is hosting. Hanks, of course, is the safe choice and I?m sure it will all feel like a big hug. I have no interest in watching Justin Timberlake do anything. Honestly, I can?t say I?m really that amped about this special at all. I have nothing against it, I appreciate the team is working with what they have. And I applaud them for not making any selfish choices that involve in-person events. I hope we get a firework display somewhere but I guess that?s a gathering risk too, so I can wait.
I will tune in for Biden and Harris? speeches, though. Hearing them make promises once in power will be the real warm blanket I need. The image I can?t wait for is when they take the oath and swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. I fantasize about that moment, when those words are spoken and the 45th administration is done, over, finished. Here?s to the 46th.

Back in May of last year, Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy were the first big-name couple to have a messy pandemic split. It seemed like MK and Sarko were already having issued pre-pandemic, and the pandemic just heightened everything to a crazy degree, especially regarding money and property. Even though they are both wealthy, they were renting in Manhattan, and Sarko basically let the lease lapse without telling MK. That was the reason their divorce became public knowledge MK and her lawyers had to make some moves and there was a flurry of reporting about their marriage. MK was probably horrified by that most of all, that the peasants knew about her personal drama. By last summer, MK and Sarko had managed to find a way to keep themselves out of the tabloids. MK ran off to the Hamptons and Sarko went God knows where. They quietly worked on their divorce, and on Wednesday, they reached a deal in their divorce settlement:
Mary-Kate Olsen and estranged husband Olivier Sarkozy have reached a settlement in their divorce, their lawyers said Wednesday.
?As of this morning, we reached a final agreement,? Sarkozy?s lawyer Michael Mosberg told a judge during a Manhattan Supreme Court video hearing. Mosberg said the parties would have a finalized and signed copy of the agreement to the judge by next week.
Justice Lori Sattler asked Olsen?s lawyer, Nancy Chemtob, if she agreed. ?Yes, your honor, that is correct, everything is resolved,? Chemtob said. ?We?ve been working very hard. We do have a settlement.?
Sattler pushed the lawyers to finalize the settlement. ?Until I actually see the proof, I?m going to hold your feet to the fire a little bit,? the jurist said. ?I do trust and believe that this is happening, however, I?m going to keep control of the case to make sure this gets done and get them divorced.?

As soon as MK filed for divorce last year, it was widely reported that she has an ?ironclad prenup,? a necessity to protect her businesses and her substantial assets. So my guess is that whatever divorce settlement they worked out, it wasn?t that much money or anything. Maybe she threw $10 million at him to get him to sign a nondisclosure agreement, something like that. Plus, it didn?t even sound like they owned much, if any, property in New York, so it?s not like they had to negotiate real estate issues or anything as I said, they had been living in a leased apartment in a posh area. Which is so bizarre MK has enough money to buy some prime New York real estate. Maybe that?s what she?ll do now.
