Though the couple?s first anniversary won?t be until the end of April, Nick has already gotten his wife her present ? a Jack Russell terrier puppy named Cha-Cha. I?m 95% sure this was just to get the ?oooh, they?re practicing for a baby!? rumors going. Which certainly worked on Us Weekly.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon - who celebrate their one-year anniversary in May - are prepping for parenthood: They bought a dog.
“I got her a short-haired Jack Russell terrier — a girl, named Cha-Cha. She’s 8 weeks,” Cannon, 28, told Usmagazine.com Saturday at a concert in Coconut Grove, Fla.
He and Carey, 39, secretly wed in Eleuthera in the Bahamas last spring.
Cannon said being married to Carey is “the most amazing thing ever. I couldn’t wish for anything else. She’s the most incredible woman. Being in a strong union and being there for each other is something that I’d never really experienced before, so to experience it with my wife is remarkable. We’re together as one, and that’s important to me.”
He was mum on their anniversary plans, but told Us, “We never went on a honeymoon, so I guess I can tell you we’ll probably go to Barbados.”
Asked if there are any babies in the near future, he laughed.

I just have a hard time imagining her being able to tend to a child the way they?d need ? especially once they weren?t small and cute. But tiny dogs? Those things stay small and cute forever. I think that?s the perfect present. Mariah and Nick are currently in Barbados ? I guess on their belated honeymoon. It?s also her 39th birthday. Halle Berry isn?t sure if she wants more kids. The 42-year-old is already mother to baby Nahla, who turned one a few weeks ago. Halle confessed her maternal dilemma to Ellen DeGeneres, noting that her ?mind says yes but the rest isn?t up to me — so we?ll see.? It sounds like Halle?s partner Gabriel Aubry is up for another go, though. He tells US Magazine that Halle is ?unbelievable? and that ?she is the best mom that anybody could ask for — or wish for!” So sweet.
As Nahla turns one year old, Halle Berry says she’s on the fence about having more babies with beau Gabriel Aubry.
“Yeah, my mind says yes, but the rest isn’t up to me — so we’ll see,” Berry, 42, says on an episode of Ellen that airs tomorrow, March 31.
(On the show, DeGeneres also gives Berry a onesie that says “Laugh, Dance. Nahla.” to celebrate her birthday.)
One thing she won’t be doing: following in the footsteps of Octo Mom. “I hope I don’t have, like, 14 more!” she jokes. “That’s all I hope.”
In October, Aubry, 33, told Us they were “working on” expanding their family. He also said he was amazed at how Berry has embraced motherhood.
“I mean, look at her - she is unbelievable!” he told Us. “She is the best mom that anybody could ask for — or wish for!”
But despite wanting to expand their family, Aubry said, “We have no plans for marriage. We are more married than ever, really.”
Berry — who has two failed marriages — has also sworn off walking down the aisle.

If Halle wants another baby, she?ll probably get one. Either by pregnancy or adoption, I don?t think it really matters to her. It?s great that Aubry is sticking around, he seems to be in this relationship for the long haul. After the problems Halle has had with men, she?s probably just happy she found a nice guy, and she doesn?t want to fix what ain?t broken. Marriage isn?t for everybody, although I?ve always thought (just judging from photos of how Gabriel looks at Halle) that Gabriel would totally marry Halle if that?s what she wanted.

Telling Hollyscoop at the Rock Fashion Week in Miami, the balding Fergie says that after her tour, she’d love to discuss adopting and maybe having her own babies if mother nature approves. The good news is that nature will not allow cross breeding and the baby Fergie ends up adopting won’t be genetically linked to her. The bad news, for the kid, is Fergie is their mother which is like being in a never ending nightmare. Her kid is going to end up asking the monsters under the bed to check for Fergie.

For the new ads promoting Ciroc vodka, Diddy is looking for attractive girls - but only those with light skin. The casting call, released by Imperative Management, requests girls of certain height and size requirements, as well as only white, Hispanic, and fair-skinned African Americans. Understandably, the casting has sparked considerable controversy.
Hip-Hop renaissance man Sean “Diddy” Combs will be shooting a new television commercial for Ciroc Vodka and only African American women with a light/fair complexion need apply, according to the casting information sent out to by Imperative Management.
The casting call, which is also open to white and Hispanic women, goes on to specify both height and size requirements, stating that only those who meet their criteria will be contacted. The management company’s requirements are sparking controversy, as bloggers cry discrimination.
In 2007, Diddy announced his partnership with Diageo, the spirits company that owns Ciroc Vodka. Under the terms of their agreement, Diddy and his company Sean Combs Enterprises handles all brand management decisions for the vodka. As such, Diddy has appeared in several Ciroc ad campaigns, and also receives 50 percent of the company’s profits.

I don’t want to touch this one because it is such a delicate and controversial issue. I will say that casting calls often rule out entire populations of models - no brown eyes, no blondes, certain weights, etc. However, this is also an issue of discrimination based on race and ties into the issue of skin lightening in print media. While some magazines and makeup companies have been praised for featuring models who don’t fit into the “5?10” 120 pound, blonde, blue-eyed” look, they have also been accused of using lighting and Photoshop to make black women look white. L’Oreal, for one, got flak for supposedly lightening Beyonce’s skin in their ads.
You’d think that Diddy would have thought this one through, but you never know - even though he has a 50% share of profits and stars in many of the ads that may not mean he has final say on what the commercials will look like.

Pamela got a makeover or under. Light make-up coupled with a new haircut. She looked relatively normal. From far away. If you were anywhere within five feet, you could still see the “WTF” face she’s developed over the past few years. It looks like she’s constantly offended.

Pamela Anderson has been looking pretty damn beat lately. And not ?beat? as in tired, ?beat? as in? looking like shit. Sure, I could put it more kindly, but frankly to phrase it any other way would be dishonest. Look at these pictures and tell me she doesn?t look like shit. Alright, so there we go.
Well Pammie finally got a bit of a makeover. Now keep in mind this is all relative, so don?t be expecting anything drastic. There?s only so much you can do without taking an industrial sander to her face.

But in reality it’s one that the outrageous Playboy bunny should take note of.
The actress and model looked as fresh as a daisy in barely-there make-up, bouncy hair and plain white tee as she joined forces with designer pal RICHIE RICH to announce their new clothing range Muse at a lunctime press conference in Miami.
It’s just a shame that a few hours later the star felt the need to pile the war paint back on.
The ex Baywatch star looked more drag queen than beach babe as she shone from the front row of Richie’s fashion show in heavy make-up, a tie-dye revealing dress and unsavoury black heels.
The event - which later saw Pammi grace the catwalk - was part of Miami Rock’s Fashion week held at the beach resort’s famous Fontainebleu Hotel.

So I guess it was more of a make-under than over. The Sun is right, she really does look better in the photos for the press conference than she does at the fashion show. Though I?m not sure I?d go so far to call her black heels ?unsavory? but they weren?t doing her any favors. And she still looks a hell of a lot better in her worst photo here than she did in her best a few months ago.
Pam needs to chill on the eyeliner and lay off the tweezers. And the lip liner. Really, she needs to stay away from makeup on the whole. It couldn?t possibly make her look any worse, so she?s got nothing to lose. She appears so much prettier here with light makeup. If she weren?t posing in such a slutty manner, she?d even look cute at her press conference. And she needs to stop wearing so much white. That?s all I?ve seen her photographed in for months, and now I?m starting to associate it with crusty orange women instead of its original sweetness. And pants would be nice.

Gisele Bundchen has already stolen Tom Brady from Bridget Moynahan who he dumped after getting pregnant. Now, Gisele, having never even met Bridget, will be stealing her baby, John, as well. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele says:
?I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it?s not like because somebody else delivered him, that?s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,? Gisele says. ?I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that?s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he?s my son, from the first day.?
This would sort of be like invading a country then salting their fields and raping their women. The only thing left for Gisele to take from Bridget at this point is her dignity and, rest assured, she’s whittling away at that as we speak. By this time next week, Bridget will just be an empty husk of a person cradling a dirty pile of underwear she’s crafted to resemble her baby.

This week?s tabloids are schizophrenic about Brangelina. There are multiple ?sources? claiming that Angelina and Brad are on the verge of splitting, that Angelina is too thin, too tired, and the producers on Salt had to have ?a discreet word? with Angelina about her smallness. They?re also claiming that Brad and the kids haven?t been visiting her on the set so much, and that Angelina is ?very insular? on the set. Here?s The Daily Mail?s version:
They appeared to have the perfect relationship but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt seem to have hit their first rocky patch.
Sources on Angelina?s new movie, Salt, say she is exhausted and is barely seeing Brad and her children ? who have moved from LA to New York, where she is filming, to be closer to her.
Relations between Angelina, 33, and Brad, 45, are understood to be so strained that she is living alone at New York?s Waldorf Astoria Hotel, while he and their six children are renting a house nearby.
Angelina?s tiredness and a dramatic weight loss are concerning Brad and her producers.
?Brad and the kids have barely visited the set and Angelina seems very insular,? says a source. ?She?s staying on her own, working 15-hour days and the stress is taking its toll. We?re all very concerned.?
‘She?s on a liquid detox diet to lose 21lb in 20 days. She is doing all the stunts herself and barely has time to eat.?

The Daily Mail is doubling down on last week?s report in The Sun, which said that Angelina is doing some kind of liquid detox diet. I?ve seen pictures from the Salt set, and Angelina looks fine. She?s lost maybe three or four pounds at most, but it seems the tabloids have a set parameter on the stories they write about her. ?Angelina is too thin!? or ?Angelina on a diet!? and then ?But wait, Angelina is pregnant again!? Blah, blah, blah.
Brad and Angelina are also reportedly on the verge of adopting their seventh child. ?Sources? claim that Angelina and Brad have been interested in adopting from India since 2006, but the timing and their schedules were never right. Sounds hokey, because neither Brad nor Angelina strike me as the kinds of parents who would let a little thing like a scheduling conflict stop them from adopting. PR-Inside has more:
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to extend their multinational brood with a child from India, according to reports.
The pair already has three adopted children - Maddox, seven, from Cambodia, Pax, four, from Vietnam and Zahara, three, from Ethiopia - as well as biological daughter Shiloh, two, and their seven-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Jolie recently revealed plans to adopt from India when she met the child stars of Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
When ten year old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail asked the Tomb Raider star why she hadn?t adopted from his home country, she replied, “Well, I?ll let you into a little secret, we will soon.”
A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Express that the couple originally showed interest in adopting from India when they visited the country?s Priya Darshini Orphanage in 2006, but were too busy to finalise the details.
The insider says, “They filled out all the paperwork but had to put the adoption on hold because of all their other commitments.”

It would be interesting if they adopted from India, but I actually think they are more likely to adopt from an African country next. Angelina has said in interviews in the past that she would like some racial balance in the family. They have two Asian boys (Pax and Maddox), but only one African girl (Zahara). Will Angelina and Brad choose another little African girl to adopt next? That?s my guess.

Gisele says that she loves John Edward Thomas Moynahan - Tom Brady?s love child with Bridget Moynahan - ?as if he were mine.? She also calls John ?my child? and mentions that she ?already [felt] like he’s my son, from the first day.? Yikes.
Back in late 2006, Tom Brady pretty much dumped his newly pregnant girlfriend (Bridget) when Gisele came along, and by many accounts, there was some overlap in the two relationships. Part of the problem is that I have always felt really bad for Bridget throughout this whole situation. Ridley Scott?s production of Nottingham hasn?t even started principal photography yet, and there?s already been several epic controversies for the film. Russell Crowe (who will be playing Robin Hood) and director Ridley Scott are fighting all of the time. Sienna Miller was originally slated to play Maid Marian, but was either fired or quit, and afterwards came a mountain of bad press for everyone involved in the incident. Then, they had to replace Sienna - Kate Winslet or Cate Blanchett. Blanchett ended up getting the role, so at least some good has come out of this mess.
There is some more news about the film, though. First, after growing out his hair for months to play Robin, Russell just decided to trim his locks so that Robin Hood doesn?t look ?like a rock star?. Uh, I think Russell meant to say, ?like a middle-aged man trying desperately to look like a rock star?. It?s no secret that Crowe knows how to sing but would he ever star in a musical? He responds, ?If the right thing came along…There is a film that I’m looking at next year based on a book from an Australian writer which has a character within the book that plays in a band so that’s something I’m looking at the moment.”

Paris Hilton is not the first name that springs to mind when I think of a hottie in a swimsuit on a beach in Miami. Probably not the first 25 or so names. But I'll say that Paris isn't all that horrible in these photos. I do like her bikini photos from Hawaii better, but my personal opinion is just that...mine. I do know that the guy Paris is with looks a bit gay, and his brain is probably turning to swiss cheese from a varied list of STDs. But at least he'll get to see Paris Hilton naked and perhaps some of her money. Well...the first one we all have seen!

Audrina Patridge is definitely decked out for the MTV Australia Awards. The reality show star looks dazzling with her golden dress! Audrina looks to me to be wearing more make up than is generally necessary, but it doesn't look hideous! And in all fairness, I'm not really looking at her face anyway. Just like in every picture I see of Audrina Patridge. They may be fake, but that doesn't stop me. All in all, Audrina looks pretty damn hot in these photos, and that's all we can ask for!

Even though it?s pretty clear to everyone that Katherine Heigl is desperate to leave Grey?s Anatomy to devote more time to her burgeoning film career, she still feels the need to pay lip-service to her ?happiness? if she?s forced to fulfill her contract. Heigl claims that she?s totally in the dark about whether Izzy will be written out of the show, which is funny. That probably means the producers and the writers are just screwing with her, trying to make her life miserable.
Heigl talked about all of this and more to The New York Times at the celebration for the one-hundredth episode of Grey?s Anatomy. Heigl, who has pitched more than one public fit about the show?s writing and schedule, now says she?s ?happy to compromise? with whatever the show?s producers and writers have planned for Izzy:
Katherine Heigl said Friday she’s ready to stay with ”Grey’s Anatomy” and the decision rests with the show. Attending a studio party to mark the ABC medical drama’s 100th episode, Heigl said it’s premature to think her days as Dr. Izzie Stevens are numbered.
”I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no. No one will tell me and I don’t know how this is going to go,” Heigl said, noting series creator Shonda Rhimes passion for plot secrecy.
”I don’t know if I live or die. I don’t know how Izzie fares,” said the actress, who’s played the character since the show debuted in 2005.
”I’m there” if Izzie remains part of ”Grey’s Anatomy,” Heigl said. She called the set ”one of my favorite places to be” and said her colleagues are also friends.
She and fellow cast members, including Ellen Pompeo (Dr. Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek Shepherd), were on hand for the celebration that included a cake decorated with scalpels and syringes made out of icing.
Rhimes, who’s also an executive producer for the show, called the milestone a ”huge accomplishment” and thanked the cast and crew for their efforts. In an interview, she dropped a tantalizing clue about the episode airing May 7.
”The only thing I’ll tell you about the 100th is that it takes place on Meredith and Derek’s wedding day,” Rhimes said. ”That’s big … and that’s all I’m going to say.”
On Thursday’s episode, Izzie was seen surviving brain surgery. There’s been speculation that Heigl wants to pursue her blossoming film career (”Knocked Up,” the upcoming ”The Ugly Truth”) full-time, and that her character might be killed off. Rhimes declined comment on what would happen to Heigl’s character.
Last month, fellow cast member James Pickens Jr. said Heigl was leaving the show, along with T.R. Knight, both of whom declined comment at the time. Knight missed the studio party because he’d previously scheduled the day off, an ABC spokeswoman said.
On Friday, Heigl said she’s comfortable balancing movies and TV by working on big-screen projects during the summer hiatus for ”Grey’s Anatomy.”
”I’m more than happy to make that compromise. As my agent likes to say, ‘High-class problems,”’ Heigl said.
”I don’t know if I want to continue for five years working 12 months a year, but I can take at least another year or two,” she said.
Dempsey said he intends to fulfill the remaining two years on his contract with ”Grey’s Anatomy and ”then we’ll see what happens after that.”

It will be interesting if T.R. Knight follows his ?bestie? Katherine off the show - he doesn?t have the waiting film career she has, so staying on Grey?s might be his best choice.
Katherine Heigl and her ?high-class problems? grate on my nerves. It?s not that she wants to leave a television show that put her on the map - lots of television actors get bored and want to leave, and that?s life. What bothers me is her repeated whines and public complaints, often at the expense of people who are making a lot less money than her (like, say, the writers). No one forced her to sign her contract - so why all the drama about fulfilling her contractual obligations?

The couple were married last weekend in Turks & Caicos, and there was some question as to whether that island wedding would be recognized in America. So the couple were wed in a civil ceremony Friday in Beverly Hills. Emma is a smart girl - she knows the importance of making sure every ?t? is crossed and ?i? is dotted. Good for her.
The report that came out on their civil ceremony claims that Emma and Bruce met ?through friends?, directly contradicting the report earlier this week that claimed they met on the casting couch. As I consider that casting couch report, though, the timeline didn?t add up. OK! claimed that Emma was trying out for a part on Perfect Stranger, which was released in 2007 and filmed in 2006. That would have meant they met nearly three years ago, when they claim they?ve only been together a year. Interesting… if you enjoy romantic conspiracies.

After their wedding celebration in the Caribbean last weekend, the actor and the model/actress were wed in a civil ceremony Friday at a friend’s house in Beverly Hills, his rep, Paul Bloch, tells PEOPLE. “They could not be happier,” Bloch says.
The couple, who met through mutual friends, have been together for more than a year. They said their first “I do’s” on March 21 in a small ceremony at Willis’s home in Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos, with his ex-wife Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher among the guests.

Many commenters (and tabloids) have been making a big deal about how Emma seems to look a lot like Demi Moore, Bruce?s ex-wife. I see a vague resemblance, especially if you compare Emma to how Demi used to look about twenty years ago (before Demi allegedly had all of that work done). I think a lot of the comparisons are based on their coloring - both women have beautiful olive skin and dark hair. So, does Bruce Willis have a type? Maybe, maybe not. Madonna arrived in Malawi Sunday evening for a week-long stay which she hopes will lead to her adoption of three-year-old Mercy James (who is perhaps four years old, the reports keep changing). Earlier last week, it seemed as if Madonna was going to pull off her second Malawian adoption with much less fanfare and criticism than her first adoption of David Banda. Unfortunately for all involved, scandal, criticism and the media glare follow every decision Madonna makes.
Almost simultaneously, the grandmother of Mercy James and international children?s advocacy groups slammed Madonna for her attempted adoption of Mercy. Initial reports claimed that Mercy was in fact an orphan, that Mercy?s mother had died within days of Mercy?s birth, and that Mercy?s father had died of AIDS. Mercy?s uncle will be attending Monday?s court hearing, and basically signing Mercy over to Madonna, but the child’s grandmother is putting up a fight. The grandmother, Lucy Chekechiwa, claims she will resist Madonna?s efforts, and that Madonna is trying to ?steal? her granddaughter, who was supposed to be released to her care at the age of six:
Mercy was placed in the orphanage after her 18-year-old mother died days after her birth and her father died of Aids.
However the girl’s grandmother Lucy Chekechiwa, 61, has said she will resist the move and claims an agreement with the orphanage means she will keep Mercy once she turns six.
She told The Sun newspaper: “Why doesn’t this singer pick other children? It is stealing. I want to go to court, I won’t let her go.”
She added: “They told me when I visited her last month that they want to find a better education and home for Mercy. But I am sticking to the initial agreement that Mercy will return home to me after she reaches six years old.”

The Telegraph is now reporting the rumor that Mercy?s father might still be alive. Much like David Banda?s father, who has reportedly gone to the Malawi lodge where Madonna is staying so that he can visit his son.
Advocates from Save the Children are also pitching a major fit over this whole situation. Their official policy is to exhaust all options within the home country, even encouraging extended families to care for orphaned children, rather than giving children away to orphanages. A spokesperson for Save the Children says, ?We urge any celebrity to set an example, to follow internationally agreed procedures designed to protect the child, and to ensure that the child in question has no other options in their home community.? The Telegraph has more:
Officials at the airport in the nation’s capital Lilongwe said Madonna arrived late on Sunday.
“She disembarked from the cargo area and jumped into her convoy,” an airport official said. The luxury lodge where Madonna has stayed in the past has been fully booked and casual visitors have been turned away. An employee said Madonna had checked into the exclusive lodge, accompanied by her son David Banda, whom she adopted in 2006 from the same Mchinji Home of Hope orphanage where four-year-old Mercy lives.
The employee, who did not want to be named, said David’s biological father Yohane Banda was at the lodge to see his son.
Children’s charity Save the Children has urged the singer to think again although the family of the toddler she is seeking to remove from the impoverished African republic is now said to be supporting the adoption.
Questions were asked after she and then-husband Guy Ritchie took David Banda to their London home in 2006 while the child was 13 months old, and her latest quest for a sister for David has led to renewed criticism.
Mercy’s grandmother Lucy Chekechiwa, 61, initially hit out at the star, telling tabloid newspapers: “It is stealing. I won’t let her go.” Mrs Chekechiwa claimed it had been agreed the child would go to her when she turned six. Mercy’s father is believed to be alive but no other details were available from a welfare official and people close to the case who today said the girl’s relatives have now consented to the adoption. Madonna and the girl’s uncle are expected to appear in court today to sign adoption papers.
Austin Msowoya, legal researcher with Malawi’s Law Commission, played down concerns saying the best interests of the child needed to be taken into account - whether this was staying in an orphanage in Malawi or getting “an education with Madonna”.
“When you look at these two options, then perhaps it becomes in the best interests of the child to allow the adoption if the parents and the guardians consent to it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Save the Children said orphans should be cared for by extended family in their home country and suggested international adoption can make matters worse. Spokesman Dominic Nutt said: “The best place for a child is in his or her family in their home community. Most children in orphanages have one parent still living, or have an extended family that can care for them in the absence of their parents.”
According to Save the Children, international adoption should only be considered if the child is a genuine orphan, and if all other alternatives in their own country have been genuinely exhausted.
“International adoption can actually exacerbate the problem it hopes to solve,” said Mr Nutt. “The very existence of orphanages encourages poor parents to abandon children in the hope that they will have a better life.”
Mr Nutt also said international adoption can mean big business in some countries, with “unscrupulous” adoption agencies profiting from the sale of children. He said: “We urge any celebrity to set an example, to follow internationally agreed procedures designed to protect the child, and to ensure that the child in question has no other options in their home community.”
Madonna’s spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg, who has not commented on the adoption reports, said the star would not respond to Save the Children.

I totally understand why these Save the Children advocates are getting so riled up, but they might want to think about spreading the blame around - Madonna wouldn?t be able to go in and have a baby hand-delivered to her if the Malawian adoption system wasn?t so screwed up. The Malawian legal system is basically telling the world that they?re open for the baby-selling business if the celebrity is big enough and the money she spreads around is enough.

There’s no denying the fact that Kim Kardashian is stacked. Especially at Perez Hilton’s birthday bash over on Saturday. Ignoring the fact that Perez Hilton’s birthday party actually qualifies as a photographable event and that Kim’s dress made her look fat, or fatter, this was pretty great. She’s like a damn superhero. Twice the boobs of a normal woman, more ass than a strip club and able to leap through gifting suites in a single bound. She could stop crime just by wearing a low cut dress like this and breathing heavily.
