Here is Hayden Panettiere looking stunning in a full-length peach gown at the Critics? Choice Awards, hitting the red carpet in the eye-popping Maria Lucia Hohan number with a grin from ear to ear.
Panettierre, who was nominated for best supporting actress in a drama series, admitted she was shocked by the positive feedback she?s received since entering rehab.
?I?ve gotten an incredible amount of support and I was actually really surprised cause I feel like I grew up in this industry that, in my mind, was very judgmental,? she told Entertainment Tonight.

Here is Kirsten Dunst wearing a cream dress with layers of chiffon encrusted with sequins and crystals at the Critics’ Choice Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica where she won actress honours.
She sparkled in a stunning cream dress with layers of chiffon at the bust, hips and thighs encrusted with thousands of silver sequins, beads and crystals that glistened on stage and as she posed on the carpet.

| Leslie Mann in Monique Lhuillier at Critics' Choice: ballerina fug or gorgeous' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Actress Leslie Mann, a/k/a Mrs. Judd Apatow brought some old school Hollywood elegance to the red carpet at last night’s Critics Choice Awards in a gorgeous dress by Monique Lhuillier. The black strapless bodice is the perfect vehicle to showcase her lovely pulled back hairdo and her siren red lipstick. I love the short black skirt covered by a longer, white tulle skirt. It gives the whole dress an ombre effect that really works. Leslie created a completely unified look with dark nail polish and a black satin clutch. Oh, and being the shoe aficionado I am, can we talk about those crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin shoes for a minute? Gorgeous.
Shiri Appelby, a nominee for her role on Lifetime’s UnREAL, hit the red carpet in a rust colored chiffon gown by Leanne Marshall. I’m not crazy about the color of the dress, but the woman just had a baby last month (a son, named Owen, with her fiance, chef and restaurateur Jon Shook) and she looks stunning. The cut of the dress is flattering and her makeup looks flawless. Well played!
Flesh and Bone star Sarah Hay, who was also nominated for her work on the Starz drama, is giving me major Ann-Margret in her Lorena Sarbu gown. First off, I love her hair, I am a sucker for the 60s sex kitten look and her red curls are everything. Her makeup is also on point. Her black strapless gown with an extreme side slit shows off her dancer’s legs and she brought out the glittery accents woven throughout the dress with gold accessories – a Swarovski clutch, Jerome C. Rousseau heels and Csarite jewelry.
She played a wicked witch in The Wiz Live, but Mary J. Blige is looking wicked herself in a J. Mendel gown. The sheer black chiffon gown, with cutout peasant sleeves and beaded trim is elegant and even a little bit edgy. She gives a nod to The Wiz‘s Emerald City with some teardrop earrings, which look great with her blonde bob. I also think the neutral lip was a good choice, bringing the focus to her smoky eye makeup.

Ever since Taylor Swift started hanging out with Victoria’s Secret models all the time, I’ve been convinced that something’s up with those funbags of hers. They’re starting to look a lot more, well, fun. And maybe my eyes are just going from too much time spent an inch away from my computer screen, or maybe […]

| Kirsten Dunst in Chanel at the Critics' Choice Awards: elegant or overworked' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

At the Golden Globes, I was SO pissed off that Lady Gaga won for American Horror Story: Hotel, mostly because I thought the award belonged to Kirsten Dunst for Fargo. If you haven?t watched Fargo?s second season, you really need to. It was easily the best thing on television in the past few years, and Kiki was doing amazing work on the show. Thankfully, the Critics? Choice righted that wrong last night, when they gave Fargo the miniseries/limited series award and gave Kirsten the Best Actress in a Limited Series award.
Kirsten wore this Chanel dress that was apparently selected for her or designed especially for her by Karl Lagerfeld or something. Kirsten was one of my best-dressed women at the Globes ? her black velvet Valentino is still one of the best things I?ve seen on the red carpet this season ? but she?s not really one of my best-dressed for the Critics? Choice. If anything, this Chanel looks better in photos than it did in motion. It?s not great. It?s not BAD either, but she can and has done better. Also: no Garrett Hedlund last night. Sad.
And here?s another big winner for TV ? Crazy Ex Girlfriend?s Rachel Bloom. Rachel has become the darling of awards shows and you can tell that she?s really, genuinely happy to be included. Rachel wore this simple Alexander McQueen jumpsuit. It?s fine. It?s flattering, it?s simple, it?s okay.
Here?s Maura Tierney is a Max Mara two-piece. This isn?t good, but it does look comfortable.

| Matt Damon & Luciana, in Naeem Khan at the Critics' Choice: striking or showgirl' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Matt Damon had a lot of cutaways last night during a somewhat tedious ceremony. The host bits, by Silicon Valley’s T.J. Miller, were really lame, like incredibly so. Some of the presenters were funny and had some decent lines though, which makes sense because we’re talking about the top tier of seasoned actors. Whenever the camera cut to Damon he seemed to be laughing and enjoying himself despite how much it must grate to have to sit through those things. You get the sense that he’s very much “on” and campaigning, although his category, Best Actor, went to Leonardo DiCaprio, who Skyped in to accept it.
Matt’s wife Luciana was in this black and silver Naeem Khan gown with a stripe pattern along the bodice which led to square confetti-like details on the skirt. This looked better on camera than it does it still photos. There’s something kind of showgirl about it. Naeem Khan is a friend of the Damons and he often does Luciana’s gowns.
Sarah Paulson was also in Naeem Khan, in a silver sequin dress with a v-back, high collar and cap sleeves. I don’t like her styling, I just saw her in Carol and dark hair suits her better, but I dig this dress. She takes fashion risks and I think this one is paying off. It’s funky, it’s got a spacey 60s vibe and I like the contrasting fabric at the neck and on the sleeves.
Pregnant Liv Tyler was in Cushnie et Ochs. It seems like everyone was wearing open back dresses last night and it must have been cold. I like the sleeves and the high slit on this gown. It’s a nice balance between maternity wear and high fashion and it looked great on screen, she’s so statuesque.
Emmy Rossum was one of several ladies in Dior (see the women of Mad Max) and she was there to support her fiance, Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail. Mr. Robot cleaned up last night, winning Best Drama, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. I thought her gown was gorgeous and I love the kind of ballerina top which leads to a skirt slit to a wedge of silver sequins. Her hair was a little too slicked back for my taste, but that’s a minor complaint.
I’m including Wendi McLendon-Covey, looking lovely in navy blue, because I love her work on The Goldbergs. It’s such a great show and she’s an excellent actress. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy, which went to Rachel Bloom.

| Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab at the Critics' Choice: boring or beautiful' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Rachel McAdams was another one of my favorites at last night?s Critics? Choice Awards. I know Elie Saab gets a lot of hate and/or disrespect, but I think as a design house, Elie Saab consistently delivers pretty, well-tailored, flattering gowns for women who are not feeling all that sartorially adventurous. I like this Elie Saab on Rachel because it looks great on her body, it?s a simple, uncomplicated design, it?s a great color and she?s pretty enough that she doesn?t need all of the bells and whistles of so many ?high fashion? designs. If I have one complaint about this look, it?s that I wish Rachel would stop with the blonde, specifically this shade of blonde with the ashy, dark roots. It washes her out.
Lord help me, because I enjoy January Jones. I enjoy her as an actress, as a fashionista, as a person. She?s fun and funny. But this Altuzarra? Meh. She was phoning it in.
America Ferrera in INGIE Paris. This, to me, looks like a prom dress. But from the neck up, she?s gorgeous.
Jennifer Jason Leigh in Roland Mouret. If you?re old (like me), this gave you a flashback to one or more ?80s references. This Mouret either reminds you of Julia Roberts? fancy dress in Mystic Pizza, or the dress Brenda and Kelly fought over on 90210. Which is to say? I love it. JJL?s face is morphing into Jessica Lange though.
Bryce Dallas Howard wore Balmain – she said she bought it online for herself, which is her thing. She doesn?t borrow dresses, she buys them because she has difficulties finding dresses to borrow in her size. I like that she?s okay with that and she talks about it openly. But I would love it if she would work with a stylist to figure out what?s actually flattering on her body. Because this is not it.

| Jennifer Aniston in blue Saint Laurent at the Critics' Choice: lovely or tragic' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were surprise guests at last night?s Critics Choice Awards. By that I mean that I was surprised to see them, because I forgot that Justin Theroux was finally nominated for something for The Leftovers. While Justin didn?t end up winning Best Actor in a Drama series, he and Jennifer were two of the biggest names at the event, which was sparsely attended.
Jennifer also chose this moment to debut a new look. And by ?new,? I mean a look that was pretty dated and ?90s, but it?s new for her. She?s gotten ultra-blonde highlights upfront, and she was doing something different with her makeup. The result was enough to make me quit bitching about how she never changes anything up. I was wrong! She shouldn?t change anything up, ever. Because her new look is no bueno. The blonde highlights combined with the too-dark eyes make her look like an over-the-hill biker babe.
Jennifer?s dress also didn?t do her any favors. She wore this Saint Laurent gown in a pale blue, which was actually on-trend for the night (SO MANY women wore this color). But the design? Yikes. Everyone thought she accidentally split her dress up the middle, the slit was so high. And the bust ruffle is just? bad. The whole thing is really bad. She needs a mulligan on the whole look, quite honestly. But I guess we should be happy that she tried to change it up. And I?m happy that she walked at least one carpet during this awards season ? it feels like forever since we?ve seen her on a red carpet.
As for Justin? he looks quite ?tight? doesn?t he? A little Botox?
