While it seemed as though they were in it for the long run, Kylie Minogue and her beau Andres Velencoso have officially called it quits.
According to US Weekly, the Australian songstress and Spanish model ended their five year courtship.
A mutual friend of the couple explained to the publication that the pair didn't drift and that it was mainly more about jammed-pack schedules than anything else.
"It was more of a time thing - they didn't get much of it together," the source stated. "There was no fall out, they're still friends, just not lovers anymore."
When asked about Miss Minogue's feelings about the situation, the source simply said, "She's doing alright - she throws herself into her work during times like this and she's got so much work going on at the moment."

Donning a Theodora & Callum Grey Multi Grand Canyon Wearable Art Scarf, the ?Footloose? lady drove her Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon SUV into a gas station and fueled up while a few pesky shutterbugs followed closely behind.
Last week, Julianne served as a guest judge on ?Dancing with the Stars,? though her remarks about buddy Mark Ballas seem to have ignited a feud.
Hough previously critiqued Ballas? performance, saying, "There were moments where I felt like choreography-wise, I felt like it was two people dancing side-by-side rather than together. So I really want to see [Milian] shine. I've danced with Mark. You have to stand in front to make sure you're seen."
And after hearing that Mark was upset by her feedback, Julianne told press, "I loved being on the show again and being a judge because I feel like that's where it all started for me and it's where I'm really comfortable being able to talk and critique. I judge the same way I teach so it all comes from love. It's not to diss anybody. It's not to hurt anybody's feelings. It's about constructive criticism so that they can get better for next week and that was not a direct attack to anybody. I don't know why people are making such a big deal about it.?

The ?Real Steel? hunk donned a dark suit and chatted with members of the media with the help of a translator ahead of the film?s premiere.
Over the weekend, Hugh hosted a 45th birthday party for himself at Hollywood?s Dolby Theatre, raising money for the Motion Picture & Television Fund with a live performance.
Jackman, who raised $1.85 million that night, told press, "This is probably the most narcissistic way to spend your birthday. I chose my favorite songs and told stories about my life."
"A lot of guys would say to their wife, 'Do you mind if I go play golf with my buddies?' That's how I am about the show. I love it. If there's a song I don't like, I cut it and bring in a new song. “[Am I friends with Justin?] A little bit, but not really. I’m not much older than him, so I never want it to feel like I’m mentoring him. But I do mentor him in a way. Because I’ve been doing this s**t for a long time.”
She then went on to say how she fired her people because they wouldn’t have approved of the new version of her. The one where she shakes her ass on anything.
“I basically cut off all ties. I got rid of my manager, but I feel like [my recent evolution] would have scared them. I just don’t think they would have had as much faith in what I’m doing.”
Now that she’s evolved, she’s going to stop hanging out with adults too.
“I hung out with way to many adults when I was a kid. So now I don’t want to hang out with any adults.”
The irony of which is that she’s now an adult herself. Oh what a cruel twist of fate. Why have you forsaken her twerk gods?!

She already covered the latest issue of Elle UK (with an interview by Tom Hiddleston).
You know that Natalie and her family are moving to Paris in short order, right? I think they?ve spent much of the past year splitting their time between LA and New York, plus whatever locations Natalie has been for work, but now Benjamin Millepied got a job as ?the director of dance? at the Paris Opera Ballet so Natalie is going to be very French very soon. She?s excited too, saying: ?Yes and we’re very excited. My husband has made me director of dance at the Paris Opera Ballet and starts next year. I love Paris. I’ve worked there for a few months at a time, but neither of us ever lived there before – my husband is from Bordeaux. It’s everyone’s dream to live in Paris at least for a while, so there is a wonderful opportunity for us.”
Natalie is also really excited about what the Paris move will mean for her vegetarian and vegan diet. She recently said: ?I’ve been vegetarian since I was nine and vegan on and off. At the moment we live in Los Angeles near Thai Town so we eat a lot of good vegan Thai food and there are also great pasta places nearby – a good pasta is probably my favorite dish. Paris is getting better for vegans – you can get anything there if you know where to look.” Huh. Is Paris really a paradise for vegetarians? All that bread and cheese, for sure. I would imagine that Paris is hard on vegans though, right?

As for Jenny, it?s quite simple: viewers hate her. No one is buying her warrior-mom/farty-hot-girl shtick. Thank God.
The View isn?t favorable for Jenny McCarthy! A production source told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the newest co-host of the ABC morning show?s job is in jeopardy because her big mouth is making viewers tune out.
And incredibly, former Playboy Playmate McCarthy, 40, has proven to be even more unpopular with viewers than the polarizing Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who left The View for Fox News, the production insider revealed.

The source is unclear if McCarthy?s deal is for one year or two, but said that ?if Barbara wants her out, they will buy out her contract.
?Right now they?re just trying to adjust Jenny?s performance on the show so that she comes off as more appealing, but that?s an uphill battle.?
According to The Wrap, The View has seen minor dips in total viewership after McCarthy?s debut.

Yes, if I was sitting around watching TV in the middle of the day (that sounded judgy, but I DO watch TV during the day sometimes, I just usually have it on MSNBC or CNN), I wouldn?t want to watch Jenny either. I think I?ve told this story before, but it?s worth retelling in this context. When I was about 13 years old, I found a pair of jeans that I loved. The jeans were incredibly tight. Too tight. Unflatteringly tight. Still, I wore them. I wore them until my mom said, ?You need to stop wearing those jeans because no one needs to see the outline of your vagina.? These Katie Holmes photos made me think of that.
Katie was walking around NYC yesterday, wearing nearly the same outfit she was seen in on Friday. Skinny jeans, a sweater/poncho-like thing and booties. The purse is Derek Lam, by the way. I think we?ve all established that we want Katie to do great things post-Cruise. We want her to look great and do great work. Does this outfit establish that? Or does it make you kind of sad for her?
For me, it?s all about the unflattering skinny jeans. So few women can really pull them off, and I have to say? Katie Holmes is not one of them. She looks poured into them and like if she turns her body the wrong way, she?s going to cut off circulation to her lower half. But I do kind of like the t-neck, lord help me. It?s kind of cute. I like the idea of this better than the execution.

“Blurred Lines” is still running hot on my iPod shuffle after dominating as a major summer hit. Of course there’s the controversy about the lyrics being kind of “rapey,” but I honestly think that there are a lot of pop songs out there that transmit the rapey vibe to a much greater agree. I tried to hate the video, but Robin and the ice cream cone get me every damn time.
All along, Robin has alluded to how “Blurred Lines” was supposed to be making fun of three “old” dudes (that is, himself, Pharrell, and T.I.) standing on a porch yelling, “Hey hey hey!” at hot young things. A new wrinkle has appeared in the equation. We’ve already heard about how Robin and Paula Patton probably have an open marriage, and she doesn’t mind when he gropes young blondes and gets off on their young age. Now Robin reveals that “Blurred Lines” is actually about Paula:
“I don’t think people got it. I wrote ["Blurred Lines"] about my wife … she’s my good girl. And I know she wants it because we’ve been together for 20 years.”

This ^^ is a preview of the November Vogue. Kate Winslet is the cover girl, probably because she?s promoting? Labor Day? Maybe? I just checked though and while Labor Day is making the film festival rounds through the fall, it doesn?t even get a limited release date until Christmas. Still, that?s the only thing she?s got coming out in the next six months. I guess Anna Wintour wanted Kate because of the changes in her personal life too ? Kate got married and got pregnant over the past year, and she?s probably due in the next few months.
Until Vogue releases their editorial and interview, we?ll just have to make do with this interview which was making the rounds last week (sorry I?m just getting to it now). Kate has been facing some criticism for her life choices, especially with the notoriously snarky British press. A columnist for The Telegraph apparently shaded Kate pretty hard for having ?three babies by three fathers.? Which is true, Kate is in the midst of gestating her third child with her third husband. So I guess Kate was responding to those criticisms in this interview:

“Single mums do come in for a hard time. Society is incredibly judgmental. I know this,” Winslet told TimeOut magazine.
“My life has taken me down several different paths I never expected it to take me down. Not in a million years. And I know the true meaning of getting by the skin of my teeth, I do. It doesn?t matter whether you?ve got money or you haven?t, whether you?re famous or not. This is the case for all women actually, you have to carry on. You always have to carry on. And you can, because you have to.”
The 37-year-old British actress, who is already mother to daughter Mia from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton and son Joe from her second marriage to Sam Mendes, is expecting her third child, the first with husband Ned Rocknroll.
“I?m a bit older, and certainly my body doesn?t feel like I have been pregnant in ten years. I?ve been more active and healthier, I think. I know more about how to take care of myself now” she said.
“I think that between 27 and 37 was a really big learning decade. I just know more, I think, now than I did then. I?ve been very lucky ? a bit tired and a bit sick at the beginning but nothing major at all.”

Eh. I mean, ?society? does judge single mothers, still, to this day. If you don?t believe me, listen to half of all the politicians in America. Even Mitt Romney did some single-mother bashing during one of the presidential debates. So, she has a point about ?judgmental? society. But! I think Kate makes the wrong turn when she makes it all about herself and her struggles. ?I know the true meaning of getting by the skin of my teeth, I do.? Really though? I mean, do you really want to look at a single mother making minimum wage with no access to affordable day-care or pre-K for her kids and tell her ?yes, I have been through that, we are the same?? Her message isn?t actively bad or offensive, she just seems? out of touch. I suppose the message is that all ladies are the same and we all have our struggles and we all have to carry on, but objectively, some ladies have more burdens than others.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reunited over the weekend for a 20th anniversary event celebrating The X-Files at The Paley Center. You know what? I think, for the X-Files fans out there like me, that we wouldn?t get so happy and excited to see Gillian and David reunite if they weren?t still so damn attractive. I mean, look at them! Both of them have aged, of course, but Gillian is still so beautiful and damn it, I would still bang Mulder. Anyway, just look at them. I love that they still like each other. I love that it still feels like they?re in each other?s lives and they still enjoy each other?s company. I can?t believe it?s been 20 years.
So it should come as no shock that David and Gillian confirmed this weekend that they would both come back for another X-Files movie, and that Chris Carter is working on a script as we speak. Is this lame? Is it weird or lame or budget that David and Gillian would revisit these characters (likely with a handsome paycheck) just because neither has a lot going on these days? David said: ?All the principals are on board? Gillian and I want to do it, so it’s really up to 20th Century Fox at this point.? The last movie bombed, but I think if they tried to reboot the franchise in an interesting way with another film, it could be successful. Maybe old-married-couple Mulder and Scully could teach a pair of young FBI agents how to search for aliens? Costarring Benedict Cumberbatch as The Lizard Hybrid and Tilda Swinton as The Alien Goddess.

Yes, I?m sure she?s ?brilliant? at music producing. Lord, do we really have to pretend that this is a normal relationship? The thing is that Simon and Lauren have known each other for years and they?ve been sleeping with each other for years ? how is it possible that they still have new stuff to learn about each other?
Oh, and it?s not like Simon has called it quits with any of the ladies in his harem either ? he just celebrated his birthday with his exes (and no Lauren).

This is such a freaking weird story about Shia Labeouf, who is freaking weird enough on his own, so I guess it makes sense. Shia is currently in London to shoot WWII movie Fury with Brad Pitt. I guess Brad had the night off from bro-bonding with Shia, and Shia got into some mischief on his own.
He certainly found trouble. Shia is no stranger to barfights or punching things. This time, Shia made sure someone kicked his ass instead of vice versa. I don’t know if he was drunk or what, but he was hanging outside a bar and saw a woman puking. He decided to film this woman while she threw up. The woman asked Shia to stop, and he refused. Then a “good” samaritan (I probably shouldn’t use that term when referring to violence) stepped in and punched Shia a few times to make him stop filming. Seriously?
Actor Shia Labeouf was reportedly attacked during a night out in London after he filmed a drunken reveller on his phone.
The Transformers star was allegedly enjoying a night out in Leicester Square when he started to video two women, one of whom was being sick. After he refused to stop filming at the girl’s request, a passer-by intervened and punched the actor twice.
The pair was split up by bouncers from a nearby club, giving LaBeouf and his pal the chance to escape.
One of the women LaBeouf filmed tells Britain’s The Sun, “I only realised it was Shia after he’d been beaten up. If I’d known, I’d have let him film me as much as he liked. I have a massive crush on him.”
The publication claims the police were not called to the scene.
It’s the second time LaBeouf has allegedly been involved in an altercation in the U.K. capital – he was caught up in a scuffle in a bar last year after a patron tried to grab his baseball cap.

Shia does some strange things without realizing that he offends people, but this takes the cake. The woman’s reaction is very strange too. She has a crush on Shia, so she wouldn’t have minded him filming her if she would have realized who he was. Really? If I was puking in the street and Tim Olyphant rolled up with an iPhone, I’d tell him to go f— himself. Sorry Mr. Swagger, but I puke without witness if at all possible.

Believe it or not, I kind of like Lauren Conrad. I think that?s the point, right? She?s so blandly inoffensive that most people are like, ?Yeah, she?s okay. I don?t actively dislike her.? So I imagine that many people will be moderately happy for Lauren now ? she?s engaged to her boyfriend of ?? about a year I guess, William Tell. It?s not like people really know who is and it?s not like it really matters, I guess. Lauren strikes me as the kind of girl who just wanted to get married. She was looking for an inoffensive dude to marry. And she found him. Congrats!

In an interesting turn of events, LC got engaged the same weekend that her first boyfriend, Jason Wahler, got married. Nice timing, LC. It?s feeling a bit like Jessica Simpson or Kaley Cuoco in here.
