I think Kendall Jenner should probably just stick to Instagram modeling from now on, because her latest attempt at real modeling for the March issue of W Korea is just really, really bad. I mean, she doesn’t even know how to modela hand-bra properly. Anyway, I’d be happy to help teach her if she really […]

Yikes. I thought Dakota Fanning was supposed to be a pro. But here she is getting surprised by the paparazzi on her way out of some kind of Chanel event and I’ve seen better smiles on Kristen Stewart… If Dakota’s going to be an A-list actress hottie, she needs to work on this ASAP. Because […]

I’m 99% sure that Olivia Wilde is wearing something underneath this lace dress of hers at the unite4:humanity charity event in Beverly Hills, but that’s not going to stop me from ruining what’s left of my eyesight checking out this white-hot MILF with my nose pressed up against my screen, just in case. See,I’m very […]

| Sarah Michelle Gellar joins the Cruel Intentions reboot: good idea? | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Some people say “you can never go back,” but Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to one of her more memorable roles (no, not Buffy). The 38-year-old actress, whom we haven’t seen much of since her series The Crazy Ones was cancelled, has signed on to reprise her role as the wicked and cunning Kathryn Merteuil on NBC’s upcoming reboot of the 1999 movie Cruel Intentions.
When the network announced the show back in December, it was mentioned that Sarah’s character would play a part in the series, but now the actress is officially on board. She used #tbt to post a “then and now” photo on Instagram with Cruel director Roger Kumble and executive producer Neal Moritz. The caption read in part, “#kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv) on the new #Crueltv.” Side note: Sarah sure has aged well, she looks great.
#throwbackthursday (a bit early in Los Angeles) this picture was taken on the eve of production on the original #cruelintentions. Its me #rogerkumble (director) and #nealmoritz (exec producer) and the other is a picture of us now on the eve of production on the new #cruelintentions. That's right "everybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way" #kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv ) on the new #Crueltv

| Johnny Depp to attend atheist Reason Rally in Washington in June | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I’m an atheist (and former Catholic) and I always took it for granted that it wasn’t a big deal to not believe in God – until I moved to the south. (I’d previously lived in the northeast and in Europe.) Suddenly people were asking me to go to all sorts of church events and when I would explain matter-of-factly that we were non-believers I would get responses like “we’ll pray for you” and “what are you exactly?” So whenever I hear that a celebrity is an atheist it makes me feel like it’s getting more mainstream acceptance. That’s why I was kind of thrilled to hear that Johnny Depp is slated to attend the Reason Rally, held by secular and atheist groups, in Washington, DC this June. Some of my friends are going to this, I don’t live far from DC and I might plan on going too.
Other celebrity attendees include Margaret Cho and Julia Sweeney (of SNL) along with scientists Bill Nye and Lawrence Krauss. I think Margaret Cho is a hack and she’s pretty awful on the reboot of Fashion Police, plus Johnny Depp is drunk and slurry most of the time, but it’s cool that he’s doing this. Here’s

| Gwen Stefani is giggly as a schoolgirl when talking about Blake Shelton | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Gwen Stefani, one of my idols of life, is on the talk show circuit, promoting her upcoming album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like. Gwen was on the Ellen show Thursday. Ellen kicked off the interview by talking to Gwen about the awesome live video for “Make Me Like You” (still on repeat on my iPod) that she shot during the Grammy ceremony. (Ellen said that a lot of people just thought it was an ad for Target.) Gwen called the video shoot a “surreal moment.” She confessed to being incredibly nervous about the shoot but concluded, “It was just something magical.” Fun fact: Ellen was supposed to be in the video as the piano player during the bar scene (and the bar was named “Blake’s” because of course it was) .
Ellen and Gwen are pals, and you can tell by their conversation. At one point, Gwen was calling Ellen “bitch,” but in the good way. So it was inevitable that the conversation would turn to Gwen’s beau, Blake Shelton. Ellen showed some pictures of the happy couple and came across a few from Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, where Gwen was sitting in Blake’s lap. Ellen quipped, “They didn’t have enough chairs at this event?” Good one, DeGeneres.
Gwen is no longer a judge on The Voice, the show where the pair met (which I am hoping means she’s going on tour for the new album), but she is serving as a mentor for Team Blake. Ellen tried to get a reaction from Gwen, asking, “When he popped the big question ? about you being his mentor ? how did he do that?” The question resulted in a giggle fit from Gwen, who asked, “Did you rehearse that before?” She then answered the question, stating, “I want to be on that show as much as possible. That show, it’s hard to talk without laughing…I got so much out of it…” Ellen quickly added, “You did!”, which resulted in more giggles from Gwen. Through the laughs, Gwen said, “Oh my God! You’re so good. You’re so good at your job. This show is like…I just come on and giggle and laugh, it’s so embarrassing.”
So how did Blake start this relationship, exactly? I’m thinking he may have passed her a note that said “Do you like me?” with check boxes for “yes” and “no.” New love is the best. I’m Gwen’s age and I have been dating a guy for a year now who is awesome. Have I made him CD mixes of love songs that make me think of him? Yep. Do I do an improvised “happy dance” when I’m going to see him? Yep. I think it’s adorable that Gwen is reduced to a giggling teenager when she talks about Blake. And she looks awesome. I am coveting that Pink blouse. You go, Gwen.

| Amy Adams almost eloped in Las Vegas but 'got too drunk' to do it | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Show of hands ? is there anyone who dislikes Amy Adams? I adore her. I remember watching Amy in Junebug and realizing right then and there that we would be BFFs. This year is unusual for Amy as she’s not nominated for an Oscar. Amy holds five Oscar nominations but has yet to win. It’s just a matter of time. Amy reprises her role as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice, out March 25th.
She graces the cover of the April’s Marie Claire UK. The cover dress is interesting – it looks a little like an elaborate kitchen strainer but the color is great and her makeup is fabulous. The embossed green suit below is tailored perfectly and that heavy print is calling to me. I love the dress’s slit in the black and white photo but dislike the neckline.
Amy and her husband, artist Darren Le Gallo, took 14 years to get down the aisle. What’s nice is that this allowed their adorable five-year-old daughter, Aviana Olea, to witness their vows on an LA ranch. However Amy tells Marie Claire that their wedding could have been much more casual. They planned to elope while in Las Vegas but had one little hiccup:
On drinking her wedding plans away: “We wanted to find a chaplain, go to the desert and get married at sunset, but to be honest, we got too drunk. Then it was just not going to happen.”
On choosing marriage: “I definitely feel like I can’t make empty threats. Before, I could be like, ‘I’m just going to go down and get a hotel room, and I’m going [to] think this through!’ Though I’m making myself sound horrible to this poor, awesome guy. Relationships are hard. I think what I learned is, you just have to make a choice. Marriage is a choice.”
On the duplicity of Hollywood: “I’d gone to the [initial] table read. Producers were like, ‘See you tomorrow!’ Then they called to say I’d been let go. This was the first time I realized that people would lie to my face.”
On creeping on Henry Cavill: “In between shots it was like, ‘Put on a robe please, and make everyone feel less bad about themselves.’ I had to apologise to him at one point. I?m like, ?I promise I?m not that pervy.? He?s just so good to look at. My husband likes to look at him, our [five-year-old] daughter likes to look at him? we?re just a creepy family.”
[From E!Online and The Daily Mail]
The Cavill lust is strong with this one. I remember her getting woozy over him on Graham Norton; she owns her Cavill crush and you know he loves it. How metal is it that Amy drank too much to get married in Vegas? Talk about swimming upstream as Vegas marriages usually happen as a result of drinking.
Amy has just been cast as Camille Preaker in the next Gillian Flynn book to be adapted, Sharp Objects. That?s a tough read but Amy is a good choice for that role. You know what isn?t on Amy?s IMDb page? Get It While You Can, her Janis Joplin biopic. Apparently the film has been riddled with problems. The latest roadblock is a lawsuit by the film?s own producers. I would very much like to see Amy play Janis but I think this film’s a mess and likely not happening in time for Amy to stay attached to it.

| Rachel McAdams went platinum blonde: cute or doesn't suit her' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

E! points out that Rachel McAdams, 37, went platinum blonde ahead of the Oscars. We’re used to seeing her in a more golden blonde color, which seems to suit her coloring better than this white blonde color. She’s a beautiful woman either way I just think her hair looks bizarre this color. Maybe I’m not used to it yet.

Rachel was at a dinner Wednesday night at the Chateau Marmot celebrating Spotlight director Tom McCarthy. I just saw Spotlight yesterday when it came out for rental and I agree with Kaiser that it was incredible. My mom and I saw it together, she went to Catholic school and raised me Catholic (up to a point), and it was a sobering look at the Church. I really hope it wins Best Picture, it’s currently the favorite to win and I hope that sticks.
In terms of her fashion, she’s in a cobalt blue David Koma sheath dress with cut out shoulders. There’s something very… athletic about this dress, I think it’s the scoop neck paired with the thick shoulder straps. I feel like should like it but it comes off as plain despite the goofy side ruffle. She looks lovely as usual though and I hope she brings it at the Oscars, as she has so far this awards season. Maybe her hair color change is in preparation for a dramatic look Sunday!
E! also points us to this interview Rachel did with Today late last year in which she discussed her preparation to play journalist Sacha Pfeiffer. She listened to Pfeiffer on the radio, met with her several times and asked her many questions. McAdams turned in a great performance and you could tell she knew her stuff. I was also so impressed with Mark Ruffalo. I know he’s not going to win Best Supporting Actor, Stallone is pretty much a shoe-in, but he so expertly got convincingly upset and frustrated without ever overacting. The entire ensemble was just terrific in this film.
Here’s how McAdams’s hair looked before, at the Oscars luncheon (this dress is Prada and I dislike it).
