Looking to blow off some steam, Lindsay Lohan headed over to the National Liberal Club in London to celebrate her press night performance of ?Speed The Plow? last night (October 2).
Joined by costars Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay, the ?Parent Trap? hottie was all smiles as she paraded around in her shimmery dress and posed for photos.
Unfortunately, LiLo and her play didn?t score very high with the critics, as Mark Shenton of The Stage really tore into the whole production.
He wrote, ?This is the most indefensibly opportunistic production of a play about some of life's opportunists: beyond satire, a truly cynical event. It has been staged primarily as a vehicle for @LindsayLohan, cruelly out of her league & embarrassing onstage, still calling for prompts. The Lindsay we should be talking about is Nigel Lindsay [who played the lead], not Lindsay Lohan; he's outstanding, full of sweaty anxiety for the right reasons. The producers of Speed-the-Plow have inadvertently satirized themselves by putting the show on; here's living proof of a rush to the bottom.?

They?re both huge fans of the hit AMC series ?The Walking Dead,? and last night (October 2) Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French turned up at the Season Five celebration.
The picture-perfect newlyweds looked to be in great spirits as they strolled up to the Universal City Walk and encountered a scary-looking zombie!
And as always, Ashley was prepared for plenty of paparazzi action in her plunging leather top and slim-fitting distressed jeans as she showed off her handsome husband.
Ms. Tisdale and Mr. French were married last month in Santa Barbara before jetting off to Bora Bora and posting bikini beach pics via social media.

Here we have photos from a Michael Kors event yesterday in honor of a new portrait book of young female celebrities called Young Hollywood by Claiborne Swanson Frank. Subjects include Isabel Lucas, who is featured on the cover, Dakota Johnson, Elisabeth Moss, and Amber Heard. Out of all of those women, the only one I spotted was Isabel Lucas. There was still an excellent turnout, with all of the ladies in Michael Kors, to mixed results.
First off we have Emmy Rossum in a Michael Kors Resort 2015 black dress with a chiffon skirt. I don’t mind the extremely deep v neck, that kind of bodice is popular lately and there’s something very striking about it. The gown is lovely and I like her accessories, she just has really bad makeup. The makeup artist who did her eyes in those shades of red should be ashamed. Maybe they were trying to match her eyeshadow to Michael Kors’s face. It doesn’t look avant garde, it just makes her look ill.
Here’s Alison Brie in a mod eyelet Michael Kors skirt and dress combo. At least only the top is see through. Brie’s makeup isn’t terrible, but her eyelashes look like overkill. It looks like she’s wearing false eyelashes on the top and bottom. Still, cute outfit and it seems to suit her.
Julianne Hough worked a shiny tight Kors pantsuit. This was Kaiser’s favorite look of the night. I like the brooch and her hair, which is perfectly tousled.
Zoe Kravitz stepped straight out of the 90s in this plain silk lingerie dress. This looks like something I wore in college.
Here’s Nina Dobrev in a formfitting white floral sequin minidress. I can almost see her nude foundation garments underneath, but it’s not quite see through. Nina almost always gets it right.
Also in the gallery we have Kiernan Shipka looking like a little lady, Hailee Steinfeld looking very 60s cute, and Isabel Lucas swimming in a long ruffled peach dress accessorized with an off-center belt. It’s like Little House meets Hee Haw.

Over the summer, we heard a really funny story about Charlize Theron. Tia Mowry apparently goes to the same SoulCycle as Charlize, and Tia mentioned to In Touch Weekly that she once went over to Charlize to say ?hi? to her and Charlize?s reaction was to roll her eyes and say ?OH MY GOD.? Tia said Charlize was ?just mean.? Sources later claimed that Charlize was trying to get Tia banned from SoulCycle (what happens at SoulCycle stays at SoulCycle) but other sources were like, ?Meh, this never happened.? Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow out in NYC last night. She attended a show of The Country House, which features her mom, Blythe Danner. Goop?s ensemble is a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 two-piece. You like? I do not. I don?t mind Gwyneth in black, and I?m ambivalent about tube-tops (so dated, but whatever). But the whole ensemble is just? blah. The lace at the bottom is tacky to me. Meanwhile, the neverending saga of Gwyneth, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin continues. What does it all mean?!?!?!
So much for an amicable split! Ever since Chris Martin has consciously re-coupled with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow has been scrambling to keep the Hunger Games actress away from their kids, RadarOnline.com has learned. In fact, according to one source she?s even banned Martin from mentioning her in front of them!
?Gwyneth is doing everything possible to make sure Chris? girlfriend, Jennifer isn?t mentioned in front of Apple and Moses,? a source told Radar. ?She doesn?t want them upset by Chris? ?younger lady friend,? which is how Gwyneth refers to Jen. Explicitly instructed by Gwyneth, Chris has been told not to discuss his girlfriend in front of the kids.?
Furthermore, the source said, ?Gwyneth has told Chris she absolutely does not want any of Jen?s personal items left behind at Chris? house, that the kids might come across.?
Over the weekend, Paltrow celebrated her 42nd birthday, at her Brentwood mansion, and as RadarOnline.com previously reported, Martin was in attendance. But tensions have grown between the two, as Martin told his former wife of ten years, that his new relationship was getting serious.
?Gwyneth was absolutely stunned when Chris told her he wants to introduce the kids to Jennifer,? the source previously revealed. ?It won?t be happening right away, Chris wants to make sure this relationship is going to just fizzle out before taking such a big step. But he sees this relationship going the distance. This has been a huge blow to Gwyn?s ego because she has always bragged that she has Chris wrapped around her finger.?
Indeed, Paltrow and Lawrence almost had a very awkward run-in as she was picking up their kids from Martin?s house as the young starlet was spotted on the same road, just minutes apart.

Gladwell posits that ?gut decisions? are often better, long-term, than carefully considered, well-planned decisions. He says that if more people trusted their intuition and refused to second-guess their first instinct, the world would be a much different/better place. That?s sort of what Gwyneth?s Goop-letter is about, only she made the concept really touchy-feely and New Age-y. Vox did a take-down of the subject here. I often think Gwyneth could do with fewer intuitionists, healers, and New Age types in her life.

Kate Winslet covers the new issue of Marie Claire UK. I wonder what she?s promoting? Let me look it up?eh, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe she?s promoting A Little Chaos, which doesn?t come out in America until next year. Maybe she?s promoting one of her modeling contracts. Maybe she?s just promoting herself and how she?s going to turn 40 years old (in October 2015). In any case, it?s a nice cover and a pretty nice shoot. Kate manages to get through the interview without trying to convince us that Ned RockNRoll is secretly a genius, so that?s always nice. Some highlights:
Stop talking about her ?dewy? skin: ‘I had a terrible bout of acne after I turned 30. I kept reading about my sodding dewy complexion and thinking, “Oh sh-t, look at me, I’m covered in bloody spots, proper cystic bumps, if only they knew…”‘
Diets: ‘Whenever I go to LA the make-up artist or hairdresser will end up having a conversation about how fat they think they are and I really just can’t take it seriously at all. I’m just like, “Yeah, you’re right, you look gigantic, you need to lay off those boiled bits of chicken you’ve been eating because have you seen your arse?” And they’re the size of a blinking pin. I’m no stranger to the occasional dodgy juice, but it doesn’t taste very nice and it is bloody boring. It’s not a way to live.’
Her friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio: ?I think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing. It?s so disappointing for people to hear that, because in the soap opera of the Kate and Leo story we fell in love at first sight and had a million snogs, but actually we never did. He always saw me as one of the boys; I?ve never really been a girly-girl. We needed each other to lean on because we were very young and working all kinds of crazy bloody hours and it was a shock to the system.?
Turning 40 just after Leo: “He’s 40 this year and I’m 40 next ? that’s weird. Isn’t that weird? He wouldn?t have a joint party with me, he really wouldn’t. Definitely not. He likes to have his moments. But, also I don’t think I’d want to have a joint party with him, more to the bloody point!?

How many times did she say ?bloody? or ?arse? or ?blinking?? It?s like elegant Kate Winslet is trying to be accepted as someone ?downstairs? at Downton Abbey. As for her complaints about her skin? she?s always had great skin. Even when she was a teenager, she had great skin. It wasn?t just Photoshopping in magazines either ? she?s always had that rosy-cheeked glow in films and TV. I don?t know why it?s so hard to just say, ?Yeah, I?ve had good skin most of my life, I?m lucky.? And I really don?t get the Leo stuff at all. Why is she still talking about him? The rumors about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon?s marriage implosion have significantly slowed down over the past few weeks. My theory is that the tabloids simply moved on to other stories, plus Mariah basically threatened to go nuclear on Nick if he continued to discuss their situation publicly. Maybe, hopefully, they?re working out their divorce quietly right now. In the meantime, let?s figure out what Nick is up against. Star Magazine has a really funny/insane interview with someone billed as ?a former member of Mariah?s entourage.? This former member has some really great gossip, if you believe it (and I do). Some highlights:
She?s bloated?! ?It?s really sad. Her self-esteem is at an all-time low. She?s run down and bloated, and she isn?t sleeping. It?s horrific to see her like this, but Mariah wears her heart on her sleeve. People dismiss her as a demanding diva, but that?s not entirely true. She?s crippled with insecurities.?
Nick never gave her a reality check: ?Not at all. he could fully see what a diva she was being, but he didn?t care. He seemed to get a high from watching Mariah boss people around. During the , Mariah was also acting unstable, and most of us thought Nick would be turned off by that ? but he wasn?t. He just stuck around.?
Instability: ?Right when the director yelled, ?Cut,? Mariah could barely stand to get out of the pool! She fell into a sort of trance. It was really scary. Nick saw the whole thing and was just standing back, watching.
Does she always go into trances? ?Yes. She often goes into trances. She even has special assistants whose job it is to stand behind her, just in case she falls backwards.
What?s with the trances? ?No one knows for sure, but Mariah will often go two, three, sometimes four days in a row without sleeping. On top of that, she drinks wine or champagne constantly. It?s a recipe for disaster.
Her wine-slurping: “She drinks white wine out of a ginger ale can. She sips it through a straw, so it looks like she’s just drinking ginger ale. [Her] assistants have to carry backpacks filled with wine so that if Mariah’s can ever needs a refill, they can go to a nearby bathroom and fill it up for her.”
She has her own soundtrack: “When she had people over, she’d have people on her staff follow her with a portable speaker, playing music ? so she could make an entrance with a theme song.”
Hiring practices: “Mariah has always made it a point to hire people she thinks are less attractive than her. She makes them wear black or drab colors, so they won’t stand out.”
Hello Kitty: “Mariah’s Jack Russell terrier wasn’t very well trained and the dog would often bite Mariah. She wouldn’t accept any kind of Band-Aid except for the Hello Kitty ones.”

It?s always being said that Mariah refuses to walk even a few steps if she could conceivably get someone to carry her. But who knew there was a practical reason for that? Chica is always going into trances!!! And she sometimes falls backward because she?s ?trancing? so hard. I?ve known people who go into trances. They were usually blackout drunk at the time, and/or heavily medicated. I wonder if most of Mariah?s problems (from the past few years, at least) can be explained by a toxic mix of prescription drugs and alcohol?

Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis welcomed their baby girl on Tuesday in LA ? we covered it yesterday. Even though it felt like Mila had been pregnant for a year and a half, and even though people were convinced that she was like two weeks overdue, sources maintain that Mila gave birth on schedule. Sure. Anyway, I was hoping that we would find out the name soon, and that?s what happened. I should have known that Ashton would use his baby to promote his weird plagiarist site, Aplus.
Mila and I would like to welcome Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher to the world. May your life be filled with wonder, love, laughter, health, happiness, curiosity, and privacy.
Can you guess which one is ours, or does it really matter? All babies are cute.

I like unisex names (I love ?Charlie? and ?Remy? for girls) and I like Wyatt for a boy. So I should like this name, right? It just doesn?t feel right for them though. It seems more like a name that Ashton picked out and Mila was too tired to fight about it. And the girl is going to go through life being called Wy Kutcher, which will make her sound like a 66-year-old retiree in New Mexico.
