As you guys know it was Memorial Day yesterday and I was too lazy to post. However, Im back stronger than ever with Bella Thorne in some leather! This is a look I can get used to. Only thing shes missing is a whip and some chains and Im ready for my spanking. []

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has an interview with The Cut in which she describes her daily routine and work schedule. She does yoga, stretching and meditation and has previously said that she enjoys boxing and works in small amounts of exercise throughout her day. Giada, 47, reminded me a little of Kourtney Kardashian in that she goes to an acupuncturist who does ?muscle testing? to determine which supplements she should take. (Muscle testing is generally considered quackery, but instead of covering all that here I?ll just point you to the Kourtney K story I covered, in which I linked studies on it. Giada isn?t eliminating food groups or making decisions for her child based on muscle testing, so it?s likely harmless in this case.) She said she takes 20 pills a day, although she doesn?t specify what they, and claims they prevent sinus infections.
On taking 20 vitamins a day:
My acupuncturist makes my little supplement bags for me. I try to go once a week. She muscle-tests me for what she thinks I need. The only regular things that I take are vitamin D, a probiotic, a prebiotic, and biotin. Everything else will sort of switch out. It?s like a baggie of ? I hate to say this ? 20 pills a day. Which is a lot. I have to tell her, ?You can?t give me more than 20 pills a day. I cannot take them.? I take ten in the morning and ten in the evening.
On scheduling appointments:
If I?m not shooting or I don?t have to be anywhere, I start my day with all of my appointments. Acupuncture, I try to do once a week. Yoga, I try to do five days a week. And then any doctors appointments. Because I travel so much and I?ve had a history of really bad sinus infections, I tend to get vitamin pushes from my doctor once a week when I get busy to try to get my immune system going and so that I don?t get sick. If I think about it, my free time is all taken up by maintenance for myself. I think people forget how much women, as we get older, have to keep up.
On assistants:
I only have one. She?s young and eager. I like to keep a very, very close knit group. I have a culinary director who helps me with all things food, and I have a social-media person who runs all my social along with me. I?m very type A in that way. I like to be on top of what I?m doing and I like to be in the middle. If I feel like I have too many people running too many things, then I lose track of what?s happening and who to ask.
On finding time to write:
The cookbooks get done every 18 months. It?s the cycle that I?ve been on for ten years. I will do some of it when I?m on vacation. For some reason, being at my house, I can?t relax. There?s too many distractions, so I?ll rent a house somewhere. I like to go to the mountains or Palm Springs. For my recent one, my daughter and I went to Rome, where my mother lives.

I take some pills daily but just a multivitamin, a probiotic and d-mannose to prevent UTIs. (I learned about that from some of your comments on a story I covered about Amy Schumer?s kidney infection!) I don?t see the benefit in taking 20 pills but maybe I?m missing out on something. Her supplements sound sensible though.
At 45 I also do a lot of ?self maintenance,? but I don?t think of it as maintenance or as ?keeping up? as an older woman. I just really like fitness, meditation, painting my toenails, getting my hair done, etc. It?s not a chore to take care of myself and is a nice way to spend time.
It sounds amazing to be able to rent a house or go on vacation to get a specific task done, like writing a book. Her answer about having a ?very close knit group? of help and ?only? having one assistant, a social media person and a culinary director sounds out of touch. It?s probably rare among her circle of famous people to keep staff limited. I only have family members and friends who sometimes pick up things for me from the store when I?m busy. My kid takes out the trash and helps with the laundry and cleaning. Such a close knit group.

A week ago, we learned that Hugh Grant was finally going to get married for the first time at the age of 57. I don?t judge the ?famously unmarried? celebrities, because I too am famously unmarried and I won?t even consider marriage until a certain Argentine tennis player proposes to me. So I had made my peace with the fact that Hugh was probably never going to marry and would instead live his 50s, 60s and 70s as an old spinster, occasionally visiting his five children by two different women. But no he decided to marry one of his baby-mamas. They got married at the local register?s office.
Hugh Grant is married for the first time at 57! The Love Actually actor tied the knot with Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein in London at the Chelsea Register Office on Friday, May 25. Photos show the couple celebrating with friends and family outside of the wedding venue after tying the knot. Grant and Ebersteins wedding follows just days after the couples engagement was revealed and just months after the duo welcomed their third child together, Hughs fifth child.

It feels like it happened so long ago, but it was just in 2015 or so that Mariah Carey and Aussie billionaire James Packer started dating. They quickly became engaged in early 2016, but by 2017, the engagement was over and they were fighting about who broke up with whom. I tended to believe that Packer broke it off with Mariah, and that he regretted even getting involved with her. But, when he proposed to her, he gave her a giant 35-carat diamond engagement ring. It was and is a HUGE rock. Reportedly, Packer shelled out something like $10 million for the rock. Reportedly, Packer wanted the diamond back when he dumped Mariah and she refused, and apparently she got her way Packer must have just conceded that Mariah could keep the ring. She was still wearing the diamond ring all of last year and into this year. But now it seems like she?s sold it? for a lot less than it was reportedly worth?
Mariah Carey has sold the 35-carat diamond engagement ring James Packer gave her two years ago. The huge sparkler, widely reported to be worth $10 million, was part of the financial settlement the diva made in 2017 after her split from the Australian media baron.
?Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity,? her publicist told me. ?That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.?
A source said Carey had one of her business managers quietly sell the ring for $2.1 million to a Los Angeles jeweler.
?A confidentiality agreement was signed, but the jeweler is currently selling it, and there?s only one such ring,? my source said. ?Mariah Carey?s public relations people are desperately trying to keep the story from the press, and have threatened the jeweler with litigation if he discloses her name.?
An insider in Carey?s camp scoffed at the idea that she sold the bauble because she?s short on cash: ?She owns multiple homes, her entire catalog of music, and she?s had numerous successful tours and residencies.? The insider also said the ring was worth way less than $10 million.

I don?t know that much about the pricing on elite, one-of-a-kind jewels, but I do know that a piece of jewelry is ?worth? more given the history of a particular piece if a ring was owned by Marie Antoinette or Elizabeth Taylor, of course it?s going to be worth more. But a ring owned by Mariah Carey, from a broken engagement? I don?t know. Does that depreciate the worth? As for Mariah needing the money? both things are true. She has money, she has multiple homes, she has a catalog of songs AND she needs more money because she spends like a drunken sailor.
