Sure, she?s known for her kind persona and royal grace, but Kate Middleton is also one of the biggest fashion icons around, so it?s no surprise that famed designers like Jenny Packham are singing the Duchess? praises.
Packham has designed multiple ensembles for the brunette beauty and dished to Women?s Wear Daily that Prince William?s wife is a pleasure to work with.
"It?s always quite a collaboration," Packham explained. And when asked if they work together on beautiful getups, Jenny added, ?Absolutely.?
"Sometimes when we dress celebrities, there are always loads of Twitters and things like that when I wake up, I think, 'Oh right, she wore it,'" Packham said, referring to Kate?s recent appearance in New Zealand. "You kind of always know where it's going to be worn."
And though their collaboration seems to go off without a hitch, Jenny?s partner Matthew Anderson joked that his only complaint is Kate always wears their designs when the pair is out of down.
Anderson specifically referred to the moment when Kate left the hospital for the first time toting Prince George. She rocked a blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham fresh, to which Matthew said, ?We always seem to be away when these things happen!"

Speaking to EW last week to promoteTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fox said about the turtles, “I was really in love with them.” She explained, “I have an older sister that?s 12 years older than me, so part of it initially was because I wanted to be like my big sister. But, it?s a really cool project for me because it was a huge part of my childhood, and it?s always been.”
When asked about other cartoon remakes she’d like to do, Fox had some ideas.

Okay, so it looks like Jenny McCarthy just announced her engagement today on The View. Jenny has been dating Donnie Wahlberg for what? Less than a year ? they confirmed they were dating last summer, in July. So he proposed to her after approximately eight or nine months of dating? Okay, that?s not SO crazy. I think it?s probably about average actually. And Donnie proposed to her with an absolutely giant yellow sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Here?s Jenny freaking out as she announced it on The View:
Is this cute? I don?t know. I?m missing the bride gene, but I love jewelry so I want to talk about the ring. The ring is ridiculous. It?s so huge!!! And a yellow sapphire is a unique choice ? I guess people will probably think it?s a canary diamond because it?s basically the same color. As for Jenny?s excitement? congrats to her. How many times has she been engaged now? I think this is the fourth time?
Good luck to you too, Donnie. I actually sort of like him so I don?t know how all of this is going to end.

After nearly a one-year courtship, Jenny McCarthy announced that she's engaged to Donnie Wahlberg.
The blonde bombshell made the exciting announcement while co-hosting "The View" this morning (April 16) and excitedly announced, "I just got engaged!"
She quickly revealed her left hand from under the table and explained, "It's a yellow sapphire."
Jenny continued to discuss the proposal with tears in her eyes and shared that Donnie's son Evan helped out. During her chat, Wahlberg came out on the set to share a kiss with his bride-to-be.
The happy couple started dating last summer. It's the second marriage for both. Congrats!

E tu, Zeta?! Here are some photos of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas at the opening night of The Library (a play) in NYC. Catherine debuted some new mom bangs. So let?s discuss them. Ugh. The thing is that I?ve always loved Catherine?s hair. She has beautiful, thick hair and I like that owns her brunette. But these bangs? they are a ?NO.? It?s weird though, it?s not like they age her. They don?t. They just take away from her beauty ? she just looks normal, like a woman you might meet at the gym. I think they take away from her gorgeous almond-shaped eyes too. The bangs are too long. Ugh.
Whenever I complain about bangs and bangs trauma, there?s inevitably someone around who acts like this is brand new information that I hate almost all bangs. I just have such extreme negative associations with bangs ? I had bangs as a young girl and I hated them. I always associate them with little girls too. As in, it?s difficult for me to say that an adult woman should have bangs or that bangs are something you should try past the age of, say, 12. But of course there are exceptions. Catherine Zeta Jones is not one of those exceptions. She?s such a beautiful woman and the bangs are just so blah.
As for Michael and their marriage? I guess they?re working things out. Good for them. Michael does not look so great here, so I hope his health is still okay.

Miley Cyrus is having a very bad month. She’s still in mourning after losing her favorite dog, and she’s had to deal with her mom’s bad decision making in the aftermath. The grieving process is not kind to the immune system. Neither is the touring lifestyle. Miley’s been discussing a lingering cold/flu situation on her Twitter page for days. She had to cancel her North Carolina date last week but pushed onward. Now she’s been admitted to the hospital after having a major allergic reaction to antibiotics:
Miley Cyrus is in the hospital … after a sudden and apparently severe allergic reaction to medicine.
Miley was in Kansas City for a concert Tuesday night on her Bangerz tour. It appears Miley was at the arena — the Sprint Center — when she fell ill. We’re told she had a bad reaction to antibiotics.
Doctors ordered her on bed rest immediately.
Here’s what’s interesting … A TMZ employee happens to be in Kansas City and just texted us an hour ago telling us Miley was out shopping with her mom … so it seems whatever reaction she had was sudden.
The concert has been cancelled. She also cancelled her concert last Monday in Charlotte due to the flu.

This is very serious. I don’t know what type of meds Miley was on, but people have died after bad reactions to penicillin and other antibiotics. I doubt Miley had the flu if docs gave her antibiotics, but it was some sort of infection. Miley’s been tweeting this morning from her hospital bed. Not only did she have to cancel Kansas City, but she won’t be released for her St. Louis concert either.

When I read Gone Girl, I realized what a fascinating, weird and brilliant part ?Amy? would be for an actress. I hoped that Hollywood wouldn?t choose someone obvious like Gwyneth Paltrow or Reese Witherspoon or (God help us) Nicole Kidman. Thankfully, David Fincher signed on as director and he cast Rosamund Pike, an English actress known for her soft, sweet English beauty. The casting of Pike ? more than Ben Affleck ? convinced me that the Gone Girl adaptation is going to be good. Pike was and is an inspired choice, and I believe she?ll do an amazing job with Amy.
But for now, David Fincher is exerting his particular brand of Hitchcockian anal-retentiveness by trying to ?Rooney Mara? Pike. Fincher already photographed Pike and Affleck for Entertainment Weekly, and now he?s photographed her for W Magazine. Unlike the Mara stuff a few years ago, Fincher didn?t do a Gone Girl-themed shoot. I can?t even tell if this shoot has a theme. But Pike is beautiful and compelling. Fincher on Pike: ?I liked that people didn?t immediately know who Rosamund was? I?d always liked Rosamund in movies, but I didn?t really know her. That made her very interesting.?
Being cast as a Bond Girl on her first audition: ?Before I was cast as a Bond girl, I had never actually seen a James Bond movie. The Bond audition was strange?I?d just come back from China, doing the kind of hippie-backpacking thing that people do when they leave school. All the girls in this beautiful old town house waiting to see the casting director were sleek and dressed in what seemed to me like leather. I was wearing something very thick and woolly. I was convinced I was all wrong.?
Early fame: ?The Bond film was like an ejector seat from normality into a crazy circus world. It was trial by fire. I was 21, and I was made to look far more sophisticated than I felt. Instantly, I had to come to terms with myself as a woman and also as an object. I was looking at myself from the outside for the first time. That awareness, for any girl, is both horrible and fascinating.?
Appearing on stage in London in the play Hitchcock Blonde: ?In Hitchcock Blonde, I had to do a 10-minute nude scene. Apart from some high heels, I was completely bare onstage. The play was about the male gaze, male expectations, and, finally, female power and the lack thereof. This girl had dark secrets, but she also wanted to be adored. Until Amy, I don?t know that I?d ever seen that combination in a character.?
Getting the part of Amy: She had not been given the script but had started reading the book, and she assumed that Fincher was talking to many actresses about the role. After several weeks of conversation, Fincher asked if Pike wanted to fly to St. Louis, where he was scouting locations. ?I said, ?I?ll swim to St. Louis.? We met there for two days.?? Weeks after returning to Scotland, Pike received a text message from Fincher, saying, ?You have the part,? which she accidentally erased. ?The only evidence I have that I got the call to play Amy is a selfie of me jumping in the rain in the Highlands. I look both happy and thoroughly daunted?the whole ?You got the best gig in years? scenario gives me the creeps. But then again, I?m a very hard worker, and maybe people who have underestimated me or just thought I looked good will say they were wrong.?
Being ordered to LA very quickly: ?[The producer] only gave us four days to get to L.A. And it was good that it was that fast because there was no time for me to panic. I do remember saying to David, ?I know you know I have this character in me; you zeroed in on me for good reason.? With David Fincher, it?s like being X-rayed?he sees things that you may not want anyone to see. Now I have to prove him right?I have to show the world that I?m as dark as he thinks I am.?

Rosamund is 35 years old now, but I could easily see how she is one of those actresses (like Cate Blanchett) who can go dramatically younger or older. So, I?m not worried about the progression of the Amy character. Now, the Nick character? How in the world is Ben Affleck going to play Nick in his 20s?!?! Or does that not matter? Jesus. Also: I?m starting to get creeped out by how much control David Fincher exerts over ?his actresses.?

I?m going to date myself so much in this post, but that?s the way it goes. I came of age in the era of grunge. I think I was 13 or 14 when I first heard Pearl Jam and Nirvana. And at that time, I was friends with all of the flannel-wearing, Patchouli-smelling, Manic-Panic-hair-dyeing grunge kids. And right now, Kristen Stewart looks exactly like all of my friends at that time.
These are pics of Kristen on the NOLA set of American Ultra, the action/comedy she?s doing with Jesse Eisenberg. Is this film set in 1993? Because this entire outfit/vibe looks like 1993 to me. We actually had a preview of Kristen?s hair change a few weeks ago ? back then, it looked like she dyed her hair a light orange, but I guess the orange was just a base for the Manic Panic look. God, this makes me nostalgic. I want to get high for the first time and listen to The Cure. The only difference is that in 1993/94, we were all wearing Doc Martens, not Timberlands.
A bunch of late editions have joined the cast of this film too ? in addition to Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen will be joined with Topher Grace, Sharon Stone, Tony Hale, Bill Pullman and John Leguizamo. The basic plot: ?Eisenberg is a small-town stoner who doesn?t realize he?s a highly trained killer. Stewart plays his girlfriend.? She looks the part. But I still want to know if this is set in the early ?90s.
PS? Sources say Kristen is sad that Sparkles went to Coachella without her. But I think she?s probably just happy to be working ? she?s been doing back-to-back projects for months after not working for like two years.
PPS? Yes, she?s still smoking. I think she quit on-and-off when she was with Sparkles, but she?s been a steady smoker for more than a year, I believe.

Way back in January, we heard about Zoe Saldana’s new starring role in a remake of Rosemary’s Baby. The original 1968 film was adapted by Roman Polanski and based upon the book by Ira Levin. The movie (not the director) was a sweeping majesty of atmosphere and characterization. There was never a reason to remake this movie on either the big or small screens, but NBC couldn’t resist crafting a miniseries from the story. Seriously, they’re going to hammer four hours out of this mess.
From the looks of things, this remake makes several detours from Polanski’s classic adaptation. Zoe reprises the Mia Farrow role and plays a pregnant wife who finds out she’s carrying the spawn of Satan. The husband’s profession has changed from actor to writer, and the setting has moved from NYC to Paris. Creepy neighbors with an ulterior motive are still present. Whether or not you’ve seen the original movie, I think you’ll agree that NBC wasted its efforts with this trailer:
Poor Zoe. She’s wearing an awful wig, and this is a silly remake. I have to wonder why Zoe’s agent okayed her signing onto a television remake in the first place. Zoe may not technically be an A-list star, but she’s starred in several high profile movies. She’s part of the Avatar and Star Trek franchises and has a plum role in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. She’s done some indie cred movies. I don’t get why she’d gain anything from a network remake of a horror movie? This movie looks like it spent all of its budget on casting. The lighting and atmosphere are terrible, and the sound effects (as revealed) do not lend any suspense. As Vulture notes, the screenwriters couldn’t even get the grammar right in the trailer.

Showing some love to their Australian fans, Prince William and Kate Middleton showed up at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday afternoon (April 16).
As expected, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a warm welcome as they greeted the crowd that gathered for some face time with the Royals and the little Prince George of Cambridge.
And Kate made quite an impression with her bold yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress, a summery compliment to her husband?s handsome blue suit.
The Prince told his guests, ?There cannot be a more impressive place than the iconic Sydney Opera House to begin our first visit together to Australia. For Catherine, Harry and me, born in the early 80s, we?ve never known anything else - Australia and Australians have always been for us a beacon of confidence, creativity in the arts and sporting ability.?

Candice, as you may know, is one of the rare Victoria?s Secret models who has never officially dated Leonardo DiCaprio. At least? not to my memory. But that?s not her only claim to fame: back in 2011, there was a lot of concern-trolling about Candice?s seemingly radical weight loss. She?s a slender model and always has been, but there were some photos where she looked especially skinny, and everyone was like ?OMG, what happened?? Well, Candice has a new interview with The Telegraph, and she talks about how her metabolism is crazy (eye-roll) and she actually has to make an effort to put on weight before a Victoria?s Secret runway show:
Sitting opposite a glowing Candice Swanepoel at this morning’s press call where it was revealed that the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be staged in London, the South African beauty opened up about how nerve-wracking she finds the annual lingerie extravaganza.
“I get so nervous, it’s terrible,” the 25-year-old told The Telegraph, explaining how stress takes its toll on her weight. “I get nervous about three weeks before the show. Last year I had to take a week off, because I get really nervous and all the muscle that I’ve built up I lose it really quickly if I get stressed out. So I took my trainer to Brazil where I can eat a lot of meat because I like to be a little bigger for the show, just to feel sexier and more womanly.”
Explains Candice: “I have a furious metabolism, especially when I travel so much. I can’t really do too much cardio or that sort of thing.”
The Victoria’s Secret Angels are known for posting pictures of their amped-up workouts in the run-up to the show to make sure they look their best, and it’s not difficult to appreciate the pressure they feel; the broadcast is watched by millions of viewers worldwide.
“It’s a big event for us. And you know you’re going to be wearing very little, and there’s going to be pictures all over the world the next day,” she adds.
The blonde says she has a sweet tooth: “I love cakes and ice cream but I’m not crazy – I like a little taste and then I’m fine,” and also loves Brazilian food, which is where her boyfriend Hermann Nicoli hails from and is the place she calls home alongside New York.

Ah, to have those kinds of problems. I almost always dislike when some beautiful model with a crazy body is all ?Oh, I totally eat steak and potato chips and chocolate.? Mostly because it just seems like a lie. You know most of these women are smoking and dieting to keep the weight off before a big show. It feels like Candice is basically on The Zone Diet ? she?s doing a lot of meat, and she likes sweet stuff but she?ll only take a bite or two. But really, all of this sounds like such horses?t.

More photos from the promotional tour for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. These pics are all from the cast?s stop in Berlin on Tuesday. As I previewed yesterday, during the day Emma wore a heavy, blue, sleeved Erdem Fall 2014, with red bejeweled appliques. I?m not a fan of the look, although the color is pretty on Emma. Then for the evening premiere, Emma wore this Chanel gown with a full skirt and a Pink thing up top. I?m really sorry for everyone who loves Chanel and thinks Karl Lagerfeld can do no wrong, but THIS IS AWFUL. Why? WHY?! This doesn?t even look like couture. This looks like some home-sewn crap that you would buy at a gas station in Santa Fe. The appliques don?t make it fancy, they just confuse everything.
As for Andrew Garfield? I didn?t realize he was such a naturalist. As in, he?s got a touch of the Shailene Woodley to him. If Andrew had a beav, he?d wave it around in the sunshine.
It’s a good thing Andrew Garfield loves the skin he’s in. After all, the actor’s unforgiving costume in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 leaves little to the imagination. As if his red and blue spandex suit weren’t revealing enough, Garfield is quite comfortable in the buff.
“I love being naked. It’s important to be naked and be in touch with our bodies and not have shame about what we’re made of,” he tells Metro UK. “I love being in touch with nature and my own nature.”
Last month, the cheeky Brit joked that his girlfriend and co-star Emma Stone gave his package in the movie a thumbs-up. “It takes a lot of consideration because you don’t want it to be overwhelming and also you don’t want it to be underwhelming,” Garfield, 30, joked during an Australian TV interview. “You don’t want it to intimidate and you don’t want it to the opposite of intimidate.”
“So, yes there is thought,” he added, “but ultimately you have to trust that what you have is enough.” Garfield then joked, “I had one focus group?and that focus group was Emma. She approved.”

Sunshine dong. Why doesn?t Benedict Cumberbatch ever talk like this? We could literally spend a week on one Benedict Cumberbatch interview if he ever discussed walking around naked and wanting the Cumberdong to fly freely in the sunshine. But we get Andrew Garfield instead. To be fair, though, I think most dudes are like this. Most dudes are totally fine walking around naked. But most dudes don?t do it because they want to feel one with nature. They do it because they think they look awesome and they want everyone to look at it.

She’s not doing anything particularly interesting here except for walking with two Starbucks cups and listening to her iPod. She’s always listening to music, and I like to imagine that she’s jamming out to Eminem. That second coffee cup has to belong to someone else, right? Suri’s too young for sudden spikes of caffeine.
I’ve nearly given up all dreams of Katie buying coffee for Jamie Foxx, so she’s probably not saving that second cup for him. The tabloids are abuzz with who Katie should date next. Last week’s issue of Star pushed a story about Katie hooking up with Jason Segel, but Katie’s rep shot that story down. On the surface, Katie and Jason would be a cute couple. There would be some awkwardness from Jason dating Katie’s ex-Dawson’s Creek costar, Michelle Williams. Jason also has some history with substance abuse, and I think that would be a deal breaker for Katie. She needs her first real post-Tom Cruise relationship to be a lighthearted one, so I won’t ship a Segel-Holmes coupling.
What do you think of Katie’s fashion choices here? She’s no longer a designer since Holmes & Yang folded, so she’s free to wear whatever she wants without true scrutiny. She has freed herself from neither fug booties nor skinny jeans.

These are photos of Jenni “J-Woww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. We skipped these two ladies in our coverage, but you probably didn’t notice (I won’t judge!). Jenni (who is belly cupping with pride) is now 6 months pregnant with her first child. She announced her pregnancy in December with a sonogram Christmas card. Many of you agreed that this is a strange method to announce that one is with child, but we are talking about a reality tv star. J-Woww is all about the glitter and Pink diamond engagement rings, so posting an online photo of her uterus is right up her alley. Expected even.
Jenni has continued to update the internet with details of her pregnancy. It’s a girl! She recently posted updated sonogram photos (which I won’t post here). J-Woww had a brief scare where she found out her daughter had a small cyst on her brain, but the doctor reassured her that this is a rare but usually benign occurence. The cyst has gone into remission, and now Jenni is left to ride out the last trimester of her pregnancy. She’s feeling uncomfortable like most women feel during her last months:

“[Polizzi] loves being pregnant right now and I f—king hate it,” Farley, 28, told Us Weekly at Sunday?s MTV Movie Awards. “I’m not a fan of pregnancy right now with my thighs touching and my boobs changing but I know it will be worth it and hopefully I get back to that really quickly.”
The Jersey Shore buddies showed off their matching baby bumps at the awards show at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles over the weekend.
While she may not love the experience right now, her pal Polizzi (who is mom to 1-year-old Lorenzo) thinks Farley will adapt to motherhood.
“I know she is going to be a great mom,” Polizzi, 26, told the magazine. “She took care of me for four years on Jersey Shore. The whole labor thing she is really nervous about but anybody is nervous about that.”
Farley announced that she and fianc Roger Mathews were expecting their first child on Christmas Day.
Rumors began swirling that Snooki and fianc Jionni LaValle, were expecting their second child in February. The pint-sized reality star finally confirmed the news earlier this month.

J-Woww’s body will probably bounce back in no time when she gives birth. She has a long, lean build, and she usually focuses on strength training to keep up her muscle factor. She’ll be fine. I can’t speak for grumpy Roger, but Jenni will find her way. She had a very maternal way about her on the Jersey Shore, and that will come back when she needs it.
As for Snooki … yes, she’s pregnant for the second time. I’ve stopped watching the girls’ MTV show. Are Jionni and Snooki are still living in his parents’ basement? If so, that arrangement will get crowded really fast. These crazy kids.

Gwyneth Paltrow?s son Moses turned 8 years old last week. Time flies, right? Apple is what? Ten years old? Let me see… she?ll be ten in May. Crazy. So, while Chris Martin was in Brooklyn without his wedding ring, Gwyneth organized a birthday party for her son and his friends. And Moses must have begged and begged because there was peasant food at the party. Peasant food like? HOT DOGS. And Indian food. GASP.
Party at the Paltrows! Gwyneth Paltrow threw a fun-filled birthday bash for her 8-year-old son Moses at her home in L.A.’s Brentwood nabe on Saturday, April 12. An eyewitness tells Us Weekly the Goop founder — who announced her split from husband Chris Martin last month — “went all out” for her son’s eighth birthday party.
“Everything took place in the backyard,” the insider tells Us, adding that the set-up of the driveway included blue ombre-faded balloons spelling out the letters “M-O-S-E-S” beside the number “8.” The guest list included 20 of Moses’ friends and a few of 9-year-old Apple’s pals, too.
“Colorful tables were set up everywhere,” the eyewitness recalls, “and hula hoops and balls for the kids to play with.” Along with the toys, the backyard featured a giant inflatable bounce house in the style of a pirate ship. But that’s not all! A magician was also on-site to entertain the kids.
For lunch, the kids and adults enjoyed delightful treats catered by food trucks, including gourmet hotdog vendor Dogtown Dogs and L.A.’s beloved “chow truck” India Jones. Specialties included hot dogs topped with Fritos and Indian street food like samosas, curry and Indian tacos, the source says.
The party ended at around 4 p.m. in the afternoon. Some of the guests were spotted leaving in airbrushed T-shirts, designed at the party, which included each kid’s name and a design of his or her choice.

Hot dogs with Fritos?!?! What in the world? And do young kids really like all of that spicy Indian food? I couldn?t stand it when I was little, but I?ve developed a taste for it as an adult. I would have never thought that an eight-year-old?s birthday party would be the perfect time for Indian food. But that?s why Gwyneth Paltrow is better than all of us. See? She?s multicultural! She had Indian food! And hot dogs! I bet she had a migraine all day about feeding her innocent children that kind of food. Someone probably found her in a corner, rocking back and forth and whispering, ?Just for the day? just for the day?tomorrow the juice fast begins…?

When Kim Kardashian was in Paris on Monday, she and Kanye stopped by Balmain during their whirlwind shopping trip/wedding venue hunt. Kim has been wearing some Balmain stuff lately, although we mostly take note when she?s wearing something especially hideous from Givenchy (Riccardo Tisci is such a passive-aggressive bitch). But the black velvet outfit that Kim wore around Paris was Balmain (but that tacky gold belt was Judith Leiber, a name which Kim misspelled on her IG).
Anyway, as it turns out, Kim is tight with Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of the House of Balmain. He went with her to the darling little French chateau which she and Kanye might use as a wedding venue. And not only that, but Kim and Olivier spent some time in some kind of aquarium-porium (fishporium?) where they took a bunch of photos. Olivier posted the photos to HIS Instagram. Which means he?s down with Kanye and Kim. The Vogue cover is working, people. Olivier even called Kim his ?morning mermaid?. Barf.
So, will Kim wear Balmain for the wedding? I really don?t think Balmain is an option. I think she HAS to wear Givenchy. Riccardo Tisci was one of the first designers to really befriend Kim when she first got with Kanye, and Riccardo and Kanye really are so tight. It has to be Givenchy, right?
