"I love it, I'm really excited about this record," she told MTV News recently.

She’s always expressed her love for Daisy, so it’s no wonder that Jessica Simpson is taking serious action in attempt to locate her beloved pet pooch.
Just yesterday, the “Angels” singer posted a terrifying message on Twitter that read, “My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”
Since then, Ms Simpson has contacted Colleen Busch, the public relations director for FindToto.com, to magnify the search and send out an “amber alert” for her missing Daisy.
Busch says, “We called 1,000 neighbors in the surrounding area [Wednesday morning] and sent out a 30-second message with details about Daisy and her disappearance, and details on how to get in touch with Jessica’s assistant.”

I don?t really understand the intricacies of football, but I do know this: Michael Vick got Kendra Wilkinson?s husband Hank Baskett fired. In a manner of speaking at least. Baskett, who up until yesterday was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, was let go from the team in order to make room for Vick. Who is apparently incredibly popular amongst NFL fans ? his jersey is the fourth best selling in the league.
Michael Vick can throw passes to his teammates instead of ball boys. The Philadelphia Eagles elevated Vick to the team’s 53-man roster Tuesday, a move that allows the quarterback to practice with the team. Wide receiver Hank Baskett was released to make room for Vick, who is eligible to play Sept. 27 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Vick will begin practicing with the team Wednesday, though he cannot play in Sunday’s home opener against the New Orleans Saints. Vick was suspended for the first two regular-season games as the final league penalty for his role in running a dogfighting ring.
?Vick was brought in to give the Eagles another dimension on offense. He ran Philadelphia’s version of the wildcat offense and took some snaps as a traditional QB under center in two preseason games. The Eagles were heavily criticized by animal rights activists for signing Vick less than a month after he finished serving 18 months in federal prison. Dozens of protesters voiced their outrage outside the team’s practice facility the day after Vick was signed, and many fans threatened to give up their tickets.
A month later, Vick’s jersey is the fourth-highest seller in the NFL behind Brett Favre, Jay Cutler and Troy Polamalu. The league rankings are based on the sales period from April 1 to Aug. 28, so Vick ? and Favre, for that matter ? had plenty of catching up to do since both joined their teams last month.
Baskett was one of seven receivers the Eagles carried on their 53-man roster through Week 1. He became expendable after Philadelphia selected Jeremy Maclin in the first round of April’s draft and added Brandon Gibson in the sixth round. Baskett had 72 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns in 48 games with the Eagles.

I feel badly for Hank. I don?t know why but I really like the guy. He just strikes me as genuine and all-around nice. Generally speaking I think Kendra Wilkinson is pretty lucky to have landed him. And to lose your spot on your team to slime like Michael Vick has got to make the whole thing Sting even worse. It is unconscionable to say that the only thing that matters is that the guy?s a good football player. I don?t care how great his skills, you do something like Michael Vick did and you don?t deserve any second chances.
I?m guessing that Kendra and Hank aren?t exactly strapped for money, thanks to their reality show. And they?ve got their first baby due in January, so he?s got a lot of other things on his plate. Hopefully he?ll get picked up by another team that eventually kicks the Eagles? ass.

Yikes. I?ve just been looking at the slideshow for Megan Fox?s Rolling Stone cover shoot, and this sh-t is not good. First, the cover shot - what were they thinking?!? Mark Seliger is the photographer, and he must have said, ?Let?s throw a Victoria?s Secret leotard from 1994 on Megan, get her to spread her legs for the camera and see how cheap we can make her look!? Also: Mouth-breather alert! There are eight images in all in the slideshow, and Megan only has her mouth closed in one of the photos. That?s bad enough, but the way the shoot was styled is epically ghastly. These look like cheap, terribly lit outtakes from an ?adult film? starring Jenna Jameson.
As far as the full Rolling Stone interview, it hasn?t been put up yet, but Us Weekly does have some excerpts. Note: earlier today, we covered Page Six?s excerpt from the interview too - in which Megan was describing her relationship with Brian Austin Green and she said: ?”I?ve had to say to Brian, ?You have to go and stop talking to me, because I?m going to kill you. I?m going to stab you with something. Please leave.? I?d never own a gun for that reason. I wouldn?t shoot to kill. But I would shoot him in the leg, for sure.? Now we?re being ?treated? to more of Megan’s stupid bulls- ? ugh, just read it:
In her new Rolling Stone interview, the Jennifer’s Body star, 23, admits she used to cut herself.
“Yeah,” she replied when asked if she’s ever cut herself. “But I don’t want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they?re growing up, when they?re miserable and do different things, whether it?s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting.”
(Interestingly, Angelina Jolie — to whom Fox has been compared — has admitted she used to cut herself as a teen.)
Asked if she has ever had an eating disorder, Fox remained mum.
“If I did talk about it, I?d be taking on a role-model status, and I?d have to choose my words very carefully, and I?d have to make sure I reveal it in a specific way, and I don?t want to do it,” she said.
But the Tennesse native didn’t hold back when talking about her low self-esteem.
“I?m really insecure about everything,” said Fox. “I never think I?m worthy of anything… I have a sick feeling of being mocked all the time. I have a lot of self-loathing.”
Still, she said, “Self-loathing doesn?t keep me from being happy. But that doesn?t mean I don?t struggle. I am very vulnerable. But I can be aggressive, hurtful, domineering and selfish, too. I?m emotionally unpredictable and all over the place. I?m a control freak.”

Oh, for the love of God. First the schizophrenia and now she?s a cutter but she ?doesn?t want to talk about it?. That sounds? [sarcasm] believable. No, of course that?s not something she just said just so people would pay attention to her, right? For the record - I?m aware that some girls do go through a stage where they cut and self-harm. It?s a big deal, and should be treated very seriously. What I don?t care for is Megan?s whole vibe of ?Oh, yeah, I?m a cutter, but I don?t call myself that, and I don?t want to talk about it even though I brought it up.? Since the Us Weekly piece brought up Angelina Jolie, let me point out - when Angelina talked about being a cutter, she spoke about it with a lot of honesty, and went into detail about why she did it and how she was feeling. She spoke about it through the scope of trying to educate and explain, not as some quick, asinine ?look at me, I?m so weird!? poseur hit. Gah! I need to go bang my head against a wall.

The former “Lizzie McGuire” star hit up the Dean & Dan Caten DSQUARED2 Eyewear celebration, posing for pictures in a stylish black ensemble.

It?s rather pointless to wonder what?s wrong with Lindsay Lohan anymore. There are people who you can tell are going through a phase, and then there are people who you can tell that?s just who they are. Lindsay isn?t just some carless girl acting out in her early twenties. This is who she is, and I honestly feel it?s who she always will be. Mostly it?s a numbers game: she just has too many issues working against her. And not enough going for her in terms of intellect and self-awareness. But Lindsay?s not content with merely destroying her own life ? she?s got to bring others down with her.
According to Life & Style, Lindsay?s become super close with her 15-year-old sister Ali. From what I?ve noticed it seems like they?ve always been fairly close, especially considering there?s an 8 year age difference between them. And technically Lindsay lives on the west coast while Ali lives on Long Island with their mom. But apparently in the last year or so, as Lindsay?s fallen farther and farther into the crazy pit, she?s been relying more and more on Ali ? to the point that Ali has dropped out of high school to spend all her time with Lindsay. Technically she?s in a home school program, but no one believes she?s really doing it; it?s just for legality?s sake. And that?s just the icing on the cake.
Considering Lindsay Lohan?s history with drugs and alcohol ? including arrests for drunk driving and cocaine possession, along with multiple stints in rehab ? the last place the star should be hanging out is a bar. But what made her 11:30 p.m. outing to LA?s Crown Bar on Sept. 4 especially shocking was Lindsay?s companion: her 15-year-old sister, Ali. ?I couldn?t believe Ali was there,? one guest tells Life & Style. ?They partied until after 1 a.m., and she treated Ali as if she were just one of her friends at the club with her. And Ali was excited to be there. She loved being out on the scene with her sister. It was as if she knew she belonged there.?
The girls? father, Michael Lohan, thinks Ali?s strong enough to resist temptation. ?I?m glad Lindsay and Ali remain so close,? he tells Life & Style. ?However, they?re independent people and are capable of making their own decisions.?
But Ali?s already in dangerous territory. Near the end of last year, she stopped going to school, and Lindsay took her in. ?Ali is enrolled in a homeschool program,? mom Dina tells Life & Style. Now, despite an eight-year age difference, the sisters are like twins, dressing alike, looking shockingly skinny and sporting plumped-up lips. ?Anything Lindsay does, Ali wants to do,? a family insider says. Ali?s also witness to the chaos of Lindsay?s romance with Samantha Ronson. Early in the morning of Sept. 12, the couple had one of their regular blowouts and split up yet again, says the family insider.

It?s strange to me that in California people under 21 are allowed in bars ? even little kids. I thought that the rule was as long as they?re accompanied by a parent or guardian, but I guess that?s not the case or the story would have a law breaking angle to it. When I lived in Seattle I knew a former Californian who constantly complained about Washington?s draconian bar laws. She used to like to plop her kids in a booth with a burger and then try to pick up men. How annoying to put a crimp in her lifestyle. Nonetheless, from what I can tell Lindsay and Ali weren?t breaking any laws by being in the bar, but obviously any drinking would have been a crime. As is the smoking.
I understand that Lindsay wants company and to feel less lonely. She needs some legit, honest friends. But how could any sibling watch her sister smoke at that age? It seems like she?s probably even encouraging it. I?m guessing it gives Lindsay a sense of camaraderie. Same with the dressing and shrinking alike. But doesn?t some sense of responsibility kick in, just out of familial love? I get that Lindsay doesn?t ever feel responsible for herself, but how could an older sister not feel protective?
The entire story is so sad and so selfish. Lindsay?s determined to turn Ali into her. That way she won?t ever have to be envious. If she messes her up as much as possible now, there?s nothing for her to worry about later on. The entire thing is about meeting Lindsay?s needs. Naturally the next question is ?What?s wrong with the parents?? but that?s been asked so many times about the Lohans that there?s no point in even thinking about it anymore. No one in that family gives a sh*t about anyone but themselves. Which doesn?t make it any easier to watch them take each other down.

Looking to expand her family to four, Jenna Elfman announced that she’s currently pregnant with a sibling for her 2-year-old son Story Elias.
The “Dharma and Greg” actress broke the good news during a promotional appearance on “The Early Show” for her new gig “Accidentally on Purpose.”
Jenna said, “I have a baby in my tummy – but a real one, not just for my TV show. My character’s pregnant the whole first season, so I said, ‘It’s a good time to have another baby, because we won’t have to hide it.’”
She continued, “By episode three if you look closely once it airs, you’ll see ... ‘Oh is she a little bloated? Did she have a big dinner?’”

Elisabetta seems to be getting the ?thumbs up? from Matt Damon in a new People Magazine interview, so I suppose Clooney must have let her out of the Toronto dungeon for a short time. Matt said, ?She is a really, really wonderful woman?It’s nice to see my friend so happy.? Yeah? Matt?s seen it all before. He?s not holding his breath, waiting for Clooney to settle down. Finally, we have George discussing his hatred for social networking sites - he said this at a press conference in Toronto: “I would rather have a rectal examination on live TV by a fellow with cold hands than have a Facebook page.” This isn?t so surprising - George is rather famously anti-technology (in his personal life). Last year he did an Esquire cover interview where he and the reporter basically sat around watching YouTube videos, like the one for ?2 Girls 1 Cup?. It was a funny interview - and I really like George?s line about Facebook.

Some days, I need some Clive Owen. Just looking at pictures of his piercing, intense, brooding green eyes and his jet-black hair lifts my spirits. It?s always a good day when I can eyef-ck Clive. So today is a good day. Clive is the cover boy for the October issue of Details Magazine. And I get to read his dark, brooding words too? except Clive in interviews is rarely dark and brooding. He usually pretty pleasant, revealing himself to be one of the most well-adjusted actors out there. Unfortunately, the interview takes place at a graveyard, so that adds to the general morose atmosphere. Was the interview done by a 14-year-old goth chick? I don?t know. Clive talks about his new film out in November, The Boys Are Back, which is based on a memoir of a widower sports writer who finds himself raising two young sons alone.
On his working-class background: ?It was a very, very working-class family,” he says as he takes his seat at the caf. His parents split when he was 3, and he was brought up?the fourth of five brothers?by his mother and stepfather. “It was fine,” he says, trying to shift the subject moments after it’s raised. “It wasn’t an unhappy experience?everybody struggled.”
On fame: “It’s all about how you conduct yourself,” Owen says when asked how a movie star can live such a seemingly normal life. “I’m quite good at getting on with my thing. I feel I’m pretty nifty; I can spot trouble coming. I’ve been in certain situations where people have been drinking a lot.” He pauses. “It’s going to get a little uncomfortable now and then.”
On his wife, Sarah-Jane Fenton, and how they met when they were cast as Romeo and Juliet: ?Yes,” he says, “a clich. I fell in love with her the minute she came in. She was late, she had these glasses and a pile of secondhand books, and there was something about her straightaway.” She gave up acting not long before they had their first child, and she is now training to become a therapist. “There’s no regret or resentment,” Owen says of the different paths their careers have taken. “She always smiles and looks at what acting can be like, and it’s a relief to her that she’s not doing it.”
On traveling so much: “There have been times in the past when it’s become clear that there needs to be a break,” he says. “Too much working. Too much going away. You just stop. As things have opened up for me, I call it. I say, ‘I’m sorry, you want to film then? I can’t do it.’”
On his own family drama: “I knew those scenes very well,” he says as he finishes his coffee. He’s talking about his own family drama, which involved his relationship with his dad, who sought him out when he was 20, after a 17-year absence. “It was a very bizarre experience, looking at someone you’ve never known and going, ‘Oh my God, that’s my father.’”
On future projects: A lot of what he’s reading is “not very good,” he says. “And these are films that are funded and ready to go?expensive movies. You’re amazed that people are funding them. I start to think it’s me?that I’m being too choosy.”
On the being an actor: “I got in a cab in Glasgow years ago,” he says. “And this quite surly cabdriver says to me, ‘You’re that actor, aren’t you? You get paid to lie, don’t you? That’s what actors are, aren’t they? Professional bullshitters.’ It had quite an effect on me. I fucking get paid to lie. . . . I walked out of there and I spent a bit of time thinking about it. And then I realized I think it’s the opposite: It’s an opportunity to tell the truth. I try to do that in everything I do. And whether you like a movie I’m in or not, I want you to believe me. More than admire me or think I was brilliantly skillful, I want you to believe me.”
The Boys Are Back director Scott Hicks on Clive: “I’ve walked with him through [London's] Soho, and occasionally someone will notice him, but he doesn’t turn on this high-wattage projection, and people respect that,” Hicks says. “I get the impression that he’s content with what he has. That’s a rare quality in the movie world, where no matter how much people have got, they want more.”

Sigh. I love this man. I?ve started to get a slight ?curmudgeon? vibe off Clive, but somehow that just makes him sexier. I love when he talks about his wife and his two daughters, but mostly I just love him, the man. I even learned something new about Clive - I didn?t realize he had been estranged from his father at all, let alone for such a long time. As far as the movie goes, it sounds a little weird, doesn?t it? Not really a family film, but too kid-oriented to be a straight drama? Well? I?ll probably still see it, because it?s Clive. I sat through that crapfest The International for my Clive, and this one can?t be worse. By the way, I just rented Duplicity two weekends ago, and I loved it. I would highly recommend it if anyone if looking for a good, sexy Clive movie. And Julia Roberts wasn?t even half-way annoying! Hurray!

The “Bourne Ultimatum” stud was all smiles as he posed for the paparazzi, sporting a dapper black suit with a white button-up and a black tie.
In the film, Matt plays Mark Whitacre, an agricultural company’s vice president who becomes an FBI informant.

Enjoying the Big Apple happenings, Kirsten Dunst came out to catch the latest fashions at Rodarte Spring 2010 fashion show in NYC on Tuesday (September 15).
The lovely actress looked stunning in a copper, sparkling dress matched with black tights and black pumps as she chatted with friends before the show.
Meanwhile, “Spider-Man 4” news is coming out! Kirsten will officially be taking over her role as Mary Jane Watson once again, whose future for the series was unknown for awhile.
Also announced was that “Spider-Man 4” will first hit IMAX theaters on May 5 in 2011, as well as worldwide. The last two “Spider-Man” sagas were available in IMAX theaters and the crew cannot wait to continue on with the fourth.
Previously, Sony Pictures heads Amy Pascal and Michael Lynton mentioned that “Spider-Man 4” might film in 3-D, citing James Cameron’s “Avatar” as a potential game-changer in the movie scene. While news on the movie taking 3-D is still to be announced, IMAX is a sure thing.

Yesterday we covered Jennifer Aniston’s recent interview in Hello! Magazine, in which she claimed that she didn’t think much about her appearance, and wouldn’t say whether or not she was dating Gerard Butler, but called him “magical” and “fantastic.” Aniston’s rep clarified that Aniston gave those comments in a press conference, and not to Hello! exclusively. It’s a subtle difference, but it’s not like she didn’t say it. I think the problem is that when multiple outlets report quotes without giving the context it makes it look like the celebrity is repeating themselves. Aniston is often a victim of this, but she also throws a lot out for the wolves to gnaw on.
I was all for Aniston when she made the “uncool” statement to Vogue nine months ago, because it seemed to signify a new kind of candor from her. Now that she’s given many more interviews, I get the impression that she throws a lot out there, sees what sticks and then blames the media for focusing on what she says. She called the “lonely girl” headlines after her best friend interviewed her for Elle “bullsh*t,” but she did discuss that issue in detail. It’s like she plays the game and knows the rules but then calls it unfair.
In a recent interview in Parade Magazine, Aniston gave many more quotable statements, including the fact that she enjoys self help books and finds celebrity gossip embarrassing - for consumers like us who find it fun. She also loves cleaning toilets because it was her chore as a child. I love cleaning the bathroom for the same reason - is that weird? My husband doesn’t mind. (These are not presented in the same order as on Parade.com)
Keeping the lid on her personal life.
“I feel like it’s no one’s business. I don’t know about your life. I don’t want to, truthfully. It’s not my business. It’s a very strange thing. But somehow it’s like there was some clause somewhere that said, ‘Well, you’re a public person so we get to go into your house and search through your drawers.’ I don’t know who came up with it because I wouldn’t have signed on. I don’t think anybody would have.”
But fans can’t seem to get enough.
“It’s embarrassing that people are focused so much and putting so much money into gossip magazines to escape. The paparazzi and the magazines deserve their share of the blame, but they’re just supplying a demand. It’s unfortunate that people don’t care that they’ve been lied to, they don’t care that they’re being sort of messed with and not given the full truth. They buy them anyway.”
There’s nothing wrong with a little advice.
“I’m always going to be interested if somebody gives me a self-help book. I’ll at least give it the first couple of pages because sometimes they speak and sometimes they don’t. But they’re worth investigating.”
And don’t criticize her for it.
“I say to people who look down their noses at motivational books, ‘Screw them.’ I’m telling you, people have got to mind their own business. It just shows, so obviously, their own fear or resentment. They put down somebody else’s choice to sort of make themselves feel superior. They could probably use a little self-help themselves.”
Learning about romance from doing romantic movies.
“They probably don’t help because one is work and one is life. I certainly try to access my personal life when I’m doing my job. But you know what they say, ‘Art imitates life, life imitates art.’”
Her own prescription for living.
“I say, ‘Stay positive.’ It doesn’t mean that we can get through anything. But we have to recognize that it’s fear that sort of sets everything on fire and spreads until everybody kind of gets on the fear bandwagon. That’s just ridiculous.”
How to argue with someone you care about.
“I’m not a fighter, I’m a discusser. I could probably use more fight in me. I don’t yell. I talk. I can get dirty. I’ve been guilty of dirty fighting. But usually I don’t like to fight. I like it to be harmonious and fun. So the quicker we can discuss an issue and get through it, the sooner we get back to the fun.”
The rocky road to success.
“I made my allowance as a kid cleaning toilets. I’m actually pretty good at it. I grew up with absolutely no money at all. I struggled for a while, but I was happy with my life whether I was making this amount of money, or that amount of money. I always enjoyed where I was working. I loved being a waitress. OK, I didn’t like time-share selling, I hated that job. But people used to say to me, ‘You need to focus on having ambition.’ And I guess sort of following that advice allowed a lot to come to me. There’s just been a great ease with that evolvement in my life to being an actress. I didn’t change that much, but my bank account changed.”

I like self help books too, but I realize they’re not for everyone and that they can be trite and oversimplified. If someone doesn’t agree I wouldn’t put them down or anything. Some of it is absolute drivel but I still enjoy it.
It’s hard to relate to the “gossip sucks” mentality, because it’s fun to know what’s going on with people. A lot of us know that much of it is made up, but we still like to read about it - just like Aniston enjoys self help books. I’m sure we’d all feel differently if our life experiences were twisted and fabricated to sell magazines. Maybe we’d change and start giving confusing and kind of defensive answers in interviews.
Does Aniston need to do all this press for her film? If it bothers her, maybe she should take a break. She can put movies out without making herself so vulnerable and uncomfortable if that’s what’s going on with her. I get the impression that she does press and just hates the aftermath. Is there any way she can escape the box she’s been placed in by the media? It’s like no matter what she says it doesn’t matter and she knows it.

In a recent interview in Rolling Stone Magazine, Megan Fox was talking about her on-again relationship with Brian Austin Green. She confesses to having a ?ridiculously bad? temper, and says (via Page Six), ?I’ve had to say to Brian, ‘You have to go and stop talking to me, because I’m going to kill you. I’m going to stab you with something, please leave.’ I’d never own a gun for that reason. I wouldn’t shoot to kill. But I would shoot him in the leg, for sure.” I never thought I?d say this, but poor BAG. I don?t know how he puts up with her.
In other Megan Fox news, she finally responded to that open letter written by three unnamed Transformers crew members. The letter slammed Megan as an unprofessional Valley girl, and a ?thankless, classless, graceless bitch.? Not only did she respond, but another crew member wrote another letter defending Megan from their attacks:
Fox herself commented on the drama exclusively to EW. ?I have spoken with the parties involved privately,? Fox said in a statement, via her publicist. ?I am very fortunate to be involved in this amazing franchise and look forward to Transformers 3.?
But wait! There?s another twist. On Tuesday, yet another letter surfaced, from yet another Transformers crew member. (This one, however, is signed.) Below, printed in full, is production assistant Anthony Steinhart?s defense of Fox. He responds to the criticism ? both the minutiae and broader strokes ? in the original letter.
?First of all, I would like people to know (for those who are interested) the reason why I am writing this letter is to clear my name in any of this Ms. Fox bashing. As someone pointed out in one of the responses, you could narrow down the list of potential writers of the letter by looking on IMDB. I have received a few phone calls from people who have read the letter and they know that I have worked closely with the actors/actresses on the film, so I felt I should at least clear my name.?
?My name is Anthony Steinhart and I have worked on both Transformers movies and have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Fox.?
?I read the letter by the three unnamed crew people and was blown away by their description of Ms. Fox. Especially, since I am the one usually getting Ms. Fox at her trailer. I have personally never been nor ever witnessed Ms. Fox being rude or inconsiderate of people?s feelings or the work to be done. Everyone is entitled to their good days and bad. Contrary to popular belief, she is like us (human) and has both good and bad days as well. Working on the Transformers movies can be intense at times and sometimes intense situations cause intense moments.?
?Some of the examples the three unnamed writers give as evidence of Ms. Fox and her horrible attitude are so ridiculous.?
?It?s unfortunate the grip didn?t want to bring his daughter to set because Megan Fox wasn?t nice and not the fact that we had a closed to set. No visitors unless approved by the UPM [unit production manager]. That is what the call sheets have always said. By the way, Ms. Fox wished my 12-year-old brother a happy birthday over the phone while we were shooting in New Mexico. Not so heartless??
?It?s also unfortunate that she didn?t attend any of the ?15? parties, but I clearly remember her hanging out in New Mexico with some of the crew and watching her get hounded by passers-by as she walked through the hotel lobby and being nothing but gracious to her fans. Also isn?t it refreshing to hear that she doesn?t need to be a part of the party machine that sometimes swallows people whole, only to spit them out on the front page of every magazine. And incidentally, if these crew members were at the wrap party, I only saw 2 cast members there. Granted I wasn?t there the whole night, but I was there long enough to know that the others probably weren?t going to show.?
?I also remember walking with her through the hordes of people lined up, while we shot at Princeton and she signed autograph after autograph. She signed many publicity photos, magazines, pieces of white paper for crew members and their families. Now I know that isn?t the same as curing a disease, but if we are to take anything an actor/actress says or does to personally, then I fear we have far greater problems on our hands.?
?Unfortunately, I don?t always keep up with or hang on to quotes and/or quips ?actresses? say, so I wasn?t familiar with the incident that incited the tasteless letter, but none-the-less leave the war of words to those involved. No need to drag her name through the mud and at the same time, unknowingly, bring others down.?

Well? I tend to believe in a little from column A and a little from column B. There?s no question in my mind that Megan could use some lessons in how to be more professional and gracious, and I?m just judging that from her public statements. As far as her private behavior, or second-hand accounts of how she acts on set, my guess is that she probably isn?t as bad as the original open letter would suggest. Bottom line - she needs to grow up, and she needs to have a better understanding of how idiotic and nasty she sounds in interviews. And Michael Bay needs to stop with feeding the beast.

Is it any secret that I don?t care for Olivia Wilde? I just don?t get it. I don?t get her appeal, I don?t understand why men find her sexy, I can?t comprehend how people have strong feelings about her in any way. I look at someone like, say, Megan Fox, and I don?t understand why some people (fanboys) don?t get a grip and realize she?s a crass, arrogant, snotty, ignorant bigot, but even I understand why some men/boys find her hot. Megan?s got that cheap, trashy look that goes a long way with men with no attention spans. But Olivia? She?s utterly unremarkable. But she?s being pegged as the next big thing, The New Hot Girl. Earlier this year she was named Maxim?s Hottest, Sexist WhatsIt, and now we have the nearly-naked GQ cover shoot to solidify it. Damn, this girl must have a great publicist.
GQ’s extensive (some would say exhaustive) slideshow is totally sketchy. At one point, Olivia is naked on a sea grass rug, and all I can think about is how uncomfortable her lady parts must have been. I?ve called her ?anorexic? before, and while I don?t know if that?s true or if she?s just naturally really, really thin, there are several pictures where it seems like all you can see is bony ribcage.
Her interview is pretty boring too. I guess they thought, ?Hey, with all of these pictures of Olivia in a bikini (or less), who?ll be reading the damn thing?? The piece is written by one of Olivia?s fan boys who writes lines like (I kid you not): ?Wilde, of course, is not the first young actress to feel awkward in the face of babedom.? Suck. It. I did learn one interesting thing after reading that epic bore-fest. Olivia?s real last name isn?t Wilde? she adopted Wilde as a stage name, taking it from the famous English writer Oscar Wilde. Olivia?s real last name is? wait for it? Cockburn. What will the fanboys make of that one? I kind of like it. I think she would still be famous if she was Olivia Cockburn. It?s not like it?s Olivia Dickslayer or something.
The one other noteworthy thing, I suppose, is that Olivia wears her liberalism on her sleeve. She actively campaigned for Obama, going door to door and working in phone banks in Iowa, Louisiana and New Hampshire. She even says that Candidate Obama called her once, to personally thank her for her work. Their conversation was brief, but after Olivia hung up she says, ?I was just squealing and squawking, trying to replay the whole thing.? Except she didn?t really hang up - Obama was still on the line, laughing: ?It was awful?horrifying. But apparently he was flattered.? Aw? okay, that was sort of a cute story. But I still don?t care for this chick.

Anne Heche had a truly cringe-worthy appearance on David Letterman last month in which she talked repeated smack about the ex husband and father of her child, Coley Laffoon. Heche came across as unhinged and bitter. She complained about how Laffoon was inviting her to watch him play soccer and said that that all he did for a living was go out to the mailbox and collect her checks. Lafoon issued a whiny statement in response in which he made it clear that he had a job as a real estate agent and said “I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn?t good for the soul or positive for her child. It?s mean.”
Heche and Laffoon will have to work together to successfully co-parent their son, Homer, and judging from the way they’re talking smack about each other in public you can bet they don’t get along behind closed doors. TMZ reports that they’ve been court-ordered to hire a “parenting coordinator” to coach them, and that “parenting coordinator” charges $375 - an hour! I would think that $75 an hour is a little steep. That’s outrageous, but the person does have their work cut out for them that’s for sure:
It’s possibly the worst job in the world — some poor woman has been ordered to get in the middle of the nasty war between Anne Heche and her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon … to teach them how to parent.
After Heche famously blasted her “lazy ass” ex on Letterman, the former couple agreed to get a “parenting plan coordinator” — a highly paid court-ordered chaperone — who will help them play nice for the sake of their son, Homer.
The coordinator will make $375 per-hour to do the following things:
– Coach the parents on effective co-parenting
– Help the parents make joint parenting decisions
– Resolve disputes between the parents concerning the court-ordered parenting plan
Both Anne and Coley signed off on the deal — which will remain in effect until May 1, 2011.

Over a year and a half worth of parenting counseling at $375 an hour! If they only see the person once a week for an hour that’s $1,500 a month! Maybe Anne is making good money in her typecast role as the crazy ex wife on Hung. Am I out of touch because I don’t live in LA and have no clue about billing rates? I thought that most lawyers didn’t even make $375 an hour. I would say that’s steep even if the damn Supernanny was coming over. Maybe I’ll start training to be a parenting expert. Screw that - it’s not worth the money to have to deal with that level of dysfunction.

Yesterday (September 15) she celebrated her 23rd birthday, and Heidi Montag couldn’t have been happier with the gift she received from husband Spencer Pratt.
The reality TV starlet gushed about the new furry edition to their family, a 9-week-old Maltipoo puppy named after a country music legend.
Heidi told press, “Spencer gave me the best gift ever, a Maltipoo puppy that we have named Dolly. I’m so excited to day is my birthday!”
Ms. Montag continued, “Thank you, God, for every moment you have given me and blessing me with my wonderful husband.” While enthusiasm over the puppy is understandable, calling Spencer a ‘blessing’ is questionable at best!

Back in the States after a lengthy romp around Europe, Paris Hilton was all about spending her hard earned money on Tuesday afternoon (September 15).
Taking photos of awaiting photographers with her cell phone as she hopped out of her SUV, the hotel heiress first dropped by the popular Fred Segal shop in West Hollywood before continuing along with stops at Rite Aid and Room Service.
The day’s retail romp comes just as the socialite finds herself as the subject of a legal fight in Germany after bailing on multiple scheduled appearances.
“Paris Hilton has dishonored all appointments and contracts—the dinner with 18 high-ranking guests, the appearance at the bar, the autograph session at Mediastar. We are incredibly disappointed,” Medistar organizer Michael Marx told press, adding that legal action is being planned against Miss Hilton.

Fresh off of an appearance on the debut Jay Leno show, Rihanna was spotted making her way out of Los Angeles via LAX Airport on Tuesday (September 15).
