All of the clothes are Chanel (she?s the face of the Paris-Dallas collection) and the photoshoot took place at some sort of elite grocery store. Megan Fox is still everywhere promoting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This photo shows Megan grasping some roses from a fan. It reminds me of that 2009 moment where Megan snubbed a little boy who was trying to hand her a rose as she rushed by. I don’t think that incident was her fault, but the photo evidence fit her image at the time.
I can’t wait for TNMT to come out. Not because I want to watch it but because I’m getting a little burnt out on Megan already. She disappeared for a few years, and now she’s everywhere (including playing Pictionary with Jimmy Fallon last night). At least she stopped telling haters to “f— off.” Here are some cribbed together interviews. Megan reveals her strict, no-carb diet. Maybe that’s why she’s so punchy. If I gave up bread, desserts, and everything fun to eat, I’d tell everyone to f— off too. Megan also talks about accepting responsibility for her media image. She realizes she nearly crashed her own career a few years ago:
Why she did this movie: “I wanted to be a superhero for my children. They can’t really see Transformers, because it’s too sexualized for them to deal with their mother. That’s their mother bent over the car. We don’t need to go there — maybe ever.”
Her surprise 2nd pregnancy: “I got pregnant 10 days into shooting. Total surprise. I had months left to film this movie. I was exhausted. I was nauseous. I was doing lots of running and I get thrown around. All the tough stuff was left to the other characters.”
Her strict, no-carbs diet: “I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day.”
She knows you think she’s dumb: “It’s hard to upset me. In terms of being intelligent, I think that’s a stigma that comes with being an actress. Some of the responsibility I carry on my own back, for the types of movies that I do. For agreeing to pose for GQ with cherries in my mouth. I’m hoping that getting older will work in my favor. It’s easier for me to take responsibility for it than to blame outside forces.”
She loves doing bad movies? “Life is too short for me to not have fun at work. I’m not on a campaign for an Oscar. It’s not something I’m chasing down or would be validated by. I like doing movies like this because I have fun promoting them and I have fun watching them. I love this one and I’d like to keep doing stuff like this.”
She doesn’t care about celebrity: “I don’t have an emotional tie to my career or my image or a celebrity. It’s a job I do to look after my family. I like it. I’m lucky that I’ve somehow developed the connections I’ve had.”

Megan also appeared on The View. She talked about her strict diet again by saying, “I don’t have cheat days. I don’t eat anything fun.” She works out twice a week for two hours, and she keeps her figure by not eating, basically. Megan also says that Brian Austin Green wants a daughter, but “he doesn’t do any of the work,” so she’s not ready yet. She laments her “bad girl reputation” because she’s been in the same relationship for 10 years. Megan encouraged those rumors herself by pretending to break up with BAG every time she promoted a movie. Oh, and she also possibly faked bisexuality for attention. Here’s a clip from The View.

LOOK AT THE PUPPY. Aw. The puppy has sort of a ?FML? face, which I attribute to being a stunt dog assigned the unenviable task of trying to make Katherine Heigl seem likeable. Good Housekeeping also used Katherine?s two daughters in their photoshoot too, because Heigl really is THAT unlikeable and the only way anyone can tolerate her is if we get to see photos of adorable children and puppies. Anyway, Katherine is still shilling her new TV series, which I guess is premiering this fall. So, obviously, she spent the whole interview talking about how much she loved taking a step back from working full time and being in LA? now that she?s back in LA, working full time. Adopting her daughter from South Korea after growing up with an adopted sister: “My family had its own unique look. And I wanted the one I began with my husband to have the same look, in a way.”
Naleigh?s adoption happened faster than expected & Katherine was working a lot: “I would come home angry and frustrated that I’d missed everything with my kid that day. I didn’t get to wake her up from her nap, or do bath time or bedtime. I’d have to sneak into her room and kiss her when she was sleeping, hoping not to wake her up.?
Messed up priorities: “I felt like my priorities were messed up. I was putting so much time and energy into just my work, but I was raised [to believe] that family comes first.” Shortly after returning to Grey’s, she took a family leave and spent a couple of “glorious” months at home, caring for her daughter. It confirmed her growing sense that she’d have to cut ties with the show, and soon afterward, in 2010, she did.
Moving to Utah (except she?s moved back to LA now): “We had big dreams of expanding our family, moving to the mountains and having a quieter life. Utah is spectacularly beautiful, the people are wonderful and kind, it’s an easy commute from L.A. ? and there’s no traffic!”
She was raised Mormon but she?s not any

Sporting a cropped white t-shirt with green trousers and a white knit hat, the ?Party in the USA? singer was gracious and greeted her fans before departing to her next appointment.

Last week, Martha Stewart lightly shaded her friend Blake Lively. Blake had been making such a big deal about her friendship with Martha, and to give Blake some credit, her friendship with and adoration of Martha Stewart seemed somewhat genuine. Martha, in turn, doesn?t hate Blake. But Martha doesn?t get why a pretty blonde WASP would give up acting to become some lifestyle maven. Well, E! News asked Blake about Martha?s comments and everything having to do with Preserve:
Lively believes she can be both an actress and a lifestyle entrepreneur.
“I want to have my own path professionally and even as she said, I’m an actress,” Lively told me earlier today. “I’m doing something totally different so now I sort of have two careers going on and it’ll be interesting to see how it all pans out. But really what it is, is I have two passions. And I think ultimately, I will always be doing both, but one is going to be paying the bills better than the other.”
Preserve is part magazine with articles, recipes and fashion spreads and part e-commerce with a Lively-curated collection of products for sale, including bow ties, sterling silver jewelry, jars of vegan hot fudge, porcelain vases, California-shaped cutting boards and more.
“It was a very natural transition for me,” Lively said. “Everything that Preserve is is everything that I grew up around in a big way. My mom is somebody who made everything by hand and anything she didn’t make by hand was a discovery and the discovery was often something that was found in a thrift store that was half broken or falling apart. Or it was something an artisan only made a few of, but we couldn’t afford so we would just go and look at it every day and one day she would just buy it and hide it from my dad.”
Lively, who lives in Connecticut (not too far from Stewart) with her hubby of almost two years Ryan Reynolds, didn’t let many people around her know that she was launching Preserve. “It’s what I know better than acting so being in this space is something I’ve done my whole life, just not professionally,” Lively explained. “So now it’s something that I get to share with more people. I’ve been sharing it with friends forever. I didn’t even tell most friends that I was doing it because they still get their own curated products and gifts from me. I’m that girl.”
And also the girl who has idolized Martha.
“Who doesn’t want to be Martha Stewart?” Lively said. “Martha Stewart has been a huge inspiration to me my entire life. She’s a huge source of inspiration for my mom. She’s how I came to know and love Martha. I always say that Martha Stewart Living is the only magazine I ever had growing up. I never had Tiger Beat or any of that stuff.”

Am I the only one who got really annoyed by Blake in this piece? She?s trying so hard to be this magical special unique person offering these special unique magical items and she just gets way too carried away. And it?s hilarious that she thinks there was no build-up or press surrounding this launch. Girl, stop. You got the cover of Vogue to promote your launch. You gave interviews about it for a year. Stop with the twee act.

These photos are of Mischa Barton fronting an ad campaign for an e-cigarette called Vapestick. She likely needs the money. You may have heard that Mischa’s Beverly Hills home is in foreclosure after she missed more than five months of mortgage payments totaling over $100,000. She’s been trying to sell the home since 2010 and has also attempted to rent it out for $35,000 a month with no takers. So she may have decided to let the home go into foreclosure rather than continue to pay when she was underwater on the mortgage. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Mischa has money issues. In 2010 she was sued by her landlord in NY for nonpayment of rent.
Mischa’s career hasn’t really worked out as planned. While her other O.C. costars have found steady TV gigs and parts in film, she’s still struggling. Her IMDB is full but it looks like she’s mostly doing B movies. That could be because of her highly publicized substance abuse problems including a DUI in 2007 and a psychiatric ward stay in 2009, which she blamed at first on the medication for having her wisdom teeth removed, but later admitted was a full breakdown. Mischa might not see her career problems as the result of her personal issues, as she just said that she regretted taking the role that made her famous, Marissa Cooper on The O.C. Here’s what she told UK’s Metro about it:

The 28-year-old issued a warning to other young Hollywood stars to keep their love lives under cover during an exclusive chat with Metro.
?Probably not,? the British-American star mulled on whether she?d take up the role again after her life derailed following fame in The O.C.
?It?s something I came so close to not doing. I had a really great thing with film. People say be grateful for what you have but it certainly not the kind of thing I was expecting it to be?I?ve kind of seen it all.?
The aftermath saw her arrested for drink-driving and claims she was sectioned in 2009 following a trip to the dentist.
Asked if she cared about her reputation, Barton exclaimed: ?Clearly not!?
?That would really do your head in if you were thinking like that. I just like to be seen for the hard-working actress that I am and not for a bunch of extraneous press. In general people are super quick to harbour on the gossipy stuff and less on how much work goes into it.?
She admitted: ?It?s tough. It?s really tough when you are young in this business. People blow a lot of hot air at you. That?s the main thing. Keep your head on your shoulders ? even when you think your head is on your shoulders, sometimes it isn?t!?
?It?s just one of those things when you are growing under a microscope and changing and that evolution is human. That humanity aspect means flaws ? which people don?t want to see. Keep your private life private to the greatest extent that you can,? she warned. ?People have this insatiable appetite for it ? so how far can you go with that??
Barton told how it has been hard not to lose her cool over the jibes over her chaotic world.
?There?s tough balance in being a nice person about it and becoming too closed off and not nice,? she said.?
The star also insisted she had earned her stripes after spelling out the road to fame is a trudge.
?People think they are overnight successes even when tonnes of blood, sweat and tears and years of ground work goes into it,? she explained. ?Which I find strange about society in general. They think it?s an instant thing where you work really hard for these things.?

First of all, she’s only 28 now? I thought she was in her 30s already. Mischa sounds like Lindsay Lohan to me, if Lindsay were about 50% more sober and articulate. There’s a lot of defensiveness here. This isn’t the first time that Mischa has said she regrets doing television, in 2009 she said that she needed to get away from network TV, but that was right after her show, The Beautiful Life on The CW, was canceled. (It was an Ashton Kutcher production and it was a mess.) So she has regrets, but is she saying that her breakout role is to blame for the way things are turning out for her instead of taking responsibility for her choices? It sounds like that to me. I could be wrong, she could be saying that things started to derail for her after that point and she wonders what would have happened if she didn’t take that role.
These Vapestick ads are decent, I like her styling, it’s very “late fall boho.”

Back in 2012, Alexis Bledel did a guest-starring arc on Mad Men. Her character was straight out of Sylvia Plath ? she was tragic, insane and sexual. She played a housewife type seduced by Vincent Kartheiser?s Pete Campbell. The two actors had some sexy scenes together, including one hot fantasy sequence involving Alexis wearing a fur coat and nothing else. Anyway, it was true love. Vincent and Alexis started dating, and then they got engaged last March. Vincent picked out her ring and everything. It was all very sweet, and they make an adorable couple. Well, Star Mag says that they did the undercover wedding thing? two months ago!!
They?re hitched! Star can exclusively reveal that Mad Men costars Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a high-end resort in Ojai, Calif. on June 7.
Family members and invited guests, including Jon Hamm and Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, stayed at the Ojai Rolling Thunder Ranch during the couple?s romantic weekend.
?Alexis looked breathtaking,? a wedding guest gushes. ?She wore a floor-length gown, and her hair was up. Vincent wore a gray suit and teared up when Alexis walked down the aisle.?
The couple, who became engaged in March 2013, are thrilled that they kept their nuptials so low-key. ?They wouldn?t have had it any other way,? the friend says.

I?m debating whether or not to believe this. While they are two people who tend to be very private, they?ve also walked on red carpets together and Alexis talked about the engagement a little bit publicly. So, I wasn?t expecting them to release wedding photos or anything but surely they wouldn?t have a problem with confirming that a wedding took place? But I think it did take place. Star?s details are just too specific. So, congrats to Vincent and Alexis!

By the way, Vincent put his bachelor bungalow up for sale this week and the listing has been making the rounds because his house was SUPER-TINY. There are struggling actors living in Manhattan with bigger apartments, that?s how small his home was. I really love talking about Diane Kruger and covering her interviews and her style, but I?ve found that most of the time, you guys don?t really give a crap. So? if you enjoy Diane, give a honk. I enjoy her. She?s not scandalous, she?s an interesting woman doing interesting work, she?s been in a committed relationship with Joshua for eight years and I still find them enchanting together. Anyway, Diane covers some special edition of InStyle. The cover is meh but the quotes are decent.
On stylists: “I started out my career in Europe, in French films, where nobody enlists a stylist. When I first came here, I found that people have a team?the hairstylist, the makeup artist, the stylist?and for a time I did that, but I did not like anything they were giving me. I have a basic idea of what I want, and having a stylist just seems way more fuss than necessary to get dressed.”
Her stylist put her in Marchesa: ?At my first Golden Globes, I don?t know why, but I wore a dress, a Marchesa dress. I love Marchesa, I love the girls, and I don?t know why we talked ourselves into this dress. It was gold and my belly was exposed, but I decided to do retro hair?I had a short bob then. It was not a good look, and I think that will be remembered.?
She loves carbs and French food: “In L.A., you’re the devil if you eat bread. Josh and I went to Paris over Christmas, and he gained, like, 15 pounds. The bread! White chocolate! Risotto! Pt! My friend lives out in Normandy on a farm, and she makes her own foie gras. And then the wine. All we did was eat and drink. It was so fun.”
She wants to live in France (again): “I consider myself half French. That’s where I think I want to raise my children, where I see myself growing old. Maybe because I’m European, their way of life is very close to what I know. I’ve always loved Paris. When I went there it was my first time ever on a plane. From the moment I arrived, I was like, I’m never leaving.”

Karl Lagerfeld gave her a black crocodile bag: ?He gave it to me for Christmas. It?s one of those pieces that is just stunning. It?s so beautiful that I only wear it, like, once a year because I don?t want to ruin it.?

I love the Marchesa story. I think she was trying to avoid throwing shade at Georgina Chapman while still making it clear that she will never, ever wear Marchesa trash again. But like I always say about Diane ? she just has that high-fashion look, and even if she?s wearing the most budget dress in the world, she makes it look like Chanel. It?s a gift.

Zoe Saldana covers the September issue of Cosmo for Latinas to promote Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie performed very well on opening weekend, which means Zoe’s stock will rise even further. She has so many successful sci-fi franchises in her pocket. She will start working on the Avatar sequels after she gives birth (although we’re not supposed to mention her pregancy because that’s an invasion of privacy). There will be more Star Trek in her future too. That’s so wild to me. Zoe can kick butt, but she’s not a very good dramatic actress. I guess she doesn’t have to be.
This interview covers several topics. Zoe calls herself “a thug as opposed to “a girly girl.” That statement’s a bit confusing since she made such a big deal about how she’s “a lady.” Zoe also talks about her stock as an actress. Plus some stuff about what makes a man attractive and how she can tell if someone is good in bed:
On public image: “An actress is like a stock. When you’re in high demand because you have three movies coming out or you’ve gone through a breakup, you’ll look outside your window and see photographers. But you can also live a very anonymous life if you choose.”
As a black Latina, is she compared to other actresses? “I’m sure I’m compared to everything behind closed doors. Now that I’m a producer — and I’ve been in the director’s chair as well, for my Rosemary’s Baby remake — I sympathize with what producers go through. We’re in the business of making movies, and sometimes you have to make political decisions that get in the way of the art.”
Being a woman in Hollywood: “Throughout history, for every five doors that have opened for a man, only one has opened for a woman. So the moment another woman comes along — especially a younger one — she gets picked on instead of embraced. I’m 35, and I don’t want to be afraid of the 22-year-olds. I’m actually in a better place than they are.”
Life is better than it was a few years ago: “At 35, you make better choices in men or partners, divorce people and situations that are not right for you, and learn to say ‘no’ with a smile.”

I’m so used to Zoe shading Bradley Cooper that I keep reading more shade into all her quotes about relationships and sex. Zoe’s saying that she makes “better choices in men” than she did a few years ago. That was probably about BCoop. Is she also saying he’s “the worst ever” in bed? Nah. I’m reading too much into that quote. Zoe dated other guys before BCoop (one of them for a decade). Surely, she’s not saying that Mr. Serial Killer Eyes is awful in bed. Great, now I’ve wasted thought on what BCoop is like in the sack.
Zoe paid a visit to David Letterman last week. She talked about her ten tattoos. Zoe says she gets her friends and family drunk, takes them to tattoo parlors, and talks them into bad body art. But she makes very sober choices for her own tattoos. How rude.
