We can go months without talking about LeAnn Rimes, and for that, I?m grateful. But spring is here and summer is on the way, which means LeAnn has emailed her step-sons? Little League and soccer schedules to the paparazzi so they can get plenty of photos of her in short-shorts, posing as the Best Step-Mom Ever. These are photos from this weekend, where LeAnn and Eddie were attending one of the kids? soccer games. Of course LeAnn wore shorty-shorts and a low-cut sweater. Everything is all about LeAnn, always!
We haven?t really talked about LeAnn in more than a month, and even then, it wasn?t really because LeAnn was doing something new. In February, Dean Sheremet was promoting his cookbook, and he ended up talking about LeAnn a bit in interviews and the book. LeAnn?s lawyers sent Dean a threatening letter about it, but I don?t know if anything came out of it. I mean, Dean still promoted his book and we haven?t heard anything about LeAnn actually suing him, so maybe she dropped the issue. Which is so unlike her.
What else? She?s still posting a lot of stuff on social media, but she?s been somewhat quiet and un-newsworthy lately. Usually if we get a few months of quiet, that means something big is coming down the pipeline. We?ll see!

Gwen Stefani, promoting her latest album, “This is What the Truth Feels Like,” mentoring on Team Blake on The Voice and dealing with the day-to-day challenges of motherhood, talked to TIME Magazine. She called the producers and songwriters she collaborated with gifts from a ?higher power? and all part of a ?master plan.? Sheesh. You’d think this was “Dark Side of the Moon,” “Sgt. Pepper” or a destined classic the way she describes it, but I guess she’s really proud of it. Here are some highlights:
On the album: ?It was really a life-saver record for me. It wasn?t until I had to go through the worst tragedy that it really opened up a channel for me to be like, ?God gave me a gift. I?m going to use it now. Because if I don?t, I?m going to die.’?
On moving on: ?I?ve really been trying to exercise my spiritual side in the last year. I scraped myself off the floor and went into the studio and tried to somehow be alive again.?
On her divorce: ?I don?t feel like I have anything to be ashamed of. I?ve done nothing wrong. I don?t feel like I have anything to protect about myself. But when you?re a mother, you have to have some boundaries.?
On the struggles she faced getting Truth recorded: ?I started going in with different people, but it felt kind of man?s world-y. Like, ?Wow, we?re excited you?re here, but we?re going to do everything.? [They weren?t] open to my ideas.?
On being a rocker in love: ?It was the first time that I really had written a record from a different point of view of being in love and being grateful and being in a really, ?Oh my God, I got saved!? kind of place.?
On what her time on The Voice meant to her: ?This newfound tabloid fame that I?ve got definitely came from being on TV ? that just takes it to a different place I?ve never been before. I?m just so grateful for that experience. To be on a show where I got to step outside of myself and coach and think about my own career really helped me find my confidence again and feel kind of reborn.?

This past weekend, Gwen played proud mama to sons Kingston, 9 and Zuma, 7 as they took part in the wedding of one of Gwen’s friends. Two-year-old Apollo stayed with Mom, who dip dyed her hair black – which I don’t like, but it’s not my hair.

As we learned two weeks ago, Ciara and Russell Wilson are engaged after about a year of dating. Ciara and Russell?s relationship has always been surprisingly public ? they were walking red carpets together after only dating for a few months, and even more than that, they have both publicly discussed the fact that they aren?t having sex. They are waiting until marriage? or maybe this engagement, I don?t know. I suspect they?re waiting for marriage. But surely the engagement gets them to second base?
Anyway, Russell proposed to Ciara while they were on vacation overseas, but now they?re back in the states, and Ciara had a gig this weekend in Las Vegas. This was her first public appearance since the engagement. She performed at the Marquee, and rather adorably, she made sure that all of the photographers got some good shots of her engagement ring. Apparently, it?s a 16-carat flawless diamond. From Us Weekly:

I really love looking at photos of engagement rings and really any kind of jewelry, and this ring is? alright. On a scale of Jennifer Aniston?s cloudy, quartz-like ?diamond? (on the low end) to Mariah Carey?s crazy-perfect diamond, this one seems to be sort of in the middle for me. I actually like the setting a lot, but I?m not crazy about the old-school feel of the cut of the central diamond. Still, it?s pretty and I bet Russell paid a fortune for it.

I genuinely find Irina Shayk to be one of the most beautiful models around. My favorite is still Doutzen Kroes, but I really like Irina?s ?look.? But not here. This just goes to show you: you can be arguably one of the most beautiful women in the world, and there are still looks and hair colors that you can?t pull off. Irina Shayk can?t pull off blonde. Now we know. Irina posted the above photo to her social media, writing: ?Who said I can’t be blonde?? I DO. I say you shouldn?t be blonde, not that you can?t.
Irina tagged the photo with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott?s names, so I?m assuming this is for a magazine editorial, or possibly an ad campaign. In other words, it?s likely temporary and she?ll be brunette again in no time. I?m sure some of you will even theorize that it?s a wig, but I really don?t think so? I?ve been fooled before though, so who knows?
Meanwhile, Irina is still going strong with Bradley Cooper, despite the now monthly tabloid reports of an impending split. The other man has a very beautiful girlfriend. And it?s been a while since he?s had a very young boyfriend. Getting wild with young, ripped men has been a compulsion for him. But since she came around, he?s been able to deny those desires and has committed to straight living. It helps that there?s a payment plan. Multiple independent sources have told me over the last week that the story going up and down her circle is that on the 15th of every month she receives a direct deposit amounting to almost a million dollars. The only part (literally, the only part) that makes me question if this is really B-Coop and Irina is the money stuff. I?m not sure Bradley would be so free with the money, and I question whether he would drop $10-12 million a year for a girlfriend (or ?girlfriend?). And does he have that kind of money to blow? PS… Her brows are really throwing me off too. Right?
